Everyone else who's either just discovering this story, its prequel, or wondering what will happen next, don't worry because we're getting there. Just hang in there, I promise it will be worth it. Chapter 113: 8 Weeks and 3 Days (Again)

Normal P.O.V.

"Dobe, will you please settle down?! You're giving me a headache," A frustrated Sasuke growled as he pinched the bridge of his nose.

"I'm sorry, babe, but I can't help it! You're pregnant with our child, again, except this time I get to be there! It's physically impossible to relax!"

Naruto's comment made Sasuke flinch. The raven's ears drooped when he realized that the blond fox was right. This would be his first pregnancy with Naruto, and it made him nervous. A thousand thoughts ran through his head while the blond continued to talk animatedly in the background while he tried to get dressed.

"Sasuke?" The omega jumped and turned around to face his worried alpha, "You alright, babe?"

"Yeah... yeah, I'm fine. I was just... a little distracted is all," he quietly answered as he threw a t-shirt over his head.

Sensing his mate's fears and anxieties, Naruto walked over and wrapped his arms around the smaller male and pulled Sasuke backwards into his chest. The raven stood still as he inhaled his alpha's strong, cinnamon and vanilla scent until he practically melted into those strong, tanned, safe arms.

"Better?" Naruto asked as he kissed Sasuke's crown. The raven nodded, "Good. Don't stress yourself out too much. I read it wasn't good for the baby,"

"Hn. I see you've been reading more baby books. Did Master Jiraiya and Kakashi give them to you?"

"And don't forget Sakura-chan. I already promised her that she could be its aunt/ godmother when its born,"

"You know that, although your excited about this, you should be careful telling everyone. Don't want the wrong person discovering what's supposed to be our secret,"

"Don't worry, Sasuke. We're stronger than almost anything that comes our way,"

"True, but with me being pregnant, my power if halved. I have to conserve it for our kits to grow strong and healthy,"

"That's fine. I'll be strong enough for the both of us. Now come on, Granny Tsunade and Sakura-chan are waiting on us. I hoped you remembered to drink your 24 oz of water before we leave. Wouldn't want the two of them getting angry at me for not reminding you,"

Sasuke smirked as he reluctantly detached himself and finished getting dressed. Afterwards, they put on their coats, since it was still chilly and wintery outside, locked their door, and headed towards the hospital.

"Glad to see the two of you on time for this," Tsunade teased as she approached them, "Did you remind Sasuke to drink water and have a full bladder before coming here?"

"Of course. He's ready to go whenever you are," Naruto smiled as he gave a thumbs-up.

"Good. Alright Uchiha, go ahead and lay down on the examination table,"

Sasuke nodded before doing as he was told. Sakura stood behind a mouse woman with short brown hair and small dark eyes with a wide grin hidden behind her hands.

She must be the ultrasound technician Lady Tsunade told me about when I made the appointment. Sasuke thought as he laid down.

"Alright Sasuke-kun, please pull your shirt up to your chest and pull your pants down just below your hip line,"

The two women waited for him to follow orders before the technician spoke. The nervous raven flinched when he saw the mouse woman spread blue gel on top of the machine's scanner.

"Don't worry, the gel will be warm. Now, I'm going to apply some pressure to your abdomen. Please let me know If I'm being too rough." Sasuke nodded and took a breath as he watched the girl make more preparations, "Are you ready to hear your baby?"

The raven nodded before the woman went to work on his stomach. He slightly hissed as she pressed a little too hard in a couple of places. Along the way, she mumbled "sorry" but continued until she found what she was looking for: the fetus. The thundering sound filled the room to everyone's excitement.

"What... is... that sound...?" Naruto asked as he cautiously approached Sasuke's sound to get a better look.

The raven gently smiled as he held out his hand, "It's a heartbeat, their heartbeat,"

The blond's eyes widen in shock as his tails vigorously wagged behind him.

"Wow, I never knew there was something other than Sasuke-kun to keep Naruto quiet," Sakura giggled.

"Do I hear a heartbeat in there?!"

Suddenly, the door swung opened as Jiraiya and Iruka entered the room. But they were stopped by the angry blond Slug Queen herself.

"What did I say about bursting into hospital rooms without permission, especially theirs? And Iruka, I expected better from you," she scolded.

"My dear sweet Tsunade, you can't expect us to not to want to see and hear our great-grand and grandchild, can you. It's not fair that only you four get to share this exciting moment. And besides, if we weren't supposed to be here, then Naruto wouldn't have told us the appointment time and date," The Toad Sage smirked as he walked further into the ultrasound room.

Tsunade, Sakura, and Sasuke glared at a nervous Naruto.

"I guess I do talk a lot, huh?" he chuckled as he scratched the back of his head.

Tsunade rolled her eyes as she turned her glare towards Iruka.

The dolphin man squeaked as he apologetically bowed, "I'm sorry, milady. As you know, Master Jiraiya can be a bit... persuasive. But I'm not completely innocent. Curiosity got the better of me too,"

"Oh, don't be hard on the guy, Tsunade. We've all been waiting for this moment. So, stop sulking and let us have our moment. Now, I wanna see what's going on,"

"Fine, but remember, not of this leaves this room. Are we clear?"

"Crystal,"

"I'm sorry to interrupt, but I think I found something else," The technician said as she continued to move the scanner around.

"What is it?" Sakura asked as everyone got closer to the screen.

"Well, when I was taking pictures of the first fetus, I noticed there was another one,"

"What?!" Everyone shouted.

