Chapter 1:The New Girl
Dana Poole brisked through the hall of Winslow High School. A few students called "hello" out to the girl and she returned it with her smile. As she reached her locker Dana noticed that her usual group of friends weren't at their locker waiting for her. She looked around. "That's odd" she thought since her friends were usually there on a daily basis.
Dana shut up locker door closed and walked down the hall. She searched for her friends and not paying attention to where she was going she bumped right into webmistress Sheryl Holt. "Hello Dana,"Sheryl said in her usual sly tone. "What is it now Sheryl,"Dana said rolling her blue eyes. "Oh nothing,I couldn't help but notice you were alone where's your friends?"Sheryl asked.As Dana thought up a sassy reply Sheryl interrupted her thoughts. "They're with the new girl Dana,"Sheryl allerted her.
Dana frowned."New girl?"Sheryl smirked"Oh you haven't met her?She's near Miss Sudors class along with you clique."Sheryl said walking away. Dana rolled her eyes as she walked in the direction of Miss Sudor's class. Dana was usually the one to walk off on Sheryl not the other way around.Dana shrugged it off and she saw some of her best friends gathered in a circle."Hey Dana," Jason Harrelson said when someone finally noticed her. "Hey Jason.What's going on?"Dana asked as the group suddenly turned facing Dana. Dana looked past some of her friends see'ing a tall blonde haired girl about her age."Who are you?,"Dana asked timidly.She was a little angry her friends were with someone else especially someone Dana didn't know.
The blonde haired girl stepped forward."I suppose your Dana,"she said. "The one and only,"replied Dana straightining her posture."I'm Kendall.Kendall Adams."the girl said."Nice to meet you Kendall,"Dana said forcing a fake smile. "Likewise I'm sure"Kendall replied.Before any of the girls could say anymore the bell rang kids scattered through the halls to their classes.
