February 3rd dear diary we spent the last 9 days resting after our surgeries, we are all back to work as of today but need to take it easy still. In clinic today we saw baby Mia who was brought down by Lois, she had gotten her finger stuck in a door. We sent them through as we thought it might need stitches. We were right it needed 8 stitches and the nail will fall off, ouch poor baby. We also saw Mom who had twisted her knee she is wrapped and on strict orders to rest.
After clinic I had my final dress fitting the dress is so pretty, I can't wait to wear it. I talked to mom and tomorrow I am going with Dorrie and Candice for a makeup consult. This should be fun as I have never been allowed to wear makeup before. I am on call this weekend so that amber can attend a party at Cleo's. signing off I am tired again and need to sleep.
February 4th dear diary I had my consult today they did my colors, and I am a spring but have several power colors including burnt orange. Mom bought me the whole package it includes foundation blush lip gloss eyeshadow and eyeliner. This is for special occasions only as I am a little young for makeup. We also went and found me several skirts and tops for work as I am going back full time next month so that Candice can go on a special trip with her boyfriend Everett. Who is the brother of Dorrie's boyfriend Frederick.
When I got home mom had the royal hairdresser come in and trim my hair as I have a lot of split ends and it needed some repairs. She also showed me how to take care of my hair. Then we saw the dermatologist who gave us a cream for my acne. As a young lady I need to take care of these things. Signing off mom asked me to make dinner so Mrs. lopart can go home early she has a headache.
February 5th dear diary my class was presented as young ladies and gentlemen. We have each earned an adult wand, I will get mine next week as mom's taking me to see some friends until the 10th, I will write then diary.
February 10th dear diary mom and I went to the village wand shop my adult wand is made of oak and has a unicorn heart string its 14 inches long. I am not exactly sure what that means, but the lady was very impressed. In other news Elsie will attend a different school this next year so she and Sofia's adopted sister Hikari are attending the same school. The 2 of them have become inseparable since they met. She as required by the school also got her adult wand, like mine its oak has a unicorn heartstring only hers is 12 inches long. according to the lady in the shop wands that are similar tend to pick the same type of people or families.
In other news I got my heals today and moms teaching me to walk in them. This is harder than it looks as I feel wobbly. We will practice each day mom said it will get easier. We are in prep mode for the dance I have helped make dozens of desserts and started prep on the main meal. We are having fresh seafood and 4 kinds of bread along with potatoes rice and other side dishes. For desserts we have 4 types of cake 6 different cookies and much more this is the only event we host that isn't a potluck. Signing off mom wants me to try the shoes and dress together.
February 13th dear diary tomorrow's the big day my first date, I am anxious to see how it goes this is a big deal for me. I am pretty sure I like him as more then a friend but am not exactly sure. Dorrie and Candice got here a little while ago to help me finish prepping for the big day tomorrow. we are all sat here talking about boys and other teen things. Mom had me wash my hair so that Dorrie Could French braid it with pink ribbons on the ends. Lilly had Candice do the same with hers only with red bows. I then did Dorrie's with yellow ribbons and Lilly did Candice's with orange ribbon. We all need to go to bed I will talk to you tomorrow.
February 14th dear diary today was my first date, it was amazing and here's how it went. I was up early to help prep everything then mom sent the maids up to help all us girls get dressed. First, we had 3 petty coats put on the last one with a hoop, then came the dress. We then put on stockings and our shoes before our braids were pinned in a fancy bun. We then got our makeup done before mom had us wait in the throne room for the boy's when Carter arrived, he gave me a flower wrist band and mom had gotten me a flower for him. We then headed to the dance and I am going to scream HE KISSED ME ON THE CHEEK AND THE LIPS YES I HAD MY FIRST KISS. This was very unexpected but also very nice. I need to go wash up as we are leaving for a royal visit for the next 2 weeks, I will write the 28th when we get home.
February 28th dear diary we arrived home about noon and immediately got sent to the clinic there had been a major accident in the stable we ended up sending 4 stable hands through with broken bones along with 4 who needed stitches and patched up over a dozen minor injuries. What happened was several horses had gotten out and the door to the stable is broken, they were rounding up the horses when the door came completely off and spooked the horses so there were 8 major and over a dozen minor injuries.
We were busy until after super and mom reheated it for us and Manny who had stayed late to repair the door. It wasn't his fault the door broke it has been broken for several days and dad forgot to put in a fixit ticket, it was only a matter of time before it fell off. Signing off I am exhausted, and my head is pounding I think I have a migraine.
March 1st dear diary I am feeling better today I did have a migraine last night but with a shot and some rest am doing better. I spent today Helping mom and Elsie get the mom's runs set up in the rabbit zone we have 12 pregnant females right now yes, all our girls will have babies. We are excited this should be our best year, yet the Retired Bunnies will live at auntie Beth's cottage and 2 at her school. I then helped Elsie at the clinic we saw several people from yesterday for re checks and then saw auntie Beth who sliced her thumb open on a broken piece of glass we had dad take her through she needed 3 stitches.
All the stable hands who were injured will heal with time although 2 will need to be off for several months with a fractured back for 1 and a severely broken arm for the other. We have promised them all time off with pay and dad said he will never forget to make a fixit ticket again. We now have a rule that if we see anything big wrong, we immediately make an urgent fixit request. Manny will check his box Daily now instead of every other day. Signing off mom is taking Elsie and I out for girls' night.
