Chapter 32 War
In the Super Universe
Up just above the earth's atmosphere two alien armadas from two different realities faced each other opposing one another. Millions of small scout ships deployed from both armada's battleships and descended to the planet's surface. They all landed in thousands of random locations around the globe, a few handful at or around West City. Almost immediately after exiting their crafts, Frieza and Mortal Empire soldiers engaged each other igniting deadly battles wherever they were. Any city or community that was unfortunate enough to be near or right in the middle of an invasion/battle site was thrown into complete chaos and confusion. Many military personnel and emergency services moved in trying to stop the fights however most were scared off by their alien appearance and weapons of the enemy forces and some were getting butchered caught in the crossfire though small factions persisted alongside brave casual citizens. More invaders poured in however some elected to stay in their scout ships and engage in aerial combat with each other wreaking countless structures and vehicles, compounding the chaos and death. Interestingly some of the mortal empire soldiers that weren't totally consumed in the battles tried to save some earthlings from the Frieza forces actions. Back in space, after the last squadrons deployed, the Frieza force commander was sweating nervously not knowing what the hell was going on but he knew he needed to defeat this enemy or Frieza will have his head. Before the commander could think of a plan of attack one of the Mortal Empire ships flew in closer and fired a massive laser destroying one of the smaller Frieza force ships. "Men! Attack!" The commander ordered angrily through the communicator to all his ships. Instantly all the Frieza force ships moved in, some scattering into different positions. The mortal empire countered by doing the same. The two armies blew up into a epic space battle, firing lasers and maneuvering around each other mortal empire ships in particular using their ships themselves as weapons crashing into Frieza force ones.
Back on the surface, on top of a building a fair distance away from the battleground in the middle of the city, Beerus and Whis were observing the fight and taking notice of the invasion. "Well things is starting to get rather hairy now" Beerus contemplated he and Whis taking notice of the Mortal Empire elite along with Cell arrive at the battlefield and the war breaking out above and around the world. "Indeed" Whis agreed plainly then taking a glance over and spotting Kibito Kai and GT Pan in his arms floating close to the main battle site. Him and Beerus teleported over to the GT reality Kai. "Wha?! Beerus?!" Kibito Kai exclaimed extremely shocked, almost dropping GT Pan out of his arms. "You should come with us Kai, it's gonna get messy here soon" Beerus said affirmatively before Whis teleported the four of them back to where they were before. Future Mai standing in the yard of Capsule Corp was mentally overwhelmed by everything going on around her. Her boyfriend was fighting alongside Goku , the z warriors and some other strange alien group against both Frieza, Phoenix and now more dangerous looking alien beings with their minions landing and then killing each other. Her fear and confusion quickly grew into anger as she began witnessing other innocent human victims getting injured and/or killed by the warring factions. She did notice that some humans were standing up and fighting despite the odds. Inspired she called out "I'm coming! Let's get them together!" As she ran over to the struggling crowd of vigilantes pulling out her gun. "Take this!" Future Mai shouted shooting a soldier who was about to shoot a father and his teenage daughter dead. "Thank you!" The father thanked gratefully picking him and his daughter up off the ground. "Don't mention it just go! Get yourselves and others to safety!" Mai yelled out. After the father and daughter ran off, Future Mai jumped onto a street light putting her gun in the air getting the attention of other human vigilantes and a fraction of the alien soldiers . "Those of you that feel like they can fight, stay with me and we'll drive these guys back home! We can do it! Who's with me?!" Future Mai shouted out. Empowered by Future Mai's speech, the crowd cheered wordlessly agreeing to band together and save their city from the alien invasion. "Ha pretty words bitch, but there not gonna do you earthlings any good" a Frieza force soldier says snidely him and five others of his kind breaking off the main conflict in the background and aiming their weapons at the crowd which were all without weapons except Future Mai. Just then a huge motorcycle rode in, running over and killing the six threatening frieza soldiers. "Maybe not alone but with these nifty little guys we might make an impression" a blond sharp mouthed woman said. It was Launch having arrived on motorcycle which had a metal box chained to it. "Come on wussies, you wanna send these freaks back home then we gotta pump some lead into them!" Launch encouraged breaking the metal box open with a crowbar revealing it to contain an arsenal of guns and ammunition. Future Mai and the crowd excitedly cheered grabbing everything gun they could carry loading them up with ammo. "You know your stuff" Future Mai complimented overlooking Launch's choice in weaponry. "You aren't so bad yourself missy" Launch complimented back. "Alright let's do this!" Both girls shouted confidently charging into the warring alien forces, their small army of vigilantes right behind them.
