Chapter 9: Smiting Star

Misty Smith-Yang and her jiangshi minion were getting ready for their plan to smite Star into wanting to leave town and Danny behind.

The dark haired girl had several ideas on how to get rid of her rival...in non-lethal ways that is. Shi had his own ideas too.

"This is like using a cannon to shoo a fly rather than kill it. I will not lie, I almost wish you left me as a statue..."The jiangshi said, looking bored.

"Hey, watch it before I leave your tongue stone..."Misty warned.

Her minion rolled his eyes before he asked the following question.

"Are you certain that you won't reconsider using more permanent methods to keep that human girl away from the one you desire? It's better to threaten the two..."The jiangshi said.

"No way! Like I said, we're just scaring her, we're not doing anything lethal. Just make sure that neither she or anyone else gets maimed..."Misty said.

"Very well, then-..."

"Or injured..."Misty interrupted him by adding them.

"Then-..."

"Or beaten..."Misty reminded, wagging her finger as she wanted to make sure that her point got across her minion.

Shi looked annoyed and before he could say anything else, Misty added something else, one last reminder to see for herself that she wants Star gone, but not in that way.

"Or end up dead!..."She said the last part as sternly and harshly as possible.

"I heard you the first time, you are just repeating yourself now!..."Shi grumbled.

"Don't give me attitude! Just do as I say, scare that pretty, plastic blonde princess away and get me my man and then we can put this whole thing behind us!..."Misty said, sounding impatient.

"Just you wait..."Shi muttered under his breath.

"What was that?!..."Misty asked, frowning.

"Nothing, young sorceress. Now, what are your ideas to smite the comely blonde westerner?..."Shi asked.

Misty then told him her first idea and the jiangshi frowned.

"Are you serious? That sounds...more like a prank than an attempt to smite that girl..."He commented and Misty rolled her eyes.

"Like I said, I don't want anyone to get hurt. This is more like a warning and I'm sure if we do that enough, she'll get so freaked out, she'll know that you mean business..."Misty said and Shi sighed.

"Very well...but I still say that this is too mild for a girl like her, who doesn't even cower when faced to the likes of me..."Shi said and Misty frowned.

"That was just a fluke and her getting lucky that ghost kid was nearby. You're overestimating her just because she got lucky..."Misty insisted, still refusing to accept.

"More like you are underestimating her out of envy..."Shi thought as Misty kept giving him orders for the first attempt to "smite" Star.

Later

With Star

The blonde girl had gotten the material she needed, but since it was a nice day, she decided to take a break and go jogging, as well as visit her favorite man in the whole wide world.

All the sweater making really made her want to see him again, so she decided to take a small break just to relax and spend a little time together.

"No sense spending a day working on it if I don't see him..."Star thought as she put on her jogging outfit and soon left her house.

Her sweater only being half-done was currently on her bed right now, with the rest of her knitting equipment.

"I wonder if Danny-boo would let me measure him to make sure that the sweater I'm making has the right size for sleeves..."She thought, feeling giddy about her latest labor of love.

As the blonde girl began jogging, she had no idea that she was being spied on from a distance.

It was Misty and her minion, who felt he was wasting his time. They made sure that no one could see them as they followed the unsuspecting blonde girl during her jog.

"There, she's alone again!..." Misty said.

"I can see that..." Shi grumbled.

"Just remember to do your job. Don't do any harm to her and don't mess up this time!..."Misty said impatiently.

Shi glared at her before doing what he was commanded to do, wanting to get it over with.

Since it was day time, he couldn't use most of his strength or power and had to rely on standard stuff. He felt that it was beneath his talents, but decided that it will have to do. Since he had no other choice other than obeying the whims of this envious teenage girl.

Still, he had to ask the following.

"Explain to me again how this will do anything productive?..."Shi asked.

"You ever heard of Space Wars?…"Misty asked.

Shi blinked, confused at the reference. But he decided not to care.

"Your point?…"He responded with apathy.

"Put the bucket above the door and fill it with something that will encase Star in a gooey coffin that will harden…"Misty said. "It might be small, but I'm sure that it will send the message for her to leave..."She said, looking confident.

"More like you made a feeble threat..."Shi thought before he got to work.

Star soon arrived to Fenton Works and quickly tidied herself up, even checking herself in her compact mirror before ringing the doorbell, wanting to look good for him no matter what. She and Danny both looked thrilled to see each other before she was let inside.

