Hey guys, sorry for the delays and other things. Got caught up with High School DxD and my One Piece fanfic which I am really liking so far. No kidding is on my top favorites alongside this one, Justice for the Land of the Samurai, Straw Hats Vigilantes and so many others. Anyway this will be a dramatic chapter so let's have a look.
At the water Streets.
Sanji, Mira, Lisanna, Elfman were looking around to see if they could find Robin. They were pretty certain that they saw her and she then disappeared. Something was off at the moment.
''Having any luck there Elfman?" Asked Mirajane as her, Lisanna, Sanji and her brother all ride a Yagara.
''No big sister. I cant spot her.'' Said Elfman.
''Juvia any luck?" Asked Lisanna to the water.
The water mage soon appeared in the form of water herself and started to speak.
''Juvia looked all over the area and couldn't find Robin. Juvia feels disappointed.'' Said her.
''Come on Juvia-chan you did your best.'' Said Sanji helping the girl out.
Juvia once inside of the Yagara looked around and made sure to feel comfortable.
''How are you feeling?" Asked Lisanna.
''Juvia feels a bit embaresed. She couldn't find her new crewmate and friend.'' Said Juvia.
''Its ok, once we regroup with everyone, we can make a big search group.'' Said Sanji.
Soon they passed a street with the bookstores and there was when Chopper group spotted them.
''Hey is that Chopper and the others?'' Said Sanji seeing the reindeer and mages.
''Guys!'' Scream Levy waking her arms fanatic.
''Levy what happened?" Asked Mirajane.
The two group soon meet up and all discuss the same subject: Robin. Chopper and his group commented on how she disappeared once they got into the bookstore while Sanji and his group talked on how they saw her walking around and then disappeared. There is something off that they couldn't place it.
''Crap, I don't like any of this.'' Said Sanji smoking his cigarette.
''Sorry Sanji, we got to focused on reading those books that we lost her.'' Said Chopper feeling bad.
''Yes, we weren't paying attention.'' Said Wendy.
''You don't need to apologize, any of you. I even thought that could have been you or Freed.'' Said Sanji.
''Yes, we almost forgot about those possibilities.'' Said Elfman
''Have you checked other areas?' Asked Freed
''I looked in my water form all around this area and couldn't find nothing.'' Said Juvia.
''I wonder who that man in the mask was. If he is an ally or an enemy.'' Said Sanji.
''Yes, we cant let this idea pass since we are on a pirate crew.'' Said Charla.
Sanji was quiet and just smoking, he looked like he was about to snap at something, and everyone was worried about that.
''Sanji-kun are you ok?" Asked Mira.
''Sorry Mira-chan, it's just this situation leaves me not feeling well. I have this strange feeling in my chest.'' Said Sanji.
''Should I take a look?" Asked Chopper.
''Not like that!'' Scream Sanji.
''So what is it?" Asked Freed.
The cook take a puff of smoke and then told what he was thinking.
''Remember what Aokji said?" Asked Sanji.
''Yes.'' Said Mira, Elfman, Charla, Lisanna and Freed.
''What did he say?" Asked Chopper confused.
''He talked about Robin past and said that soon we will regret having her.'' Said Sanji
''But he might as well be lying.'' Said Wendy.
''Yeah, Robin is our friend and we love her.'' Said Chopper.
''Although you all mention she didn't give much to her past before.'' Said Freed with a point.
''wasn't she the right-hand man of a crime boss? The one that almost killed you all.'' Asked Charla.
''Yes! But she had to do that for protection, who would mess with her if she had Crocodile protection!'' Said Chopper.
''Things are different. She decided to come with us and our captain let her join and start a new life.'' Said Sanji.
''In Fairy Tail we had situation like that.'' Said Mirajane.
''We have people like Gajeel and Juvia that were once enemies of the guild, that later became members.'' Said Levy
''Yes, Juvia is so proud of her Fairy Tail symbol.'' Said Juvia showing her Fairy Tail symbol.
''I don't care about her past, she with us now so she is our responsibility.'' Said Freed.