Meanwhile back at the battlefield
Super Goten along with his alternate selves and their allies were left aghast, both l sensing the immense power of their latest enemies to arrive on the scene and the total pandemonium erupting above and around them. Merely a minute ago they were making headway with Frieza, Phoenix and the baby controlled z warriors, now they felt like ants standing in the middle of a hurricane. "Goten, nice to see you again, and your family is here too, what a wonderful surprise, I've got my own right here, we're gonna have so much fun" Cell sarcastically asked snickering, his offspring laughing near him. Gohan and MC Goten growled in anger, seeing their old bug like enemy in the flesh again. " Daddy can we help you fight those meanies that hurt you?!" One of the cell juniors asked, referring to Gohan and MC Goten. Cell looked at his children's excited faces and then back at the angry looking son brothers that had or attempted to kill him. Something within him was making him nervous about letting his children fight. Memories of his previous batch of offspring popped in his mind and although the memory never bothered him before, now he was scared by it and worried the same could happen to the children he had now. Something else in him however also didn't want to make them sad. Cell couldn't fathom what these feelings were but whatever they were they made him feel better yet worse at the same time. "Alright kids you can help, but if you start hurting a lot or you think you can't handle it then break off and come back to me understand?" Cell said to his children kindly yet sternly. "Yes daddy!" All the cell juniors agreed happily in unison. Gohan, Piccolo and Future Trunks couldn't help but blink twice in confusion and disbelief at Cell's care and concern for his kids. He definitely didn't do anything like that the last time they saw him or other versions of him in their realities. Frieza and Phoenix were practically spinning their heads dumbfounded and overloaded with everything transpiring around them. "What the devil is happening?! What is that army doing attacking mine?! Who are these freaks?!" Frieza screamed out frantically. "The fuck is going on?! Where are all these mortals coming from?!" Phoenix screamed in an equally frantic way. "I hate to say it but I agree with him for once, what is going on? Who are these guys?" Future Trunks asked worryingly. "Eh, long story short, one of the Goten's timelines is in the middle of a major war and now that war is coming here" Super Trunks summarized the situation as best he could to his GD future counterpart. Super Goten was staring off shaking and tearing up seeing all the destruction his own mistake had caused and now it was spreading to his own world. "So this is where you two were hiding huh? Pretty devious, trying to hop realities" Deathstroke fake commended looking down at IW Goten and Shadow holding the three chaos emeralds they used to transport themselves to this reality. IW Goten snarled at Deathstroke. "Shadow, haven't you realized that I control reality itself? Surely you should have known that simply skipping dimensions would not have you from us ha ha ha" Infinite belittled Shadow laughing mockingly. Shadow grunted narrowing his eyes in silent anger. "Well whatever you rebelling vermin were planning it stops now! Turn yourselves over and relinquish your chaos emeralds and maybe we won't hurt your other dimension allies!" Starscream threatened giving his terms of surrender. "Better comply peasants or else things will get rather heated for you" Azula added snidely. "Go to hell! Your not getting your claws on our emeralds! We need them to use the dragon balls and revive a dead universe!" IW Goten yelled out defiantly. "What?!" Phoenix exclaimed in shock hearing IW Goten's words. Korra, Venom and Deadpool also gained surprised and confused expressions. "We'll explain later, trust me it's important" Shadow assured his teammates. "Revive a dead universe? Whatever for? To run away? Ha ha ha! And here we thought you were warriors fighting for your futile lives and beliefs!" Infinite mocked the resistance fighters. "We never run and we'll never stop fighting! Ahhhh!" IW Goten screeched as he powered up and transformed into his bestial green super Saiyan form. "Hmph very well, if you insist" Deathstroke said throwing the three chaos emeralds on his person to Infinite and then cracking his neck and knuckles prepping himself for a fight. His one eye's attention was diverted when a demonic scream was heard and he saw Phoenix charging towards him. "I need the dragon balls! You and your mortal scum companions shall all die!" Phoenix screamed in a fury conjuring a ki blade in his hand and swinging it at Deathstroke. The blade however just disintegrated upon contact with Deathstroke's head, not no much as making the general flinch. "W-what?!" Phoenix backed away stuttering in disbelief, his attack affected this guy like a gentle breeze despite packing enough power to slice open a building made of Kachi Katchin in two. "Was that supposed to hurt? Azula! Deal with this clown" Deathstroke ordered not wanting to waste time with an opponent