A/n- I started this poem even before I knew
about RK, and when I clicked on it thinking it was another file, this poem just
popped up before me. At the moment I was
filled to the rim with RK fantasies, and when I saw it everything just made
sense that this is a poem from Sanosuke to Megumi as he left for whatever land
he left to. (Jinchuu-arc spoilers)
And WOW!
This poem actually rhymed! I normally
do none-rhyming, and when I saw this I was amazed! (actually, the real poem I found was only 2-and-a-half paragraphs
long. I completed the rest today.)
Come what may
Painful goodbyes
I can see sadness in your eyes
Parting is such sweet sorrow
But I must go on to tomorrow
I wish I could turn back to my old way
Go back to yesterday
Return to your sweet embrace
But I can't stay in one place
Please forgive me,
Can't you see,
I'll just ruin you
If I do what you say I do
No matter how much I yearn for you
All I see right now is blue
The blueness of the sea
As I look back at the land where we used
to be
Please wait for me
Perhaps I'll return someday
Just wait, you'll see
I'll return, come what may.
