Ted huffed as the sun was starting to rise over the horizon and he had finished shifting back into his human form. He had his share of bad nights, but this one took the cake and probably ate it too. After witnessing a flash of light in the sky, his wolf nose detected something not of the usual and when he went to find out, he had a run in with what could only be described as an alien from outer space. The memory was hard to piece together, but Ted strained as he struggled to hoist himself against a tree and observed the gashes on his arms and chest.

"I really hate this.", he growled showing he was not pleased.

"Am I detecting some foul temperament?"

Ted paused, but got over it once he knew who it was.

"I've got jumped by some kind of-"

"I know what it was Ted, but that's not why I'm calling."

Ted's expression darkened further.

"Telling me that I won't get him yet?"

"No, just some reinforcements if that's what you need."

Ted raised an eyebrow. It would be nice to have some help in his hunt and it would put that alien in its place. Unfortunately, the presence must have read his thoughts.

"Remember, I need Theo to gather the other dice for me. Don't make me regret this."

Ted felt the presence fade and a sound got his ears. He turned to see a nearby pond froth and bubble slightly before going dark again. Ted felt a bit disappointed.

"I expected weirder.", he muttered, "Guess I'm still alone on this."

That was when the surface of the water burst and out of it came what looked like a couple of gangly looking dogs with pale skin and large claws. But the weirdest thing that Ted noticed was that the heads opened up like flowers to let out a screech and show each part had rows of sharp teeth, but where a face would be was just a gapping maw void of anything before they closed and their heads went back to looking like grotesque flower buds waiting to open up again. Ted felt a bit unnerved as two more of the creatures came out of the pond and stood alongside the first two, but then a smile came to his face.

"Now we're cooking.", he chuckled as he observed the dogs, "We're going to find ourselves an alien."

His moment however came to a halt as he noticed the dogs slink into the shadows as the sunlight pierced through making him frown.

"Fine, I guess we'll have to wait til tonight then.", he groaned before shrugging, "No matter. Theo deserves a break, for now."

He slid down the tree he was leaning on and sat in the grass thinking about how he was going to recover from his injuries until he remembered some old first-aid skills he had developed before he was officially cursed to life as a werewolf and had to get busy.

Theo and Dr. Stillman met up with Ben at the diner where some people were appearing to be giving Ben a cold look even though Ben had a plate of pancakes in front of him. Ben however hadn't touched it and said he didn't want it so Theo helped himself to it.

"So, what are you doing here?", Ben asked Theo.

Theo thought fast.

"I'm just here to find something and leave as soon as I can.", he answered before turning to a more passive tone, "Well, I couldn't help but notice the light last night. You say it's your dad?"

Ben nodded.

"So, I'm sorry about yesterday.", Dr. Stillman said gently drawing Ben's attention, "But this morning, someone claimed to have been attacked."

"Attacked?", Theo asked, "In what way?"

"Something just appeared out of nowhere and really freaked them out.", Dr. Stillman stated, "Luckily nobody was hurt and they got away safely."

Theo then looked thoughtful.

"Ben, do you have any idea what your dad can do?"

Ben paused for a moment, but then stood up.

"I gotta go use the bathroom."

He left and Dr. Stillman looked Theo's way a bit curious.

"Theo, why are you here exactly?"

Theo sighed.

"Doc, I'm trying to find a dice. It's very important to me and there is something really bad on its way."

Dr. Stillman looked a bit scared.

"What kind of something?"

Before Theo could answer, he felt a strong wave shoot up his spine. That couldn't be a good sign. Dr. Stillman must have sensed it too cause both she and Theo got up and dashed toward the bathroom where what sounded like a ruckus was going on. Ben was coming out of the bathroom looking both scared and frantic.

"Ben, what was that noise?", Theo asked.

Ben just dashed past with Dr. Stillman alongside him. Theo however went up to the bathroom door, but when a strong arm broke through and unfurled into five tentacles, his nerve broke and he turned and made a dive for the door.

"Don't go."

Theo paused as he clutched the handle.

"Where is he? Where's my son?"

Theo slowly turned around, but saw nobody.

