Chapter 3

"at school"

Of all my friends I told my biggest secret, Deema is the most close to Molly, so I'll be focussing on her. The rest can participate of course, I don't exclude them, but it's hard to handle 4 friends at once. Friends yeah, you can trust them.

And for Molly? Sigh, just try to be normal. Smile, look cool. And hopefully everyone will support me. I took a deep breath and approached my group of friends who I just spotted.

"Hey Gil!" They all said. I waved back.

I took place in the circle and joined the conversation, with Molly too. You are doing it! You are staying normal! Let's keep it like this for… sigh, I don't know how long. Until I confess? I should wait a bit, our finals are coming in less than 3 weeks, during the vacation then… But I don't really know when during the vacation. Is she going somewhere? I should ask it, that's a normal question right? The best would be during the first 2 weeks of July, after it my parents planned a trip to France. Go ask it Gil.

"So who's going where after the finals this summer?" I threw in the conversation.

"I signed up for a camp where I must entertain little children. It's gonna be fun." Goby said.

"I don't really know yet…" Nonny said.

"Me neither, but I'm sure my parents planned something." Oona added.

"I'm going to the beach! It's gonna be so fun there! But I will miss you all." Deema said.

"Hmm, my family goes to Italy every summer, but I think they wanted to visit Mexico this year." Molly said. "And you Gil?" She asked. Okay okay, stay calm, it's a normal question. You were doing great, don't fuck it up now. Answer!

"I go to France." Gil said.

"Oooh, that's really nice. I love it there!" Molly said. "When do you go?" She added. Wow, I was lucky for ones.

"We leave mid-July. And you? When do you leave?"

"Uhh, around mid-July too. Yeah around there." Molly said. I felt an extreme feeling of happiness. Just like me! The perfect timing. I must inform Deema about this plan.

"After school"

I was looking around to spot Deema. What a chance, she's there, and alone. Okay let's go to her.

"Deema!" I said. She was surprised.

"Hey Gil. Something you wanna talk about?" She asked.

"Yes, I have a plan… For Molly and, stuff, you know."

"Stuff… I see… Go on."

"Perfect so, you were there huh, and you heard it. This morning, I asked when Molly would go on vacation. And because we have finals soon, I don't want to confess then. I want to confess during the holidays."

"Yeah, that sounds good."

"But when specifically? Where? What do I say?"

"Don't ask yourself too much questions, for now. You should focus on your finals first, it's hard I know. But it's more important than Molly. Know your priorities Gil."

"Y yeah… you're right. I'll do that."

"I'll support you, don't worry."

"Thanks Deema, you're a real friend. But it's gonna be hard, not to think or even see her during this period. Did you already start studying?"

"Heheee, let's not talk about that haha. Well you can still see her let's say this week."

"We used to hang out together, a lot. But we were childs, not filled with hormones, now I'll probably flip completely when I see her alone."

"You should try to control yourself."

"I have an idea, to see her. I invite the whole group at my home to play on the WII. Isn't that a good idea? It's been pretty long since she came to my home, and that we all did something fun together."

"It's good for me, you should ask the rest, I'm sure they can too."

"Do we need to come a little later? So that you have a little moment with Molly?"

"No, that's awkward. Just come on time." And that's where the conversation ended.

"Back at home"

I got reassured to hear, after I send the invitation, that Molly could come. The rest would come too. I'm happy. Happy to see all my friends together. And my crush. In 5 days… It's gonna be fun.
