Okay, so while this isn't an actual chapter, there is a small sneak peek at an upcoming story that I've been working on for a while and obviously won't be out any time soon, but because I'm actually going to post the whole story when it's done all at once. Still, I've been so busy with life, school, and looking for a job, so things have been rough. I hope I can find time to get a chapter out for this story to go back to working on the commissions I got.

Okay, so I went back and fixed a lot of the grammar mistakes in all chapters and will be doing that in my other story, hopefully before the Grammarly premium runs out. by the way if you want to support me and get extra benefits from yours. I finally caved in and made a which means I'm going to update a lot more since I'm going to devote some of my dwindling free time to writing, so yeah.

Here are the links. They will also be in my profile. Just remove the spaces

Story

Crusch looked over the desert with keen eyes. Her domain was kept safe from the sandy dunes as the city was built on top of the natural lake. She had taken a break from her paperwork and marveled at the vast wasteland. It seemed to go on forever. She idly mused about how her green hair might get mistaken for a cactus or some other plant that grew in the desert.

"Felix, I'm heading out. You're in charge while I'm gone."

She didn't even wait for his answer. Trusting him to take care of everything until she got back. Existing her manor, she put on a cloak to hide her identity. She enjoyed seeing the people of the town she protected happy.

The way kids could just run around without worry. She was glad the other nobles did not abuse the power that came with governing a town in the middle of nowhere. For the most part, the city she was a part of was reasonably large but was also safe. The crime was low, and every day was peaceful.

Walking towards the market district, she saw how many people were out shopping today. The street was jam-packed today. Looking around, she saw the wifes trading and haggling for food they would cook today. She saw the traveling merchants sell exotic goods and other trinkets from faraway places.

"And if you ever think about coming this way ever again, your dead, ya hear me dead!"

Turning around, Crusch saw a man get thrown out of a bar. The man was only an inch taller than her. He had black hair and eyes too sharp to be from here, giving off this vibe that made her tense.

"ok, chill; no need to make such a big deal. How was I supposed to know that was your daughter?"

Frowning at the comment, she saw a small girl who looked no older than 10 walks up to the man.

"Do you ever not make a scene whenever I take my eyes off you for even a second."

"Ouch, you're extra harsh today."

"If someone made my job easier, I wouldn't have to be so snappy, I suppose."

The little girl wore a strange dress. It was poofy with a pink base and yellow highlights.