He gave her a towel and the blonde girl enjoyed having some iced lemonade. The ghost boy had been in the middle of chores and was happy for the break to spend time with his favorite girl.

"Thanks so much for the refreshments, Danny-Boo..."Star said, smiling.

"I was happy to, babe. You know that you're ALWAYS welcome at my house at anytime, Starlight. You might as well live here at this point..."Danny said, smiling.

"Heck, the only ones not welcomed here are the fruitloop, Dash and his minions, Jean-Puke and his annoying, pain-in-the-butt daughter who's name shall still not be spoken in this house..."He said, making her laugh.

"That's fine by me. Besides, I'd much prefer staying here where she can't find me..."Star said, smiling at him before sending him a flirty look.

Danny smiled back and returned that look. The two shared a kiss, both in bliss. Shi, not wanting to risk setting off anything since this is a home of ghost hunters, kept a distance and only looked inside the window.

"All this new advances in defending against the supernatural and these mortals still behave so carefree. This must be just the so-called pleasantries of youth at work..."The jiangshi thought as he saw those teenagers kiss.

He rolled his eyes and got to work.

A few minutes later

Star and Danny pulled away from their kiss, feeling bliss.

"Any chance that you can stay all day? My folks are out chasing Klemper and Jazz is tutoring Dash again...and trying hard NOT to lose her mind while doing it..."Danny said. "Come on, I got nothing but chores to do here. You can save me from my nearly inescapable danger of boredom..."He semi-joked and she laughed.

"Believe me, I'd love to but I do have to change and shower. Plus, I have to get back to working on your present..."Star said cheerfully.

Danny tried hard not to make a face at that and just smiled.

"She really is doing this to make me happy...I just hope that it won't be like one of those itchy sweaters that I get for Christmas from Aunt Alicia..."He thought as he flinched at the memory.

Star soon headed to the direction of the door, when Danny got up to see her out...that's when it happened.

"AH!..."A scream was heard and her boyfriend panicked.

"What's wrong?!..."Danny yelled as he immediately rushed out of the living room and to the front door.

As soon as he got there, he was stunned to see that his beautiful girlfriend was now encased in some kind of ectoplasmic green slime that had already starting to harden.

Star was now in a state of pure shock and a bit of disgust before she began to struggle and was unable to move.

"What the heck is this?!..."She screamed as she felt it sticking to her skin.

"Oh man, Star?!..."Danny said as he went to check on her and see if she was alright.

"Danny, is this some kind of joke or did your dad set up a brand new trap for ghosts and it backfired?!..."Star said as she felt her eye twitch.

"You know that I'd never do a joke like this, and as for my dad...well, I dunno...maybe he actually did that and forgot to tell me! He does that sometimes!..."He said as he tried to reach for her arm.

Star tried to wiggle out of the gelatin-like prison, but could barely move a muscle. Some of that stuff even got in her mouth, and the taste was horrendous like sampling a sweat locker.

"Gross!..."She gagged before she struggled, but the weird goo was starting to hardened faster than concrete now.

It made it even MORE difficult for her to move now. Misty and Shi watched this from down the street, hidden in an alley and the dark haired girl was snickering.

"Ha! Got her! She's gonna spend hours washing it out..."She said, giggling in a mean way. "That'll show Little Miss Perfect..."She said, grinning.

"While I will admit that this is slightly amusing in a way, I still find this lacking of any actual purpose..."Shi said, while his master rolled her eyes.

"Will you to loosen up already? This is so she doesn't run or flip or whatever. Besides, this is only the beginning. Now get ready to send your warning..."Misty said.

Shi nodded but clearly didn't want to do this but had no choice.

Unknown to then, as the were too distracted by speaking about this, Danny wasted no time in phasing his girlfriend out of the strange ectoplasmic goop. Since they didn't look, as they turned to get Shi ready for the next phase of this plan, they were stunned to see that Star was already free.

She was no longer in her green, goopy prison. Her clothes weren't even stained and she was now fixing her hair back to it's neat form, as if nothing had happened. Both the young sorceress and the Chinese hopping vampire were stunned to say the least.

"What?! How is that possible?!..."Shi exclaimed.

"I thought that I told you not to mess this up!..."Misty said, blaming him.

"Do not blame me! I did exactly as you told and you saw it! She had no way to remove that so quickly!…"Shi said.

"Then why didn't it work?!..."Misty whispered harshly at him.

