Obi-Wan Kenobi sat on his sleep couch. He kept shaking his head. "I must forget." he muttered to himself. But it was hard to forget when you had just last night kissed the highest authority in the Palace of Theed. Jedi were not supposed to show emotion, yet he had let his out of control. He ran his hand through his short, auburn hair trying to calm down. "I am not made to be a Jedi." he said to himself, looking out the window. He saw Queen Amidala walking with Anakin. His heart leaped when he saw Amidala. Then he saw Anakin pause. He remembered a promise Qui-Gon had made him. Obi-Wan had been talking about how he had nothing to love, no family, pets, and how no one loved him. Qui-Gon had spoke important words to him. "You'll find her someday. I promise." he had said. He saw Anakin pull Amidala to him, and he spoke to her. Then he pulled her closer and kiss her on the cheek. Obi-Wan remembered Qui-Gon's words. It was an unkept promise.
