[Back in Sokovia, the twins along with Taskmaster meet with Ultron in an empty church.]
Wanda Maximoff: Talk. And if you are wasting our time...
"You're accent is hot." Tracy Davis said, just as most agreed with her. While others frowned at her.
Ultron: Did you know this church is in the exact center of the city? The elders decreed it so that everyone could be equally close to God. I like that. The geometry of belief. [Ultron is sat in a chair facing away from them, a cloth draped over him] You're wondering why you two can't look inside my head.
Wanda Maximoff: Sometimes it's hard. But sooner or later, every man shows himself. [Taskmaster nods in agreement with Wanda]
"You two can read minds?" Draco asked trying not to panic but his voice betrayed him.
Dumbledore strengths his occlumency shields, he smiled serenely thinking both of them couldn't get inside his mind.
Unknowingly, he didn't notice Wanda or Taskmaster(inside his mask) were both smirking as if they ate a canary.
[Ultron stands and faces them, revealing his new body. Wanda briefly looks shocked]
Ultron: Oh, I'm sure they do. But you needed something more than a man. That's why you let Stark take the scepter.
Wanda Maximoff: I didn't expect... But I saw Stark's fear, I knew it would control him, make him self-destruct.
Many glared at Wanda but then they turned away at the instant when they saw Taskmaster's knife being wandless displayed in a threatening manner.
Ultron: Everyone creates the thing they dread. Men of peace create engines of war, invaders create avengers, people create...smaller people? Uh...children! I lost the word there. Children. Designed to supplant them, to help them...end.
Some couldn't help to snicker at the children part bit.
Wanda Maximoff: Is that why you've come? To end the Avengers?
Ultron: I've come to save the world. But also… yeah. [In the Sokovia base.] We'll move out right away. This is a start, but there's something we need to begin the real work.
Wanda Maximoff: [referring to Ultron's bots] All of these are...
Ultron: Me. I have what the Avengers never will. Harmony. They're discordant, disconnected. Stark's already got them turning on each other. And when you get inside the rest of their heads...
Pietro Maximoff: Everyone's plan is not to kill them.
Ultron: And make them martyrs? You need patience. Need to see the big picture.
Pietro Maximoff: I don't see the big picture, I have a little picture. I take it out and look at it every day.
Ultron: You lost your parents in the bombings. I've seen the records.
Pietro Maximoff: The records are not the picture.
Wanda Maximoff: Pietro.
Ultron: No, please.
Pietro Maximoff: We were ten years old, having dinner, the four of us. When the first shell hits, two floors below, it makes a hole in the floor. It's big. Our parents go in, and the whole building starts coming apart. I grab her, roll under the bed and the second shell hits. But, it doesn't go off. It just... sits there in the rubble, three feet from our faces. And on the side of the shell is painted one word...
Everyone's eyes widen in shock due to what they just heard. Pietro reopen wounds that he tried his best to comfort his sister who was silently crying.
Wanda Maximoff: Stark.
Tony looks down for he failed once more.
Many of the witches and wizards looked at Tony in disbelief and disgust.
Pietro Maximoff: We were trapped for two days.
Wanda Maximoff: Every effort to save us, every shift in the bricks, I think, "This will set it off." We wait for two days for Tony Stark to kill us.
Everyone looked at the twins with sympathy. Them siding with Ultron and their awesome powers made it easy to forget why they had done it. They were was orphans traumatized by their experience. Anyone would. And Ultron had duped them, just like Hydra had.
Some looked at Wanda in pity. Many thought Maximoff at a young age shouldn't have gone to through that in losing their parents or feel unsafe unknowingly waiting for their deaths.
Pietro Maximoff: I know what they are.
Ultron: What about you?
Taskmaster: I promised to help them.[His voice turn into anger but through his mask his eyes glowed in shade of green.] I have a debt to settle with Natasha Romanoff.
Many of the Avengers looked at Taskmaster and wondered who was he? Natasha knows she has many enemies but how he sounded was like someone who lost someone close to him.
