Chapter Five
Training and Gringotts
Harry had spent that Sunday the way he always wanted to. Lazing around. While Dudley's Sundays were spent terrorizing the neighbors or sitting in front of the telly flipping through random channels, Harry was forced to do a list of chores comprised by Aunt Petunia. Not today.
He slept in, way past ten. He ate breakfast late and was impressed when he saw Ron was in the same mindset as him. After years of being ordered by his mother to get up and work, he was going to relax and enjoy the day as well. The two friends discussed what they expected of their training, as well as Ron filled in what Bill was like. When they were done, Neville walked in looking exasperated.
"It's madness out there. Everyone keeps walking up to me and asking me questions," Neville said.
Because of this, Harry decided to spend as little time as possible outside of his quarters, which suited him just fine, since Gordy could just bring him his lunch and dinner. When he did venture outside of the suite, he was met by whispers and questions just like Neville had warned, though it wasn't all bad. At one point he did start a nice conversation in the library with Susan Bones, Madam Bones' niece.
"People sometimes stare at me too. Not in the same way they stare at you, but after my family was killed by You-Know-Who, they stared at me a lot," she confided to him.
Harry felt an odd kinship with Susan at this moment. She, like him, was an orphan and she, like him, had lost her parents to Voldemort. After years of being made into an outcast by the Dursleys, Harry felt great comfort knowing he was not alone in this world, and that this pain he felt was shared by others.
"Seems weird, being famous for something that happened when I was a baby, had no control over, and cost me my parents," admitted Harry.
"Harry," began Susan. "You have to understand, the light was losing near the end of the war. People were getting killed left and right, no one knew who to trust. You-Know-Who's downfall gave people hope. You did that, whether you like it or not."
Harry spent a large portion of that remaining day thinking about what Susan had said. He still did not want this fame, this role of supposed savior. However, it was beginning to seem like fate had something else in mind for him. He was now a Guardian of Hogwarts, therefore whether he liked it or not, which he did not, he was to be a savior, he was expected to defend the school and train to defend to school, should such a threat to its existence arise.
Now, he had made a decision. He was determined to fulfill the role of savior to its fullest. Especially with the knowledge that his parents were killed by a homicidal and genocidal maniac.
Strangely, at one point in the day, his mind drifted to the Dursleys. Once he learned he would never return to Privet Drive, he at first wished to avoid even the mention of the Dursleys, treating his relatives like an afterthought. However, as more and more revelations came out about his past, his parents, and the reason for his stay at Privet Drive, he'd begun to wonder how much they knew. Why was there such jealousy in his Aunt Petunia's eyes when Lily was mentioned and was they safe now that he was out of their care?
Sighing, Harry decided to write them a letter. He knew it was a bad idea and at best they would just ignore it and at worst, they'd complain, but he felt with his life moving away from them at such a speed, he might as well try to gain something from years of dislike. He wrote the letter at night and planned to have Hedwig deliver it in the morning. He knew they'd hate owl posts, but he could use a good laugh.
Dear Dursleys,
I got to Hogwarts just fine and I've been named the Gryffindor Guardian of Hogwarts, not that you know what that is or even care. I've learned lots of things, things you failed to mention. Things about my parents, my family, and my world. For instance, I not only have money. They told me I didn't have to return and to be frank, I think all of us will be happy with this. So, I guess that makes this a goodbye letter, which suits me just fine.
Sincerely,
Harry.
It wasn't anything, it was a nothing letter. But Harry found he could not put into words his true feelings for his relatives, especially since he truly did not know his whole feelings. Don't get him wrong, Harry was over the moon and back again at the fact he never had to see the Dursleys or set foot in Number 4 Privet Drive. However, he also felt like he received little closure in his relationship with his relatives.
Sighing, he tied the short letter to Hedwig and

Harry was both nervous and excited upon heading off to sleep that night. Tomorrow was not only the first day of classes but also his first day of training. He was to meet Bill Weasley and Alastor Moody in an abandoned classroom and begin his training, which Ron and Neville, and their instructors would be joining.
Strangely, neither Moody nor Bill were who he was anxious about the meeting, that honor belonged to Remus Lupin. After discovering his parents' true deaths, Harry realized how many questions he still had about them. Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon hated whenever Harry asked questions, not just about his parents or the unusual things that happened around him, but even the most basic of questions, like why the sky was blue or why his skin was a different color from the Dursleys. Now that the cord between Harry and the Dursleys was severed, all the questions Harry had been too afraid to ask were coming back to him, and he intended to ask Lupin.
