F3: Welcome to chapter 23 of Rina's story. Harriet has been made general and now Robyn and Rina have a plan for capturing Hector. RWBY is owned by Rooster Teeth. Alice Rosetta-Tesla Mirai and Diana Mirai are owned by Decode9. With that said Let's Get Started.
Volume 4-23 Green: Critical Descion (Part 3)
It was about an hour after the conversation with Robyn and the rest of the council members as Harriet was being escorted by the colonel to her new office within the military base. Both of them remained silent throughout this as the now former ace ops member thoughts ran through her mind especially of what she'll have to do in this new role as general of an entire military.
Fifteen minutes of silence they came to section that she was well familiar with too many times to count. In front of them was the door that once belonged to Ironwoods office. The door opened as it was nearly empty excluding the large desk and a computer that occupied it. Behind the desk is a full view that let her view the entirety of Atlas.
Their weren't that many books on the shelves as she figured the Ironwood wasn't much of a reader.
"If you like we can have some of your things brought up to you from your home." Bradly stated.
"Thank you. Some of my books would be nice." Harriet replied.
"Also you might want to slip into your new uniform. It's in the closet right there. I've made sure that it's to your size as well." Bradly added as he took his leave the door closing behind him.
Harriet headed toward the closet he mentioned and opened it as she saw a uniform was waiting for her as it was wrapped in a plastic bag. She took the plastic bag and went to change into it. After changing into it she looked herself over in a full length mirror making sure everything fit.
Her outfit now consists of a white long-sleeved coat with a dark blue clasp around the center waist holding it shut along side a red jeweled brooch on the collar. The coat ran to her ankles and the sleeves are split from shoulder to elbow. She also wears a white pleated sleeveless blouse with a dark blue waistcoat. A pair of white trousers with dark blue garters alongside a pair of gray thigh boots with black detailing around the knees. She also wears a pair of black forearm length gloves with gray trimmed cuffs.
To complete the look she added the badge above her left breast making it look prominate and her weapon pack. She did make sure to keep it not so tight incase she needed to remove it.
"Okay Harriet... this wasn't what you were expecting but you're here now and you'll just have to live with it." She said to herself but she didn't have time to celebrate her promotion as their was a task at hand.
One of the soldiers entered and called out to her.
"General Bree. Their's a call for you from a Miss Hill." The soldier stated.
"Patch it to my scroll." She ordered.
"Yes ma'am." He said as the soldier left the office. Not even a minute later her scroll rang as she answered it.
"Miss Hill. I presume you've call to give me an answer right." Harriet replied.
"Yeah I spoke to Rina and she decided to cooperate." Robyn said.
"Good to hear. I'll give Cynthia a call and have her meet up with us along with the sisters." Harriet added.
"Rina wanted to do something before we meet up. Then you'll tell us about this plan of yours when we meet." Robyn added.
"I'll explain everything when we all meet. Trust me." Harriet said as Robyn hung up.
Harriet only hoped that her plan would work and that they'll catch Hector without a hitch as she decide to go over the plan in her head.

Much to Rinas dislike the two of them were back in Atlas again but this time Rina was leading the way well knowing where to go.
"Okay so where exactly are we going? This feels like it a wild goose chase." Robyn asked from behind.
"Yeah I know where to go. Beside I think someone else will be their too if I'm right." Rina said as the two of them pressed on.
Ten minutes later they arrived at their destination which kinda surprised Robyn at first. It was the Atlas General Hospital.
"Atlas General Hospital? Why here?" She asked again.
"There's someone I want to see how she's doing. She's one that got attacked by Hector. I wanted to see how she's doing if they'll let me." Rina replied.
Robyn nodded as they both entered the hospital. Their were some people sitting around waiting to be treated by the doctors and nurses. Though they also noticed some people waiting to see others that were already admitted into the hospital.
"Wow. This place is packed as normal." Robyn said.
"Yeah looks like it." Rina added as she looked around and she saw someone rather familiar. It was Cynthia sitting alongside Marina, and Vixie each at the older womans sides.
"Hey Cynthia." Rina replied getting all of their attention as Cynthia smiled at her.
"Oh Rina I didn't know you were visiting." Cynthia said before seeing Robyn next to her too.
"Ah and hello again Robyn." She added.
"Yeah Rina wanted to come here to visit someone not sure who though." Robyn said.
Cynthia looked at Rina for a moment "Thank you for coming. They should let me know when we are ready to see her." Cynthia said.
Luckily her question was answered as a doctor came out to greet them.
"Cynthia and company. She's ready to see you." The doctor said.
