Precious Climbing for the Top Adventuring
The group continue walking through the path the Schnee family are leading the way through the same path they took every year, and they're glad the snow hasn't become too much of a problem for them either.
"How much further?" Jaune asked.
"Just a few more miles, shouldn't be long until we get close to the top." Winter answered.
"It's starting to get dark now, are we going to hike through the rest of the way at night?" Jaune asked again.
"Of course not, you dolt." All three Schnee women answered to Jaune with some slight angry look which shock Jaune from that immediate answer.
"If we did something like that, then we would be running the risk of getting hurt along the way and might not be able to reach the top." Weiss pointed out.
"We know a good camping spot around the area, we'll stop there for some rest." Winter said.
"Right, that's good to hear." Jaune chuckled nervously, now feeling stupid for asking such a question when he should've known better.
"Come on, everyone. We need to get there if we are to wake up early in the morning for the sun rising and seeing the flower bloom." Weiss reminded everyone with tapping on her watch.
"She sure doesn't like to waste time, does she?" Jaune asked.
"Weiss has always been known to keep things by the book as much as possible, but that just saying she's less strict than Winter." Pyrrha explained.
"You know, coming here reminds me of how we tried making that giant snowwoman a few years ago. Remember that, Ruby?" Yang started to remember that time.
"Oh yeah, we were trying to break a record and it would be the coolest thing of all time that it wouldn't melt of Ice Land's natural coldness." Ruby smiled of the memory.
"I seem to remember a giant snowball is rolling its way from the Ice Land and almost crash into our town." Raven recalled with her arms cross as both daughters gulp feeling her glare on them.
"It was an accident! We didn't know the snowball would end up rolling away when we were about to put the middle part in." Ruby tried to explain what happened.
"Yeah, all Ruby did was spank it from behind pretending there was a butt there." Yang added though that didn't seem to help with this case.
"You both were lucky that I was saw the snowball and cut it into pieces before it could do any serious damage to the town." Raven said.
"Let's not forget that we had you girls clean up the mess too." Summer mentioned.
"On the bright side, we did it by making snow cones and everyone loves them." Ruby smiled.
"Yeah, but it was only during the summertime." Yang reminded her of that hot season.
Meanwhile, high up from a higher path of the mountain is a big black paw stepping on the edge as a pair of certain red eyes growls at the traveling humans like it sounds really hungry for some flesh.
The group keep on making it through the safe snow path until Winter spotted something four meters away, she held up her hand signaling everyone to stop as she walks to the object in the middle of the path and brush the snow away with her hands.
"Oh good, it's still here." Winter sighed in relief.
With the snow out of the way, the object that Winter checked on turns out to be a wooden sign with a metal pole on the ground, and the picture on the sign shows the Schnee family symbol along with an arrow pointing in the direction of the path they are going.
"That way is to the spot for our camping, once we get there, we should make sure our camping equipment is firm to keep hold for us to sleep in for the night." Winter said.
"I'm surprise that old sign hasn't been torn down by now." Weiss commented.
"Well, the pole was made to withstand the intense cold though I'm more surprise about the wooden sign. I was getting worried that we may have to replace it soon." Willow shared her thoughts.
"I'm glad it's here because I'm sure we would've been lost without it. No offense to you girls to memorizing the landscape of this place." Jaune smiled a little nervously.
"Oh please, we always come prepare in case the sign isn't there anymore." Weiss proclaimed.
"That's right, we also come up here every few months to make sure we remember the path and so we wouldn't forget." Willow smiled nodding.
"Okay, I'll be sure to remember that." Jaune said.
Everyone make their way to the camping spot which is only several minutes of walking until they arrive at the place where they see big ice sculpture of the Schnee family symbol, the Schnee women all bow to the symbol.
"Okay everyone, we're here!" Weiss announced to the fellow travelers.
"About time, I'm hoping we can stop and rest with something warm." Blake said before looking at her gloved hands.
"You can always count on me to keep you warm." Yang grinned and offering her hand to Blake.
"What? Are you saying we should get naked in the cold?" Blake teased with a giggle.
"W-What? No, I wa… I wasn't saying that, just thought we could huddle up and stuff. If that's okay with you?" Yang tried to clarify of what she meant with her cheeks blushing.
"R-Right, sorry. I was just teasing you a bit." Blake apologized, also blushing of the moment right now.
"It looks like those two may finally ask each other out." Kali whispered to Summer.