beneath him. "I suppose I'll do that Slade, but you owe me afterwards" Azula said teasing Deathstroke again who just grunted in annoyance. Azula let out a blaze of blue fire, making Phoenix boost himself away from the flames a few further back. "Hey! That's my thing! Oh do you mortals ever cease to disrespect your god with this blasphemous mockery!" Phoenix questioned furiously. Cell, his children and the two lead mortal empire generals broke off from each other to engage their chosen targets, Infinite to face Shadow and Deathstroke to IW Goten. "I'm ready for our rematch Goten" Cell said him and his children flying over to MC Goten, MC Krillin, Gohan and Piccolo. "Krillin, you, Gohan and Piccolo deal with the Cell's kids, I'll handle Cell myself" MC Goten said seriously. "Are you sure?" MC Krillin asked uncertain. "I'll be fine Krillin, remember I learned that neat thing" MC Goten reassured winking his eye. MC Krillin smiled in knowing and he along with Gohan and Piccolo flew to the side to deal with the cell juniors. "Goku, we should go help them, those guys are insanely strong!" GD Goten suggested referring to his IW counterpart and his team against the Mortal Empire elites. "But what about him?" Goku said pointing at Phoenix who was readying to attack Azula again. "We can handle him" GT Goten said confidently GT Trunks and Bulla standing beside him. "And we'll be sure to leave him alive" GT Trunks added. "What?!" Why would we keep him alive?! He murdered our dad!" Bulla wailed in anger. "I know how you feel Bulla and believe me I want Phoniex dead too, but we need to keep him alive, if we don't then something worse could happen, understand?" GT Goten explained as best he could to Bulla. Bulla growled in frustration but did simmer down. The three GT universe warriors flew over shooting ki blasts getting Phoenix's attention as they touched down to face the demon. "Alright let's go!" GD Goten said him along with Goku, his Super Counterpart, Super and Future Trunks flew over to Venom, Korra, Bumblebee and Deadpool to face Azula and Starscream. "Hey Phoenix! You ever see this with mortals?!" GT Goten yelled out. "Huh?" Phoenix muttered unsure of what his GT counterpart was talking about. Then from around their waists GT Goten and Trunks revealed their regrown tails after disguising them as belts. They then let out a scream, powering up and transforming into into Super Saiyan fours. "Holy crap! You guys got super Saiyan four?!" Bulla said in happy shock and surprise. "What the heck is that ridiculous form?! Now you two look more primitive than you already did!" Phoenix asked thinking the two GT fighters had just de evolved. How wrong he was going to be proven. Meanwhile Cell and MC Goten were staring each other down before cell smirked. "Allow me to show you my improved perfection" Cell said cockily. "Tck if you were already perfect than how could you improve it? Plus I beat you" MC Goten retorted. "Ha ha not this time" Cell said in a low voice. Cell then screamed a bright yellow brownish light consuming his body. MC Goten had to cover his eyes to keep himself from being blinded. The light faded showing a new Cell. His previously lime green skin with black spots was how a shiny smooth bronze color and his yellow boot like feet had turned silver. "Woah..." MC Goten muttered impressed by the massive increase in Cell's energy. "Ha ha I see I've left you speechless, don't worry, your corpse will speak for you" Cell said snidely. MC Goten grinned at Cell, not taking his omen seriously. "I haven't slacked at all Cell, I got something cool to show you too" MC Goten boasted. "Oh is that so? Well then by all means, show me" Cell approved eager to fight MC Goten at his best. To Cell's bewilderment, instead of raising his ki or screaming, MC Goten closed his eyes, took a deep breath, lowered his ki to near zero and then just hovered in the same spot. He had practically frozen like a statue. Cell waited for what felt like five minutes before he had enough. "What the hell is this?! You're just standing there! Attack me!" Cell screamed in frustration. MC Goten didn't respond, it was like he was sleeping or meditating not aware of anything. "Grr! Have you gone deaf?! Attack! Do something!" Cell yelled in frustration. Again no response. Cell growled and charged towards MC Goten to deliver a fatal punch, only for his fist to be caught by MC Goten's hand. "What?!" Cell exclaimed, MC Goten's hand had moved so fast with such precision and yet his eyes were still closed. He tried for a kick, but it once again met with another equally fast and precise block. Before the bio android could ponder any further, he noticed that MC Goten had begun to glow with a strange energy around him, his hair standing up slightly. MC Goten, with eyes still closed spun cell around then blasted him off with an invisible burst of energy. Cell recovered just in time to witness the strange aura of energy intensify around MC Goten before his hair turned completely white and stood up. He finally opened his eyes, revealing them to have changed from their usual black to grey with divine depth within them. MC Goten had achieved Ultra Instinct.