"I do not know, but that blonde mortal girl should NOT have broken free!..."He said as they started to glare at each other.

As the two argued as they tried to figure out how this plan failed, Danny and Star were talking and discussing about what just happened.

"I gotta say, that intangibility works better than any dry cleaners..."Star said, happy to be free and that her clothes were okay.

"With all the times that I've had to use intangibility for you and the others, I just might consider keeping tabs on all of you..."Danny joked before getting serious.

"You okay, Starlight?..."He asked and his girl nodded.

"I am now. Though I may need to have a talk with your dad about keeping better track on all his inventions and traps for ghosts..."Star said, still thinking that this was one of Mr. Fenton's goofs.

"Me too..."Danny said as he grabbed to both of Star's hands and held them in his own.

"Well, I'm not THAT mad…" Star said as she inches closer to Danny's face.

As the two shared a kiss and held each other by the shoulder, Misty watched this and her envy got worse and her face began to heat up and turned red. Her lip curled and her brow furrowed harder.

"That should be ME!..."Misty grumbled as she nearly crushed a garbage lib that she had been holding in her hands by mistake.

"Such ferocity. Perhaps you don't need me if you can do that..."Shi said in a way to mock her.

Misty sent him a frown and looked away. It's clear that she wasn't in a mood for that right now and kept her eye on her prize.

"Whatever! This is no where near over! I have plenty more ideas into scaring that brat into leaving town!..."The dark haired girl said as her eyes briefly flashed green again before she barked more orders to her minion.

After that, she kept her eyes on Danny, wanting so bad to be there with him. She also glared at the girl he was with.

"Just you wait, Princess!..."Misty thought as she glared daggers at Star, having not yet begun to strike back.

After that

After being freed from her gelatin like prison and saying goodbye to Danny, Star went back to her jog and even listened to some music on her phone, listening to the latest song from Dumpty Humpty.

"Hmmm...hmmm..."Star hummed along as she jogged and went through the park.

She went to her usual route and admired the nice day and scenery. She also passed by the tree that she and Danny often sit under when they come here to hang out...and make out when no one is looking.

"Can't wait to go there after he gets his gift..."She thought, giggling before continuing her job.

She had no way of knowing that her rival and her minion were stalking her, yet keeping their distance as to not be spotted by anybody. They were hiding behind a statue that was in the middle of the park, trying to blend into the surroundings as best as they can without looking suspicious.

Seeing no witnesses, Misty nodded.

"There she is, you know what to do..."The teenage girl said, while her minion nodded.

"This is so beneath me..."Shi thought as he was still less then enthusiastic to do this kind of dirty work.

As Star took a small break to drink water and admire the lake, something happened.

"This park really is beautiful this time of day. Danny and I should have another picnic here soon..."She thought as she finished drinking her bottled water.

She was about to go back to jogging, only to hear a strange sound.

Mao…Ribbit...Squeak!

"Huh?..."Star said.

She then saw what could arguably be described as zombie-like cats, moles and frogs slowly making their way towards her. They were all glowing, had red eyes, sharp fangs and seemed possessed as they snarled at her, looking menacing.

Misty watched this from the statue and grinned.

"You can do that?..."She asked.

"Yes, I may be a jiangshi but I also have other powers. These spirits that I summoned are of local animals thanks to that spell you casted..."Shi explained.

"Just remember that they can't HURT her. They can scare her, maybe even chase her a little and I'm not against her crying, but no one gets hurt!..."Misty reminded.

"Yeah, yeah..."Shi muttered as they began to watch this, directing the ghosts to their target.

"Let's see how well you do without anyone to babysit you, Princess..."Misty said, ready to watch Star scream and runaway.

To her shock, the opposite happened. Star didn't scream or run away. She didn't even look scared. She just GLARED at the ghoulish animals and stood her ground.

"Back off, go back to the pet cemetery!..."She said as she then pulled out something from her pocket.

It was her saber.

"What the heck is that thing?!..."Misty whispered to Shi.

"The same weapon that she used when she faced me. The one I believe was a gift from her beloved..."Shi said as they watched the girl face the animals.

"Alright, rejects from Noah's ark. Are you guys gonna go home or do we have to do this the hard way?..."Star asked, sounding tough.

The possessed animals just snarled at her and due to her hostility, they attacked.

"Hey! I told you no hurting her!..."Misty said to Shi.

