Bold is for attacks

Cryer's POV

With guests in the town from nearby countries things were busy for once, I even managed to pick up a few books that were with some of the soldiers. Rimuru and the others had decided to name his new nation Tempest, an adequate name. With the forma establishment of a nation more and more merchants started coming, which meant more books and information which I quite liked.

"Things aren't so bad right now." I hummed putting a book back on the shelf "Hmm?"

I suddenly felt an intense magical pressure in the air.

"Something is coming…"

I went outside and head a loud crashing sound, whatever was coming was already here. I followed the sound and saw Rimuru was already there. There was plenty of dust around so it was difficult to see what was going on.

"Cryer what's going on?" Shuna came running up.

"Stay back." I warned "Something dangerous is here."

"Hahaha!" a childish voice laughed "Nice to meet you."

That voice…

The dust cleared and there was a short young girl there with bright pink hair tied into pigtails. Her outfit was rather revealing for someone of her body type with shorts so small they barely qualified as clothing.

"Sup!" she smiled "I'm the Demon Lord Milim Nava! I heard you were strong so I decided to come say hi."

"It's Milim…" I hummed.

"A demon lord." Shuna shivered.

"Nice to mee you Mr. Slime." She lifted up Rimuru "You're the strongest here right, you have a strong Aura. It's impossible to hide from my dragon eye. I thought you were a silver haired person though."

She's not attacking…she's just playing with them?

"She's a demon lord." I saw Shion go past me "You shouldn't fight her."

"If Rimuru is in danger then we have to fight right?" Shuna said.

"You're attacking me?" Milim pouted "That won't work!"

She roared and let off a blast of magic that knocked the attacks away.

"I warned you." I hummed "She's only a child in appearance, she's a seasoned warrior otherwise."

I should probably get involved…but I'm curious if Rimuru will be able to handle her.

Rimuru attempted to defend the others for a moment when they saw how smug Milim was they changed tactics and instead conjured up honey and used it to feed her.

"Tasty!" she cheered "Super Tasty! The tastiest thing ever!"

"I'll give you more if you concede." Rimuru told her.

"How about a draw, I won't cause any more trouble just gimme more honey ok?"

"Well, that wasn't how I predicted that would end." I laughed "Though it's a fight involving Milim so I was expecting quite the mess."

"Huh? Oh. Cryer hi!" she waved "It's been like forever since I saw you."

"You know a Demon Lord." Shuna gasped.

"I know a lot of people." I laughed "It's one of my secrets."

"Yeah we go way back." Milim smiled.

"What are you doing here Milim?" I asked as we started walking back to town.

"I came to see if there was a new Demon Lord." She said "Or someone trying to be one."

"Why would I wanna be a Demon Lord?" Rimuru asked.

"Cause it's fun." Milim said "Don't tell me you're having more fun here than me! I wanna have fun too! Let me come to the city and have fun too!"

"Alright, alright." Rimuru sighed "So should I just call you Milim?"

"Only important people call me Milim." She pouted.

"How kind I'm important." I smiled.

"Well friends call each other by their first names." Rimuru said.

"Friends…ok!" Milim nodded.

I should be careful with Milim here, who knows what she might say or do.

I was surprised how little of a commotion Milim made around town, sure she was a mess at first but after about an hour of being reigned in by Rimuru she was much more relaxed.

"I didn't think you'd be here." She skipped up to me "How crazy! I just figured you were dead or something."

"How kind of you." I sighed "No I've just been minding my own business, I've been in this village for a while now, it's quite nice to have someplace stable again."

"Hmm I guess this place isn't so bad." She nodded.

"So did Clayman send you here?" I asked.

"Huh, nah I came because I wanted to." She pouted.

"Alright…" I then turned back "Next time you see him, tell Clayman to keep his hands off this place, next time I might not be so kind about leaving it be."

"Yeah, yeah." She waved "You know how he is I doubt he cares."

"That's the problem, he doesn't care and he doesn't listen." I sighed.
