Chapter 12: Help?

Danny was still at a loss. The Grimwood girls were here with their fathers and they all came to ask for his help. So here they were, in his living room.

"Okay...what is going on?" Danny asked.

"It's a long story...I don't even know where to start..." Sibella admits.

"Considering I'm up… I got time." Danny said.

Meanwhile

In Revolta's castle, the spider witch used what she had left from Danny Phantom ruining her castle to find the girls.

She found nothing. She saw Dracula's castle, the mummy's tomb, and even Frankenteen's lab. Nothing.

"Where are those girls?" She asked.

Her brother, meanwhile, hovered near her. He grew impatient.

"Found 'em?" He asks.

"Not yet." She answered.

"Then keep looking! The sooner we find them brats, the sooner I get to be flesh again!" He shouted.

"Even if you're alive again, it's not like your track record with women will improve or change at all." Revolta muttered.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" Repulso shouted, getting in her face.

Remembering who she's with, the spider witch tried to find a way to save face.

"I said… your track record with women will definitely improve..." She lies with a smile.

Hearing that seemed to have calmed him down.

"Definitely…" He said before hovering off.

Once he was gone, Revolta grinded her teeth, fuming with rage.

"This is all that half-human freak's fault. If he didn't stick his nose in this, I wouldn't be reduced to working with my brother. I'll get that Phantom…" She muttered.

"Danny Phantom. Remember, there's the Phantom and that one." Creeper corrected her.

In response, Revolta grabbed a nearby broom and hit him in the head with it.

"Oh, shut up!" She snapped, going back to searching through her crystal ball as Creeper whimpered.

Back at Fenton Works

"She has a brother?" Danny questioned as another thought came to him. "Is he just as ugly?"

"Even better… whatever she did to him worked too well. He's a ghost!" Frankenteen Sr went, laughing. "He's a gh-" He noticed Phantom and Phantasma scowling in disapproval at him. "Uh… not that it's that funny… or funny at all." He quickly said to save his skin.

"Nice save..." Phantom said sarcastically with an eye-roll, still ticked.

"Anyway!" Count Dracula said, trying to get back on topic. "The reason we came...is because we need your help..."

"My help?" Danny asked.

"Yes, it's no longer safe at the school and Revolta is gonna try and look for the girls at our homes, we just know it. That's why we're here, since she doesn't know where you live." The Mummy said.

Danny wanted to say but saw the pleading look from the girls and knew that they were in danger. His instincts kicked in.

"So much for my Spring break…" He muttered before smiling. "Sure. They can stay a few days."

The monster fathers seemed relieved while the girls seemed overjoyed but none more than Sibella, who closed the gap and wrapped her arms around him.

"You're fang-tastic, Danny!" Sibella went, batting her eyes as she hugged him tightly.

"Uh… sure…" Danny said, uncomfortable but also blushing.

"I think he's amazing too!" A jealous Phantasma went as he pulled him out of her grasp.

Sibella grabbed one arm as Phantasma grabbed the other, both pulling him like a game of tug-o-war.

Archie makes this look so much less stressful… Danny thought bitterly.

The other girls found this amusing, while a certain father took issue.

"Phantasma! Release him and wash your hands!" The Phantom shouted angrily.

"Stay out of this, Father!" Phantasma snapped, still trying to pry Danny out of Sibella's hands.

I know he hates me but now he's saying what I'm thinking. Danny thought as Sibella and Phanty went back to fighting over him, ignoring Phanty's angry dad.

"Looks like that ghost boy is pretty popular with two of them..." Papa Werewolf chuckled.

"I know exactly how he feels, it's just I don't see him as a threat..." Count Dracula said.

"Girls." Grimwood ordered.

Sibella and Phantasma stopped, much to the Phantom's dismay at being ignored again.

"So, do you believe you can protect them?" Count Dracula asked, sounding hopeful.

Danny sighed. He knew that having the girls here won't be easy but he can't abandon them. As crazy as they can be, they were his friends now and he had to keep them safe.

"It's no trouble. I'll look out for them..." He said with a nod.

"Good..." Grimwood said before getting up. "Come along girls, let's get our things."