In the MC Universe
Bulma and Launch stood frozen in fear, horror and Baby did too with curiosity at the ghostly looking being, not knowing its name was Xavier. It's breathing could be faintly heard as it stared at the odd group. "Who are you?" Baby asked in a fascinated tone. He didn't receive an answer, the entity just turned its head slightly to look at him more directly. It's black canvas eyes gave Baby chills down his nonexistent spine and made him feel uneasy sweating a little. Launch was shaking and crying over the murder of Dutch, the best boyfriend she'd ever had since Tien years ago. Her grief quickly morphed into rage. "You son of a bitch!" Launch screamed and in a blinding fury aimed her shotgun and shot twenty rounds worth of ammunition into Xavier. The bullets struck Xavier and seemed to make him stutter and fall to the ground dead. Launch slowly tip toed closer gun still aimed to the body to see if it was dead. When she got right on top of the body, she heard no more breathing and saw the bullet holes in the chest area. "He's dead, it's over" Launch stated, victorious but sadness was still laced in her heart. Bulma breathed a sigh of relief but Baby narrowed his eyes in suspicion. Suddenly he sensed something. Something bad. "Launch! Get away! It's a trap! He's not dead!" Baby screamed frantically. "Huh?!" Launch said startled and confused. Before she could move a centimeter, Xavier rapidly got back up, pulled out a bloodied knife and stabbed Launch twice in her abdomen and midriff. Bulma backed away screaming in terror while Launch screamed in pain, dropping her gun and clutching her wounded body. Xavier then picked up the shotgun with his other hand. Launch though wounded and now without a weapon, wasn't going down without a fight. Removing one of her hands from her bleeding stomach, she threw a punch. The punch was met however with an upper block by Xavier's knifed up hand. He then brought his hand down breaking her arm and slicing it open with the knife. Launch's scream of agony was cut short Xavier striking her in the jaw with the shotgun, pinning her against the wall. Xavier then took the gun and impaled Launch to the wall with it, driving it through her chest. Launch gagged convulsing with bloody tears then let out her last gasp of breath, dropping dead. "Noooo! Aaaahahaha!" Bulma cried in utter terror and despair. Her wail got Xavier's attention and he slowly turned to look at her and started marching towards his next victim. "Hey over here you monster!" Baby shouted out feigning a heroic tone, trying to lure this man to both fool Bulma more and so he could fight him and gage his strength. It worked as Xavier stalled in his path and turned his head to face Baby. Baby charged a large ball of purple electrical ki and fired it at Xavier. It made a big powerful explosion, knocking the nearby Bulma out of balance and falling down to the floor. Baby panted as he waited to see the results of his attack. He and Bulma were shocked and horrified respectively to see Xavier not only unaffected but walking towards Baby like nothing happened. When Xavier got close enough, Baby tried to punch him in the face but with faster than light reflexes Xavier caught it with his free hand. Said hand then started squeezing and crushing Baby's fist. "Ahhhh!" Baby screamed in pain squirming to get free as he's hand bled and deformed until it was crushed entirely by Xavier's immense strength. Before Baby had a chance to recover, Xavier kicked his knees, shattering them, sends Baby tumbling down. Baby couldn't even let out a weep as Xavier grabbed his mouth with one hand and his throat with the other and started bashing it against the wall. Baby tried with all his might to get Xavier off of him but his efforts were futile. Even using his full power wasn't doing anything to this man. It was like he didn't even feel it, just kept bashing away at him. "Is he even a man?" Baby questioned in his mind, knowing from his experiences inside other people that normal humans weren't known for their strength. Suddenly Xavier was shot in the head though it had no effect on him other making him pause his assault. It was Bulma having grabbed a revolver, still pointing it at Xavier. "Leave him alone!" Bulma screamed furiously trying to sound fearsome but her fear was given away by her profuse sweating and shaking. Xavier let go of Baby and promptly marched over towards Bulma. "Ahhh!" Bulma screamed in pure fear and terror frantically firing her gun at the killer psycho. The murderer kept his pace and composure despite the bullets clearly hitting him and eventually stabbed Bulma in her shoulder making her hutch onto the wall and drop her gun. Baby looked on as the killer watched Bulma suffer and desperately try to get back up. A devilish idea came to him. "Yes! This being is clearly very strong! I shall claim his body and make my way back to the other reality where I shall exterminate the saiyans once and for all!" Baby plotted in his mind. The parasitic alien morphed into his gel state