"I've got you." Clint tells her.
Ultron: I wondered why only you three survived Strucker's experiments. Now I don't. We will make it right. [to Pietro] You and I can hurt them. [to Wanda and Taskmaster] But you will tear them apart, from the inside.
The three looked pleased for this is something they wanted to do in order to bring the avengers down.
The Avengers became tense but ready to stop the three.
The wizards and witches looked weary at both groups for they know their seems to have bad blood between them.
[Back at the Avengers headquarters]
Maria Hill: He's all over the globe. Robotics labs, weapons facilities, jet propulsion labs, reports of a metal man, or men, coming in and emptying the place.
Steve Rogers: Fatalities?
Maria Hill: Only when engaged. Mostly guys left in a fugue state going on about old memories, worst fears, and something too fast to see.
Steve Rogers: Maximoffs. Well, that makes sense he'd go to them, they have someone in common.
Maria Hill: Not anymore.
[She hands Steve a tablet showing photo of Strucker's dead body with the word PEACE written in blood on the wall next to him]
"Oh God!" Exclaimed Hermione.
Many of the smaller children turned away from the screen as they were comforted by the nearest older student and adult.
Clint Barton: [Barton's talking on his cell phone] That's a negative. I answer to you. Yes, ma'am. [Steve interrupts him]
Steve Rogers: Barton, we might have something.
Clint Barton: Gotta go.
Steve Rogers: Who was that?
Clint Barton: Girlfriend. [after Steve has gathered the rest of the team he shows them the photo of Strucker's body]
"Big, big liar." Rhodes said to Clint who shook his head.
"I thought you said you didn't have a girlfriend?" Asked a confused Neville along with other's who were also wondering if he does or doesn't.
The other Avengers were looking at Clint and Natasha slightly grins.
" I don't." Clint winks at Natasha for she is the only in the know.
Tony Stark: What's this?
Steve Rogers: A message. Ultron killed Strucker.
Tony Stark: And he did a Banksy at the crime scene, just for us.
Natasha Romanoff: This is a smokescreen. Why send a message when you've just given a speech?
Steve Rogers: Strucker knew something that Ultron wanted us to miss.
Natasha Romanoff: Yeah, I bet he... [looks at the computer monitor] Yep. Everything we had on Strucker has been erased.
"Oh shit!"
"Steve, Tony said a bad word."
Steve just groans.
The others were snickering at Steve's dilemma.
Tony Stark: Not everything.
[The team go through the physical files they have on Strucker]
Steve Rogers: Known associates. Well, Strucker had a lot of friends.
Bruce Banner: Well, these people are all horrible.
Tony Stark: Wait. I know that guy. [Banner passes him the photo he was looking at] From back in the day. He operates off the African coast, black market arms. [Steve gives him an accusing look] There are conventions, alright? You meet people, I didn't sell him anything. [we see the photo is of a man named Ulysses Klaue] He was talking about finding something new, a game changer, it was all very "Ahab."
Thor: [Thor points to the scar on the back of Klaue's neck] What's this?
Tony Stark: Uh, it's a tattoo. I don't think he had it...
Thor: No, those are tattoos, this is a brand.
Natasha unknowingly touched her brand.
Bruce Banner: [Banner identifies the brand on Klaue's neck on the computer]Oh, yeah. It's a word in an African dialect meaning thief, in a much less friendly way.
Steve Rogers: What dialect?
Bruce Banner: Wakanada...? Wa...Wa...Wakanda.
"I'm guessing even 7 PhDs can't help you pronounce Wakanda." Tony joked and everyone chuckled.
"Don't make me angry." Bruce muttered.
"What's Wakanda?" Ron asked rather loudly.
"It's a place. Ugh, you should at least open a book once in a while Ronald and read it instead of drooling on it." Hermione tells Ron who in return glares at her.
The Slytherin students snickers.
Tony Stark: If this guy got out of Wakanda with some of their trade goods...
Steve Rogers: I thought your father said he got the last of it?
Bruce Banner: I don't follow. What comes out of Wakanda?