"If I may. Miss Trill here is wanting to see her as well if that is okay with you doctor." Cynthia replied. The doctor was a little skeptic about it but he eventually nodded to it.
"As long as she respects the rules here." The doctor stated as the four of them followed the doctor as Robyn stayed behind.
They followed the doctor for a while as they then came to the same room that Poppi was in.
He opened the door as it revealed Poppi still in the hospital gown as she was reading a book before taking a glance to her side and seeing the four of them.
"Hey boss, girls." Poppi said though her voice sounded tiring.
"How you feeling dear?" Cynthia asked almost motherly like.
"I'm alive to say the least. Mom came by a while ago to check on me after calming me down about losing my leg. She said she would make arrangements with Mr. Polendina to have me fitted with a prosthetic." Poppi said though the last name made Rina flinch for a second.
"You know that costs lien. Though since you are one of my students I'd be more than happy to help with the expenses." Cynthia added.
"You'll have to talk with my mom about that you know." Poppi stated back.
"I'll do that." Cynthia said.
That was when Marina spoke up "So when are you getting out of here? I'm sure it must be a pain staying here all the time." She said.
"They're keeping me for about four more days and run some tests making sure that I've healed properly. After all they did say I lost some blood during the ambush so theirs that. Plus I haven't been able to get around so much, more than likely they'll suggest physical therapy for me too." Poppi added.
"Well I guess it's better than nothing." Vixie said.
Poppi smiled back before looking right at Rina who had still remained silent about until the panther faunus spoke up.
"Hey you good over their. You're being oddly quiet you know." Poppi said getting her attention.
"Huh?! Oh yeah I'm good." Rina said quickly but Poppi quickly spotted the tone of voice.
"Doesn't sound like it. Whenever one of these two have a problem and not tell me means there is a problem." Poppi added driving her point home.
Rina sighed as she spoke "Does this Mr. Polendina have a daughter name Penny?" She asked.
"I believe so. Wasn't she at the tournament in the finals." Marina said.
"Yeah and I was her opponent and... I think I did more than hurt her cause I couldn't fine her after the tournament." Rina replied.
"I see... no wonder he's been worried as of late that Penny didn't return from the tournament." Vixie stated.
"I'm not sure what happened afterwards. Everything was happening so fast that I got out of their was fast as I could." Rina stated.
"That mean's she missing. I do hope that whoever found her will take care of her till she can be returned." Marina replied which made Rina wonder why.
"What do you mean by that?" Rina asked back.
"Oh you didn't know. Penny is an android. From what he told us that she was actually human but their was an accident that nearly killed her. So using his know how around technology he fixed her up into an android." Cynthia stated.
"Honestly that does explain how tough she was during the tournament." Rina replied.
"Yeah he did a great job with her though." Vixie stated.
"Though we should leave and let you rest a bit. You look tired." Cynthia said.
Poppi layed back down as the four of them left the room and let her sleep.
"Well it's good to know that she's doing better. Hopefully she'll recover." Vixie stated.
"She'll bounce back no problem." Marina added.
The four of them walked out from the door and met back up with Robyn who was waiting patiently for them to return.
"So how is she doing? Your teammate?" Robyn asked.
"They're keeping her over for a few more days to monitor her and she's going getting fitted with a prosthetic too. More than likely she'll need physical therapy after she gets out." Vixie replied.
"Good to here. Though we better head to the military base and met up with Harriet. We don't want to keep her waiting." Robyn said.
They all were in agreement and left the hospital as they headed toward their destination.

It took them only fifteen minutes to cross the city and make it to the military base as they the guards noticed them coming toward the entrance.
"State your business." The guards stated.
"We're here to see the general. She's expecting us." Cynthia stated.
"Very well. If she's expecting you then head inside. She'll meet you in the converance room." The guard said as they allowed them to pass before the guards informed the general about the arrivals.
Cynthia lead them through the military base as they found the converance where they waited for the general to come.
Meanwhile in her office Harriet was going over some papers that were brought to her to sign. Some were approving leave of absence while overs were approvals for future projects that needed to be investigated first before getting approved.
Suddenly the phone buzzed as the a voice came through it.
"General Bree. Mrs. Cynthia and company has arrived and are waiting for you in the converance room." The guards voice stated.
"Thank you. I'll be right their." Harriet replied as she exited her office before walking toward where she is needed.
It took her only ten minute to arrive at the room where Cynthia and everyone else was waiting. She opened the door and just like the guard said they were waiting for her to arrive.
"General Bree... the outfit suits you nicely." Cynthia commented but Harriet ignored it as she looked toward Rina.
"I wish you weren't involved in this but are you sure you want to go through with this. Last chance to back out." Harriet replied.