"I didn't tell them to do that. Spirits or not, they are still animals and if they are met with hostility, their instincts will make them attack!..."Shi pointed out.

Misty was almost worried, thinking this would go too far. However, Star used her cheer skills and agility to dodge them and with her saber, she managed to strike back with relative ease.

"Sam might give me an earful for this, but I think ghost animals trying to bite me are an exception to the rule. Then again, she'd see NO exceptions..."Star thought as she faced her latest foes.

"Mrrrrrrhhhrrrrssss..."The ghoulish cats all hissed and they were closing in on her in a hostile manner.

"Rrrriiibiiit..."The ghoulish frogs all croaked as they hopped forward and tried to lash out with their tongues at the teenage girl.

"Ssssqquuueeaaakkkk..."The moles all let out as they crawled with claws ready as they all surrounded her.

But Star was prepared as she managed to twirl and avoid the cats, jumped over the hopping frogs and dodged the moles and used her saber to swing and clobber at the frogs away when they tried to reach her.

She was smirking triumphantly after this.

"Ha, is that all you got?..."Star challenged.

The ghost moles then charged at her, snarling loudly and even showed off their buck teeth as they intended to attack but Star used her saber to strike them, almost as if she was playing whack-a-mole. A more dangerous version of the game, at least.

The zombie-like cats then charged at her with their claws extended, ready to tear her to shreds but she managed to dodge them with a twirl and strike them with her saber.

"Hmmm...not bad..."Shi thought, sort of impressed as he watched the blonde girl deal with the spirits he sent.

"Oh please, compared to Skulker...this is a walk in the park...which I actually was doing right now but...oh, you know what I mean!..."Star said before going back to the so-called battle.

"Who's Skulker?..."Misty asked, looking lost.

Shi shrugged, not knowing the answer. They just stood their as they watched the cheerleader dominate the fight with the ghoulish animals that tried to attack her.

After a few moments, she used her skills to keep them at bay or dodge their attacks. She was getting tired and felt herself sweating a bit. She even looked at her watch and saw what time it was before she decided to end this.

"And I just killed more time than I needed. I got a sweater to finish for my knight in spandex armor..."She said as she made one last swing, which left the ghostly animals injured before they tried to escape.

They were now in a pile on the ground, too injured to move now.

"That's for ruining my good mood! Next ghost I see is toast!..."She declared, frowning.

Once they were down and down, Star pulled out the Fenton thermos and sucked all the ghoulish animals inside, trapping them.

She smiled at the outcome.

"Got them!..."She said before clasping it shut.

Once done, Star panted a bit before cleaned off the few droplets of sweat that formed on her brow. She frowned.

She was a little upset that the nice and tranquil jog in the park suddenly turned into the weirdness game of whack-a-mole ever. In addition to the cat and frog attacks too.

"These ghost attacks are getting weirder..."She muttered before going back to her job, used to this sort of thing and just bounced right back

Unknown to her, Misty and Shi witness this. Misty's jaw was dropping and Shi eyed the blonde girl with a bit of suspicion and even a VERY mild form of respect.

"I told you that she was not a weak mortal..."He said while his master's eyes were wide and was in complete disbelief on what she just witnessed with her own eyes.

"I can't believe a cheerleader could do that! Who is she?! Kim Possible?!..."Misty said, totally baffled and angered.

"I do not know whom that is, but this is nothing compared to what she did when she faced me. This girl is unlike what I expected, she is actually trained in combat..."Shi said, intrigued. "I am also curious about that strange item that trapped those spirits I summoned..."He thought, making a mental note to worry about that later.

Misty blinked and huffed before frowning as her envy and stubbornness got worse and refused to give up. It just made her more resolved.

"So, she must have got some fancy-pants self defense training? So what? Her dad is so rich, he probably paid for it! And she also has those fancy ghost fighting toys that she probably sweet-talked Danny into giving to her...Whatever! This doesn't change anything!..."Misty muttered in jealousy, making her more determined than ever to scare Star out of Amity Park.

As Star remained oblivious and jogged out of the park, Shi turned to his fuming master and wondered what she had in mind.

"What do you suggest we do now, sorceress? Do you want to call it quits for today?..."He suggested, but the girl refused to do such a thing.

"Oh, we have not even begun trying now! I'm not going to let that little blonde brat beat me!..."Misty said, looking strangely competitive as her eyes began to glow green again.

