Hector and Roxanne were sitting in kitchen working on a late lunch when they heard a pop in the distance. They traded a look because no one knew where they were. Unless it was someone who was telling them that they caught the guy and Hector and Roxanne could move on with their lives and plan their wedding and start working a family to fill this house up with.

Hector and Roxanne smiled and stood. They made their way to the front of the house. They waited for the bell to go off because they didn't think that anyone would just walk into their home, but they were wrong.

They watched as the doorknob slowly turned and the door opened. They watched as a man walked in their home. Hector didn't know him, but the quick intake of Roxanne's breath had Hector knowing that she knew who he was. Hector reached for Roxanne's hand.

The man smiled at them. "Who are you?" Hector demanded.

The man looked at Roxanne. "Why don't you tell him?"

"He is Owen Macmillan. I know him from the war hero reunions. We used to play together as children," Roxanne said in a quiet voice.

"Right," Owen smiled.

Hector reached for his wand, but Owen pointed his wand at Hector. "I wouldn't," Owen waved his wand and took both wands. Owen pointed his wand at Roxanne. "Or I could kill her."

"Why are you trying to kill us?" Hector was trying to take Owen's wand off of Roxanne.

Owen laughed. "Because you are rich when it should have been me," Owen looked from Hector to Roxanne. "And you got a Weasley to marry you."

"Why should you be rich?" Roxanne asked.

"Because I'm a war hero's son," Owen looked back at Hector. "Not a Death Eater's son."

"My father was never a Death Eater," Hector said.

"Lies," Owen said.

"He made some mistakes when he was young, but he was never a Death Eater," Hector said. He remembered asking his father about his time in the war after his first year at Hogwarts. Blaise didn't leave anything out when he told Hector his story.

Owen's wand started to waver. "Then how did you get Roxanne Weasley?"

Hector and Roxanne traded a look. "We fell in love," Roxanne said.

"How much is he paying you to marry him?" Owen asked.

"Nothing," Roxanne said. They did talk about a pre-up because of who they were. They didn't think that they would never get divorced because they loved each other and has known each other since they were teenagers.

Owen laughed. "And why don't I believe you."

"You should because I have known Hector since we were teenagers before he was this rich." Roxanne tried to reason with him.

Owen laughed again. "You will say anything to get out of this. If you really love this man, you will step in front of him and take this spell…" Owen opened his mouth to say a spell as Roxanne jumped in front of Hector.

"No!" Hector shouted as Roxanne dropped in front of him. Hector bent down and felt for Roxanne's pulse and let out a breath as he could still feel it. Hector looked up at Owen. "You bastard," Hector was ready to jump up and take Owen out when he heard.

"I wouldn't. Remember that I could kill you both and make it look like you killed each other." Owen let out a laugh that Hector didn't like. Hector checked on Roxanne and found that she had a pulse. He looked up at Owen and over his shoulder Hector saw Al and Lavinia making their way over. All Hector had to do was keep him talking.

"Why do you care that Roxanne is marrying me?" He asked.

"Because this should be my happy ending. I should have married a Weasley," Owen glanced down at Roxanne.

"Why do you get a happy ending and not me?" Hector asked as he watched the auror team make their way closer.

"Your father fought on the wrong side of the war," Hector closed his eyes because he knew that Owen was right about that. "While my father did. I should have been the one to help Hugo Weasley start his company, not you or Scorpius Malfoy."

"Did you have the millions that it took?" Hector asked. He knew how much he invested in Hugo's dream. He was glad that it was paying off and how he got his own company off the ground with the help of Hugo and Scorpius.

"No," Owen mumbled.

"Hugo knew how much it was going to take and I was glad to put up my family's money to help him," Hector was hoping that Al and Lavinia would get here soon.

"Now you have more money than ever," Owen said.

"Yes, because my investment paid off and I've did good with my money," Hector said.

"And now you got a woman who doesn't care about your money," Owen said. Hector watched as Al took a step closer to Owen.

"Yes, but like Roxanne told you, we knew each other before I got all this money," Hector placed a hand on Roxanne to see that she was waking. He leaned down and kissed her forehead. "Stay down," he told her in a quiet voice. "Al and Lavinia are here." He felt Roxanne nod.