"That's what I'm hoping for. But the question is which one will make the first move?" Summer wondered as she looks at Yang and Blake.
"Good question, it's really hard for me to pick between my own daughter and the girl who could become my future daughter-in-law." Kali felt conflict of this choosing.
"You two could always try pushing them towards each other. That's how my parents did when I met my wife." Elm advised as she walk past them.
"Hmm, that could work!" Summer and Kali agreed on that plan as they'll wait for the right moment to do so.
"Say, did you guys by any chance bring your own tents?" Nora asked the group.
"I'm pretty sure we did. How else are we supposed to sleep in the cold night?" Rin answered as she put her backpack down.
Nora and Elm look at each other with smirks almost like they are reading each other's minds of now is the time to unleash their plan and seeing the smirk like that is getting everybody feeling a bit nervous as they wonder what the Valkyrie girls are planning to do right now.
"What are you"
But before Pyrrha could finish that sentence, Nora and Elm took out their equipment to set up their special tent they have been planning for months for this to happen as the hammer down the folded-up metal poles along with a blanket with holes for the poles then they threw up the large sheet over those poles.
Nora opens the zipper and the two step aside now showing everyone the Valkyrie women have just finish pinching up their tent, and this one is very big that can hold in more people as everyone becomes shocked.
"What in the name of Salem is that?" Weiss asked.
"This here is our Valkyrie House tent that can hold in 21 people!" Nora introduced the tent to everyone.
"Yup, this baby here is going to house for all of us and we even brought in a little something that can help keep us warm inside as well." Elm smirked as she and Nora enters the tent.
"Come on, everyone! It's time for our cold fun camping!" Nora gestured her hand outside of the hand.
"Well, they made the tent for all of us. I don't see why we can't ignore their kind offer." Jaune said walking into the tent.
"He's right, they're our friends and we should see how this tent is good for all of us." Pyrrha agreed as she soon follows Jaune in.
The rest of Pyrrha's family decided to go in as well along with everyone else including the Schnee family, and they are surprised to find how much room and cozy-looking this tent is on the inside just like Nora and Elm.
"Hey, glad you guys could make it!" Nora waved hello to everyone.
"Come on in, I'm about to start cooking up dinner." Elm said as she opens the blanket revealing a certain item that Jaune knows from home.
"You guys have a kotatsu?" Jaune surprised.
"Always got to be prepare for having a big group campout, things like having something that can help keep people warm." Elm explained.
"Oh man, this one is the long edition that can hold up to ten people." Jaune recognized the special feature of the kotatsu.
"I'm surprise you guys even have something like this." Jaune said to Nora and Elm.
"Like she said, always got to be prepare." Nora grinned.
"Now, it's time we get started on dinner." Elm patted her stomach.
"Good thing we brought in some grub." Risa smirked as she slams her bag on the small table and show to have lots of fish and meat.
"Fish!" Blake and Kali excited to have dinner.
"Oh, they look tasty." Yang commented.
"Thanks, we caught a lot this morning and thought about bringing some of them when we got invited for this trip." Pyra explained.
"Now, all that is left to do is cook them up." Rin grinned with one hand on her arm.
"I got that cover!" Nora unzipped a hole next to her, threw in some sticks and a few coals, and rub two rocks together creating some sparks that started a fire.
"Fire is ready!" Nora informed with a thumb up.
"I'm starting to think there might be a thing as being too prepared." Jaune commented to himself.
Everyone got to cooking the food and eating them together as Weiss looks around seeing all of her friends and families are having a good time, like with Yang leaning closer to Blake who rolls her eyes though blushing a bit and there's Raven talking with Rias probably about how their days has been going.
Then there's no older sister and mother as they are having a good time with being surrounded by friends, this trip has been feeling more fun than in the past trips they have gone in.
Jaune is having a great time too, talking with Ruby and Rin and Pyrrha along with Nora adding her own crazy thoughts thought she seems to tune down herself a bit.
"Everyone, I would like to say…" Weiss' sentence was interrupted when a sudden loud roar coming from outside.
"Was that a lion?" Jaune asked feeling scared right now.
"Not unless you're a bigger one to make a roar like that." Rias said with a serious expression.
"Then it can only mean one thing." Summer glared at the zipped entrance of the tent.
Everyone quickly went outside to see a Grimm that resembles a sabretooth tiger and has some ice on its body, staring at the humans with dead red eyes before letting out a loud roar.