''I hope she ok.'' Said Wendy feeling still a bit sad that Robin dispared.
The group decided to head back to the merry and tell the others about the situation. Once everyone was together, they could make a search party and try to find Robin.
Back at the Docks
Luffy, Natsu, Lucy, Nami and Happy were all in shock upon hearing the news that Kaku gave.
''You can't fix the merry?! Why?" Asked Luffy pissed.
''Yeah tell us!' Scream Natsu.
The carpenters were all just silent as they saw the Straw Hat and the pink haired boy screaming at them.
''Just tell us what you found.'' Said Lucy
''Aren't you all idiots? Why can't our ship cant be fixed! Tell us now!'' Scream Natsu.
''Look, if its money you want, I have a lot!'' Said Luffy.
''Yes, if you want we can get even more!'' Said Natsu.
''Aye! We are loaded so we can afford it.'' Said Happy.
''Money is not the problem. The ship cannot be repaired no matter how much money you have. It's already a miracle that you sailed here with that ship. If I heard that you got around more of 20 people to join than it's a blessing that she still intact.'' Said Kaku.
''What do you mean? What's wrong with the Merry?" Asked Nami.
''Do any of you shameless girls know what a keel is?' Asked Paulie.
''No.'' Said Lucy.
''I know, it's on the bottom of the ship.'' Said Nami.
''Correct. It's the support that goes from the head to the tail of the ship. It's the most important part of the entire thing. The Keel at the center of the ship is the ´´life line´´. If the keel is broken, you can't just take it off and put in a new one. Replacing the keel is the same as building a whole new ship! Thus, no one can ´´repair´´ your ship. That thing is nothing more than a pile of wood waiting to be scrapped.'' Said Paulie giving the facts.
Once they heard that speech, they were both sad and pissed about what he said.
''Hey! How could you said all that" Scream Nami.
''You think you can insult our ship and get away with!'' Scream Natsu ready to fight Paulie, but Lucy grabbed him.
''Natsu please, he is trying to help.'' Said Lucy
''it's the truth. You can't escaped it.'' Said Paulie.
''This cant be happening. Our new home already gone.'' Said Happy all sad.
''In that case just remake my ship from start!'' Scream Luffy
''Yeah, we destroyed the old Fairy Tal building over a hundred times and we always rebuild it from scratch.'' Said Natsu
''That not possible either!'' Said Hattori in Lucci shoulder.
''Why not?!' Asked the two.
''Yeah, back when we were a guild we used to destroyed our building at least once every month, but we always managed to rebuild it.'' Said Natsu.
''Was the Building always in the same land that he was originally build?' Asked Hattori.
''Yes but…'' Said Natsu but Hattori gave him the answer.
''That's the difference. A Building that represent a group that stay on a certain place on a certain island, if you rebuild him on the same land that he was born then its acceptable. But a ship is something completely different since doesn't have a true place where it was born and its always sailing. While it is possible for us to build a ship that look like yours, it's still technically not ´´remaking´´ the same ship. In this world, there is no two identical ships.'' Said Hattori pissed.
''What are you talking about?'' Asked Lucy
''Are there two completely identical trees in the world? And ships are built from pieces of wood. The size and shape of the ship depends on the wood. So even if we have the blueprints, we cant rebuild an identical ship. Even if we do make a nearly identical ship, the one who will most strongly feel: ´´this is not the same ship´´, will be yourselves! Koo Koo.'' Said Hattori giving the reasoning.
The group felt like in shock mode, so that was it? The Merry was gone and right now with their new friends, they haven't the change of exploring the seas with her and she dies right away.
''So then we should give up and buy another ship?" Asked Lucy
''Correct, you can either take it apart now, or let is die and sink naturally.'' Said Paulie all cold.
Luffy was in denial of all that. The Mery was the ship that the Straw Hats called home and didn't wanted her to die.
'We been with the Merry since the start of our journey, she´s our home.'' Said Nami.
''Its our home! When we were lost and with no place to go this crew saved us all. That ship the Going Merry is our home and we are not letting you all bad talk her.'' Said Lucy.
