Author's notes: OK guys, this is my first poem about a character from the Night World. It's not one of the original characters from the books, though :) I'll give yas some clues as to who it is. They're a character in my Night World fan fic "The Legends: The Scrolls Of The Black Catkin". Their nickname is the same as one of the characters from Grease. Also the last line of the poem might give ya a bit of a clue :) Anyone who guess's correctly who the poem's about, is free to use the small fictional town of "Little Brook" from my fan fic, for their fan fic, if they wish to do so :) (just give me credit where it's due, please :))
Remembering A Dream
V1) I dreamt about you again last night
With your sapphire blue eyes and hair
the colour of moonlight
I ran to you though I don't know your name
I know it's strange, but this dream always
remains the same
V2) You wrapped me up in your gentle embrace
I gladly welcomed it and looked up into
your tender face
As a thought came to my mind as we looked at each other
I wondered "Where you the one I once called 'Mother'"?
V3) Then you laughed quietly and mussed up my hair
Normally I hate people doing that, but I didn't care
And then you looked into my rainbow eyes and smiled
And whispered gently to me, "I still love you,
my sweet little Dragon Child"
Author's note2: In case any of yas are wondering, no I haven't given up writing "The Legends: The Scrolls Of The Black Catkin". It's just taking me a while 'cause of stupid writer's block *sheepish grin* Don't worry though, I've started working on Part 20, and it will be up as soon as it's done :) If any of yas haven't read TL:TSOTBC, yet, please check it out and review it :)