Tony Stark: [looking at Steve's shield]The strongest metal on earth.
"Woah!"
"We should go there Forge!"
"Right behind you Gred!"
"Absolutely not," Molly tells them by putting stop to their plans.
Both twins gave out a sad sigh.
Bill looked at his mother was distracted he whispered to the twins," I'll take you two to Wakanda during the break."
Both twins gave to their older brother a blinding smile of happiness.
"Me too," Charlie whispers to the three of them.
Steve Rogers: [to Stark] Where is this guy now?
[Salvage Yard, African Coast; Klaue is talking on the phone in his office]
Ulysses Klaue: Don't tell me your man swindled you. I sent you six short range heat seekers and got a boat full of rusted parts. Now, you will make it right, or the next missile I send you will come very much faster. [he ends the call and connects to another call] Now, minister, where were we? [suddenly the lights go out causing a commotion in the salvage yard. The twins and Taskmaster enter Klaue's office]Yeah. The enhanced. Strucker's prize pupils. [picks up a dish of candies from his desk] Want a candy? Oh, sorry to hear about Strucker. But then, he knew what kind of world he was helping create. Human life, not a growth market. [the three look at each other] You...you didn't know? Is this your first time intimidating someone? I'm afraid that I'm not that afraid.
Wanda Maximoff: Everybody's afraid of something.
Ulysses Klaue: Cuttlefish. Deep sea fish. They make lights. disco lights. Whoom, whoom, whoom! to hypnotize their prey, then whoom! I saw a documentary, it was terrifying. [Pietro speeds over to pick up a candy from Klaue's desk, and Klaue jerks at the sudden movement]
Pietro grins at his sister who in return smiled at her brother's antics.
Some chuckled at Klaue's startled expression.
Ulysses Klaue: So if you're going to fiddle with my brain, and make me see a giant cuttlefish, then I know you don't do business, and I know you're not in charge, and I only deal with the man in charge.
[As if on cue, Ultron breaks through the glass window and knocks down Klaue]
Ultron: There is no "man" in charge. Let's talk business. [Klaue gives Ultron some vibranium from his stash] Upon this rock I will build my church. Vibranium.
Ulysses Klaue: You know, it came at great personal cost. It's worth billions.
The wizards and witches looked shocked at hearing the price of the metal cost.
[Ultron chuckles and remotely puts money in Klaue's bank account]
Ultron: Now, so are you. It's all under your dummy holdings? Finance is so weird. But I always say, "Keep your friends rich and your enemies rich, and wait to find out which is which."
"You used to say that, right?" Rhodes asked Tony.
"When I was irresponsible about my weapons, yeah. But I'm not going to be the 'Merchant of Death' anymore." Tony said firmly.
Ulysses Klaue: Stark.
Ultron: What?
Ulysses Klaue: Tony Stark used to say that...to me. You're one of his.
Some in the Great Hall send accusing looks at Stark.
Ultron: What?! I'm not...! [he grabs Klaue] I'm not. You think I'm one of Stark's puppets, his hollow men? I mean look at me, do I look like Iron Man? Stark is [he chops off Klaue's arm]
Some gasped, others cringed, many looked away, and there were those who couldn't keep their food and barfed.
"That was…disturbing," Blaise spoke out.
"So he makes you a rich man and cuts off your arm two seconds later. What a guy!" Tony muttered trying to lighten the mood.
I'm sorry. I am sor-- Ooh, I'm sure that's going to be okay. I'm sorry, it's just I don't understand. Don't compare me with Stark! It's a thing with me. Stark is, he's a sickness!
[Stark appears in his Iron Man suit]
Tony Stark: Ahh, Junior. [He lands, and Thor and Steve come up behind him]You're gonna break your old man's heart.
Ultron: If I have to.
Thor: We don't have to break anything.
Ultron: Clearly you've never made an omelet.
Many laugh at that.
Tony Stark: He beat me by one second.
Pietro Maximoff: Ah, this is funny, Mr. Stark. It's what, comfortable? Like old times?