"Okay, that was creepy.", he admitted.

By the time the afternoon had rolled around, people all over the place were talking about seeing some kind of creature lurking around town and others claim to have felt some kind of presence in their minds that grabbed Theo's attention as he and Dr. Stillman came back to their hotel.

"I don't know about you, but something really strange is going on around here. Maybe due to that light and wolf howl we heard last night."

Dr. Stillman stopped the car which made Theo flinch a bit.

"What's up Doc?", he asked.

Dr. Stillman sighed.

"Dr. McCann might know something about Ben we don't."

Theo smiled.

"Then let's pay the local doctor a visit."

As they drove up to the house, Theo kept thinking about the sentences he heard at the diner when he saw the arm come through the door. Could it have been the creature? Once they had arrived, they noticed that Dr. McCann didn't have his car in the driveway so they both got out once Dr. Stillman parked and knocked on the door. There was no answer so Dr. Stillman opened the door.

"Doc, you know this counts as breaking and entering right?", Theo cautioned.

Dr. Stillman went in anyway and Theo rolled his eyes before following. The inside of the house seemed okay, but as Dr. Stillman went upstairs, Theo stayed down and noticed a VHS case on the floor. Reading from afar, Theo could make out the title: "Day the World Ended". As Theo took a step closer, he accidentally stepped on the remote and the screen of the television flashed on to an image of a woman screaming and the alien holding her in its tentacle arms. Theo then remembered the arm that came through the door which looked awfully similar to the movie aliens. He quickly turned off the television as Dr. Stillman came down looking both firm and worried.

"What did you find?", Theo asked hoping for the best.

"Ben's upstairs and sedated.", she answered, "I'm guessing Dr. McCann did it."

Then the sound of growling came into the house making them pause.

"What was that?", Dr. Stillman asked.

Theo felt dread wash over him.

"Doc, we need to get upstairs, grab Ben, and-"

He was cut off cause the door burst open slightly and the growling got louder as a head stuck through and opened to reveal a gruesome flower of teeth with a gaping maw in the center which gave out a screech.

"Run!", Theo screamed as he and Dr. Stillman turned and dashed up the stairs just as the door broke open.

By the time Theo and Dr. Stillman got to Ben's bedroom, the dog creatures had come through the busted doorway and were hot on their heels. They managed to get inside and Theo shut the door behind them and locked it as Dr. Stillman got to Ben who seemed to be coming out of a coma. Dr. Stillman then found an injector needle near Ben and frowned.

"Michael, I'm going to have your medical license removed."

The door buckled as the dogs outside started to ram the door. Theo turned to Dr. Stillman and Ben who was looking more awake.

"Okay, we're going through the window."

Dr. Stillman looked shocked.

"What?!"

Ben was now fully up and was shocked as well as Theo ran up to the window and opened it. The door then burst open and Ben saw the dog creatures which horrified him. Dr. Stillman and Theo both saw the dogs come forward and Ben's eyes widened which caused something very odd. The dogs were sent flying back out the busted door, but were starting to get back through. Theo didn't pause and pulled out Quinten's card and flipped it.

"Quinten, I need your assistance."

The card flashed and Quinten appeared in his costume and mask on.

"What's up?", he asked.

"We need some rope to get back outside.", Theo instructed.

Quinten got to the window and shot some web lines to a nearby tree allowing Theo, Dr. Stillman and Ben to swing back to the ground. Once they were outside, Quinten returned to his card and Theo put it back beside Princess' card while Dr. Stillman and Ben were both looking winded and confused.

"What is going on here?", Dr. Stillman asked.

Theo turned to Ben smiling.

"Dr. Stillman, Ben is a psychic."

Ben's eyes widened.

"What?", he asked.

"A psychic.", Theo said still smiling, "Mostly in times of stress in most cases, but often based around a bad memory."

Dr. Stillman then looked thoughtful, but the sound of the dogs came out and they began to come out on the roof. Quickly, they got into Dr. Stillman's car and she hit the gas. The car sped off with the dogs giving chase for a bit, but they lost them after a bit. Theo then noticed Dr. Stillman looking his way for a moment before turning to the road again.