The carpenter and Kalifa just take a deep breath of that.
''Sorry, but the ship has lived what it could. If you all sail right away, there is no chance that you can reach the next island. I am truly sorry but your ship is pretty much in death door, but don't worry you kids have money, we can get you all a brand new ship and with a good model that can take of your big crew.'' Said Iceburg.
''No! I don't want a new ship!'' Scream Luffy.
''Exactly! We don't believe in you all!'' Scream Natsu.
''Our ship is the Going Merry! If you just fic it, it will definitely keep going. Plus, we sailed perfectly today! Who says it can't go on?!' Asked Luffy.
''He is right! The merry has the strength of carrying everyone we know with no problem. She just need a lit repair and that's all.'' Said Natsu
''I DODNT BELIVE YOU! YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW STRONG OUR SHIP IS!" Scream Luffy.
''Yeah!"' Scream Natsu
Iceburg just looked at the two with an annoyance, he hated this type of people. Those who can't accept fate.
''You two can just sit in the ship and let it sink. It's not our problem if you all die or not because of stupid decision. Some make your mind you little punk, do you really call yourself a captain?" Asked Iceburg to Luffy.
''What did you say to my friend?!' Asked Natsu ready to beat the snot out of Iceberg.
''natsu stop!'' Said Nami holding Natsu this time.
''that's so childish but I can understand your loss so you are in denial. Kalifa give them a catalog of this year ships. Maybe something will spot their interest.'' Said Iceberg.
''Sure mister Iceberg.'' Said her giving him a magazine.
''We don't want that!'' Scream Luffy putting the magazine on the floor.
''If any you change your minds just come by my office and we can discuss the payment.'' Said Iceberg leaving the group.
Luffy just look at the catalog that he put on the ground and reach it, much to people shock.
''Luffy?'' Asked Lucy confused.
''I will just keep this just to show to the others. I want to see what they think.'' Said Luffy.
''that's fair.'' Said Nami.
As the group think sadly about their ship, Iceberg just wonder where did Straw Hat luffy found such a weird crew.
''My my he truly has some weird taste. Doesn't he Kalifa?" Asked iceberg.
''Mister Iceberg! There are customers at the front door. They´re the representatives of the world government again. Should I tell them to leave?" Asked a man with mustache, tattoos and a bead head called Lulu.
''Lulu…tell them that I am not here. Also did you come your hair after your nap?' Asked iceberg seeing the bead hair that Lulu had.
''Excuse me.'' Said Lulu pressing it the hair.
However the spike hair went to the other side of the head.
''I will tell them to come back another time. It's the best we can do.'' Said Lulu not seeing his hair now in another direction.
''Aaaaaah.'' Said Iceberg in horror seeing that hair.
''How is that possible!'' Said Happy seeing Lulu head bed.
Before Iceberg could make his escape, the representatives of the World Government spot him.
''Hold there! We knew you will be here.'' Said the man that worked for the world government.
''Hey you kids, better hide. Those people over there world for the government.'' Said Paulie to the pirates.
''Oh ok.'' Said Nami
As the crew hides among the workers of the Galley La, Iceberg has a talk with an agent called Korgi.
''What are you drunk? I sat on the sea train for a long time to get here! Don't kick me out yet! By the way what is that smell in the air? Is it pirates? Never mind them, I need to talk to you.'' Said Korgi.
''I don't like you. Go away.'' Said Iceberg all childish.
''Still acting like a brat, God you are so stubborn. Anyway, lets have chat before you kick me out, its serious business so we need a private place.'' Said Korgi.
While the carpenter went with the government agents to his office, Luffy and the gang were hiding in a spot until the coast was clear.
''Who were they?" Asked Lucy.
''government people, they see us and we are dead.'' Said Nami.
''Oh they must be scary.'' Said Happy.
''Let beat them up.'' Said Natsu excited.
''Don't even think about it.'' Said Nami ready to punch Natsu.
''By the way Luffy why did you keep the catalog?" Asked Lucy.