Shi said nothing as his master gave more orders and couldn't help but be impressed with what's happening to her.

Later

After dealing with the strange ghostly animal attack, Star had jogged out of the park and was now taking a break. Her jog was almost over and she would head home soon to get back to working on her gift for her boyfriend.

"I better get a drink before going back home, washing up and going back to work on my heartfelt gift for my Danny-boo..."She thought as she got a sports drink she got from a nearby vending machine, wanting to refresh herself.

Misty and Shi had tailed her from the park and were now ready to try and scare the blonde girl again. The latest idea was a little more severe than the last two, but will hopefully get better results.

"Okay Shi, get ready to put on your scary face and to make your move..."She ordered.

"Define scary face..."The minion said, not understanding her as he frowned.

"That..." She explained, pointing at his current expression.

"The joke is on you, this is my normal face..." He said, deadpan.

"Then you won't need much time to prepare…" She said as she rubbed her hands together in anticipation.

"Why? What's wrong with my face?..." Shi questioned, somewhat self conscious.

Misty ignored him as she heard something from a distance.

"Man, what a weird day. At least, I managed to work up a sweat with those ghosts..."Her rival said, still not realizing that they had been following her yet.

"Get ready..."Misty whispered to her minion, who nodded.

As Star sat down on a bench, she tried to relax before she noticed the sounds of fighting...coming from the air.

"Wait...that could only mean..."She looked up and relaxed when she saw who it was.

It was Danny, and like many times before, he was in the middle of fighting the Box Ghost, who decided to bug him for the ten millionth time. He had interrupted the ghost boy while he was in the middle of his chores and was now dealing with his usual annoyance.

"YOU CANNOT STOP ME, FOR I AM THE BOX-..."The annoying ghost was cut off by punch to the face from the ghost boy.

"Oh, shaddup!..."Danny said as he punched him square in the jaw and knocked out the box obsessed ghost.

He then sucked the nuisance in his thermos and clasp it shut.

"Finally..."Danny muttered.

"Nice one, Danny..."Star called to him as she waved at him.

Danny waved back, happy to see her again so soon. He was about to join her on the ground, only for something unexpected to happen. Shi, under Misty's orders, decided to summon another spirit-like minion. This time, it was a little bigger than cats, frogs and moles.

"Don't mess up..."Misty reminded him, getting on his nerves again.

"Just suck it up until I get my freedom..."Shi whispered to himself before ordering them to attack.

The being that he summoned was a giant, jade-like pangolin, along with a pair of jade-like Chinese Imperial Guardian Lions.

"Wow, imperial guardian lions and a pangolin. Not bad..."Misty said, looking fascinated.

"I figure that perhaps something bigger may have better results than creatures that are of local wildlife..."Shi said before he gave the orders to the spirits he summoned.

They then headed towards Star.

"I better get going..."The blonde girl said as she was about to leave for home.

She and Danny would have done something together, but he has to get back to his chores...plus, they are in PUBLIC right now and she is without her disguise, so they can't do their usual flirting right now.

She began to leave for home. However, that did not go as plan as sounds of an animal were heard.

"Cujo?..." Danny asks as he looked, only to see it wasn't.

"Uh oh..."He said as he was knocked out of the air, launched away.

His girlfriend saw that and gasped, wondering what had happened.

"What's this?..." Star asked as the creature appeared before her, glowing and trying to look menacing.

She soon saw what it was.

"A pangolin?!..." Star asked as the ghostly scaly anteater approached her.

"I'm surprised she even knows what that is..." Misty said under her breath as she and her minion witness this.

Star sent it a glare as she was ready to face it like she did with the ghost animals at the park. Unfortunately, it wasn't alone.

"PRRROOOOWWWRRR!..."Was heard.

"Don't tell me..."Star said as she turned around and saw what else was here.

The jade-like lions then approached her from the other direction, growling at her.

"Did Sam break them free from a ghost zoo or something?!..."Star thought as she prepared herself to face them.

"Get back!..."The blonde girl yelled as she pulled out her weapon.

"Not this time!..."Shi thought as he used his powers to make the pangolin move faster than normal.

Star's saber ended up being knocked out of her hands by the creature due to it moving very fast, much to Misty's satisfaction.

"Let's see how tough you are without your fancy accessories, Princess!..."The dark haired girl thought, smirking.

However, before Star could react or even say anything, Danny Phantom appeared and intervened.