"What were those things?", she asked.

"Big trouble.", Theo stated, "And we need to get out while we can."

Dr. McCann came out of the office and noticed someone else walking up to him. Judging by his vest, pants, and wild hair, he wasn't from around here.

"You okay buddy?", he asked.

The man smiled.

"Name's Ted.", he said slyly, "I just thought I'd tell you that I know about this town's dirty little secret."

Dr. McCann flinched and frowned.

"I don't know what you're talking about, but you better leave before I blow your brains over the streets."

Ted's smile didn't flinch.

"Please, I'll kill you before you even could."

Ted then fell to the ground as Dr. McCann noticed the darkened sky now forming as the moon was rising. Ted started to shift and Dr. McCann started to bolt back to the office. Unfortunately, Ted had finished changing and was about to pounce, but then something got hold of his back wolf legs and hurled him away into the bushes. Dr. McCann stood in awe as a creature slowly became visible. It looked like an old-fashioned alien with the single cycloptic eye, tentacles for hair, a humanoid body with three tentacles at the end of each arm, webbed masses where the feet would be, a wide mouth with large fangs, and a ribcage over its chest that opened into six crab like limbs with a sharp claw at the end of each one. was shocked as the creature came up a short distance from him. He tried getting the door open, but as the creature held a tentacle up and shook it, he paused.

"What do you want?", he asked cautiously.

"Ben.", Dr. McCann heard in his mind, "He's in danger."

Dr. McCann was still not moving so the creature pointed into the woods while not taking its eye off him. Then he had an idea about what this was aiming at.

"Listen, what happened to Ben's mother is-"

"Not important! Ben will die and I want you and this town to admit what you did to Maggie and apologize."

Dr. McCann looked around hoping to see someone, but when he turned back, the alien had gone away. He was still pretty shocked by what he had just witnessed, but he needed to tell everyone and quick.

Dr. Stillman drove Theo near the outskirts of town where she continued to drive. Ben was in the back catching some sleep while Theo sat in the passenger's side of Dr. Stillman.

"You're seriously leaving?", Theo asked, "You were just starting to get used to you."

Dr. Stillman smiled.

"I think I'm not fit for this backwards place.", she answered, "I'm more of a New Yorker."

Theo looked outside into the night.

"I just hope Ted doesn't catch up to us too soon."

"Who?", Dr. Stillman asked.

"A werewolf who's been hounding me ever since I arrived in the realm.", Theo said, "It's too bad I didn't find a dice here."

Then Dr. Stillman stopped suddenly. In front of them were the very dog creatures that they were trying to get away from. Ben slowly awoke and saw what was in front of them and went pale. As the creatures charged forward Ben let out a yell.

"Dad!"

Instantly a bolt of light shot out of the sky and landed in front of the car making the dogs get thrown back before two large arms with tentacles started flaying as the dogs attacked. Theo, Dr. Stillman and Ben watched in awe and horror as the dogs and the new figure fought it out. Unfortunately the dogs seemed to get the upper hand and Theo got out with his cards ready.

"Quinten, Princess, I need your assistance!", he called out as he tossed the cards.

Quinten and Princess appeared in a flash of light which helped Dr. Stillman and Ben see the new guy. He looked like the alien form the movie Ben had watched and once Quinten and Princess helped out, the dogs were driven off, but the alien looked Ben's way with a pleading look before it hit the street and a twelve-sided dice came out of his tentacles that looked pale white with silvery numerals which Theo picked up while Quinten and Princess helped the alien up.

"He's hurt pretty bad, but he seems to be okay.", Quinten reported as the trio came over.

Dr. Stillman was still shocked, but Theo took out a blank card.

"He'll be easier to take to a hospital this way."

Princess and Quinten nodded as they returned to their cards and Theo got the alien into the one he got out.

"Quite the visitor from space.", he smiled as he made his way back to the car.

Ben was looking a bit worried.

"Is Dad going to be okay?", he asked.

"He'll need to rest for a while.", Theo answered as Dr. Stillman started up the car again.