"I'm not backing out of this. Robyn has a friend in trouble and I'm going to do what I can to help." Rina said.
"Very well. Let us go over the plan. First we need to figure out a destination to set up the trade. Not to mention to make sure we can set up an ambush for him as well." Harriet replied.
"I was thinking of that on the way here. Their is a warehouse that's been abandoned for a while here in Atlas. We can use that to set up the trade plus with the buildings Cynthia can setup the ambush without much issue." Robyn replied.
"Perfect. Robyn I want you to make the call and set it up. When she makes this call I need everyone to be silent when she does this okay." Harriet replied.
"I'll take this outside just incase." Robyn said she pulled out her scroll and walked out of the room to make the call.
Making sure she was a few feet away from the door Robyn made the call to Hector even though she was rather relucent too but someone's life was in danger.
The scroll rang but didn't take long for the other line to pick up.
"So I take it you came to a decision then?" Hectors voice asked.
"I want to know that Fiona is alive first before I give you my answer." Robyn ordered.
"I figured you would want that first so I took the liberty by sending you a photo of her just so you know that she is alive." Hector stated.
Robyn checked her scroll and much to her surprise a picture of Fiona was sent though she was rather beaten up.
"Satisfied now." He said his voice sounding almost condensating.
Robyn sighed slightly before giving her answer "I'll do the trade. Their's an old warehouse in Atlas on Cardith Street. We'll trade their." Robyn replied.
"You truly do have a cold heart Robyn. Trading a life for another. Besides I'm doing you a favor. That girl would've stolen from you out of house and home and you'll have to shut down. So I'll be taking her off your hands and giving her to a... proper caretaker if you know what I mean." Hector stated.
"Bastard! You're planning on giving her to Jacque Schnee aren't you! He'll only work her to death!" She shouted.
"That's the idea. I truly hope you can live with this knowing that you sent someone to die. Meet me their in one hour and not a second later." Hector said as the line went dead.
She growled before shoving her scroll back into her pocket and then headed back into the room.
"We got one hour. Not a whole lot of time to waste." Robyn said.
"What he say?" Rina asked.
"Pretty much what you confirmed with me yesterday. He's working with Jacque Schnee but worse he's not only planning on heading you over to him but more than likely put you in the mines and work you like a work horse." Robyn replied.
"Probably just want to get rid of me that way than kill me himself." Rina spat.
"It's about a half hour walk from here to the warehouse in Atlas that you spoke about. Did he sound suspicious to our plan?" Harriet asked.
"Not from the sounds of it which is good on our part. Not sure how long that'll last though." Robyn said with worry.
"Don't worry. Once you have Fiona and he has Rina we'll jump in and take him by surprise. Then we'll have him in custody." Cynthia replied.
"And Jacque?" Rina questioned.
"He'll most likely deny ever working with him which will be expected from him. So that angle will be pointless to go after him." Vixie answered firmly.
"I'll leave everything to you. Cynthia you let me know the moment you have him in custody and I'll have my team swarm in. Okay." Harriet replied.
"Of course general." Cynthia said as Harriet sighed.
"Still getting used to being called that. Hasn't exactly sunk in yet." Harriet stated.
"It'll sink in eventually just give it some time." Cynthia said.
"We got an hour. Let's get a move on." Robyn replied as everyone left the room while Harriet decided to patrol the grounds of the academy hoping the everything turns out well for all of them.

Cynthia and the sisters separated as they headed toward the warehouse while Robyn and Rina decided to kill some time before the meeting and some lunch was in order.
The two of them headed toward a joint that Diana shown her a while back as the two of them were enjoying.
"Where'd you find this place?" Robyn asked.
"Actually Diana showed me. I was kinda hungry after doing all that job searching and I just happen to bump into her and she offered to treat me to lunch." Rina answered taking a bite of her meal.
"Well that was rather nice of her to do so." Robyn said taking a sip of her drink but then noticed slightly that Rinas hand shook almost as if she was nervous about what was going to happen to her when they meet up with Hector.
"Honestly... I'm kinda... terrified at this whole thing. I mean what if something goes wrong and they can't get to me in time." Rina said.
Robyn put her drink down a moment before putting her hands onto Rinas as she could for sure feel them shaking.
"Trust me everything is going to be fine. Once this is done we'll capture him and we both get to move on." Robyn replied.
"Yeah..." Rina said looking down at her food and figured that she was done with it for the time being as she got up from her seat.
"Let me go and wash off first then we'll head their." Rina said heading toward the bathroom.
Robyn looked at her when she walked away and it was still bugging her that she basically had to give her up or a friend that she treats like a daughter would end up killed. It frustrated her that the glass in her hand slightly cracked from her grip.