Tony Stark: This was never my life.
Steve Rogers: [to the twins and Taskmaster] You two can still walk away from this.
Wanda Maximoff: Oh, we will.
Steve Rogers: I know you've suffered.
Ultron: Uuughh! Captain America. God's righteous man, pretending you could live without a war. I can't physically throw up in my mouth, but...
Thor: If you believe in peace, then let us keep it.
Ultron: I think you're confusing peace with quiet.
Many couldn't help to think for a villainous robot he did have great comebacks.
Tony Stark: Yuh-huh. What's the Vibranium for?
Ultron: I'm glad you asked that, because I wanted to take this time to explain my evil plan--
[Ultron attacks Stark, and his drones drop down to attack Steve and Thor. The Twins and Taskmaster join the fight.]
Ulysses Klaue: [as everyone else fights]Shoot them!
Klaue's Mercenary: Which ones?
Ulysses Klaue: All of them!
Klaue's Mercenary: [to his men] Move, move, move!
[The rest of the team, including Natasha and Barton now battle it out with Ultron's drones, Klaue's men, and the twins along with Taskmaster as Stark fights with Ultron]
[Thor threw Mjolnir at Pietro who dodged and looked at it as it continued moving even from his slow motion perspective and grabbed it, only to be sent flying with it. He crashed to the ground.]
"Not worthy." Thor said and everyone chuckled a bit.
"Good thing he wasn't faster." Vision said, "Or his arm could have come off from holding onto Mjolnir."
Everyone winced including Pietro who was rubbing his arm with lot of affection at imagining the sight.
"Yeah, but we don't really follow the laws of Physics that much." Tony reminded.
Steve Rogers: [after knocking down Pietro] Stay down, kid![Taskmaster fights Steve until he decides to use his power to send Steve flying.]
Ultron: [through a drone, to Wanda and Taskmaster] It's time for some mind games.
[Banner hears the commotion as he waits in the Quinjet]
Bruce Banner: Guys, is this a Code Green?
[Wanda uses her power on Thor then Steve comes up to him]
Steve Rogers: Thor! Status?
Thor: The girl tried to warp my mind. Take special care, I doubt a human could keep her at bay. Fortunately, I am mighty. [The scene transitions, and Thor seems himself at a party on Asgard]
Many laugh including the Maximoff twins and Taskmaster at the irony.
Steve looks seriously at Thor who in return looked sheepishly and embarrassed.
[Taskmaster then uses her power on Steve. Wanda uses it on Natasha]
Ultron: [As he packs up the Vibranium.]This is going very well.
[Wanda tries to sneak up behind Barton, but he quickly turns and puts an electric arrow on her forehead]
Clint Barton: I've done the whole mind control thing. Not a fan. [just then Pietro speeds in, knocks down Barton, picks up Wanda along with Taskmaster and speeds off] Yeah, you better run. [we see Steve dropping his helmet and walking off; to the team] Whoever's standing, we gotta move! Guys?
[Natasha sees herself in the facility where young girls are being taught ballet]
Ballet Instructor: [to the students]Again.
Natasha Romanoff: You'll break them.
Madame B: Only the breakable ones. You are made of marble. We'll celebrate after the graduation ceremony.
Natasha closed her eyes, years worth of unpleasant memories came flooding back to her.
Many didn't understand why they were watching a ballet school and why this graduation ceremony so important?
Natasha Romanoff: What if I fail? [we see a younger Natasha being trained to be an assassin]
Madame B: You never fail.
[Steve sees himself in a 1940's dance hall. Peggy Carter comes up to him]
Peggy Carter: Are you ready for our dance?
Steve looks down sadly knowing that life has been closed shut to him.
[Back to Thor's vision in Asgard. He's watching at his surroundings when Heimdall, eyes milky white, spots him.]
Heimdall: Is it him? Is that the first son of Odin?
Thor: Heimdall, your eyes?!