''That jerk mock us and you still keep this?" Asked Natsu
''I just want to see if the others agree or not.'' Said Luffy looking at the book.
''Let's just get back to the Merry and talk with everyone. It's been a rough day already.'' Said Nami.
''Yeah.'' Said Lucy, Natsu, Happy and Luffy.
While they were about to leave, Luffy felt something wrong with the briefcases.
''Hey guys.'' Said Luffy.
''What is it luffy?" Asked Lucy
''Its light.'' Said Luffy holding the briefcase with no strength put in, which made everyone confused.
''What are you saying? Please don't joke around, we have around 100 million in there so there is no…'' Said Nami with a worried smile.
Soon they open the briefcases and were shocked to their core.
''AAAAAAAAAH!" Scream them.
''What that hell are you guys screaming for!?' Asked Paulie seeing the group.
''Our 200 million are gone!'' Scream Luffy.
''don't scream in here.'' Said Hatorri.
''Where is our money!' Scream the group towards Paulie.
''I didn't take it!'' Said Paulie pissed.
''So noisy, hey kaku weren't you with the franky family earliy?' Asked Lulu to Kaku.
''Oh no, I haven't seen them all day.'' Said Kaku.
''that's weird. I am sure I saw your long nose friend near them.'' Said Kaku to the group.
''Hey! Hold it what with you say?" Asked Nami.
Soon the carpenter told them what it could have happen.
''Usopp?!'' Scream Luffy.
''He got captured!'' Scream Natsu.
''I guess they were more carrying him.'' Said Lulu putting his bed hair another pat and this time it went to his mustache.
''How does this work?'' Asked Happy being the only one weirded out by Lulu hair.
''While we were busy talking we got distracted.'' Said Luffy.
''He is not in our area anymore, so he is not our problem.'' Said Lulu.
''Thanks asshole!'' Scream Nami.
''What do we do know? Usopp might be in danger.'' Said Happy
''Luffy, Natsu go find Usopp. Knowing you two something might come up.'' Said Nami.
''Right!'' Scream the two.
''Wait for me.'' Said Happy flying near the two.
Nami and Lucy soon looked at Paulie and asked where the Franky Family lived.
''Where does the franky family lives?'' Asked Lucy.
''We need to know.'' Said Nami.
''Oh they live in Scrap Island. Its where their base is located, go from where you docked your ship and then go northeast along the beach. You will see a place written ´´Franky House´´ ''' Said Paulie giving the direction.
Nami and Lucy nodded and rushed toward the Yagara, they were going at top speed to go to their ship. They had Zoro, Erza, Gray, Gajeel and Lily there, it was more than enough to take care of those guys.
''So we go to the ship and call them to help us out?' Asked Lucy.
''I guess if we can't find anyone along the way they are our best bet.'' Said Nami.
''We can fight too.'' Said Lucy.
''Yes, but by the looks we wouldn't last that long.'' Said Nami.
''I guess you are right.' Said Lucy.
''We also need to make sure that those two idiots dodnt get lost our cause more trouble.'' Said Nami.
''One problem at a time Nami.'' Said Lucy.
''Full speed ahead!'' Said Nami to the Yagara.
The two girls went full speed ahead towards the Merry, they need to find their friends to rescue the money and Usop.
With the drinking group.
Cana, Guildarts, Makarov, Laxus, Bickslow and Evergreen were all with drunk faces. They haven't bought much alcohol yet, just enough to pass a few days. Once they had their money they could go and buy something to last a lifetime.
''Man that place is good. We are definitely buying there.'' Said Cana.
''Alcohol from another world isn't bad. In fact taste the same as ours.'' Said Makarov.
''But we need to se the budget, how are we going to buy all that?' Aske Evergreen.
''We have enough to buy a ship full of bottles, we are going to get at least a dozen barrels with us.'' Said Guildarts.
''I cant wait to party with everyone with that booze.'' Said Bickslow.
The group was walking peacefully towards the streets, their destination was the Merry but along the way they see a crowd forming in the middle.
