Chapter 951.
"Orchid Problems."

(October 10. McBride Residence. Royal Woods, Michigan.)

Lincoln Loud and Jordan Rosato arrive and are surprised when they see Clyde, and Chloe. But Clyde looks upset and scared, and they all look to the dead flower, and then Jordan asks. "So, mind telling us why this orchid is dead?"

Lincoln then speaks. "Looks like it's dying in my perspective."

Clyde then explains. "No, it is dead and it is all my fault. The orchid was watered 12 hours ago, and it doesn't need extra watering, it is very fragile and very sensitive like my dad, Howard. But the cause of the death is... My cats." they see Nepurrtiti and Cleopawtra in their pet carrier, and they try to look cute and innocent.

Lincoln is confused. "Wait, so the cats killed the orchid? Did they poop in the pot?"

Chloe then explains. "Nope, they didn't. But after Clyde watered some of the plants in the house, he left the watering can on the table, and then the cats knocked it over."

Clyde then goes onto his knees. "This is all my fault! My dads are gonna be furious when they find out about this! When this Orchid blooms, my dad cries tears of pure emotion and joy because the blooming of this orchid is a rare sight and comes only a couple of years and the emotion from my dad keeps getting emotional every time, and it has been the symbol of their love ever since they're very first date!"

Lincoln, Jordan and Chloe are surprised, and now this looks serious. Because this symbol of their love is now a symbol of dead, ouch. "Alright, alright. Everyone calm down!" yelled Lincoln. "Look, we just need to know what kind of orchid this is, and then we can find a new one and..."

"Got it!" Jordan then uses her phone, and she reads what this orchid is all about. "It is called the Eternal Love Orchid, and it is located in a remote swamp in Michigan, and has to be in the right balance of flora and fauna residing there, a strong and steady balance of life. But the issue is that the terrain is harsh and unforgiving."

This surprises them and then Clyde asks. "Is there a different swamp that might have it?"

"Wait!" Lincoln then realizes. "I think I know where we can find one, without getting maimed and traumatized and in trouble with everyone who might be wondering where we are!" This surprises them, and they all follow him.

But Chloe stops and then asks. "Guys, what the heck do we do with the dead orchid?"

Clyde panics. "We cannot let my dad's see this!" He then has a fake orchid and then he places it in the pot, but then he looks to the dead orchid in his hands. "But, I don't know about the orchid? Do we use it for compost?"

Lincoln has an idea. "Let me take it off your hands, Lucy might love this since she has been trying to make her flowers look wilted away, and yet for some reason they look alive." They don't know how to respond to that one.

(Tall Timbers Park.)

We arrive here, and it is somewhere deep near the woods, where a part of the Lake is swampy and has a lot of Pokémon residing here, making it a perfect environment for any flora to adapt and survive, and the four teenagers walk by some Venusaur and Meganium, and they even avoid a sleeping Swampert and Shiftry.

Chloe then asks. "So, how the heck did you come by this orchid, Linc?"

Jordan then asks as well. "Yeah, I'm so confused."

Lincoln then explains. "Two days ago, Lana and I were here to check on the Fishman's, and their kids. They traveled to the swampy areas where it seemed to have more food for them, and then I saw the orchid and paid no attention to it, but I recall where it is, and there she is!"

They all spot it and they all speak. "The Eternal Love Orchid!" But they are baffled, they see several more. A lot of them.

They all look towards Lincoln and he speaks. "Huh, did not see this coming. I saw one, the others might have grown from..." they then see some Comfee and Bounsweet passing by. "Them, now that makes sense, and them too." Some Combee also fly by.

Clyde sees all the orchids. "This place is an orchid paradise and my dad's will wanna see..." Then some bushes are moved aside, and they see Harold McBride come out and he has a map which he marked. "Dad?!"

Harold sees them. "Clyde? Kids, what the heck are you all doing here?" He then sees the many orchids. "Holy Sweet Salisbury steak, why are there so many Eternal Love Orchids?!"

Jordan then answers. "Some Pokémon who can help pollinate and make the land fertile."

Harold is baffled. "Oh, okay then. Wow, did not see this coming. Anyway, I am here because I found out that someone stole the Orchid and replaced it with a fake one..."

"I did it dad!" said Clyde with tears.

This surprises Harold. "Wait, what?!"

Before Clyde can explain, Lincoln does. "Mr. McBride, now it does seem like this is all Clyde's fault, but it is not mostly his. He finished his chores, and placed the watering can on the table, and the cats knocked it over, causing water to flood the orchid's pot, and making it shrivel and perish."

Jordan then continues. "After Clyde explained the issue, we had to help him. He didn't mean to, and we all needed to make sure you and your husband didn't know. So, we came here because Lincoln knows where the flower would be, and we can only assume that you know as well."

Harold nods. "Yes, it is true. I know where the orchid is as well, and beats me the trip of going to find another one after I have accidently killed the others from before, and that also explains why the kitties are in their carrier, and I am removing their treats for the next one week."

Chloe is confused and she asks. "Wait, what did you just say?"

Harold chuckles nervously and then he explains. "Alright, so back then and several times, I accidentally killed the orchid, and I have been always replacing it by going to the South of Michigan, and to the harshest of swamps and they are not pretty, I even spent cash for some equipment and gear to get through the dangers of the swamp, but then I found out that there is one here, in Royal Woods."

"I found out about this place back when we were doing some assistance to help clean the Park, and then I took a row boat and went into the lake and checked the swamps if there is trash there, and glad there wasn't, but instead I found another orchid and thought it would be useful for when the orchid in the house died, again. I knew about this during the summer, before you kids found out."

Harold then goes to Clyde. "Sweetie, don't be that way. It's okay, the orchid has been through this a lot of times, mostly from me and this whole thing is the kitties fault. Come on, let's grab an orchid and get it home before..."

"I heard." they see Howard comes out from the bushes. "Also, there is no need to be worried about getting another one."

"Howard!"

"Dad!"

The others realize this is bad. "Oh boy."

Howard then explains. "Listen, I need to be honest. I loved the orchid Hare Bear, but it was so high maintenance to have around our lives. I had to rearrange my entire schedule around it, and even then I must have killed the orchid approximately eight times, and I replaced it because I thought you would be upset and cry because of my actions."

Lincoln, Jordan, Chloe, Clyde and Harold are surprised and confused. "Wait, what?"

Howard then continues. "I never did wanna get rid of it, because it was the symbol of our love, but deep down I wanted it to go away and plus it just kept making me so emotional all over, it was pretty much torment, and also every time it bloomed, I felt my freedom slipping away from its floral grasp, and those were not tears of joy."

Clyde then asks. "So, you're not mad that I accidentally destroyed the symbol of your love dad?"

Howard then goes over and he hugs Harold and Clyde. "I don't need a flower to be the symbol of love, you all went through a lot to get a new one, which would make me lose my mind, but it shows how much you all care." This makes Harold and Clyde emotional and they hug him.

Chloe is happy this is over, and Jordan speaks to Lincoln. "Linc, I love roses and all, but please don't get me something that might make things very stressful."

"Noted" replied Lincoln, then he sees a message from Ronnie Anne, and they both see it is the photo of Carlitos Christening, and then he asks. "Wait, why is Vito in this and why is he dressed the same way as Carlitos?"

A/N: Based on the episode called "the Orchid Grief" and I gotta say it was kinda funny, and also kinda sad, that orchid held that man with his freedom gone, dang! Also, some small mentioning from the Casagrande episode called "The Oddfather." I hope that you all enjoyed this new chapter everyone, leave a review and tell me what you guys think.