Only a few minutes later Rina reappeared "Ready if you are." She said with an odd smile but went unnoticed by Robyn as the two of the left the resteraunt and began the long tredge to the warehouse.
About another thirty minutes later Robyn and Rina came to the warehouse and just like Robyn described it was rather run down like it hasn't been used for decades. She took in a breath of air before letting it out slowly as the two of them proceed inside.
It was barely lit due to the location but it still had some power to it to power the emerency lights. Inside the warehouse it was huge just from the size of it almost like it was used for something a long time ago. They came to large opening and in front of them was Hector sitting in a metal chair with Fiona on her knees beside him.
He looked at the two of them and smiled.
"Well... looks like you actually showed. Good. Now let's get this over with. I really don't have a lot of time you know." Hector replied impatiently.
"What's the matter? Too eager to get back to your clients with your prize." Robyn said.
"Are you trying to be funny? Cause your humor is somewhat lacking." Hector added.
"First. Why did you go after that girl you put in the hospital? What was the point of that?" Robyn asked.
"Simple. I don't like people snooping around and getting curious. Once I tagged her with a hexagram I knew eventually she would want to come after me for either payback on her mother or to expose me to who I was and working for. Only if I actually killed the little kitten from the start." Hector said which made Rina's fist tighten.
"Now let's get down to business. Instead of deciding of who to send first we'll each send at the same time that way we're not bickering over it." Hector said as he dragged Fiona to her feet and shoved her forward.
"Get going!" He shouted his voice echoing.
Robyn looked toward Rina as she gave her a confident look as she nodded and walked toward Fiona. Fiona and Rina met in the center before passing each other but Rina gave her a quick glance before giving her a wink almost encouraging her that things will be okay.
Once Fiona was close to Robyn she immediately engolfed her in an embrace.
"I got you. You're safe now." Robyn said.
He grabbed hold of Rina roughly by her arms "Jacque is going to love you when we get back to the mansion you piece of filth." Hector spat.
Suddenly there was a small cry coming from outside the warehouse as the upper windows broke as something sharp came through the glass and hit the concrete floor. It was a kunai with some kind a paper tag on it and it was lit like a fuse.
"It's a bomb!" Robyn shouted as she wasn't expecting this. The kunai exploded into smoke giving time for Hector to run out of the warehouse with Rina in tow escaping the scene completely.
Once the smoke cleared Robyn saw the two sisters seemingly dog piled onto each other completely missing their target by a mile. This did not settle with Robyn very well.
"You idoits! I thought you said you had a plan! Now look what you've-"
"Settle down Miss Hill. This is a different plan." Cynthia said as she came into view along with... Rina?
"Huh? Um... but I just.. how did... what the?" Robyn said confusingly.
"It's fine boss. Cynthia just filled me in on the plan. Oh isn't he going to get a rude surprise." Rina said with a chuckle.
"Their's an old saying amongst the ninja in my academy. 'Alway keep your second ace hidden'." Cynthia quoted.
"But when did you.." Robyn said then a thought came to her head.
[One Hour Ago]
"I'll take this outside just incase." Robyn said as she pulled out her scroll and walked out of the room to make the call.
Once Robyn had left Cynthia spoke up "The plan that Robyn has will not work so we're going to need a back up plan just incase this goes south and I know just who this'll go." Cynthia stated.
"Okay shoot." Rina said.
"We'll have someone I know swap places with you that way you can avoid any unnessecary dangers." Cynthia stated.
"You sure that'll work?" Harriet asked.
"No first plan survives first contact. Rina I need you to take Robyn to a resteraunt and that's where we'll make the swap." She said.
"Alright. I know just a place. There's a burger joint that Diana took me to. We'll meet up and swap." Rina replied.
"Good." Cynthia finished just as Robyn came back in.
[Thirty Minutes Ago]
Saying that she needed to wash up was a perfect cover as she headed toward the bathroom though she didn't know who she was switching places with.
"Psst. Over here." A familiar voice stated as she turned toward the window and saw Gavrail slipping through the window.
"Can you fit through their?" She asked.
"Yeah but how are you going to... swap with me." Rina said and it was quickly answered as Gavrail touched her head with her right hand and concentrated and just in a few minutes Gavrail skin rippled and turned into Rina complete with all her features.
"Now get going. Meet you in a few." Gavrail said as she left the bathroom as Rina while the real Rina slipped through the window and exited the resteraunt.
[Present]
"Really? You guys swapped. Why wasn't I let in on this?" Robyn asked.
"Sorry we needed it to look like you were giving the real Rina to him. My apologies on that." The older woman stated.
