Halloween Ball
After sticking up for Karen, Alex asks her to the Halloween Ball
It was almost Halloween I was finishing harvesting my last few fall crops. "Phew this is hard work oh well its worth," I said as I looked in my wallet finding bills bulging out of it. I was pretty wealthy in some ways but not others I was lucky to have good friends a house and (a pretty face to talk to that meaning Karen). "Ruff Ruff" "Hello Molly how ya doing girl?" I said to my dog as she jumped up and licked me. "Hello Alex how are you doing today?" said The Mayor asked. "Not too bad so what's up?" I asked him. "In a few days it's the Halloween Ball it's held every Halloween in the village". "Cool so I guess I have to ask a girl to go with me right?" "Yes but you also have to wear a costume". "Is Rick going to be there?" I asked. "No he suddenly decided to leave the village," said the mayor. A few days later it was Halloween I had gotten my costume and I got one for Karen too I was just on my way to ask her to go with me. "Hi Karen" "Oh hi Alex what's up?" "Nothing, I was wondering if you would like to go to the Halloween Ball with me I got us costumes already" "Sure I'd love to go with you so who are we going as?" Karen asked. "Gambit and Rogue" I said. It was six o'clock when I got to Karen's house I got to admit I actually looked like Gambit I had his jacket and staff and his gloves. "Hey Karen you ready to go (I chose Rogue because the costume is nice and tight)?" I asked her. "Yup let's head to Doug's place" she said. As we walked by we saw Stu and May to of the children in the village. "Hi Alex, Hi Karen Trick or Treat" They said together. I pulled out to bags of candy and handed one to each of them. We got to Doug's place and it was rocking they were playing Sum 41's Phat lip. "Hey Karen, Alex over here" said Kai who was sitting with Popuri. "Who are you guys supposed to be?" asked Karen. "Well I am Kid Rock and Popuri is Gwen Stefani" said Kai. "O.K. we're gonna slow things down a bit now" said Doug who was the d.j. . "May I have this dance Rogue" I asked Karen. "Oh Gambit yes let's dance," said Karen. We danced and danced we were there until it was 1o'clock in the morning. "O.K. guys you have to go unless you're going to stay at the Inn up stairs tonight" Doug told us. Why not I thought to myself I could pay for it "Sure Doug we'll take the X-men suite" I told him. "O.K." said Doug as he handed me the key to the room. We went upstairs till we got to the room and opened it, it had X-men wall paper a hot tub that looked like the thing they put wolverine in to get his adamantium skeleton. "Hey Gambit why don't you join me on the bed" said Karen in a seducing tone. "Why not Mon cheri" I said like Gambit. The next thing I knew it was morning and Karen was lying next to me with one of her hands on my chest. I have it good I thought to myself as I fell back asleep.