slithering over until he finally jumped onto Xavier. Finding a small cut on his hand, Baby entered Xavier's body, the killer bizarrely not trying to resist. For a few moments Xavier stood in place like a statue, not appearing to be distressed at all. Then about a minute later, Baby let out a terrified scream heard from within Xavier. The parasitic being rapidly exited Xavier's body through the same cut and reformed into his humanoid form. He was lying on the floor, panting heavily, sweating and shaking while whimpering and muttering incoherently. Now he was acting somewhat like what his name would make one think he'd do. "W-w-what a-are you...? Baby asked completely petrified. When Baby infiltrated Xavier's body, he entered his mind and heart as per usual with his possessions in the past. However when he attempted to take control, he was overwhelmed and horror struck to find nothing but darkness. Usually when Baby possessed a being he would see the being's soul, feel its feelings and the reasons for how the soul came to be that certain way. But there wasn't anything resembling that in Xavier for baby to control or change. No reason and no feelings for anyone or anything. There was barely a soul at all and said soul was made up of something not human or saiyan. Blackness, pure and simple, evil. Xavier stared at the horrified Baby as if to mentally torment him even more. "No no! Stay away! Stay away from me!" Baby screeched in terror, getting up and running away. "Help me!" Bulma screamed desperate for Baby's help, but he was more concerned about saving himself. Xavier looked back her again and reached out his hand for her. Baby ran down the hallway and into a storage unit. He pulled out the three chaos emeralds he brought with him. "Come on! How do these blasted emeralds work?!" Baby shouted frustrated trying to get the chaos emeralds to open another portal. A bloodcurdling girl's scream erupted throughout the science complex, most likely Bulma. Baby's ears ringed at the deafening loudness and he grew more and more afraid. He started shaking and hitting the emeralds but to no avail. Taking a moment a breath, Baby then heard slow, methodical footsteps, getting slightly louder each step. Xavier was on Baby's tail. "Come on! Come on! Take me anywhere! Anywhere!" Baby shouted panicking for his life. Eventually Xavier appeared by the doorway of the storage unit, holding what looked like a human spine having been ripped out from its body dripping blood. It was Bulma's indicated by the strands of blue hair at the top of the spine. Baby turned around and screamed in fear before resuming his desperate escape attempt. "Please! Work! Please!" Baby yelled out horsely out of time and options. Xavier marched slowly to Baby severed spine in hand. He seemed to spot the emeralds and paused his march tilting his head, seemingly curious and interested in them. In seconds however he resumed. Then a miracle happened, the emeralds glowed white and opened a portal to an unknown location.
Back in the Super Universe
The war was escalating on almost all fronts. Goku along with Super Trunks, GD and Super Goten were helping Deadpool, Venom, Korra and Bumblebee fight off Azula and Starscream, IW Goten was battling Deathstroke and Shadow with Infinite, Gohan, MC Krillin and Piccolo were dealing with the cell juniors, Vegeta was battling Frieza solo, GT Goten, Trunks and Bulla were duking it out with Phoenix and MC Goten was having the rematch of the century with the newly bronzed form Cell, all while Frieza force and mortal empire battalions combated each other and the human riots led by Future Mai and Launch. "Why! Can't l! I! Hit! You?!" Cell asked angrily throwing several kicks, punches and ki blasts at MC Goten but his godly white glowing body just kept avoiding them seemingly on its own without any input from MC Goten himself. "Ha ha! You tell me! I'm literally putting no thought into this! Ha ha!" MC Goten replied telling the truth though he gave no explanation. "Oh you think your being cute?!" Cell yelled in anger creating two Destro Disks and throwing them at MC Goten. "Bitch I'm adorable!" MC Goten boasted jumping onto one disk and his hand catching the other. "Weee! This is fun cell! You got any other fun toys?!" MC Goten asked jokingly. Cell growled in frustration and fired a Galick gun at the preteen. MC Goten retaliated by throwing the Destro disk he caught before then jumping off the one he was riding on seconds before the beam hit. In the air he recaptured the disk he threw and it along with himself flew around the beam to right above cell himself and plunged down with the Destro disk slicing Cell in two with it. "Holy crap! I never knew my body could be this awesomely badass without me telling it what to do!" MC Goten exclaimed happily admiring his new ability. Cell regenerated his body and snarled in fury. "I will end you!" Cell screamed. "I think you'll die trying but knock yourself out" MC Goten said cockily gesturing with his fingers for Cell to try again. Back with Vegeta, the