"Than those two and that exploding bomb was... all a setup for him to get away with whoever he has with him." Robyn said.
"Correct." Vixie stated.
"I think he should be finding out anytime now." Marina said with a big grin on her face.
Outside on the street Hector was running faster than he'd every has and with his prize in tow he was most certainly going to get paid no doubt about it. He stopped making sure he wasn't followed as he has his targets wrists bound by a zip tie.
"Once I hand you over to Jacque you'll be in for a world of hurt. As for me I'll be swimming in lien that I'll be out of this dump. Who knows maybe make my way to Mistral and see what damage I can do their." Hector said laughing hysterically.
Rina's head was facing the ground as she looked like she was crying a moment.
"Oh quit your crying girl. Your as good... as..." Hector said listening a little more as those 'cries' as actually laughter as Rina burst out laughing.
"What's so damn funny!? Are you asking to die early!?" He shouted as he went for his sword.
"No... it's just I can't believe how stupid you are. Thinking you've won when I reality..." Rina paused before lifting her head and stared at him with soul piercing blue eyes her smile becoming sickening wide.
"You've already lost." She said. He stepped a few feet away from her not even knowing what he was looking as her body rippled revealing not who he wanted.
In a show of strength she easily broke the zip ties around her wrists with near ease as she walked toward him. His spine shivered like he was staring right at death itself as he back away everytime she stepped toward him.
"W-Who are you!?" He shouted.
"Oh me... you might say... I'm the girlfriend of the one you put in the hospital!" She shouted as she charged at him and she knew even without a weapon she can certainly take him. He unsheathed his sword and went to slice at her but her nimble body dodged it effortlessly jumping over him. She got behind him and sweeped his legs out from under him making him fall on his back.
He tried to get up from the fall but Gavrail recovered quicker as she then proceed to wrap her legs around his neck in an attempt to choke him out seeing him struggle to breath before beating on his head with her fists.
"That's enough Gavrail!" Cynthia ordered and immediately Gavrail retreated. He hacked and cough trying to get air back into his lungs but before he could make a move Rina fired webbing from her palms onto his wrists and legs as she made sure to make them thick enough so couldn't escape.
"Serves you right." Rina said crossing her arms as Cynthia made the call to Harriet and in ten minutes time thanks to their transports they got their and arrested Hector as they loaded him into the transport.
"That's another criminal off the streets. I wish to extend my thanks to the Stealth Corp for making this possible." Harriet thanked.
"Oh it was nothing. Just say that you'll owe me one." Cynthia replied.
"Honestly with how everything went today I just want to go back to the bar and sleep. It's been crazy." Rina said though she felt a strange sting on her back but was unable to look at it.
"Okay what the heck was that? My back just got all tingly all of a sudden." Rina said. Robyn checked lifting up the back of the shirt and noticed that the hexagram was gone completely.
"That hexagram... it's gone but how?" Robyn asked.
"Our handcuffs cuts off anyone wearing them with their semblance meaning when we slapped them on his semblance must've deactivated which in turn removed the hexagram." Harriet replied before turning back to the soldiers.
"Alright. Move out!" Harriet ordered as she and the soldiers loaded up and left the scene with Hector which was more than likely staring at them from inside the transport.
"Hey... Robyn... can we go home?" Fiona asked.
Robyn smiled at the sheep faunus and patted her head "Yeah... let's go." Robyn said as they all went there separate ways but not before Cynthia turned to Rina.
"Take care of yourself Miss Trill." Cynthia said putting her hand out.
"Please... my friends call me Rina." Rina stated with a wink before taking her hand. Cynthia slightly chuckled at that before they all went their separate ways.
May was elated to have Fiona back that she practically lifted her up into the air before embracing her and then Robyn. Robyn still promised to come by every now and then to help where she can and to visit Fiona. The two of them enjoyed their hours outside of the bar but eventually Rina had to return back to her temporary home but she was starting to view it as her new home. She noticed her dairy nearby and decided today she would write in it.
"Journal Entry #5. It's been an interesting couple of days to say the least. From making a few friends to stopping a criminal from my caretakers past. Though the things I learned most is mainly that everyone carries something. A burden that sometimes they need some help to lift off of them. My caretaker in particular though I don't want to go over all the detail otherwise I'll take up more than a page. In short we caught him and now he's behind bars hopefully for good. As for me, this place has started to grow on even though it can be a little difficult at time doesn't mean I don't like a challenge. Honestly... I hope where ever my team is they're okay. Signed, Rina Trill." Rina wrote as she closed her journal as she decided to get some sleep after everything that has happened and prayed for a better tomorrow.