"Stay away from her, ugly!..."Danny yelled as he fired at the ghostly pangolin, getting them away from the blonde girl.

"Him again?!..."Shi said, angry at the sight of him.

"Where'd he come from?!..."Misty said, having not noticed him or his ghost fight due to plotting with Shi.

Right now, she was just really upset as the plan fell apart before her eyes.

The ghost boy faced down the scaly anteater and in no time, managed to beat it up and leave it lying on its back. He then turned to face the lion-like ghosts and his eyes glowed blue.

"Down, kitties!..."Danny said and readied to fire.

The jade lions growled at him and charged at him, ready to attack. Unfortunately, since they were close enough, the ghost boy easily managed to fire from his eyes and freeze them.

"Cat-sicles..."Danny said as they both were now unharmed by ghosts.

Once the ghosts was down and out, Star pulled out the thermos and sucked it inside, trapping it.

"Glad that's over..."Star said.

"You okay?..."Danny asked, concerned.

"I'm fine. Nice shot..."Star said, sending him a sweet smile.

Danny Phantom smiled back at her, and she smiled back. They would have kissed but resisted due to being in public right now and Star wasn't wearing her disguise. They didn't want to risk dealing with potential scandal after all.

Still, the ghost boy talked to her a bit more, wanting to make sure that she is alright. Misty saw this, she had witness the ghost boy just rescue her romantic rival and even saw how friendly they were and got upset.

"Come on! Does HE have a crush on her too or something? I thought he already had a ghostly girlfriend?!..."The young sorceress asked, looking outrage.

"This may not be the best time to tell you, but while I was digging up information on them, I learned that apparently several months ago, the scrawny silver haired ghost was a suitor for her and declared himself to her in front of a large crowd of people..."Shi said.

Misty's jaw dropped.

"WHAT?! The TOWN HERO actually has a thing for her?!..."She asked, jaw dropping.

"If by that, you mean he is taken by her, apparently. I also learned that apparently she was already involved with the boy you are after and she rejected him..."Shi said and Misty looked like she was getting a headache.

"UNBELIEVABLE! Not only does she have a great guy like Danny and so many other guys can't take their eyes off her, but the GHOST BOY also fell for her? Seriously, what makes her so special?!..."Misty yelled, looking really jealous now and her eyes glowed an even brighter shade of green than before.

The jiangshi couldn't help but keep stirring the pot.

"It seems more than one Danny yearns for her, while you have none..." Shi questioned.

Misty looked even more ticked at that and stare at the jiangshi with a look of annoyance. Almost like she's ready to hit him.

"I can speed the spell up and turn you back to stone if I wanted to!..."She pointed out, glaring at him.

"And yet, you will have no one to carry out your meaningless tasks now, would you?..."The jiangshi pointed out.

Misty frowned and she knew that he had a point. But that didn't mean that she was happy with his attitude.

"Stop giving me lip! I'm giving the orders here! If you don't watch that attitude, we'll see for ourselves just strong my magic can work against you!..."She said, glaring at him.

"For someone new to magic, you certainly seem confident enough if you think you can threaten the likes of me. If you slipped up, I could destroy you..."Shi argued.

"I've been studying the magic book harder than I did with any text book in my entire life. No way would I let that happen..."Misty said, full of confidence in her abilities but her minion scoffed.

"And yet you don't think to try a love spell on him? Which, I repeat, would be much faster and easier than all of this..." Shi pointed out, since that has been an option.

Misty knew that, he mentioned that before when they discussed their plans, but Misty shot it down.

"I don't want to put a spell on him. I want him to love me for me..." The dark haired girl explained earnestly.

"And what if he never does?..." Shi questioned.

Misty felt his words made sense, especially since Danny wasn't exactly expressing his love for her right now. However, she still felt that if Star wasn't around, she'd have a better shot and that she could show him that they could have a much better romance than he ever did with Star.

"It's only because of that cheerleader that he's not giving me the time of day. I just know without her in the picture, he'd like me once he gets to know me..."Misty said, truly believing that Danny could be with her forever if they have the chance.

"Teenagers and their hormone filled delusions..."Shi commented.

"Watch it!..."Misty warned, really irritated at this point.

Her minion did not care, but asked the following question.

"So, what now?..."He asked.

"Now, we wait until that ghost kid leaves and then we make our move again and try Plan C...or was it Plan D?..."Misty said, still being stubborn as this smiting is nowhere near done yet.

Oh boy.
