Chapter 8: The Arrival Of Project Gestalt.

(In the Elmore Shopping Mall)

As Hank was battling both the AAHW and The Nexus Core a giant beast falls from the roof of the shopping mall.

"What the?"

As the dust settles down a giant beast that was taller than a Mag Agent stands up after falling through the roof and roars like a dinosaur from Jurassic Park, Hank then pulls wipes the yellow and red blood off of both of his swords and charged at the Gestalt, knowing that he'll have no remorse whatsoever.

(Inside the hardware store)

As Deimos was building his new weapon that the Tinkerer from Annex (If you played arena mode you would get the name) teached him a roar was heard outside the mall.

"What was that?" Larry asked.

Then Deimos punched a hole through the metal door and peeked outside to see Project Gestalt outside the mall.

'Great, I knew that day would come,' Deimos said to himself.

"Is there a back exit here?" Deimos asked.

"Well there is one right here but it's locked, and without the keys it's hopeless to open it," Larry said.

"Well then, I'm just going to have to use brute force then."

Then Deimos went to the back rooms to see the door there that has a lock on it, but since Deimos hands are made of stone he smashes the lock and breaks down the door.

"Come on guys, let's get out of here," Deimos told them.

(Meanwhile Hank)

"Come on you beast!" Hank yelled.

Then Project Gestalt swinged it's hands towards Hank, but Hank jumped over the hand and began firing his M-10 at Project Gestalt, Project Gestalt on the other hand tanked the M-10 SMG and swings it's arms again but this time with a ground pound, Hank runs to the otherside of the mall where after his M-10 was out of bullets he threw his gun at Gestalt and ran to the top floor of the mall, as he was doing that he was stopped by three Nexus Core Agents and two ATP Soldats.

"We found the target, fire at-"

Then Project Gestalt destroys the bridge of the mall and kills the Agents and the Soldats in the process and attempts to grab Hank, but he dodges it and jumps down the top floor of the mall and runs to pick up Rob who was still unconscious.

As He ran outside the mall he saw Deimos running towards Hank.

"So how did that go for you?" Hank asked Deimos.

"Well good news I managed to save a bunch of people inside the hardware store, but the bad news is-"

"Yeah, Yeah, I know what it is," Hank said.

Then Project Gestalt comes out of the mall and roars.

"Well we better get going," Deimos said as he picked up Rob.

Then a Bus comes out of the first in the distance and stops immediately after he reached Deimos and Hank, the bus door then opens revealing Sanford driving the bus.

"Get in you two!"

Then as both Deimos and Hank entered, they saw the TAWOG Gang inside the bus.

"Sanford, you must be joking," Deimos said.

"They said that they wanted to come, so it's not my fault," said Sanford.

Deimos then sighed and put Rob next to Gumball and Darwin who were sitting in the front of the bus.

As Sanford closed the door and drove off Deimos and Hank sat down in the bus looking outside to see the blue sky and such, then Deimos felt a slight touch by someone and when he turned to see who it was, it was Nicole Watterson.

"Well it seems like you were having a bad day," Nicole told Deimos.

"Yeah, I guess."

"Want to talk about it?" Nicole asked Deimos.

"Well…"

"WHAT IS THAT!" Darwin yelled.

Then Deimos looked outside to see Gestalt running after the bus along with vehicles of both the AAHW and the Nexus Core as well.

"I might explain that later, but for now, the madness it is," Deimos said.

(MADNESS: Project Nexus OST- AAHW, by Cheshyre plays)

Then Deimos and Hank went through the window and saw three AAHW Agents and two ATP Engineers on top of the bus with their Nightsticks, Tec-9, and an M16 Rifle as well.

"There's nowhere to hide, we're never gonna stop hunting you Hank!"

Then Hank giggles.

"It's that time again!"

"Open fire!"

Then as the Engineers open fire on Hank manages to dodge the bullets due to his quick feet and begins firing at the Engineers.

Deimos meanwhile was summoning stone spikes and pillars out of the ground to stop or slow down the vehicles the AAHW and the Nexus Core are chasing them with, as Deimos was summoning the stone pillar a Half Mag Agent that was wearing an agent suit and a mask that looked like the mask of 2BDammed teleports onto the bus and punches Deimos off the bus, As Deimos was getting up from the ground he saw the Half Mag Agent again and then sighed.

"Of course, The Retainer," Deimos said.