prince of all saiyans was having the time of his life dismantling Frieza. Nothing the space emperor threw was working. "Damn you Vegeta! I will have your hea-!" Frieza's threat was cut off by another punch in the jaw by Vegeta. "Sorry was that Frieza, I couldn't hear you over the sound of my triumph breaking your jaw! I'll try and avoid your mouth from now on but I admit that'll be pretty hard" Vegeta insulted his former ruler cruelly. Back with IW Goten, him and Deathstroke were evenly matched though it was obvious from his lack of heavy breathing that Deathstroke hadn't been going all out whereas IW Goten was giving his all. Or at least all he had as his usual self. IW Goten generated a concentrated ball of green energy in his palms before firing them at Deathstroke with a furious animalistic roar. Deathstroke caught the ball and with some struggle crushed it out of existence."Surrender Goten, you can't win" Deathstroke declared matter of factly putting his hands at his sides. "Our empire is the inevitable future of the twelve universes, those who do not accept and assimilate into it willingly will be either forced to so or perish. Quit putting yourself and your loved ones through so much suffering, all the pain will stop and we can create a new better existence for all as soon as you surrender" Deathstroke promised sounding threatening yet sincere and genuine as well, as if there was some good and honor in him. IW Goten panted heavily bruised and cut in many places still in his green bestial super Saiyan form. He was exhausted and running out of energy and options. Before he could think of anything a familiar voice spoke to him in his head. "Let me take the wheel! You know you want me to. I can make them all go away!" The goblin suggested. IW Goten's body tensed up and his eyes bulged knowing and feeling the goblin trying to take control. "No! Stay out of this! We can do this! I don't need you!" IW Goten shouted out loud clutching his head. Deathstroke cocked an eyebrow witnessing this, he had seen IW Goten do that a couple times before but it was always when he was fleeing from him or someone else in the empire. This was the first time he saw it up close and still. "You want your family to die because of them?!" The Goblin argued back internally. "N-noo.." IW Goten answered strained. "Well they will unless you let me out! Lose your inhibitions and we'll mutilate these people straight down to hell!" The Goblin said trying to bait IW Goten. Meanwhile with Shadow, Infinite was summoning several red cube attacks. Some were just singular cubes flying at shadow while others coalesced into large, complex, intricate traps and mechanisms. Shadow barely managed to dodge them all with a mixture of skill and perfectly timed chaos control. Infinite's power were being enhanced by the three chaos emeralds in his possession so Shadow was left on the ropes. "Ha ha ha! How does it feel Shadow?! To feel pathetic and weak! Just like you made me feel on that fateful day!" Infinite bellowed out, referring to the day Shadow humiliated him during a job he was doing for Dr Eggman. "Tch, you really are pathetic if you're still hung up about that and you had it coming when you signed up to work for the old doctor" Shadow bit back with a hint of disgust. "Heh heh, perhaps you have a point shadow, all my life I was considered worthless and feeble by everyone even my own parents, but my humiliation at your hands was the day it all changed and my defeat by sonic was just a speed bump in the road towards attaining the ultimate strength! Now! With the chaos emeralds I can truly bring your worst nightmares to life!" Infinite announced his phantom ruby glowing and vibrating along with his three emeralds. Between Infinite and Shadow, red energy cubes manifested into existence. Instead of flying to attack or take the shape of a weapon however, they changed color and shape until they took the form of a young girl that Shadow knew a long time ago, Maria. "Maria?!" Shadow exclaimed in disbelief, part of him feeling or wanting it to really be her. "Shadow, I'm here! I missed you so much" The Maria illusion said sounding genuine and real. "I...missed you too" Shadow muttered feeling a lot of different emotions rising to the surface. "Come on Shadow, I wanna be with you again" The Maria illusion said offering her hand to Shadow. Shadow floated slowly closer to her putting out his hand to take hers. When he was inches away from touching, Maria's sweet innocent face instantly morphed into an evil creepy one and her extended hand conjured up a white beam of light that pierced Shadow in his chest. "Ahhh!" Shadow gurgled in pain, throwing up blood from his mouth as it cascaded from his wound. "M-maria?" Shadow muttered weakly not believing what he was seeing, his old friend and inspiration for protecting life had stabbed him. His delusions were shattered when the fake Maria let out an insane laugh as her voice changed becoming deeper and her body morphed into another familiar figure but with a completely