"I don't believe that," Owen said.

Hector could feel the anger rising in him. "Our cousins are married, and we met through them. I fell in love with her because she wanted nothing to do with me. She didn't care who I was if she could knock me off my broomstick." Hector felt like he was back in Hogwarts trying to win Roxanne over.

Owen laughed but before he could say anything, he grew stiff and fell on the ground. Al stood over him. "I couldn't listen to him anymore," Al smiled as tied Owen up.

"Me neither," Hector stood up. "We need to get Roxanne to St. Mungo's."

Al nodded and turned to another auror. "Bring in the med-witch," The auror nodded before running off. "How are you?"

"Good," Hector moved out of the way as the med-witch came in to look over Roxanne. Hector nodded. Hector watched as the med-witch called in another and they carried Roxanne out of the house. Hector was ready to follow them when Al stopped him.

"I'm going to need a statement from you before you go to the hospital," Hector nodded. He wanted to get this over with so he could sit by Roxanne's side as she woke.

Hector told him everything that happen from the moment that they heard the door opening, hoping that it was him and he had caught the bad guy to Al taking the man out. Al nodded as he wrote everything down. "Alright, you are free to go," Al said.

Hector ran out of the house and went to the hospital. It didn't take him long to find Roxanne because most of her family was there. Hector stopped when he saw the Weasley family. He didn't know what to say to them. He was the one that took Roxanne from them.

"Thank you for keeping a calm head," Hector looked up and saw Angelina standing in front of her. "I know my daughter and she could have been seriously hurt."

Hector nodded because he couldn't get the words, he wanted to say pass the lump in his throat. Angelina hugged him. Before he knew it, he was hugged by every Weasley and Potter there.

"She would like to see you," Fred said as he stepped out of Roxanne's room. Hector nodded as he let Molly Weasley go.

He made his way around his family and walked into the room. Roxanne was sitting up on the bed. She smiled at him and held out her hand for him. Hector made his way over to her, took her hand, and sat on the bed.

"Please never step in front of me again," Hector took her hand and raised it to his lips.

Roxanne narrowed her eyes at him. "I would do it again because I love you so damn much," Tears came to Roxanne eyes. "I can't lose you again."

Hector reached over and wiped a tear away. "I can't lose you again. I love you, Roxanne Weasley. I don't know how I would survive without you."

Roxanne gave a watery laugh. "It's a good thing that we are getting married."

"I would marry you tomorrow, but I have a feeling that the people out there would have something to say about it."

Roxanne laughed. "I'm sure your family wants to see you stand up at that alter too."

Hector rolled his eyes before leaning down and kissing Roxanne on the lips. "I don't care how as long as you are mine forever."

"Hey, that needs to stop, so I can get Roxanne's statement," Roxanne and Hector looked over to see Al standing in the doorway.

"Ha, ha," Roxanne laughed like it was a joke. "Go away, Al so I can continue to make out with my soon-to-husband."

"Sorry, boss's orders," Al smiled as he stepped in the room.

"You can tell Uncle Harry and Uncle Ron to shove it where the sun doesn't shine," Roxanne mumbled loud enough that Al and Hector heard it.

Al laughed. "I'm sure both would like that. They would tell me that I need your statement," Roxanne sighed and told Al what he wanted to know. After Roxanne's statement, Al smiled at his cousin. "All try to get the rest of the family out of here so you can get some rest," Roxanne saw the look in his eyes and knew that he was up to something. She didn't care if she got to keep Hector by her side.

"Thank you, Al," Roxanne said in a soft voice. She was glad that he was her cousin. Al gave her a quick nod before leaving the room. He closed the door behind him. They soon heard footsteps leaving the front of her room. Roxanne moved to one side of the bed to make room for Hector to lay next to her.

Hector lied by her and wrapped his arms her. They could be safe again without a mad man after them. They can start planning their wedding and the life they wanted together. Hector kissed the side of Roxanne's head. "I love you."

"I love you, too," Roxanne mumbled back to him.