''What is happening there?" Asked Evergreen.
''I don't know.'' Said Guildarts.
''Should be a fun see what the deal is.'' Said Bickslow.
However while walking Laxus stopped and had an intense look in his face.
''Laxus what is wrong?'' Asked Makarov.
''I smell blood.'' Said Laxus all cold.
The group got a bit nervous and went to see what was the deal in the crowd.
''What is going on here?'' Asked Cana.
''Someone was beaten near that, there is blood everywhere.'' Said a bystander.
''What! You people are just going to stay still while he is pain?" Asked Evergreen confused.
''Yes, who is the poor bastard that…'' Said Bickslow with a smirk.
The group then went to see who got beaten so much, much to their horror it was one of their friends.
''USOOP!'' Scream the mages in shock to see their friend in this state.
They all pushed everyone to the side and went to see if he was ok, but from his state he looked like he went through hell.
''Usopp! Are you ok? Can you understand me?!' Asked Cana checking his pulse.
''Please talk! You are alive?!' Asked Bickslow nervous.
''Get off you all! The show is over!'' Scream Laxus scaring the citizens.
''He was attacked from multiple angles, there is no other explanation.'' Said Guildarts seeing the injuries.
''And it appears it was multiple people.'' Said Laxus in horror.
''WHO DID THIS?!'' Scream Makarov pissed to see his new cremate in this state.
The scream was so loud that echoed all through Water Seven, just by a coincidence Nami and Lucy were nearby and spotted the group.
''Is that Makarov?'' Said Lucy hearing her master voice.
''Nami, Lucy! Come here!'' Scream Cana desperately
The group soon got out of the Yagara and saw how Usopp was and they were in shock too.
''Usopp!'' Scream Lucy.
''What happened?'' Asked Nami.
''I don't know. We just got here and saw him like this.'' Said Cana.
''he lost a lot of blood.'' Said Evergreen.
''We need to give him medical treatment, and fast!'' Said Bickslow.
''Where is chopper and Wendy?" Asked Makarov.
''I don't know. They must be with their group still.'' Said Lucy.
''Crap.'' Said Makarov.
Laxus then grabbed someone from the crowd and made sure to get some information.
''Where is the near hospital!'' Said Laxus to a bystander.
''Is about 3 minutes from here!'' Scream him.
''Ok, we can put him there while we find who did this.'' Said Evergreen.
''We already know who did this.'' Said Lucy.
''it's a group called the Franky Family.'' Said Nami.
Then Usopp started to speak, he was so weak that sound like he was begging.
''I couldn't protect it…'' Said him all weak.
''What!'' Said Laxus in shock.
''Usopp don't speak you are in no shape for that.'' Said Makarov.
''What happened to you?'' Asked Bickslow.
''A group of man barged and started to beat me up. I am sorry if I am so useless, they took our money guys. I am so sorry everyone, we were finally able to fix the Going Merry and yet I lost the money. I am so useless! I am sorry everyone.'' Said Usopp crying.
The group felt so much sorrow for him, he was attacked from behind and was now blaming himself for not being strong enough.
''You aren't useless my child, you did your best.'' Said Makarov patting Usopp on the shoulder.
''We are going to fix the Merry in no time. With all that money we are going to see her brand new, right guys?'' Asked Bickslow to Nami and Lucy.
Nami and Lucy just look a little sad, sound like they didn't had good news.
''Girls what is wrong?" Asked Laxus
''it's a long story.'' Said Lucy.
''Hey what is going on?'' Asked Evergreen.
''This not the time for this.'' Said Lucy.
''Yes, we need to put Usopp in a safe place and find the others.'' Said Nami
''You´re right, we need to avenge our friend!'' Said Bickslow preparing his dolls.
''How are we doing this?'' Asked Laxus.
''Let's put Usopp in a hospital then go find the others!'' Said Nami super serious.
''Right!'' Said them
The group soon runs off to find the nearest hospital that could treat their friend. Little did they knew about the mysteries that were being played around the city of water. Things were about to get serious, and nobody could blame a single person out.
