Description: While the Autumn-Class proved itself as a sufficient successor of the Marathon and Halcyon Class, the ship line was starting to age and the UNSC needed a ship that was more powerful, newer and could easily adapt new technologies that the Navy was developing. Announced in 2579 as the planned successor for the Autumn-Class, and production began a year later, the Daedalus-Class would become the most advanced and powerful ships line in service after the Infinity-Class.