Finally, his eyes opened on that Monday morning in September. It was the first day of classes.
Quickly, Harry got ready. However, as he exited the shower and wrapped a towel around himself, he stopped in front of the mirror, a puzzling look on his face before leaving to change. Funny, Harry thought, I could have sworn that had somehow I gotten taller.
He decided to eat breakfast again with his fellow Guardians. For the most part, it was silent. Judging by the expressions on Ron and Neville's faces, Harry suspected they too were nervous about the first day. Draco, on the other hand, looked smug and arrogantly proud, often chiming in to say how he planned to completely succeed today.
When it came time to leave, Ron and Harry were met by a surprise. Hermione Granger, Sue Li, and Padma Patil meet up with them. "Hi guys," said Hermione.
"Hey, Hermione," replied Harry.
"Hey," said Ron.
"Oh," Harry remembered something. He took from his bag the book Hermione had given him and handed it back to her. "Thanks, it was very helpful."
Hermione blushed, as did her two friends. "Did you like reading, Ron?" Hermione asked.
"I didn't read it, but Harry told me everything that was in it. It was very helpful," replied Ron.
Hermione gave him a wide smile. "Really, well, I'm glad to help."
"All of us," said Padma.
"Are you guys going to class?" asked Harry.
"Yes, I think we have our first class together. Potions, with Professor Snape," Sue grimaced when she mentioned the Potions Master.
"You don't sound that excited?" asked Neville.
"I can't blame her. My brothers told me what a vulture Snape is like," said Ron.
"Professor Snape," corrected Sue. "But yes, my cousin told me he is a tyrant. Stern, strict and unforgiving."
"Perfect for one of Draco's instructors," snarked Ron.
"Snape's training Malfoy?" inquired Padma.
"Him and some guy named Slughorn," said Neville.
"Professor Horace Slughorn. I heard he's supposed to be a very respected and well-connected professor. Taught Potions here before Snape," said Sue. "He used to be the Head of House for Slytherin, so that makes sense."
"If you don't mind me asking, who are your instructors?" asked Hermione.
"Mine is actually Ron's older brother, Bill Weasley," replied Harry.
"I've never heard of him," said Padma.
"He's a curse breaker, works for Gringotts. Harrys got him and Alastor Moody," answered Ron.
"The Auror. He put a lot of men away in Azkaban," said Hermione. "What about you, Ron?"
Ron just shrugged. "No one is really special. Xenophilius Lovegood and Professor Flitwick."
"I did hear Professor Flitwick was once a Dueling Champion, despite his size," said Hermione. "Quite exciting, if you think of it."
Harry, Neville, and even Ron could not help but smile at the girl's enthusiasm as they walked to the dungeons.
In the Potion's Room, Harry took a seat next to Ron, Neville, and Draco, with Hermione and her friends sitting at the table next to them. Behind Draco were Pansy, Daphne, and Millicent, who made sure to wave to Draco.
Throughout the class, one thing was made clear. Snape hated Harry. At once, he rattled off several questions to Harry on Potions, some of which Harry was able to answer correctly. Even so, Snape still sneered and whenever his gaze fell upon Harry, it was the nastiest of looks. Although, it seemed Snape held certain favoritism towards Slytherin. Harry was thankful when the class finally ended, though this was replaced with anxiety, as he knew he was about to begin his training.

Harry, Ron, and Neville were led into a wide and vacant room. At first, they thought they'd be in the same room as Potions, but according to Snape, when Harry, Ron, and Neville decided to train together, the Headmaster decided the room they trained in should accommodate all of them. Draco ended up staying in the Potions Room to train with Snape and Horace Slughorn.
Professor McGonagall led them to a room off the Entrance Hall, where they were met by six men, and a small girl who came as a surprise.
"Ginny!" said Ron, shocked. "What are you doing here?"
Ginny just smiled and walked up to Ron and Harry. "Because Bill is one of Harry's teachers, Mum, Dad, and the Headmaster allowed me to come and watch."
Harry grinned at this, while Ron grumbled. "Just try to stay out of our way," he said.