March 3rd dear diary today Emily and Elizabeth turned 6 they celebrated with a big dinner party that included 20 other princesses. They had so much fun their big gifts are A baking Lesson with a famous pastry chef For Elizabeth and Emily our bookworm and dancer received a bunch of dance books and a studio to practice her dancing in. she discovered dance several weeks ago and is crazy for it. All of us girls have very different interest, I like crafts my midwife work and history, Elsie is mad about horses her nurse work and in her downtime loves to write. Emily is our dancer and book worm, and she also loves to scrapbook, while Elizabeth is our baker cake decorator and the little mommy. Gwen is our artist and animal lover while Georgia is a sports mad girl who also loves beadwork.
We are all different, but we love each other this has been brought to light by an argent comment I received when walking with Elsie the other day. I won't get into it but it was nasty. Signing off mom wants help with the sleepover guests.
March 4th We all had breakfast this morning before dad took us to visit a local farm where we got to feed animals and Gwen was allowed to feed a bum lamb. She loved this as like I said she is our animal crazy girl. We then went to a local museum for the opening of their kids wing today was Gwen's special day. We all went to her favorite restaurant for a late lunch before heading home. From now on we each get a special day once a month we do what that person wants then to eat at their favorite place. The 6th is Georgia's turn the 8th Emily's turn the 10th Elizabeth's the 12th Elsie's the 14th and the 16th mine. I will write the 6th as tomorrow is a busy midwife day, I am working a double every other day this month so will write on the in between days.
March 6th dear diary today was miss Georgia's special day we went to a Yensid eagles dazzle ball game then to royal prep flying derby race before having lunch. We ate at a local pizza place and then she got to get a new dazzle ball. She is nearly 3 and will be able to try junior dazzle ball next fall. We got home to 4 new litters of rabbit kittens 2 of mom's girls my favorite girl and Elsie's youngest girl all had 6 kittens they will be able to go to good homes in a few weeks. the other 8 will have theirs any day now. I need to sign off and go take a shower and wash my hair so that Lilly can braid it for me.
March 10th dear diary we have had a busy few days the 8th we had Emily's special day which was fun then yesterday I worked a double. Today was Elizabeth's special fun day. We went to a local French bakery for some lesson's followed by lunch. After lunch we went to a local doll museum. Then she went and designed her own special baby doll.
When we arrived home mom's other 2 girls one of my girls and 2 of Elsie's girls had each had 6 kittens. This leaves only 3 rabbits that haven't had their kittens. This has been an amazing year for our business. We have sold almost all the babies except 3 which went to a local children's home as house bunnies. Signing off mom wants Elsie and I to help clean the rabbit runs.
March 14th dear diary sorry for not writing but it's been a crazy few days we had our last 2 special days and the last 3 rabbits each had 4 kittens. These babies are going to the home of my friends Abby and Adair who want to breed rabbits as well so 4 of my females and 4 of Elsie's males are going to Adair then 4 of each to Abby the last 4 will be raised by Jade's cousin Luna. I worked every day this week as Amber is out indefinitely due to major back surgery. It could be 3 months before she can work again, I will write the 24th as mom has asked Elsie and I to attend a coronation of a new princess whose mom is a friend of mom's who just remarried 2 days ago.
March 24th dear diary we arrived home an hour ago to pure chaos as we had several injured kitchen workers due to a stove that malfunctioned. This was no one's fault it was old and the new one hadn't been delivered. We sent 8 through with 2nd and 3rd degree burns and treated a dozen more for minor burns. I am signing off until the 31st its going to be crazy between my midwife work and helping in the kitchen.
March 31st dear diary I haven't written due to dealing with the emergency from the other day. We still have people coming in each day for bandage changes. They will be paid while they recover but they will all be ok although Mrs. Lopart will have a few bad scars. She and Mrs. Garcia got back to work yesterday after a few days in the hospital. Signing off as it's easter and we have church and a huge feast to attend.
April 1st things are finally calmed down and I am back working for Violet instead of helping here. Today Sherman the shoemaker became a dad. And my dance instructors Maria and Oleg welcomed twins. We also saw a mom who will be giving up her baby to My friend Adair's family I better sign off mom just reminded me we are leaving for a wedding in our home village tomorrow I will write the 6th when we get home.
April 6th dear diary we got home late tonight as we got stuck in some yuk weather. And had to stay for several extra hours., when we got home mom had me go get a bath as I fell in the mud. It was such a fun trip and I got to see a close friend of mine be baptized into our childhood church. I am signing of my knee's are acting up and mom has put me on sofa rest until I see a specialist.
April 8th dear diary we spent yesterday seeing a specialist about my joints I have something called juvenal arthritis. This isn't a huge deal mom also was diagnosed with early arthritis at 13. We were given meds and a few pain cream samples. For now, I have to take an anti inflammatory medication daily till this flair settles. I worked for Violet today mainly in the office as Dorrie came home from a royal visit with a sprained ring finger and pinky. She is doing things I can't while I do the things she can't. signing off mom wants me to take it easy while we wait for the meds to start working.
April 10th dear diary sorry for not writing yesterday we had an emergency. Emily and Elizabeth both had Appendicitis and will be in the hospital for several days. I am taking a few days off to help with Gwen and Georgia so mom can stay at the hospital. Violet has said that family is more important then work right now, I ran Clinic as Elsie has a migraine. Lilly took care of her, and I had doc help me with several cuts and bruises. After this we had a quick late dinner with dad and then went and saw the girls, they both feel pretty rotten right now. Signing off I suspect Gwen and Georgia have ear infections.
April 15th dear diary I spent the last 5 days dealing with Georgia and Gwen's ear infections and helping with Emily and Elizabeth who came home the 13th. They are all doing better but all need rest and time to completely heal. I am signing off mom has Elsie and I going on several royal visits and a family reunion on Elsie's moms side.
