FRED FINDS TRUE LOVE
Chapter 1
Hermione
was sitting alone in the common room, it was the Christmas holidays, everybody
had gone home to celebrate with their families, but she and the weasleys were
staying with Harry. Harry, Ron, Fred,
George and Ginny had gone to have a snow ball fight in the grounds, but she
rather stay in the warmth with Crookshanks and read a book that she had gotten
out of the library before the holidays started. She was just getting comfy when she heard the common room door
open. It was Fred, he jumped in to the
room with a grin on his face, he had snow all though his fiery red hair.
Hermione giggled at the red headed clown.
"Where are the others?" she asked
"Oh they are still down there, it was getting cold so I
came up here to keep you company"
"You Fred Weasley giving up fun to come and keep me
company, your joking right!"
"No joke, I just didn't feel like it."
They sat in silence; ever now and then you could hear the
sound of Crookshanks purrs or Hermione turning the next page. Finally Fred jumped up from where he was
sitting next to Hermione and said "Hermione do you want to go for a walk, we
can look at the Christmas decorations!"
Hermione smiled and thought it was all part of some big
prank that the others had thought up, but she said yes anyway.
It was nearly dark by the time the others got back to the
common room, they expected to see Hermione sitting on the lounge reading and
Fred working on some new practical jokes, but the common room was empty except
for Crookshanks who was rolled up by the fire, they collapsed onto the floor
laughing it had been so much fun playing in the snow, pity Fred and Hermione
missed out.
Fred had taken Hermione up to the tower and now they where
looking down onto the grounds of Hogwarts, Hagrids hut was covered in snow but
you could still see the lights in the windows.
Hermione looked over at Fred, she had never seen this side
of him, he was usually mucking around with his brother George, but by himself
he was nice and-
Hermione thought to herself, do I have a crush on Fred
Weasley?
"Hermione we should be getting back it's getting late and
the others are probably already in the hall for dinner, it's Christmas
tomorrow, you don't want to sleep in!" he said
Hermione agreed.
"Finally their here" Ron said to Harry as Fred and
Hermione enter the great hall for dinner.
Fred sat down next to George, "where have you guys been?'' asked George,
"oh Fred suggested that we go for a walk and see how the Christmas decorations
were going" Hermione said as she sat down next to Ginny.
"Oh we thought you had gotten kidnapped," said Ron
jokingly
After dinner they made their way back to the warm common,
Hermione sat on the lounge picked up her book and began to read again.
"What are doing!" said the others
"Oh I just wanted to finish this chapter before a go to
bed I won't be long, you guys can go to bed"
Ginny said goodnight to Hermione and went to the girls'
dormitories and the boy went up to theirs.
Hermione sat there reading when heard someone coming back
down stairs she expected it was Chookshanks, but it was Fred, she smiled as
walked over to her and sat down next to her.
"I forgot to do something" he said he leaned toward her
and kissed her on the cheek. "Goodnight Hermione."
She blushed as he walked up the stairs to the boys
dormitories, she whispered "Goodnight Fred''
I know it really mushy but it was the only thing I could