Ginny rolled her eyes at her brother, even sticking her tongue out at him. It was at that moment that Harry noticed another person was in the room, conversing with a gruff and grizzled-looking man with a strange eye Harry assumed was Alastor Moody. She had short, pink bubblegum hair, a coat, and a t-shirt for The Weird Sisters. Harry also noted that she was very pretty, but a little older.
"Isn't that Tonks, one of Charlie's old friends?" asked Ron pointing to her.
"Yeah," replied Ginny. "She's training to become an Auror, so Moody let her come as well."
When Tonks saw that the boys were looking at her, she playfully gave them a wink. Harry, Ron, and Neville separated to meet with their instructors, though Harry did notice the shaggy-looking professor, one he assumed was Remus Lupin, staring at him.
"You," Moody said to him, his magical eye directed right at Harry. "You have been full of surprises."
"You must be Alastor Moody," said Harry, extending his hand.
Harry expected him to reach out and accept the hand, but rather the old Auror simply eyed the hand with suspicious contention. "First rule," Moody said, "constant vigilance. For all you know, I could hold you down and cast any number of terrible curses or jinxes at you."
"Come on, Moody," muttered Bill.
"He's eleven," said Tonks in the same tone.
"He's a Guardian now, and this is his training," argued Moody.
"I know, but he's still a kid," replied Remus, who had walked up to them.
Harry stared at the man before, as if he was a ghost. Before Hogwarts, he knew so little of his parents or their lives, but now he was face to face with a relic of their past. More than a relic, a friend, a link. When Harry looked at the shaggy man, he could not help but stare with a hopeful, child innocence.
This seemed to warm up to Remus, as he stared back at Harry with the same fondest. Already, memories of a green-eyed baby boy flooded his memories. However, these fond memories soon turned to sorrow, as images of his dead friends and treacherous lover came back as well. Pushing those images to the back of his mind, he turned his attention back to Harry.
"Your Remus Lupin, correct. You knew my parents," Harry wasn't asking a question, he was making a statement.
"Yes," and I'm sure you have many questions, which I will love to answer. Though, I don't think now is the time," replied Remus quickly.
While Harry was anxious to learn, he understood that now was not the time. He nodded in agreement. Just at that moment, an older, yet stern-looking man with gleaming eyes, a mustache, gray hair, and a well-tailored suit approached Remus.
"We'll be ready to begin soon, Remus," the older man said.
"Thanks Mr. Scamander," replied Remus.
"Remus, if we're going to be working together, you should call me Theseus," said Theseus. "Mr. Scamander makes me sound old. Well, older."
"He's right. We should begin soon. Mr. Potter can socialize later," grunted Moody.
Nodding in agreement, Remus joined Theseus Scamander by Neville. Ron, on the other hand, joined Professor Flitwick and a crazy-looking man with wilder silver hair, pale skin, and long purple robes he assumed was Xenophilius Lovegood. Bill sternly told Ginny not to interfere, and she took his advice and nodded yes, but not before whispering something into Harry's ear.
"Good luck, but I know you'll do great," she said to him.
Harry again felt that odd and unfamiliar feeling in the pit of his stomach, like the flapping of butterfly wings, especially when a girl was so close to him. Harry used all his concentration to hide the blush from Bill, though Harry was supposed Ginny saw his blush, as she giggled as she walked away.
The three young Guardians were all split across the room. Neville was at the right end, Ron at the left end, and Harry in the center. The room was large enough to house fifty or so people, so all three boys had a wide space to practice.
"Now, Potter," said Moody sternly. "You're still young, so we won't go too hard on you. But remember, you are a Guardian, therefore, you must be ready at a moment's notice, so I was able to convince the Headmaster to allow us to teach you something more advanced. What do you know of Shield Charms?"
Harry shook his head. "Yeah," said Bill. "We figured."
"That's why we'll start by teaching you a second-year spell, Protego," said Moody.
"I thought that was a sixth-year spell?" asked Harry.
"Yes and no. The Shield Charm has many variants and ways to perform. The sixth-year variation is very complicated, however there are other smaller variations you could perform. We'll test it today," explained Bill.
Suddenly, a table with a small rubber ball and a glass jar on it appeared out of nowhere. "What we want you to do is try and create a shield covering the jar so that the ball can't go in. Ain't that fun," said Moody.
Harry was all of a sudden excited, now he had something to do, some form of real magic. He wasn't alone, Ginny looked ecstatic as she stared at the table. Looking at his two companions, each was given their task. Ron was in front of a table with five different potions in front of him, while Neville was in front of a barrage of different plants.