Then as Deimos got up and summoned his stone sword, The Retainer then teleported behind him and punched him in the back launching into the bus window, as the TAWOG Gang looked at Deimos in shock The Retainer teleported inside the bus and grabbed Deimos by the neck.

"Sanford, need your help."

Then Sanford put a device and set it to autopilot and got out of the driver chair, as he did so he pulled out his hook and his Desert Eagle and charges at The Retainer, The Retainer on the other hand saw Sanford and dropped Deimos and teleported behind Sanford was where he tried to attack him only for him to get stabbed by Deimos stone sword in the head.

"Sanford are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm ok."

Then The Retainer pulls the stone sword out of his head and throws it at Sanford and Deimos, but the two dodge the stone sword and begin firing at The Retainer.

Meanwhile on top of the bus, Hank was in a pickle of now the ATP Soldats in terms of their performance in the battle that Hank now needed a solution to get rid of them.

"I got it!" Hank said.

Then Hank peaked into the bus to see that The Retainer was battling Sanford and Deimos.

"Great, I guess I have to go with a second strategy, all out madness."

Then Hank pulled out a sticky bomb and thew it at the ATP Soldats and pressed the detenator, killing ⅔ of the Soldats in the process.

"You son of a Hank!" The Soldat Yelled.

Then the Soldat charged at Hank and tackled him on the ground and began punching him multiple times with the baton until Hank grabbed the baton and threw him off the bus.

"That should give you a lesson."

Inside the bus The Retainer was still battling both Deimos and Sanford when suddenly Hank came in and shot The Retainer in the chest multiple times until The Retainer teleports behind them and punches only two out of the bus, Hank on the other hand dodged the punch and begins attacking The Retainer by stabbing him in the head.

"What are we going to do?" Gumball yelled as he panicked.

Darwin then slaps Gumball.

"We need to fight fire with fire!" Darwin yelled.

"Don't kids, it's a suicide mission for that!" Hank yelled as he was dodging the punches from The Retainer.

Then Carrie possesses The Retainer and jumps The Retainer out of the bus.

"You sure she's gonna be alright?" Hank asked Darwin.

"I'm right here you know," Carrie said.

"..."

Then Deimos and Sanford get teleported inside the bus.

"Well at least the doc helped us with something," Deimos told Sanford.

"I know right?"

"Wait, how…what?" Gumball said in confusion and in question.

"It's a long story."

Then The Retainer teleports inside the bus, scaring the kids in the process.

"FINE! If I can't take you, then I'll take three of the kids then," The Retainer said.

"Oh no you don't!" Sanford said.

As Sanford charged at him The Retainer then punched him to Hank and Deimos, knocking the three out in the process.

(Music Stops)

"Now let's see, which child should I steal?" The Retainer said.

"NO!"

Then The Retainer looks behind him to see Nicole attempting to dropkick him but The Retainer grabs her leg and slams her to the ground causing her to go unconscious.

"..."

As The Retainer looks around to see which one is perfect for him, as he is looking around he sees Gumball shaking in fear while behind Darwin who was also in fear as well.

"You two are perfect."

The Retainer then grabs both Gumball and Darwin while they are screaming for help and teleports away.

"KIDS NO!" Nicole yelled.

As Sanford, Deimos, and Hank were waking up they saw Nicole crying because of Gumball and Darwin getting taken by The Retainer.

"I think we should leave the mother alone," Sanford said.

"Yeah I think so too," Deimos said.

"Well we lost two kids, so what?" Hank said.

"So what? We have to report this to Christoff otherwise he's gonna question us about why Nicole is crying," Sanford said.

"Uhh hello is anyone there in your mind of yours, you basically let in children on this bus," Deimos said.

"Well it's not my fault, the kids wanted to go and I didn't want to leave them behind, and plus Christoff said that he was going to the supermarket so that way he can make them something," Sanford told Deimos.

As the argument happens Hank then sighed and went on the driver side of the bus and turned off the autopilot and continued driving, ignoring what's going on behind him.

(Somewhere in Nevada)

As The Retainer teleports inside the room filled with tested tubes and a bunch of technology that Elmore couldn't achieved, he silences both Gumball and Darwin who were still screaming for help, as The Retainer opened the metal door and walked down the hall Gumball looked to his left to see a bunch of ATP Engineers and Soldats on his left and looked away in fear while Darwin looked on his left his left to see the same ones that Gumball has as well, as they both looked away in fear The Retainer entered a dark room and sat them down and tied them to a chair.