As the girls followed her out of the living room as the fathers suddenly surrounded Danny.

"Now...I can trust you to take care of my precious Sibella?" He asked in a warning tone, trying to look menacing

Danny knew what he was doing and nodded.

"I promise that she'll be safe..." The ghost boy said.

"Good..." The Count said before he became sterner and his eyes glowed. "Because if anything happens to my precious daughter, it will be a bat day for you..." He warned.

"That goes for Winnie too!" Papa Werewolf said, looking less friendly and snarling.

"If you fail, I'll take you apart. Elsa is my pride and joy...so don't let me down!" Frankensteen Sr. said as he pounded a fist in his hand.

"That's right, and don't you dare touch my little girl..." The Phantom said, pointing at him.

"Yes, you better take care of Tanis and her friends, or will be dealing with one very mad mummy!" Mummy Daddy warned, his eyes glowing red.

However, to the surprise of the monster fathers, the ghost boy seemed unfazed.

"Got it, anything else you guys wanted to say?" Danny asked, looking non-pulsed.

"You...don't seem scared...at all. Not like the girl's last gym teacher..." Dracula commented.

All five of them shared equally surprised looks.

Danny wondered what he meant by that but decided he didn't want to know. He chose to be frank with them.

"Dude...I have crazed ghosts, super villains and pests threatening my life practically every day...so five monster dad's being worried about their kids doesn't really scare me. Heck, the only difference here compared to someone like Skulker is that you guys actually have a good reason to threaten me..." He pointed out, speaking so casually.

The Phantom seemed upset with this attitude and frowned.

"Disrespectful.." He said but the other father's didn't see it that way.

They actually found it kind of refreshing to be around someone who didn't cower so easily.

"If this boy can't be frightened by us, some of the biggest legends in the monster community...then that makes him perfect for the job. At least now we know that he won't be scared by that four-armed menace..." Count Dracula said, feeling relief.

"Just remember what we said. And just know that I don't know what ghosts you faced before but they are nothing compared to a foul tempered phantom such as myself..." The Phantom said, ignored by his friends while the ghost boy just rolled his eyes.

"Noted. Now unless you guys have anything else to say, I suggest leaving before you're spotted and my parents get called to come back. They don't even know I'm half ghost yet...so they might not be happy if they come across actual monsters..." He said, gesturing to the door.

"Normally, I would be against leaving my daughter in the home with ghost hunters of all things, but if they can't even tell that there is one ghost who has been living under their own roof this whole time, then they clearly aren't very good at their job..." The Phantom commented.

Danny wanted to say something but had to admit that he had a point.

"I get it..." He admitted, but still didn't like his attitude.

Once the fathers left through the door, Danny turned to the girls and noticed they were staring at him, their stuff ready.

"So, what now? Where do we sleep?" Tanis asked.

A few minutes later.

He brought the girls to the Opt center and showed them around.

"Here it is..." He said as the girls walked in and all looked around.

"What is this place?" Winnie asked as she walked in on all fours, sniffing around and scowling at how sterile the area was.

"It's my parents' Opt center...they don't use this as much as their lab, so you guys can sleep here for now until I figure out a better idea..." Danny said, knowing that he's tangled with things he didn't want to be in but he gave his word.

Sibella smiled at him, making him blush a bit.

"I am sure that it will be fang-tastic, Danny..." Sibella said.

"Yeah, sorry that there's only one bed though, I wasn't expecting so much company..." He said, rubbing the back of his head.

"Don't worry, we brought our own stuff..." Sibella said as she presented a coffin being carried by bats.

"Yeah, I don't even need a bed..." Phanty said, hovering around.

"And Elsa helped me..." Tanis said as Elsa carried in her sarcophagus, putting it down.

"You actually brought a sarcophagus here?" Danny questioned.

"Tanis is only 8 years old, so it's normal that she's not ready to sleep without it so we have to let her keep it until she's ready..." Sibella said, but the way she talked made it seem like she was talking about a kid sleeping with a night-light or something.

Danny blinked and before he could say anything, the girls started discussing where to sleep.

"I call the spot by the window. I wanna get a good look at the moon... especially since it's gonna be full in 2 days." Winnie said.