"Now, this is quite simple. Point your wand at the jar and say Protego, and I'll throw the ball in to see if it works," said Moody.
"Got it," Harry replied.
Already aiming his wand at the jar, Moody held up the ball.
"Now," said Bill.
"Protego!" Harry said clearly.
Moody threw the ball and for a quarter of three seconds, the ball looked like it was floating on an invisible table above the jar before falling in. Harry, despite not being able to keep the ball up, was happy and felt a sense of gratification when both Ginny and Tonks patted him on the back. Bill too looked impressed, while Moody kept his stoic gaze.
"Impressive. Let's keep trying until the ball stays in," commanded Moody.
After a few tries, Harry was able to make a shield strong enough to hold the ball over the jar, but not strong enough to last very long. Tonks had begun to time how long these shields would last, with Harry's current record being about forty-four seconds. After concentrating for a whole minute, Harry was able to hold the shield long enough for the ball to remain just above the jar.
"Good job, Harry!" encouraged Tonks.
Harry looked at the other sides of the room and was proud to see his two new friends were both gaining some success. Ron's task it seemed was to guess what potion was which and judging by the proud smiles of Mr. Lovegood and Professor Flitwick. Neville was meant to identify various magical plant life and it pleased Harry to see that the Longbottom boy was in his element and impressing his instructors.
After an hour, Professor McGonagall entered the room to summon the Guardians. "That will all for today," she said.
"That's it," said Ron, slightly disappointed.
"I thought it would be longer," said Harry.
"It would be, but the Headmaster doesn't see it wise to overwhelm or overstress the new Guardians on the first day," explained McGonagall. "Besides, some of your instructors have other classes to attend."
"She's right," said Professor Flitwick. "I have a charms class, which some of your friends might be a part of. We shall meet again before dinner."
"Yes, I think that will work," said Moody. "You did well today, boy."
With that, Moody departed. Bill and Tonks approached Harry. "You did great today. We'll continue the lesson before dinner," Bill then turned to Ron with pride in his eyes. "You did great today little brother. I'll be sure to let mum know." Ron gave the widest smile.
"You must forgive Moody, he's too gruff to know how to exactly praise. I've been training with him for months, and the best compliment he's given me is nice boots and I'm not sure if he was being sarcastic or not. So, him complimenting you on the first meeting is a cause for pride," said Tonks patting Harry on the shoulder.
Just then, a redheaded missile threw herself at both Harry and Ron, and both boys found themselves engulfed in a hug by Ginny. While Ron looked slightly annoyed and taken aback by this sign of affection from his sister, Harry again felt this new unfamiliar feeling at being touched by a girl.
When Ginny let go, she looked proud. "I'm glad your first try was a success," she said.
"Thanks, Gin," replied Harry.
Ron and Ginny then gave Harry the oddest of looks, and it was only then that Harry realized what he just said. Gin, he thought. Why would he call her that? Both Weasleys were now staring at him, and while both were puzzled looks, Ron looked confused while Ginny appeared to be pondering a question.
Harry was thankful when Neville spoke up. "Hi, I'm Neville Longbottom," he introduced.
"Ginny Weasley, I'm Ron's younger sister. You must be Neville, the Guardian of Hufflepuff," said Ginny kindly.
"Yeah, must be proud to have a Guardian in your home?" asked Neville.
"Mum wouldn't stop talking about it," said Ginny, causing Ron to blush.
"She won't?" asked Ron.
"Dad too, they're all very proud," said Ginny.
"You're gonna be here all the time?" asked Neville.
"Yeah, at least until I start school next year," answered Ginny.
Then, a cough was heard, and the four children turned to see Professor McGonagall, Bill, and Remus staring at them.
"While I am glad for your socializing, I must impart something crucial to Mr. Potter. There is another reason the Headmaster asked to see you. There is some business that requires your attention at Gringotts. You are given permission to leave the castle with Mr. Lupin here to rectify this situation," McGonagall explained.
"Odd," said Harry. I was at Gringotts before term began, and nothing seemed to be wrong," replied Harry.
"Yes, well it appears you being named Guardian may be a factor in all this. You must forgive us for the sudden nature of this summonses, but the Manager of Gringotts, Bogrod, has requested your presence, but insists there is no trouble with your account," said McGonagall.
