Chapter 14 The Reveal
(Eliza's POV)
Saturday morning...
Today is the day we finally get to clean-up the forest and I couldn't be happier. No, it doesn't have to do with a certain werewolf, maybe a lot. But I'm also nervous, my friends are going to meet Wyatt and Bonzo for the first-time and I hope they don't freak out too much.
Shaking off some of her nerves Eliza gets up and gets dressed, she was totally against wearing the same outfit as Addison and Bree, but now that she has it on it's not that bad. She heads downstairs and eats some breakfast since her mom's still sleeping after her long shift last night. Once she cleans her dishes the doorbell rings. Wiping her hands on the dry rag on the counter she goes to open the door.
"Hey guys thanks for coming so early I wanted to get everything set before everyone arrives." Eliza says letting them in.
"It's no problem." Addison says.
"Not to mention that you three look so adorable in your matching outfits." Zed tease.
"Don't be jealous Zed, you know your girlfriend could make you look just like us." Bree says.
"Anyway, all of what we need are up in my room let's try and make as minimal noise as possible my mom had a long night." Eliza says and her friends nod their heads. They all quietly make their way up to Eliza's room and gather all the test tubes and flasks that they'll need and divide them evenly between Addison's, Bree's and Eliza's cars once it's all set Eliza leaves a note for her mom and sends Wyatt a message say that they were leaving now.
Once they all reached the spot they unload and just talk. Zoey and Zevon show up first. Zoey gives her a hug and then everyone else. Zevon pulls Eliza to the side.
"I finished your prototype." Zevon says. "Are you serious?" Eliza asks. "It took a bit longer than I hoped, but here it is." Zevon says holding up a case. "Thank you so much!" Eliza says hugging him. "Your welcome kiddo." Zevon says with a chuckle. Eliza pulls back from the hug taking he case and putting it in her car.
"Ready for duty- Ow!" Wyatt yelps holding his knee.
You really need to stop sneaking up on her. Bonzo signs.
"He's right. Sorry Wyatt, but seriously stop doing that." Eliza says with an eye roll.
"Sorry, just wanted to get here and get started." Wyatt says. Before Eliza can respond she hears a squeal behind her.
"Eliza is this, Wyatt? Why didn't you tell us he was coming?!" Bree exclaims.
"For exactly this reason." Eliza mumbles.
"Sorry about Bree. She get's this way when excited. I'm Addison and this is my boyfriend, Zed." Addison says as she and Zed join them.
"Nice to meet you both, and this is Bonzo he's one of my oldest friends." Wyatt says. Bonzo waves shyly.
"So, you're the guy that likes my other little sister." Zed says.
"Yes." Wyatt says with no hesitation Eliza blushes slightly.
"Oh, E's blushing." Bree says drawing attention to Eliza.
"Okay, Bree that's enough. Leave Eliza alone." Addison says though she winks. Which cause Eliza to roll her eyes.
Soon Mayor Wells and Ms. Lee arrive as due the rest of the volunteers which included the ACEYS. Everyone gathers around.
"Good morning, everyone! Thank you to those who volunteered and to those in detention." Ms. Lee looks at the ACEYS "No, complaining, now everyone be safe. Once the forest is clear of debris, we will hand it over to Miss Zmith." Ms. Lee says. Everyone quietly gets to work Eliza is not surprised that Wyatt and Bonzo aren't lifting as much. Better to not expose themselves with all these people around.

"This is so boring." Stacy says.
"Yeah, I don't even have a signal out here." J.C./Kevin says holding his phone up.
"My hair is getting ruined." Lacey says pulling tiny twigs out of her hair.
Wyatt rolls his eyes at the three. They haven't even been out here for an hour yet.
"Do those three ever shut up?" Wyatt asks. "Honestly, no. They have no filter in the worst way." Eliza says. "What do you mean?" Wyatt asks. "They are Bucky's henchmen and I get the feeling he sent them here to sabotage in some way. Or I could just be overthinking." Eliza says with a shrug picking up some more broken branches she goes to put them in the huge garbage bags and screams.
"Eliza! What happened?" Wyatt yells seeing her in a net suspended 20 ft in the air. "I don't know! But I bet those three do." Eliza says pointing at the ACEYS who have their phones out recording.
"What is wrong with you guys?!" Addison exclaimed.
"Nothing, really. This was all Bucky's idea." Lacey said.
"Son of a-" Eliza cuts her curse off since Zoey showed up with Zevon.
"He really doesn't know when to quit. Eliza are you okay?" Zed asks.
"Just peachy Zed." Eliza says sarcastically.
"How are we going to her down?" Bree asks.
"We should have a ladder in the car Zed, help me get it." Zevon says as he and Zed leave. Zoey looks scared and on the verge of tears.
"Zoey I'm okay I promise. Go and get Mayor Well's and Ms. Lee, okay?" Eliza asks. Zoey nods and goes to get them. Addison and Bree swifty turn around and take the ACEYS phones immediately starting to delete videos and photos. While they are briefly distracted, Wyatt and Bonzo share a look. Eliza shakes her head.