Heimdall: Oh, they see everything. They see you leading us to Hel. Wake up! [he then starts to strangle Thor]
[Back to Steve's vision with Peggy in the dance hall]
Peggy Carter: The war's over, Steve. We can go home. Imagine it! [suddenly the dance hall is empty. Steve is standing alone.]
Everyone wondered if Ultron was right about what he said of Steve. That he couldn't live without a war. Steve only needed to find what he could do outside of fighting. Soul searching basically.
Thor: I can still save you.
Heimdall: We are all dead. Can you not see? [Thor pushes Heimdall from him]You're a destroyer, Odinson. See where your power leads. [Electricity hits Thor and spikes around the room, destroying things]
[Back to Natasha's vision where she is standing next to Madame B in front of a door.]
Madame B: That door has been shut closed.[Madame B opens it for Natasha to step in[Natasha is laying down in a medical stretcher taken somewhere by two nurses]
Nurse 1: Stay with us.
[Natasha's face can be seem she's in discomfort but always looking at down]
[The scenery changes to a big flash of light looking down at Natasha who is in and out of conscience. There's a doctor and other nurses helping.]
Doctor: We may proceed.
[Then, Natasha is given a medical oxygen mask. The Doctor is seen using a medical knife and blood is seen. Glimpses are shown with a baby covered in blood but also crying. Natasha is seeing the baby and smiles.]
Natasha: Sirius
[Madame B reveals her face to Natasha.]
[ The scene changes to a room with a crestfallen Clint who looked teary.]
Clint:Hey Nat.
Natasha: Sirius. Where's Sirius?
Clint: I'm sorry, Nat. I'm so sorry.
Natasha: No, I saw him. I saw my baby!
Clint: He wasn't breathing.
Natasha: I heard him crying. I heard it. You think I wouldn't know my own child's crying. It's like me asking the same if you didn't know Cooper's crying.
Clint: Of course, I would know but Sirius didn't make it.
Natasha: She was there!
Clint: Who was?
Natasha: She took him. [Natasha in her desperation she took off her IV]
Clint: Natasha stop. [Trying to stop her from leaving]
[Nurses came in to the room also to hold her down and inject her]
Natasha: Noo!
[The scene changes to Natasha and Clint sitting down looking at footage and documents from the hospital.]
Clint: I'm sorry, Nat. We checked and there's no sign of tampering.
Natasha : I refuse to believe my child is dead.[Natasha is silently crying and being comforted by Clint.]
[ Natasha is seen being trained by Madame B to be an assassin but a sound of a baby is heard in one of the doors]
Madame B: Sloppy. Pretending to fail. The ceremony is necessary for you to take your place in the world.
Natasha Romanoff: I have no place in the world.
Madame B: Exactly.
Many of of the mothers were crying for Natasha.
"You had a child?" Asked a bewildered Tony.
Natasha nods for this is one of those happy and saddest memories she ever had.
The rest of the Avengers were shocked to learn their team member gave birth to a child. They were skeptical if it's imaginary or there really was someone who took the child.
Now, Clint seeing through his the eyes of his sister in but in blood might be correct.
"Nat, I'm sorry. I should've known that there might be a chance that they knew of your circumstances and this time we will look for proof at Sirius existence."
"He might…-"
"Don't say that. We will find answers."
"Don't count out us out." Tony tells them as he points to the group who in return nods.
"If Hydra or any part of the organization is part of you child's kidnapping we will find Sirius."
Natasha gave them a teary eyed smile,"Thank you."
Harry Potter was enraged by those who had the girls trained as killers but to see Natasha suffer and brainwashed in believing herself unimportant but also these people might've had her child kidnapped.
Remus and Sirius looking at his godson's reaction towards the redhead we're leaving them without a doubt that she might be important part of Harry's life but they feel like a puzzle was missing to be able to see clearly the bigger picture but her naming her child Sirius might be a coincidence. Could she and Harry know each other in the future?
Even a certain headmaster was also having the same conclusion.
Wanda might've left Natasha in limbo of her worst memories but she she felt bad for seeing the memories made it hard especially when said woman lost her child just like she lost her parents.