"I guess we'll be seeing more of each other then," said Remus.
"Yes," Harry said.
"I'll be sure to answer any questions you have," said Remus as he left.
HP
Harry, Ron, and Neville decided to attend some of the other classes, choosing to sit next to either Susan, Hermione, or Parvarti. At one point in Charms, Harry tried to sit next to Pansy and her friends, though the Slytherin acted coldly to him. Still, Daphne and Millicent seemed pleasant to him. Draco was nowhere in sight, and according to Daphne, he had decided to train for his first day.
It wasn't until dinner that the three other Guardians saw Draco again, striding into the dining room of the suites like he owned the place.
"How was your first day?" asked Harry, trying to be polite.
"It was a success, as expected," replied Draco.
"Same here. Ron and Neville did well too," said Harry.
"I highly doubt that. Longbottom or Weasley have less magic within them than a squib," gloated Draco.
"Yeah, like you did any better on your first day," snapped Ron.
"I'll have you know that Professor Slughorn and Professor Snape have praised my abilities," said Draco standing up. "I think my dinner would be better spent in my own room."
With that, Draco left. When he was out of sight, Ron and Neville gave out a sigh, while Harry looked unsurprised.
"Remind me again why we have to play nice with him?" asked Ron.
"Because whether we like it or not, which we don't, he's a Guardian too and we're all gonna be spending a lot more time with each other," answered Harry.
For a moment, the three remaining Guardians sat awkwardly and silently as they ate. Thankfully, this silence was broken when Gordy, the ancient House Elf, appeared before them, approaching Harry.
"Yes, Gordy?" asked Harry.
"Headmaster Dumbledore has requested Guardian Potter's presence in his office for the trip to Gringotts, only after you have eaten of course," replied Gordy.
"No, I'm ready," said Harry. "If I'm not back, see you guys tomorrow."
"See ya," said Ron.
"Have fun," said Neville as Harry left.
When Harry arrived at the Office, Professor Dumbledore and Remus were already waiting for him, both smiling at the boy. Harry noticed Fawkes the Phoenix also took notice of him, nodding as he entered. Gordy then bowed to the Headmaster.
"Thank you, Gordy," said Dumbledore kindly.
"An honor, Headmaster," with that, Gordy disappeared.
The Headmaster then turned to Harry. "Now, you remember how Floo Powder works?" he asked to which Harry nodded. "Good, Remus here will be accompanying you to Diagon Alley, where you and he will meet with the Gringotts Manager, Bogrod. I must apologize for this sudden development, but Bogrod insisted on meeting with you."
"It's fine," said Harry.
"Well, without further ado, let's go," said Remus.
The Floo brought them to the Leaky Cauldron, which was practically abandoned due to the late hour. The only people still there seemed too drunk or tried to react. Tom the Barkeep did acknowledge their presence.
"Well, at least we don't have to worry about the press," reassured Remus.
Indeed he was right, as they left the Leaky Cauldron they noticed that due to the time, the population in Diagon Alley had fallen, with very few people in the crowd. Thankfully, no one saw Harry.
"So," Harry began, "you knew my parents?"
"Yes, I was expecting that," sighed Remus. "We were close during our time at school and afterwards."
"What were they like?" asked Harry.
Remus smiled at this. "Lily was one of the kindest people I've ever met, and smart too. She was top of her class, we actually used to bet when she raised her hand."
"My father?"
"Bit of a troublemaker, though he was able to straighten out during his later years. You look a lot like him, you know."
"Really?"
"Yes, I'm surprised you wouldn't know that?"
"I never saw any pictures of them," replied Harry coldly.
Remus was troubled by this declaration. He made a mental note to discuss with Dumbledore Harry's relatives. "Well, I'll be sure to give you a photo."
"Did they have any other friends?" asked Harry.
Remus immediately tensed up. "They did, but I think that is a story for another time. Ah, look, Gringotts," said Remus, thankful the building appeared.
Like the rest of Diagon Alley, the lobby of Gringotts was close to empty, however, an older goblin with glasses and a fine suit was waiting for Harry. Judging by how Remus recognized him, Harry thought this must be Bogrod.
"Ah, Mr. Potter, thank you for coming on such short notice. Sorry, but there is a matter that must be correctly. Shall we head to my office," offered Bogrod.
"Yes, I think that should be in order," said Remus.