"No, you guys please don't." Eliza whispers so only they can hear. Both boys do, but still put on their Moonstones which have been in their pockets this whole time. And they start climbing the tree. Eliza closes her eyes dreading what will happen to them when their caught. When she opens her eyes Bonzo has reached her first and starts to untie the rope Wyatt waits closer to the bottom waiting for the rope so he can start to pull her down. When he securely has the rope, he begins to pull and the net lowers slowly. It's halfway down when J.C./Kevin tackles Wyatt to the ground causing him to lose his grip on the rope. The net drops quickly and Eliza falls landing on her left side hard she screams in pain.
"Eliza!" Wyatt yells pushing J.C. off him and rushing to her side. Everyone arrives then.
"What is going on here?!" Mayor Well's yells. Then she sees Eliza on the ground and no moving. "I want answers now." Mayor Well's says.
"Mom it's Bucky, again." Addison says. "How he's with your father." Missy says. "You didn't take away his phone, so he's been texting these three." Addison says pointing to the ACEYS. "What made you want to do this?" Missy demands from the three.
"Not, to interrupt, but is Eliza, okay?" Bree asks. Everyone looks over at Wyatt who's cradling Eliza in his lap.
Eliza slowly opens her eyes to see Wyatt taking his Moonstone off and placing it on her wrist. Gasps can be heard around them. Bonzo has also come over and removed his Moonstone and places it on her leg which Eliza couldn't feel.
"Is she going to be alright?" Ms. Lee asks.
"Yes, but she's going to need to go to the hospital. I'm no doctor." Wyatt says. Bonzo nods and they both remove their Moonstones. Eliza groans in pain.
Zed drops the ladder and bolts to Eliza side.
"Hey, you're going to be fine." Zed says. "I know, I just need this to get finished." Eliza says. "And it will. We promise you need to get out of here and to the hospital." Zed says looking at Wyatt and he nods. Zed nods and goes over to Missy and Addison.
"My van has a lot of space in the back if you boys want to help me get her in, I'll take her and call her mom." Zevon says approaching them. Eliza gives a small nod and Wyatt and Bonzo gently lift her up and towards his car with Zoey in tow. Zevon opens his truck and places unfolds his tarp when he moves out of the way. Wyatt and Bonzo lay Eliza down as gently as possible.
"Is this safe?" Wyatt asks. "It will be." Zevon says. "I'm coming with you." Wyatt says. "If that's what Eliza wants." Zevon says. Eliza nods squeezing Wyatt's hand with her good one. "She's fine with it." Wyatt says.
"Alright, let me get Margret on the phone and we'll head out." Zevon says. Zoey follows her dad. Wyatt looks at Bonzo.
"I know it looks like I'm leaving you to deal with Willa-" Wyatt is cut off by Bonzo putting his hands on his shoulders shaking his head. Eliza is more important than deal with your sister. Take care of her. Bonzo signs. "I will once she's home I'll come back to explain." Wyatt says. I will talk to your mom before I talk to Willa. Bonzo signs. "Thanks, man." Wyatt says. Bonzo nods and walks away join the others.
"Alright let's get going her mom will meet us there." Zevon says. Wyatt nods climbing in the truck closing the door as Zevon gets the engine started. Zoey looks back at them with sad eyes. Wyatt tries to give her a reassuring smile. He gently brushes his hand over Eliza face. Her eyes flutter open, and she gives a small smile then gives a small groan of pain.
After 30 minutes they arrive at the hospital and Margret is waiting for them with a nurse with a table? Wyatt wasn't sure. Once they parked and Zevon opens the truck Wyatt gets out and gently lifts Eliza up and out and on the table.
"Wyatt what happened?" Margret asks after she hugs him. As they all head inside Wyatt explains while Margert fills out paperwork. "That boy should go to jail, better yet back to his parents." Margret says. When the doctor calls her back, she takes Wyatt's arm. Wyat looks in the room they go in shock, he sees wires and tubes attached to Eliza and it freaks him out. Margret gives him a reassuring squeeze on his arm.
"Hello, Ms. Zmith I'm Doctor Thomas." The doctor says. "It is nice to meet you, now how bad is my baby?" Margret asks. "She's better then she was." Dr. Thomas says. "Explain, please." Margret asks. "Her lower left leg and foot are broken, and her left wrist is fracture in three places." Dr. Thomas says. "How is that better?" Margret asks. "Her body has somehow healed parts of itself before her arrival, it's truly interesting." Dr. Thomas says. "So, what all will she need and how long will she be staying here?" Margret asks. "She'll need a boot for the leg and foot and plaster splint for her wrist. She can be discharged as soon as tomorrow." Dr. Thomas says. "Thank you, doctor. Now about the bill." Margret says. "No need to worry about that Mayor Well's is taking care of it all." Dr. Thomas says and leaves the room.
"So, she's going to be, okay?" Wyatt asks. "Yes, she is. Oh, she's going to be so mad that she won't be able to drive." Margret says. "I think she'll get over it." Wyatt says. "You have a lot to learn about my daughter." Margret says letting go of his arm and walking over to sit in one of the plastic chairs. Wyatt sits in the other chair.
"Thank you, Wyatt, for taking care of her." Margret says her eyes not leaving Eliza. "You're welcome." Wyatt says. Silence falls on them and all that is heard is the beeping of the machines around them, and Wyatt hearing their heartbeats. The pair soon drift off to sleep.