different history, Mephiles The Dark. "Your friend is gone Shadow as will humanity will be eventually very soon! All because you were too weak to save them. Ha ha ha!" The Mephiles illusion taunted laughing manically. Shadow gawked at Mephiles his mind blown and heart still freshly broken coming to grips with everything. Mephiles yanked out his light blade making Shadow painfully fumble backwards until he was grabbed in a bear huh by yet another illusion of a familiar being, Black Doom. "You should have let me and the Black Arms devour the humans all those years ago, maybe then they wouldn't be suffering like they are now! Ha ha ha!" The Black Doom taunted with his gruff monstrous voice. Black Doom threw the weakened Shadow towards the ground, whose descent was accelerated by a hit of a tail from an allusion of the Bio Lizard. After smacking into the gravel, Shadow slowly and limply tried to get back up. "Why continue to fight a losing fight Shadow? Your clearly too weak to win" Black Doom belittled Shadow. "And even you weren't, in the end nobody will be grateful for your efforts so why not help their demise along by joining us?" Mephiles proposed him and Black Doom laughing the Bio Lizard looming over the three of them. Shadow breathed heavily hearing his two greatest foe's voices. "Ha ha ha! How about it Shadow? I'm sure Maria would have preferred you living over these fools! Ha ha!" Infinite said floating to hover beside his creations. That was the last straw for Shadow his eyes shooting open bloodshot full of rage. It might have been years since he last heard her, but he knew Maria would never sacrifice other people's lives and he was not gonna allow this bastard or his bastardized illusions say otherwise. "CHAOS BLAST!" Shadow screamed enraged violently standing up and releasing an enormous volume of pure chaos energy for blocks, destroying the three illusions of his past enemies and injuring Infinite. Before the villain could regain his bearings, Shadow Chaos controlled to right in front of him and round house kicked him in the face. With Goku, him, Bumblebee, Venom, Super and GD Goten had teamed up to take on Starscream while Super Trunks, Korra and Deadpool battled Azula. "Eat this autobot!" Starscream yelled launching several missiles from his back at Bumblebee who narrowly avoided them, each was about the size of a full grown person. "Woah!" Goku yelled getting hit by one of the missiles. "Those things might look like regular missiles but they pack way more of a punch" Goku remarked grunting in pain clutching his side. "Ow!" Venom roared in agony as one of the missiles exploded midair and released intense sound waves. "Yeah and loud too!" Venom said hatefully. "Eep!" Super Goten exclaimed seeing seven missiles heading right for him, he froze in uncertainty and fear. "It's ok, I'll help" GD Goten said to boost his super counterpart's confidence. Super Goten smiled easing up getting into a stance alongside his GD counterpart. GD flew up drawing up a ki blade, however unlike his previous blades which were pink and perfectly shaped, this one was purple and a little deformed with purplish particles around it. "Hakai Blade!" GD Goten yelled swinging his blade striking four of the incoming missiles. As it's name suggested the ki blade was laced with destroyer energy. At first it seemed to have no effect on the projectiles but then they glowed purple and dissolved into nothingness. "Kaioken times ten!" Super Goten exclaimed his blue aura doubling over with a red one. Utilizing the boost in power, Super Goten leaped over one missile, then grabbed it while flipping around and throwing it back making it collide with another missile. He managed to destroy the last one by firing a massive blast of of ki. Super Goten powered down out of Kaioken panting slightly to catch his breath. "Nice job, me! Ha ha!" GD Goten laughed goofily his Super counterpart joining him. Their laughter was interrupted when Starscream flew in ramming into GD Goten. "See if you think this is funny!" Starscream shouted having transformed into his jet form zooming to the surface at lightning speed intending to kamikaze GD Goten. Then Venom threw up a glob of his own black goo onto Starscream's windshield. "Ahh I can't see!" Starscream exclaimed, the windshield evidently being his eyes in his jet state, making him slow down and fly erratically. Bumblebee then fired stinger shots at Starscream further disorienting the decepticon. Finally Goku flew in grabbing GD Goten and punching Starscream away. "Are you ok?" Goku said holding the GD version of his son lightly by his shoulders. GD Goten looked at Goku for a moment before grunting looking away and lightly squirmed out of Goku's grasp. "I'm fine, thanks" GD Goten said looking opposite of Goku's face, showing gratitude but with lingering resentment. With Super Trunks, he and Deadpool had devised a rather simple strategy to defeat Azula. Drive her crazy. "Hey fire lady! If you're so hot on the inside, how come you're not so hot on the outside!" Super