"I call this spot..." Elsa said as she placed her bag near the bathroom.

"Come, Matches. We'll take the bed." Grimwood said, carrying her dragon with her.

As the girls placed their belongings around and decided who was gonna sleep where, Danny was groaning.

Why do I get the feeling the next few days are gonna be REALLY hard? He thought.

Later

It was already past midnight and despite the girls being actual creatures of the night, they went to sleep quickly.

However Sibella still didn't go to sleep, feeling uneasy.

I know that we are here to hide from Revolta and her horrible brother...but still… The female vampire thought, blushing as she thought about her beloved hero, who was likely sleeping in his room right now

She still felt that he was her zing and was happy he didn't fear her anymore.

I wonder… if this could help us bond closer? She thought, figuring being in his home would convince him that they're soulmates.

Feeling a little restless, the female vampire decided to go get a midnight snack, maybe she can get drowsy then.

Might as well get a bite. She thought as she changed into her bat form and flew, not wanting to wake anyone up by walking down the steps. Once she flew out and made it to the kitchen, she changed back.

"Now, let's see what we have here..." She said to herself as she went to the fridge. She sighed when she saw that all the food was fresh and the kind that humans eat. "Of course..."

"Sibella, is that you?" She heard Danny call out to her.

Pulling back, she saw Danny at the table, drinking something out of a mug.

"Danny?" She asked. "You're still up?"

"Couldn't fall asleep, so I came downstairs to make some hot chocolate. Mostly because I can't drink coffee." He said.

"Wouldn't that keep you up at night?" Sibella pointed out.

Danny just placed his mug down before getting up and soon went back to talking to Sibella.

"Anyway, why are you still up? I know you're a vampire but I figure you still sleep..." He said.

"I guess I wanted a snack...is that alright?" She asked, wondering if she should have asked.

"No worries...mi casa is su casa...or whatever works, at least until they deal with spider lady and her brother..." He said, shrugging.

Sibella then took a loaf of bread.

"I guess this will do..." She said as she took a bite.

Danny blinked.

"Are you sure? I thought you didn't eat anything FDA approved?" He asked.

"I am half-human, remember... I can eat human food...except garlic...it's just not as tasty as monster food...but it won't kill me. Plus, it's not white bread, so it's a little healthier for me." She said as she ate the rest of the bread.

Well… I guess watching your weight is a thing even for monster girls. Danny thought.

"Thanks again for letting us stay here, Danny..." Sibella said, smiling at him.

"Well, I can't just leave you and your friends to deal with that nasty witch and her crazy brother all by yourselves. That's just unheroic..." He said.

"It's certainly heroic to me..." Sibella said with a smile before placing a kiss on his cheek.

The act made Danny freeze up and blush a bit, while the female vampire leaned on him as a clear act of flirtation.

Oh man...stay cool, Fenton...don't think about how...unusually pleasant this feels... Danny though.

"So… while we're sticking around, maybe you and I can spend some time together? Maybe… go on a date to prove we're soulmates?" She asked with a wink.

"D-Date? Uh… what?" Danny asks, stammering and blushing more as the vampire fluttered her eyelashes at him.

"Well, you did agree to keep us here, right?" Sibella points out.

"For now." Danny reminds her.

"Well, it almost sounds like we're living together, like most couples. I think we should at least go on one date… and no, I don't count us saving my friends from Revolta just hours ago. So, we should fix that…" She said, slightly nuzzling on his shoulder.

He felt her hand lightly brush on his.

What Danny hated right now was just how sweet her voice was right now, and how surprisingly soft her lavender skin was.

"I… uh… I don't think your dad would approve of you and your bodyguard making out or anything." He reasoned.

"Who said anything about making out, dirty boy?" She giggled.

Danny turned even redder somehow.

"I… I just thought.. Uh…" He found himself unable to speak properly.

"Even so… I would like at least one night together… just to show you how it's obvious we're meant to be." Sibella said.

"Sibella...please... If one of my enemies comes after me, I can't protect you." Danny said.

"Don't worry… I'm tougher than I look." Sibella went as she raised her arms to let her sleeves slide down and flexed. "All that volleyball does wonders."

