Now what did Tasuki have that he didn't want people to know? Chichiri knew that he had that good "friend" Kouji, but that wouldn't produce the desired effect, nor could he be sure that there was anything between them at all.
Hmmm... Tamahome had gotten to know Tasuki before he had a chance to meet the red-headed bandit from the mountains. Maybe he would know something. But that would mean having to put up with Tamahome's jibes for however long it would take. He could always ask Hotohori, who was also there, but the emperor didn't have much time with one of the major festivals coming up soon.
So, Tamahome it would be. Joy. Looking at a rare timepiece, he noted that it was too late this night to ask of such a favour. He had a cup of tea and went to bed, hoping that the next day would bring good luck in his endeavour.