Pietro seeing his sister's dilemma also couldn't help to feel remorse for the spy.
Taskmaster seeing his enemy in this state didn't bring him joy but now he felt the need to also look up at this Sirius and end him. His kindred's blood has been spilled now Natasha kin's blood will be spilled.
[As Wanda suffers in pain from the electric arrow Barton had hit her with]
Pietro Maximoff: What can I do?
Taskmaster: Do you need my help?
Wanda Maximoff: No, it- Ah, it hurts.
Pietro Maximoff: I'm gonna kill him. I'll be right back.
Wanda Maximoff: No. I'm over it. I want...I want to finish the plan. [looking at the Quinjet where Banner is waiting] I want the big one.
"Oh shit!" Some muttered and Bruce knew he was in trouble.
Even if the deaths of the people weren't her intention, that was what had happened. And she was responsible.
[Stark corners Ultron in the shipyard]
Ultron: Ah, the Vibranium's getting away.
Tony Stark: And you're not going anywhere.
Ultron: Of course not, I'm already there. You'll catch on. But first, you might need to catch Dr. Banner.
[Stark angrily shoots Ultron and flies off to find Banner who's turned in to the Hulk and ready to wreak havoc on the nearest city]
Tony Stark: News or footage, keyword: Hulk. [he sees news footage of Hulk destroying the city] Natasha, I could really use a lullaby.
[Barton is sat with Natasha who's still stuck in her vision]
Clint Barton: Well, that's not gonna happen. Not for a while. The whole team is down, you got no back up here.
Tony Stark: I'm calling in VERONICA. [as Hulk is wreaking havoc on the nearest city Stark Tony comes brings out his Hulkbuster armor to stop him] Alright everybody, stand down! [to Hulk] You listening? That little witch is messing with your mind. You're stronger than her, you're smarter than her, you're Bruce Banner.
"I'm guessing that's why he temporarily overpowered me. Because I mentioned puny Banner." Thor muttered to himself to lighten his mood.
The wizards and witches were wondering what Thor meant by that comment.
"Tony by now you should realize the big guy doesn't like to be called by me."
"That might've been the best thing I could come with at that precise moment."
[Hulk roars in anger]
Tony Stark: Right, right, right! Don't mention puny Banner. [Hulk throws a car at Stark and attacks him] Okay. [they start fighting, throwing each other around] In the back? Dick move, Banner. [they battle it out more but Stark is struggling to beat Hulk] VERONICA, gimme a hand. [as Hulk destroyed one of Stark's arms, VERONICA sends in a new one and Stark uses it to repeatedly punch Hulk] Go to sleep, go to sleep, go to sleep!
Some chuckled.
[picking up Hulk] Okay, pal, we're gonna get you out of town. [as they head towards a building] No, not that way, not that way! [they crash through the building] Come on, Bruce! You gotta work with me! [Hulk continues to battle with him; as he stops an elevator, to the people inside] Everybody out! Going to get ugly! [after he knocks down Hulk] I'm sorry. [Hulk attacks Stark and pulls out parts of the Hulkbuster armor] Damage report. [the damaged computer buzzes a reply] That's comprehensive. Show me something. [the computer shows him the building ahead is clear of civilians] How quickly can we buy this building? [Stark drops Hulk through the building completely destroying it; at the same time the army arrives to intervene, as Hulk comes out of Wanda's mind-hold Stark knocks him out cold]
Everyone in the Great Hall exhale out a big sigh of relief including Bruce.
Here it is! Tbh, I wrote this yesterday up to today. Phew …
Anyways, I added the baby scene for Sirius(Not dogfather Sirius) being born. At the time Clint like any person might've thought Natasha hearing her child died can make a person react horribly especially with her condition of being sterilized but having a miracle child who "didn't make it" can be heartbreaking and more so when there wasn't anything out of the ordinary that some third party was involved.
Next chapter we will see Natasha and Harry interact well Harry's future self and Natasha's past self . Time travel is confusing… basically the first time they meet.