Danny took a moment to notice how surprisingly developed the muscles in her young arms are. It caused him to momentarily stare in shock and maybe even amazement too.

"Whoa…" He accidentally admits.

Sibella noticed he was staring at her arms and an idea sprung.

"You like?" She asks, continuing to show them off.

"D-don't get any ideas…" He said, trying to look away.

"Too late." She said, lowering her arms so that her sleeves could slide back down and wrapped them around Danny. "So… Daddy's not here, and neither is Phantasma… it's just us. Why don't we have a fang-tastic time together?" She asks.

Looking into her green eyes with his blue, Danny felt himself get warm.

"Um… I guess… I-I guess...uh...we...could...talk." He said, clearly his throat and trying to ignore the heat in his cheeks.

Sibella noticed and smiled.

"See?" She asks, her face so close to kiss him. "Why not enjoy yourself a little?"

Oh man… Why did I find myself liking that kiss? Danny gulped that thought down as the vampire girl was too close to his face now, looking at him in that way.

"Sibella...I...well...it's late...and I should get to bed..." He said, trying to reason with her but Sibella just stood there, her lips puckered and waiting to be kissed. "Y-You heard me, right?" He asks.

"Come on, Danny...I know you like me, probably as much as I like you..."Sibella urged, her arms still wrapped around him.

Danny knew that he could have phased out of her arms if he really wanted to but he wasn't thinking. His mind was on the fact that a very pretty girl, who also happened to be a vampire, was super into him and being super flirtatious right now. And it was working, no matter how much he wanted to say otherwise.

Why did she have to be so pretty and smell so nice? Wait… why did I think that?! He thought as she got closer.

"Come on… it's just us. I know you don't hate it, you kissed me… twice in fact." She said, holding up two of her fingers to point it out further.

"That's true…" He admits.

"So… let's just have a little time together. I won't kiss you… unless you really want it." Sibella offered.

After some internal debating, Danny just gave in and found himself leaning forward, kissing Sibella on the lips.

The vampire girl felt overjoyed and held onto him.

After a few seconds, they parted and Sibiella smiled at him.

"Fang-tastic..." She said in pleasure from kissing her zing.

"I actually agree with you..." Danny admitted as he found himself kissing her without issue.

"Any chance for more?" Sibella questioned with a flirtatious tone before Danny kissed her again.

As he did so, he morphed into his ghost form so that he could only onto her as tightly as she was to him.

The two remained like this for a moment, before the two half-human teenagers started to hover thanks to Danny's powers, enjoying themselves as no one was around before the kiss got deeper and more personal.

Out of nowhere, the two got lost and started to make out. The kissing became deeper and both began to moan, completely lost right now.

Opening his eyes, Danny only now realized he was getting too into this. Gaining some semblance of awareness, Danny attempted to stop this by holding his hand out and a finger up, but Sibella ignored it and held tightly to his face. He felt overwhelmed and decided to just enjoy the situation.

After what was likely a whole minute, they parted slowly in an audible pop.

Whoa... Danny thought as he pulled away, blushing deeply and breathing heavily.

Sibella had a dreamy look on her face before pressing her forehead into his.

"Still scared of me?" She asks jokingly.

Danny was blushing up a storm while Sibella looked him in the eye.

"Y-uh… a different kind of scared… a… good kind, I guess." He admits.

"Fang-tastic." She said before kissing him again.

Despite his residual reluctance to accept her feelings for him, Danny found himself kissing her again. He and Sibella made out for about 5 minutes. It would have been longer but he noticed the time on a nearby clock and knew this had to end soon.

"We should… stop…" He said as he landed, still feeling some affect.

However, Sibella had a hungry look in her eyes as she suddenly pushed him into the wall.

"Not done yet…" She said longingly before kissing him again.

Danny didn't kiss her back, he instead fought off the urge to do it as she pressed her lips, trying to pry them open. When that didn't work, she kissed him three more times on the lips before sighing happily.

"Uh...we...uh...not that I'm complaining or anything...quite the opposite..." Danny admitted with a smile as the vampire girl's smile made a flash of pink go in his eyes. "But it is getting late and I don't know about you, but I really do need to get some shut eye..."

