My second
video. Yay! Hehehe. I like writing videos. Could this be my calling in life?
**dramatic pause** No. I was always meant to be a medical examiner.. **maniacal
laughter** But it's my first Fearless video, and this was particularly fun to
write. By the way, Francine Pascal owns Fearless and it's characters; this song
is by Amanda Ghost, and I won't pretend to own it, either.
[As the music starts, we see Ed sitting at the table in
Gaia's kitchen. He has a small box of bagels.]
Drawn to the
violence of change [Ed leans casually on the armrest of his wheelchair,
bagel in hand.]
Charmed by the sentimental brave [He takes a bite of his
bagel as Gaia walks in. He stares at her.]
I hear the door slam, I look the other way [Gaia gives
him a confused look, and he stops staring. They start talking.]
I hate the small talk and the empty days [They keep
talking, but there's a look of pain in Ed's eyes. Gaia doesn't notice.]
Silver lining [Switch scenes. Ed and Gaia are at school,
in science class.]
I bathe in your light [Ed looks at the boys staring as
she walks out of the room.]
I'll always believe in your place in my life [He smiles and
turns his attention to her.]
Silver lining [Ed leaves the room.]
I know that I'm right [He's catching up to Gaia]
I'll always believe in your right to shine [They begin to
leave school and talk.]
Scared of the things that people say. [Switch scenes.
Ed's sitting at his computer writing an e-mail.]
Knowing my confidence might fail. [We can see the
computer screen. It reads "Dear Gaia."]
I feel the worlds weight upon my breaking back. [He types
"I love you."]
I see uncertainty and the visible cracks. [Ed deletes the
e-mail.]
Silver lining [Switch scenes. Ed is going through
Washington Square Park, looking for Gaia.]
I bathe in your light [He finds her at the chess tables.]
I'll always believe in
your place my life [He starts to go to talk to her.]
Silver lining [He sees she's with Sam.]
I know that I'm right [Ed stares for a moment.]
I'll always believe in your right to shine [Ed leaves.]
Silver lining [Switch scenes. Ed is in his room. He's
holding a picture frame.]
I bathe in your light [We go closer to see the frame is a
picture of him, Mary, and Gaia.]
I'll always believe in your place in my life [Ed wipes
his eyes.]
Silver lining [He places the picture on his desk.]
I know that I'm right [Ed stares at the picture for a
moment.]
I'll always believe in your right
to shine [Ed leaves his room. Picture fades out.]
Ahh.. That felt
good. I had something stirring in my brain for that song for a while. I wrote
this while reading Rebel (#7), so there may be a few contradictions with canon.
Sorry. **shrugs** Been catching up.
