The next day, the kids were just waking up from sleeping. They had managed to bring sleeping bags and other camping equipment from the mall into the theater with them. It was very fortunate of them to have found survival equipment or they wouldn't have survived for very long. Nikita and Marinette got out the kitchen supplies to prepare breakfast for their friends.

"Soup's on!" Nikita called out.

They had made pancakes for breakfast along with croissants and orange juice. The other kids were happy to have something to eat, especially since supplies were beginning to deplete. No one knows how much supplies they have left, but they know they'll eventually run out of food.

"Mmm! These pancakes are delicious." Nino said. "Yeah. We're all grateful for your cooking skills." Adrien said. "Thanks." Marinette said, blushing.

She knew all about cooking from her parents. But she felt very sad because she missed her family.

"I wish we knew where our families were." Alix said. "Me too. I miss my parents and siblings." Alya said.

Everyone stopped eating and began thinking about their missing families. It's been weeks since the apocalypse started and they hadn't seen their families in a long time. They all wondered what could've happened to them during this time of crisis. No one knows if they're even still alive, but they're too scared of the infected to even venture outside to search for them.

"Maybe Ladybug and Cat Noir could help us find our families." Rose suggested. "Yeah. They always come to help us when we need it." Max said.

Everyone else thought of the same thing: They knew they could always count on Paris' local heroes to save the day.

"Sure! Ladybug and Cat Noir will come save us from this disaster." Marinette said. "Absolutely. I'll bet they're already on their way right now to find the source of the infection." Adrien said. "Totally. Ladybug and Cat Noir always save the day. Always." Nikita said.

Meanwhile, Leon and his team were on a helicopter heading into Paris. The team looked outside and saw the city in total chaos. The site completely brought nerves to Jill and Claire. It reminded them of their time in Raccoon City before its destruction.

"Oh my god! Do you see all that carnage?" Claire asked. "Yes. It brings back some painful memories from Raccoon City." Jill said. "I know the feeling. This is all too familiar." Leon said.

Even after all these years, he still had memories of his time in Raccoon City. He came to the city to start his first job as a police officer, but never got a chance to fulfill his career. The zombies had overrun the city while he was on his first day at his job.

"I can't even begin to imagine what it was like for you all: having endured a zombie outbreak in a huge city and barely escaping with your lives." Chris said.

He was never in Raccoon City, so he never knew of the horrors his sister and teammates went through. Chris wished he had gone to Raccoon City and been with Claire all those years ago. But that was in the past, so they had to focus on the future.

"We're here! I'll drop you all off on top of this building! You'll all be on your own from here!" The pilot called out.

He steered the helicopter towards a building and landed safely on the roof. Once the team got off, the pilot lifted the helicopter off the building and flew away. Leon and the others were now all on their own from this point onward. They stared at the ruins of the city and felt a sense of guilt inside them. They felt very bad for the people of Paris, they couldn't imagine what they went through when the outbreak started. The rabies virus had taken a toll on Paris, turning the city into a near wasteland.

"I wonder how this infection first started." Jill pondered. "Yeah. We'll just have to search the city to find the source." Leon said. "Right. Come on." Chris said.

The team headed towards the door leading downwards and onto the streets of Paris to find out what's going on. Meanwhile, back at the movie theater, Nikita was staring out into the wreckage that was once Paris. Marinette and Tikki were sitting right next to her as she gathered their thoughts.

"Are you sure you want to do this, Marinette?" Tikki asked. "What other choice do we have, Tikki?" Marinette asked. "I need to know what happened to my parents."

Luka made his way onto the roof to check on Marinette. Tikki quickly hides in Marinette's purse so Luka doesn't see her.

"Is everything okay, Marinette?" Luka asked. "Yeah, I'm great. Just thinking about how we're going to get out of here." Marinette said. "I know. I'm worried about my mom. I hope she's okay." Luka said in despair.

Marinette felt a sense of sorrow for him. She knew how he felt: she misses her parents too.

"I miss my parents too. I'd do anything to see them again." She said.

Luka and Marinette hugged each other as Nikita watched. She was determined to stop the outbreak and reunite her friends with their families.

"I'll find your parents no matter what it takes." She said to herself.

Adrien and Plagg were in another room separate from their friends. They were discussing leaving the theater to search for Ladybug. Adrien needed her help in finding his father Gabriel. He was very worried for his father as he didn't want anything bad happening to him.

"It's too dangerous to leave the safe house, Adrien." Plagg stated. "My father's out there somewhere and I have to find him." Adrien said. "I can't lose another family member."

Gabriel was the only family Adrien had left ever since his mother Emilie disappeared. He didn't want to lose his father like he lost his mother. Kagami was searching for him and found the room he was in. Plagg quickly hid in Adrien's shirt so she wouldn't see him.

"Adrien, are you alright?" Kagami asked. "Yeah. I'm just thinking about my father." Adrien said. "You're worried about him, aren't you?" Kagami asked. "Yes. He's all I have left ever since mom disappeared." Adrien said somberly.

Kagami could sense sorrow in Adrien, she knew how he felt about his father going missing in the outbreak. She too wished to find her mother Tomoe since she's all that she has left of her family.

"I wish to find my mother as well. She's the only family I have left." She said. "Ladybug and Cat Noir will help us, they always do." Adrien said.

He and Kagami hugged each other while Chloe looked on with jealousy. She didn't like how close Kagami was to Adrien since she has known him her entire life.

"Ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous!" She said bitterly.

After Kagami left, Plagg came out of his hiding place and floated next to Adrien. He was glad that Kagami was here to comfort his owner.

"So we're really going to be doing this, aren't we?" Plagg asked. "What other choice do we have? I have to find my father along with Natalie and my bodyguard." Adrien said. "Okay, if you say so." Plagg said. "Plagg, claws out!" Adrien shouted.

Plagg went inside of the ring and transformed Adrien into Cat Noir. He ran upstairs to the roof and jumped from one rooftop to another. He was determined to find Ladybug and figure out where his father Gabriel was. Deep down, he hoped that Gabriel wasn't one of the infected below.

Meanwhile, Leon led his team into one of the abandoned shops and barricaded themselves inside. They were resting from fighting the infected in the city. They checked each other to make sure they weren't bitten and fortunately no one was infected.

"So. What do we do now?" Chris asked. "Now we check the monitors to see if we got any readings on potential survivors." Leon said.

Claire found a working computer and gave it to Jill. She managed to upload the government files and went through them to see what information they had so far. But as they were working, the team heard a loud noise coming from upstairs.

"What was that?!" Claire asked panicky. "Might be some infected. Stay close." Chris said as he got out his gun.

The team slowly walked upstairs to see what the noise was. When they reached the top, they saw three teenagers wearing strange costumes. One was dressed as a ladybug, one a black cat, and another in a short sleeved jumpsuit with a helmet on her head.

"Halt!" Chris shouted. "Hey, whoa! We're friendly." Cat Noir said. "Yeah. We're not here to hurt you." Ladybug said. "They're right, don't shoot!" Moonstone shouted.

The team put down their weapons and gathered their thoughts. They hadn't been expecting any superheroes on their mission. But they knew that they needed all the help they can get to figure out how this outbreak first started.

"Alright then, who wants to explain what's going on?" Leon asked. "I think I'll explain everything." Moonstone said.