Sibella giggled and lightly rubbed her nose on his, knowing he enjoyed that.

"If you say so…" She said.

As she headed to the stairs, she looked over her shoulder and winked.

"Uh… let's keep what happened here between us, okay?" Danny asks as he feels his face get warmer.

"Okay, night-night, Danny..." Sibella said before going back upstairs, but not before blowing one last kiss at him and winking.

As she left, Danny turned red and smiled to himself. Despite that she did kind of kiss him a few times just now after he asked to stop, he can't help but like how it felt.

I guess it's not so bad having a vampire fall in love with you… He thought before he went back upstairs to bed, knowing that he would need all his energy to protect them.

Morning

Danny was slowly opening his eyes. There was a notable smile on his face.

Another day, another possibility the daughter of Dracula wants to kiss me again. He thought as he yawned and stretched.

Since it was spring break, he was tempted to go back to bed and sleep a little longer. However, that was no longer an option when he suddenly smelled something.

Someone's making breakfast… He reasoned in his thoughts.

He sniffed and cringed since it was kind of rotten and unpleasant.

"Wait… Mom and Dad aren't back yet. So why do I smell something?" He asked out loud.

He got out of bed, went downstairs but soon saw that the girls were in the kitchen, making breakfast. Only one noticed him.

"Look who woke up." Elsa said, gesturing to Danny.

"Morning, Danny..." Tanis waved.

"Arooo...mornin'..." Winnie waved.

"Good morning, Danny..." Sibella and Phanty both said at the same time, only to stop and glare at each other competitively.

"Ah, Daniel. Good morning. As a thank you for allowing us sanctuary in your home, I cooked you some spoiled eggs. Scrambled though, hope that's okay." Ms. Grimwood said.

Danny blinked and blanched at the sight.

"So… You guys are making breakfast?" He asked.

"Yeah, but it wasn't easy since all the food here is fresh. We had to dig through your garbage to find anything good around here..." Elsa muttered.

Danny cringed.

Note to self, make my own breakfast… He thought as the girls started eating.

"Uh, thanks but… I had eggs for breakfast yesterday." He lied.

"Ah, alright then." She said as she lowered the skillet. "Her you are, Matches."

"Yeah!" Matches went, scarfing them.

"Eh, at least the meat here is okay..." Winnie said as she ate his father's ham, not just the spoiled one.

Dad's not gonna be happy...but at least the spoiled ham is finally gone… He thought as the girls resumed eating.

Sibella soon went to him and grabbed him by the arm.

"Why don't you sit down, Danny and I'll make you a nice breakfast?" Sibella offered, fluttering her eyelashes at him.

Before Danny could say anything, Phantasma rushed over and grabbed him by the other arm, sending her friend a glare.

"Hey, I said I was gonna make him breakfast!" Phanty yelled, looking jealous.

Sibella frowned at her friend and huffed up a bit.

"I got here first! You just started eating. Besides, I said I was gonna make him something!" Sibella said competitively.

"I did! You're just misremembering!" Phanty said as they both pulled his arms like tug of war.

Two girls are fighting over me to make me breakfast...why isn't this as fun as it should be? He thought as he phased out of their grasp and they just devolved to bickering.

As Phanty and Sibella kept arguing over who would get to serve Danny breakfast, the sound of someone at the door alerted him.

"Danny!" Jazz was heard calling out.

Danny turned his head and panicked.

"Uh oh…" He said.

Jazz entered the kitchen.

"Hey, I'm… back… early…" She said slowly, noticing who else was there, standing in place.

All the ghoul girls stared back at her as Danny facepalmed.

"That your sister?" Sibella asks.

"It is…" He said.

Hearing that, Phatasma made the gap between her and Jazz smaller as she greeted her, as a means to impress Danny.

"Hi, I'm Phantasma… big fan of your brothers. I can date him, right?" She asks.

The eldest child of the Fentons, after an awkward silence, motioned around Phantasma to look at her brother.

"Uh… why is it Halloween in here? Also, more importantly, who are they?" Jazz asks with a suspicious tone.

"Uh...it's kinda a long story..." Danny said as he rubbed the back of his head.

But now Jazz is here, which means it's time to start explaining things.