"A Sabyr, I didn't think we run into them like this." Kali shocked.
"Oh dear, I fear something like this might happen. I'm just surprise we didn't run into a Grimm since we started our trip until now." Willow said.
"Of course, every time we have our trip these Grimms would always pop up at the most unexpected times like now." Winter angered.
"What are we gonna do?" Jaune asked.
"What do you think we're gonna do? We're gonna fight!" Nora grinned with a tighten fist.
"I don't think you can jump in, Nora. It's only one, I can take it." Elm smirked as she pounds her fist into her palm.
But the Sabyr roar again and a few seconds later two more came out along two Ursas as they roar together to get ready to kill these humans.
"Okay, that's something." Elm surprised a bit.
"But I'm still going to kill them." Elm excited as she sprints to the Grimms.
"Don't just jump in, you idiot!" Raven shouted in annoyance as she brings out her sword.
"Good thing I never leave home with mine." Summer said bringing out her own scythe.
"Don't forget about us." Ruby said as she and the other young teens have also brought their own weapons to fight.
"I am so proud of you all." Risa sobbed a little, seeing how these young warriors are already for combat.
"You girls be careful out there." Jaune called out as he and Zwei are remaining in the tent. Zwei barks cheering for his family and their friends.
"Don't you worry, we'll be back inside that tent before you know it." Yang cracked her knuckles.
"Let's try making this quick, we have a special flower to see and if we miss the blooming then it's these Grimms' fault." Weiss glared and pointed her rapier at the black monsters.
"Then let's kill them!" Winter said before they charge at the black monsters.

Risa jumps slamming one Ursa's head with her club causing it to stumble back and was stabbed in the back by Pyra with her sharp spear through the back and the stomach, Pyra pulls the Ursa around for Rin and Pyrrha to attack together with one spear through the mouth.
Elm swings her hammer at one Sabyr making it stumble back and Nora slams her hammer on the right side breaking its ribs, Kali and Blake run together slashing at the beast with the Belladonna mother impaling the neck with her long-claw gauntlet and jumps back. The Valkyrie slams their hammers together so hard the Grimm burst into dust.
The Branwen-Rose family go after the second Ursa with Summer and Raven slashing together from both sides then Ruby came in for a flying rolling slash through the shoulder, then Yang came in getting a boost from her moms sending her flying fast for a strong punch on the head so hard that it snaps backward to death.
The Schnee women dealt with the second Sabyr as it tries to attack but Winter jump over the claws pinning them down with her swords, Winter performs a backflip kick forcing its head pointing up as Weiss and Willow come at each other slicing the head off together.
Sabyr looks around seeing its fellow Grimms have been killed by these humans as it was gonna think about retreating for the time being, but Blake got behind it and slash at its leg causing it to jump in shock then got slammed away by Elm and impale through the eye and head by Weiss.
"That's for ruining our family fun." Weiss glared at the dead Grimm.

"Wow!" Jaune said, he can never stop being amazes of how cool these girls are with their fighting skills and strength.
"Hey Weiss, what were you going to say back at the tent? Before the Grimms showed up?" Ruby asked curious.
"Well, I was going to say thank you." Weiss answered with a smile.
"You guys have been close with the Schnee family for years even before any of us were born, that just makes you guys our family as much as any blood relationship. I hope we can continue holding onto the bond we have together." Weiss said, then suddenly got hug by Ruby.
"Of course, we will! We're BFF!" Ruby squealed exciting and Weiss rolls her eyes.
"That goes for you too, Jaune Arc. Best not forget that or else." Weiss called out.
"I wouldn't even if I try." Jaune chuckled as Zwei barks.
(Early Morning)
Everyone got plenty of sleep from last night and they climb onto the top of the mountain peak where they spotted a flower bud that seems bigger than the normal ones, like a beach ball.
"Here is comes!" Weiss excited.
The sun raises from the horizon bringing the light shining onto everything as it makes contact with the flower bud, then it opens up into a beautiful blue and white flower that glows brightly from the light of the sun.
"It's so beautiful!" Jaune amazed softly.
"It feels even better now this year." Willow smiled.
"Because we have more people to share this moment with us." Winter pointed out.
"(Grandma, I hope you're proud because we made this trip even better than before.)" Weiss thought smiled, feeling her grandma smiling down on them from Heaven.

The Schnee family mountain trip was a huge success with the friends coming along to see the rare flower blooming in the morning, and they even fought some Grimms together during their camping time too.