"You mean that I'm pregnant with,"

"Twins! Yes, that is correct. See?" Everyone watched closely as she circled and pointed to the two small fetuses. "Oh, and just so you know, you're about 8 weeks and 3 days along. I'll print the pictures out for you to keep. The rest will go into your chart,"

"Wow! I wasn't expecting that! Congratulations you two!" Iruka smiled.

Everyone stared at the couple for a few moments until Sasuke regained his composure first.

"Well, that was... I mean... twins huh? That's an interesting development, right Naruto?" All eyes turned towards the still, wide eyed male with his jaw dropped. "Naruto? Are you alright?"

When the blond didn't say anything, Sasuke shook his hand until he felt the heavy male fall to the floor with his eyes rolled back into his head.

"Naruto?!" Sakura and Sasuke yelled.

Tsunade rushed over to the blond and felt for a pulse. When she did, the Slug Queen sighed and smirked as she lifted him onto her shoulders, "Don't worry. He's just passed out. I'll put him in my office until he comes too. Iruka, be a dear and bring ice to my office. He's going to have a nasty headache when he wakes up. Sakura, when you finish up here, please escort everyone to my office as well, and bring some aspirin,"

And with that, everyone watched as Tsunade carried Naruto away with smiles on their faces. Everyone knew that they'd have their hands full with one Uchiha-Uzumaki child, but not two. Luckily, everyone made mental notes to reenforce the village to withstand what's to come.

It didn't take too long for the blond to wake up. However, when he did wake up, he was told the news again, since he thought it was a dream, and they had to stop him from fainting again. Unfortunately, once his shock was over, the group had to stop him from squeezing Sasuke to death and practically flooding Tsunade's office when he received the ultrasound pictures. Jiraiya offered to buy the alpha a round of drinks to celebrate, against everyone's disagreement. But the moment didn't last long.

During the celebration, an ANBU appeared and told them that they were summoned to the Hokage tower. Knowing that whatever Kakashi and Shikamaru needed was important, everyone quickly rushed to the tower.

"We're, Kakashi-sensei. What's the problem?" a panicked Naruto asked.

Th silver wolf and deer were shocked as they watched the room fill up.

"Oh, I wasn't expecting so any people to be here at once. We were interested in Sasuke's ultrasound," Kakashi plainly explained.

"Oh well if that's it, then you'll never believe that our boys are having twins! I offered to take Naruto out for drinks, but everyone else was against it. Can you believe it? I mean, why should we stop them from having fun before they actually become parents," Jiraiya said with a fake pout.

"Twins, you say? Well, that is quite the development. I'm impressed you two, way to go," Kakashi said with a thumbs-up and a smile under his mask.

"Wait a second. You mean to tell us that we rushed all the way here just to give you a report about my ultrasound?"

"You know that's not all we called you for. Although, your ultrasound was one of the biggest parts of it," Shikamaru sighed as he leaned his hip against Kakashi's desk. "We brought you in here to discuss safety measures concerning your twins. Man, I still can't believe it. How troublesome,"

"You can't believe it? Naruto fainted, twice!" Sakura giggled as she held up two fingers.

"Hey! You would have too if you were having twins!"

"And that fact is why we need to take this matter seriously," Kakashi said before he stood up, rounded his desk, and leaned back with his arms folded, "Naruto, Sasuke, I know I don't need to tell you how serious your situation is. You two are the powerhouses of our village. In a sense, we would not be able to fully defend ourselves without the both of you and Sakura. And now that Sasuke is pregnant, and half of his power will be used towards your twins, it's up to you, Naruto, to be the main protector for us all,"

"What about me? Hello, aren't you technically forgetting about me?" Sakura asked.

"You know you shouldn't be on the frontlines, young lady. Do you not remember the rules I taught you?"

"Of course, milady. But what if something happens during Sasuke-kun's pregnancy? He will be in no condition to fight,"

"Who said I couldn't fight?"

"I did," Tsunade glared as she stepped to the boy with her arms crossed. "Sasuke, you are pregnant with Naruto and your twins. Especially with you being a male omega, you're considered a high-risk case. Your body has to learn to adapt to your new situation while also learn to channel your energy and chakra towards the babies. I'm sorry, son, but going on missions and fighting unless you must is out of the question,"

"And, let's not forget about your nontreaty. You may be considered a war hero in some places and to some people, but in most cases, you're still the same deranged Sasuke Uchiha that you created. I know you don't like being weak, but you need to be careful from this moment forward; for both Naruto, your babies, and your own sake. Do you understand?"

A frustrated Sasuke clenched his teeth and dug his claws into his palms until they bled. But through it all, the feline knew he couldn't argue with them, so he bit his tongue and nodded.

"I'm glad we're on the same page,"

"I will also be putting Sakura in charge of your pregnancy. Of course, I'll be helping along the way, but if anything happens, do not hesitate to ask her," Tsunade added.

"It will be an honor," the pink bunny bowed with a smile.

"Great! Now, I know you might be tired, so why don't you head home and get some rest. I promise to have Naruto home by dinner time,"

The raven grumbled but did as he was told. Before he left, Naruto gave him a kiss goodbye and made the same promise as their former sensei. Unfortunately, it did very little to ease the frustration. Luckily, later that night when Naruto returned home, they had a long talk about things Sasuke could do to get around his circumstances, and everything Naruto promised to do to keep his mate happy. Well, as happy as he can with a hormonal, feisty, kitty.