"You must be Remus Lupin. Good, Dumbledore said you'd be here. Since you are mentioned in the Potter's Will," said Bogrod.
"My parents had a will?" asked Harry.
"Yes, why don't we discuss these matters further in my Office," said Bogrod gesturing to a door on the side with his name on the front.
"Yes, smart," said Remus.
Bogrod's Office, like the rest of Gringotts, seemed to be a mix of ancient ways and modernization. The desk seemed like a regular bank desk, as well as the walls and files were bland and dull. This clashed with the torches lit on the walls and cave-like floors beneath them.
Harry and Remus sat in seats in front of the desk, while Bogrod took out a large document and placed it in front of himself. Looking pensively and strictly at Harry.
"Now, Mr. Potter, surely you must be curious why I summoned you here at such short notice," Harry nodded at what Bogrod was saying. "Yes, well the reason is actually to do with certain assets and properties owned by the Potter Family. As you probably saw on your first trip to this bank, you have a large amount in your vault, although that is only the trust fund."
"There's more?" asked Harry.
"Oh yes. I didn't tell you, but your family was very wealthy, Harry," said Remus.
"Yes, and by the details of your parent's Will, you were left everything. However, you would have only been able to access all these assets and properties when you become of age, but due to you becoming a Hogwarts Guardian, you are officially seen as an adult by the Ministry and this bank. Therefore, the assets and properties are yours to claim," explained Bogrod.
"I have…what?" asked Harry.
Harry was curious if, with all these surprises, he'd eventfully become numb to it. Not only was he wealthy, not only did his parents have friends, not only was he a wizard, not only was he a Guardian of Hogwarts, but he was also the owner of a few assets. It was quite a lot to take in.
"If I claim them, do I have to maintain them?" asked Harry.
"No, and even if you claim them now, they will remain yours for the foreseeable future," said Bogrod.
"How do I claim them?" asked Harry.
"Simple, sign your name on this parchment," answered Bogrod.
Harry looked at Remus for guidance, and the raggedy man gave him a sign of consent for Harry to move forward. "I think it is what your parents would have wanted."
Agreeing, Harry took the pen from Bogrod and signed the document. "Wonderful," smiled Bogrod. "Do you wish to see a listing of your assets and properties?"
"Yes," said Harry.
"Can I have a copy to show Dumbledore?" asked Remus.
"Only if Mr. Potter agreed," replied Bogrod.
"Of course," said Harry right away.
Handing Harry a piece of parchment, the boy began to read through it and was shocked at what he saw.
Ownership of Potter Cove in Nantucket, MA
Ownership of the Hemingways Flat, London
These were two of the properties that caught Harry's attention, but it was what was listed below that surprised him.
90% Ownership of Grunnings Drills
65% Ownership of Nimbus Racing Brooms Company
He owned Uncle Vernon's company. Okay, he owned a majority of it, but still, he owned his uncle's place of business. Harry's imagination went into overdrive, thinking of how Vernon Dursley would react to this, what color of purple would his face turn.
There were other assets and properties listed, but right now, all Harry could think of was I owned a cove and Uncle Vernon's business. As Harry and Remus walked back to the Leaky Cauldron, he looked right at the man.
"Thank you for taking me," said Harry.
"It was a pleasure," replied Remus.
"Remus, if possible, could we visit this Potter Cove during the Winter break?" asked Harry.
"Of course, though, we may have to travel by Portkey."
"Why did my parents buy property in America?"
"It was supposed to be their hiding place. Thought if it was far away from England. Eventually it became a vacation home."
Harry smiled. He had a home, he had multiple homes. He owned his Uncle's business. His life was finally beginning to be looking up.
Okay, so sorry for the late chapter, but I recently started a new job and that has been eating up a lot of my time.
So, there is a small dose of the training, I decided to have it in a small dose so that the characters would not be overwhelmed.
The Guardians have the option of attending these classes, but they are mainly going to be used to build relationships and develop characters. As seen with Harry, Ron, and Neville spending time with Hermione.
The Gringotts thing and Harry owning part of Grunnings is because that seems to be a running trend in certain fanfics, but I feel not many authors utilize this. It will come into play later on, but not until the Dursleys come back. Potter Cove will also be big.
Please forgive a grammatical errors, I recently lost my Beta tester.
Please leave a comment or a suggestion, I highly encourage it.