"You two stay here, The Employers want to have a word with you," The Retainer told the two.

As The Retainer left the room Gumball and Darwin were now in a silent dark room.

"Who's The Employers?" Darwin whispered to Gumball.

"I don't know but this is beginning to scare me more than anything," Gumball whispered back.

"Just act natural, maybe they won't know."

Then the lights turned on, and once it did four shadows creatures came out of the ground and revealed their red, blue, purple or magenta, and white eyes, as they arose out of the ground and showed their shadowy flames Gumball and Darwin were now no longer safe from The Employers.

'Please don't kill us, we have more to do in our lives.'

Then one of them came close to Gumball's face and analyzed him as he was looking away in fear.

'Hmm, So that's Gumball huh? Very…Interesting,' The Auditor thought.

Then The Auditor analyzes Darwin who was also in fear the same way as Gumball as well.

'If I thought fish with legs were ludicrous this one just made my day,' The Auditor also thought to himself.

Then Gumball was the first to question.

"Who are you three?" Gumball asked in fear.

"Who are we? Heh, We are, The Employers," The Auditor said.

"The Employers?" Gumball questions.

"Well yeah, we're The Employers," The Auditor said.

"Well to us it makes it sound like you look like the big bosses then looking like some employee at a market center."

"What is he talking about?" The Conductor asked.

"They're just speaking gibberish," The Auditor said.

"Hey, we don't speak gibberish, we speak totally fine," Darwin said.

"SILENCE!"

Then Gumball and Darwin looked at them in more fear while silent at the same time.

"Now where was I? Oh right, I want to know where Hank and his crew are?"

"Oh simple, there in the forest," Gumball said.

Darwin looked at Gumball in a disappointing face of 'I'm so done with you.'

"What?"

"You basically told them where they are at," Darwin yelled.

"WHAT!"

"Wow, I-I suspected that he was going to be harder than that, but thank you, I guess."

As The Employer teleported away Gumball then was beginning to cry knowing that he just doomed Elmore all together.

"It's all my fault, I fell for the trap and now Elmore is DOOMED!" Gumball said as he was crying.

Darwin then slaps him in the face with his tongue.

"We gotta find a way out!" Darwin yelled.

"But how? They tied us into this chair," Gumball said.

Then Darwin unties himself out of the chair and gets out of it and unties the same for Gumball as well.

"Come on, we have to find a way out of here!"

As Gumball opens the door he sees two Agents standing next to the door while talking to each other.

"Close the door Darwin," Gumball told Darwin.

As Darwin was pressing on the close button multiple times the two Agents saw Gumball and Darwin.

"Hey!"

Then as the metal door closes Gubmall was now panicking a lot due to their death being around the corner, as Darwin was looking around the place he saw a vent that was not screwed in properly.

"Take the vent!" Darwin told Gumball.

As both Gumball and Darwin were opening the vent the metal door opened revealing both the Agents and the Engineers with Pistols and Rifles in their hands.

"We found the kids and they seem to be escaping open fire!"

The Agents and Engineers then were firing at Gumball and Darwin as they were escaping through the vents.

"They're escaping through the vents, do not let them escape!" The Agent ordered the others.

The Engineers and the Agent agree and follow them through the vent.

(Meanwhile inside the shack)

"The Employers must be now using them for an interrogation of where they are," 2BDammed said.

"By any chance do you think that you can try to at least pull them from Nevada and bring them to you?" Deimos asked 2BDammed.

"I can, but that would also mean I need to protect them from the AAHW otherwise they won't last for a few minutes in Nevada," 2BDammed said.

"Well we better be quick, otherwise someone will-"

"Spot you?"

Then as they turned around, they saw a man who was wearing a sheriff's hat along with a police body armor vest while having a crew of men with rifles, bats, and wrenches outside the shack.

"Well ifin' it ain't Saynford, Deimos, and Hank, ah' would 'ave suspected y'all t' be in Nevada than in Elmore, California," the man in the hat said.

Then as Hank squinted to see who it was he gave out a grunt and said.

"Sheriff and his MERC's."

And that's about it, I wanted to put the Sheriff in this story because i wanted him to be relevant than forgotten and reason why I put the Project Nexus Sheriff in there is because anyone who's a Madness fan would understand why, anyways that's it for today's story more will come in the future and hope you enjoy ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)
