Well, shall we go?

Time Skip 2 hours; Izzy's POV

Everything is ready. Everything is good. Everything is how we left it, we all realized that we needed to bring everything we needed.

I brought extra clothes, sleep clothes, my books, and my pixie dust. Peter gave me a pouch that is bigger on the inside than the outside. He said that this bag could contain as much pixie dust I want. I also brought the music box that Peter gifted to me. It's small enough to fit in my hand and it seems to be made of metal, but it works, at thats all that matters.

Cubby brought his map, the magic compass, sleep clothes, extra clothes, and a camera.

Jake brought his sword, sleep clothes, extra clothes, and the book which we dubbed the Captain's log #2. He got another blank book because we all knew that this adventure would not fit into the other one.

He also had his Gem necklace locket, it turns out he doesn't need to be touching the Moon Gem to transform. He probably absorbed the magic that was embedded into the hard surface.

Now everyone was gathered here in front of the Forevertree, at its base, and when I say everyone, I mean everyone. The Neverland league of Pirate Captains, Peter, Marina, her sister Stormy, Pip the prate genie and even The Magical Beardini. They are all waiting for us to go through the portal, and they were all informed that from their perspective, we would only be gone for 7 seconds.

But the thing is, we would not be there when they got there, we would stand at the top of the mountain, which we dubbed Destiny Hill. Jake is teaching us how to fly without pixie dust, even though I have more than enough pixie dust than we could ever need! But he insisted, and I can't really argue with those cute puppy dog eyes.

"What you need to understand is that you need happy thoughts, about anything, try to feel joy, excitement," Jake says.

Almost immediately, I felt myself lifting off the ground, just like I do with Pixie Dust. "Yay Hey Yes Way!" I can already tell Cubby is feeling the exact same thing as me.

Cubby then brought my attention to the fact that he wanted to spend his last moments in Neverland, until we get back, with us. "I do too! But what should we do?" Jake said, making a face.

The moon is still out and by now the clouds have passed. Jake mentioned at one point that while he doesn't transform automatically, feels the magic thrum in his veins when the moon decids to show itself. As if "the wolf" is trying to coax itself out.

"Actually," I say, suddenly having an idea, "I think I have a song on my musicbox that would be amazing on a night like this."

I grab my music box which was filled with songs from around the world, it was the perfect gift. I pull up the song and play it.

No one's POV

Izzy starts floating as the first plucks of the violin string sounds. She flies higher and higher, beckoning them to follow her.

Come little children,

I'll take thee away,

Into a land of enchantment

Jakes eyes seem to take on a glimmer of wonder as he listens to the first few verses of the song. We all hovor high above the Never Peak, admiring the magical land in front of us.

Come little children,

The times come to play,

Here in my garden of shadows

The song is haunting, but beautiful, dangerous but wonderful. Izzy is sure that Jake actually feels that more than me, he seems entirely at peace. Admiring the way that the shadows bring the entire Island together as the gentle plucks of the string become slightly more frequent.

Follow sweet children,

I'll show thee the way,

Through all the pain,

And the sorrows

Each of them sheds a bittersweet tear, amazed that is song fits so well, and sad that we would have to leave in less than an hour. Their eyes are drawn up to the moon, feeling as if it's speaking to them through this song.

Weep not, poor children,

For life is this way,

Murdering beauty and passions

It's comforting to now that the moon is willing to comfort us. Even if it's only a song. Although Jake seems to not think so, he sways to the song, as if the words were sung to him, and him only. His hands almost unoticably twitch as he feels the magic of the moon's rays, this gentle energy, motherly almost. Another tear traveled down his face.

Hush now my children,

It must be this way,

Too weary of life, and deceptions

Noone notices the raw emotion on Jake's face, noone, but the moon. A warm breeze suddenly wraps his arms around his body, and he shivers at the sudden feeling.

Rest now my children,

For soon well away,

Into the calm, and the quiet

A small smile made it's way up his face, and he let himself relax. He loves the way it all feels, like haveing no care in the world.

Now the plucks of the violin strings become more prominent, and there came multiples of the same voices, some louder, some quieter. As if the voices echoed all across Neverland. The voices coaxed the crew upwards into the clouds, and slowly following the moon. Jake gave a little twirl when they all broke the cloud cover.

Come little children,

I'll take thee away,

Into a land of enchantment,

With every second that passes, the calm sets in, and their eyes are getting droopy. They can't keep them open.

Come little children,

The times come to play,

Here in my garden of shadows…

The plucks of the violin now cease, and the song stops echoing, leaving behind an empty feeling. But now, they have completely fallen asleep. And they start to fall.

Down, down, down, they go. Where, into the water, nobody knows. Luckily, Cubby opens his eyes, he has always been a light sleeper.

He jerks suddenly, remembering his flight powers. "Aw coconuts, coconuts, coconuts, COCONUTS!" He zooms downward, catching Izzy by the arm and Jake by the hand. He started shaking them to wake them up. He starts sinking, the weight of the two of them, and the growing lack of positive emotion, is dragging them down.

They are getting dangerously close to the water.

Fortunately, Izzy's eyes open wide as she realizes where she is. She grabs Cubby's attention and tells him to let go, so he does. She begins levitating, using the relief she feels that she did not fall. Cubby uses a similar feeling, that same relief is letting him rise back up.

Then, Jakes eyes open and lets go of Cubby and floats on his own too. He tucks his hands behind his back, feeling sheepish.

"Well I guess we better go back to Neverland… Right?"

Peter Pan's POV

"What is taking them so long?" I thought, before I looked to the old codfish complaining again.

"Blundering Balderdash! Every minute we waste here, is a minute we could spend searching for treasure!" And I see Beatrice Le'beak agreeing strenuously.

"Look alive crew!" Jake and his crew are sailing downwards on no Pixie Dust. I look at them proudly, before turning back to the audience.

"Welcome Pirate Mates!" I exclaim, looking to see Mr. Smee keeping the captain in his place. "Welcome to the Forevertree, the place where all of Neverlands Magic comes from. Here today we will see, a little thing I like to call, the Never Portal."

"It has a onetime use only. And only for the chosen one and his crew. That Chosen one is Jake!" "You are all here to wish them fairwell, and after seven seconds, they will comeback here."

So we all walk to the portal. The portal seems to draw magic from the Forevertree. It seems that the portal is on a pedestal, the frame made entirely by it's roots. And as Jake gets closer, the inside of it glows into a swirling blue color. Like clean sea water.

"Goodbye!" They all yell, running to each of us, and giving big hugs.

When they were all done, they went up to the portal, glowing magnificently. They all held hands, determined not to lose eachother. And stepped through, the glow became blinding and all of us had to look away. Before it finally receded, and nothing was there.