Trunks taunted Azula. "Yeah! You said it! Not even I would do her and I have incredibly low standards! Seriously! I'd sooner bang a rat then mrs rosie o donnel here!" Deadpool added to the insult. Azula was enraged by these insults making her inattentive and left her wide open for Korra to sweep her into a tornado then a vortex of water. "Dude you have got to teach me some of your insults! Their hilarious!" Super Trunks asked hopefully. "Oh please don't encourage him..."Korra sighed in annoyance. "Yes my son, I will teach you the ways of Deadpooleo the amazzzing!" Deadpool agreed mimicking a old sensei. Back with GT Goten, he along with Bulla, GT and Future Trunks were darting around a frantic angry Phoenix. "Can't I ever be rid of you?! Neither of us have time!Die already!" Phoenix screamed referring to GT Pan who's time was rapidly approaching firing another beam of black ki. "You killed my brother and got my niece sick! Your not going anywhere with her!" GT Goten yelled back firing a red Kamehameha at the demon. Phoenix prepared to counter with his own but was stopped by Future Trunks slicing his back with his sword and Bulla punching him on his leg. GT Trunks joined his friend in the air. "Finish Buster" GT Trunks shouted launching the orange ball of energy and meeting with GT Goten's Kamehameha to collide with Phoenix simultaneously. The demon was sent careening into a building. He quickly blasted himself out though clearly very wounded now. Meanwhile Gohan, Piccolo and MC Krillin were fighting with the cell juniors. The three held back somewhat though as they felt these cell juniors were different than the ones they fought in both their respective pasts. They didn't seem like they were really craving bloodlust, it seemed like they just wanted to please their father. "Why are you guys fighting us?" MC Krillin asked sincerely. "To make our daddy happy!" One junior said. "You guys were mean to him! Now we be mean to you!" Another junior said. "Plus if we don't, those other meanies will hurt daddy!" Yet another junior said. The three fighters eyes widened at these claims, these cell juniors had miraculously developed some level of love and affection for cell. And if their this dedicated to their father, was it possible cell was reciprocating it? "Does your father...love you back?" Gohan asked wondering. "Of course he does! He played with us just before we came here to beat you bullies up!" One junior shouted defending their father. "Unbelievable" Piccolo muttered in shock. Now the three of them hovered still, unsure how to proceed with the situation.
Just as all fighters were gearing up each other for another round, a portal opened near the baby controlled z warriors who were just regaining consciousness. This got their and all the fighters attention plus some nearby people and soldiers of both armies on the ground and the air halting the war in that particular area. "Oh great! Now who's coming out of that?!" Super Krillin asked in over his warped head from all the other reality invaders. He got his answer when Baby jumped out of the portal in a frenzy. "Baby!" All the brainwashed z warriors yelled out in joy at the return of their master. "What did they just call him?" Cell asked totally weirded out by the exclamations of the z warriors. "Yeah! Baby's actually he's name ha ha ha! Bet ya their gonna suck pacifiers in worship of him! Ha ha ha!" Deadpool said making fun of the parasitic tuffle's absurd name again. Baby didn't respond to anyone as he quickly turned back around looking at the portal and extended his hands with the four emeralds he had. "Close! Close!" Baby yelled at the portal scared shitless. "What's wrong master?" Tien asked him and everyone else confused by Baby's terrified state. "There's something on the other side! It's evil itself!" Baby answered practically screaming as his efforts to close the portal were proving ineffective. "Close! Close! Damn it clo- gahhh!" Baby's desperate cries were stopped as a boney spear of some kind came through the portal going through his mouth. A hand then came through grabbing Baby's head its fingers digging into and piercing Baby's eyeballs as he was then violently pulled back into the portal. "Baby!" The z warriors yelled in shock and concern for their master. The other fighters were equally stunned by the scene, staring at the still open portal to see if anything else would happen. Sure enough half a minute later something flew out of the portal, the mangled clinging to life body of baby, he was so torn apart he was barely recognizable. Everyone turned back at the portal as they heard heavy footsteps and there they saw Baby's assailant. It was something straight out of a horror movie. Stepping out of the portal just before it closed, there stood Xavier, still masked, bloodied and holding a spinal cord in one hand and a knife in another. The sight made even the likes of Phoenix and Frieza freeze in fear. If the Gotens and their allies thought they were facing hell now, they hadn't seen anything yet.
