15 Years Later

-Anthony's Home-

Currently in the early morning on a Saturday, it has been about hour since the sun has risen over the horizon. Anthony is currently out cold in his bedroom; despite the fact the sun is about to shine directly on him. When it does eventually do so, he instinctively covers his fact with the blanket currently on top of him. Unfortunately, this proves to be an ultimately fruitless endeavor as a moment later he hears the sound of an alarm going off.

"Erm…ugh…" He mumbles as he lazily moves his arm seemingly at random right outside his bed trying to find the source of that awful noise. It takes him roughly 8 seconds, but he does find his phone on the night stand next to the bed and promptly shuts it off the alarm.

Now more awake than he'd like to be, he sits himself up in the bed. He then remembers the dream he just had not too long ago, "Who knew I'd have that sort of dream…"

"What's that dear?" A soft but slightly elegant voice speaks as the owner of said voice slowly rises to a sitting up stance. She has apparently been awoken by the alarm clock too.

"Oh, I just had a dream about something that occurred a long time ago." He replies with an air of fatigue, he still hasn't fully awakened himself.

"Would you care to share it?" She asks.

He nods, "Yeah, sure. It was just a dream of the attack that happened on the Hinata Inn."

Her eyebrows rise slightly, "Wow. Really? That was such a long time ago."

He chuckles, "Hehe…yeah. Even though it happened around 15 years ago at this point, I occasionally still can't believe it actually happened."

"That was also the time I finally dealt with my serious misandry." The woman says as she straightens out her long, waist length black hair with her fingers.

"Very true Motoko, very true." He gives her a small kiss on the cheek. "I'm very happy that you let a man like me do that sort of thing to you now." He gives her a warm smile.

Motoko gives a mischievous smirk, "Oh dear, you know I've let you do a lot more than that."

"Is that so?" He returns the smirk.

Anthony and Motoko have been happily married for the past 12 years now. After the attack on Hinata Inn had occurred, many different things happened. The Urashima family had considered suing RubyCorp for breaching the contract, but Akimitsu was thankfully very understanding and was willing to compensate for the troubles caused by his father. After much discussion and negotiation, the amount that was agreed upon for Keitaro to take overall was 4 million dollars. Half of that was to compensate for the injuries the tenants had suffered. Many were taken to the doctor just in case and in order to not arouse suspicion about the existence of magic. The other half was to compensate for the demolishing of the inn. Thanks to all the money, Keitaro was able to have the inn completely rebuilt, along with tacking on some extra features like a second hot springs. Although it is artificial, it provided just as much comfort as the natural hot springs. The process of rebuilding the entire inn took about 4 months.

During this period, Motoko knew she also had to pay her share of injuries and destruction to the inn. She had 15 years to complete this task. As a warrior and member of the God Cry School, she was not going to break her promise. The week following the attack she got a job at a local supermarket, as that was the only place she could find that was hiring. The pay was low, but she diligently worked hard and paid Keitaro back. After graduating high school and successfully entering into a local college, she decided to major in kendo. This would allow her to formally teach kendo at any school she wished. Additionally, she decided to teach at the God Cry School. She made no discrimination to either the males or females. She taught equally to both and did so with a giant smile on her face.

Every once in a while, she would participate in kendo tournaments for chances to earn large amounts of money. She proved to be rather exemplary in many of the tournaments and thus won large amounts of cash. These tournaments proved to be rather crucial in paying back her debt, because her teaching jobs, while providing enough income to live off of, did not allow for a ton of leeway in the way of paying her debts off. Anthony sometimes offered to assist her in paying off her debts, but she would always decline. Her reason being that she brought it completely upon herself, and it was her and her alone that should bear the responsibility of righting what she did wrong. Eventually, the fruits of all her labors were finally paid off last week when she made the final payment to Keitaro. That day was filled with much joy and celebration between her and her family.

Even though she spent much of her time working and paying off her debt, that wasn't the only thing she did. Far from it. In between it all, she decided to put forth an effort in getting to know Anthony better. Since having her change of heart, she became ever more fascinated with him. She was greatly curious about his former world and when she asked him to tell her stories from his previous world, he would often oblige. She was surprised to learn just how much more advanced his world was technologically speaking compared to theirs. As they talked and hung out more and more, she began to seriously consider the possibility of spending the rest of her life with him. Considering her initial impressions of him, that seemed absurd! Yet, she couldn't help but deeply smile at thinking of them living in a house of their own, with their own children, laughing happily. One and a half years after meeting him, she gained enough courage to ask him out. To her shock and delight, he answered yes! They got even closer as they dated.

Finally, one year later, the magical day came. Anthony took Motoko out to her favorite restaurant and after having a nice meal together, he proposed to her. The shock from that caused her to cry a little, but they were happy tears. She eagerly accepted the proposal, and about half a year later they were formally married. She has never regretted her decision and found herself to be very happy young woman being with him.

At some point she apologized to Kiyoshi, Tsuruko's husband, for how she thought of him and disapproving their marriage. To her surprise and delight he easily accepted her apology and felt really happy that she finally accepts their marriage. They started to talk a lot more often and are now good friends.

The two share a little moment by kissing each other repeatedly. Once they finish, Anthony says, "As much as I'd love to do this all day, we better get up. Otherwise…I think I'll just stay in here forever and hibernate."

She chuckles at his comment, "Fufu…looks like someone here isn't a morning person."

"Never been one." He replies with a bit of snark but also playful.

The two get up and get dressed into their clothing for the day. Anthony decides on some simple blue jeans and a brown shirt. He doesn't care all too much for fancy clothing. Motoko meanwhile decides to dress in a simple blue miniskirt with a white shirt. She also puts in her moon shaped earrings that her husband got her for their 5th wedding anniversary. Since marrying Anthony, she has gotten in a lot more in touch with her feminine side and is not nearly as embarrassed at showing it off compared to when she lived at the inn. Her nails are also painted with a nice red color.

Opening up the door to their room, the two step out and close it. Making their way down the hall and down the stairs, they eventually reach their destination, the kitchen. On their way there, they had been smelling the wondrous cooking of what is surely to be an amazing breakfast.

Upon entering, they are both rushed at two young children.

"Mom! Dad!" The older child, a girl who is 11 years old, shouts as she collides with Motoko, knocking her slightly off-balance. She is about 4 feet tall and has straight brown hair that reaches down to her shoulders. Clipped on either side of her head are two little butterfly accessories. Her name is Mika.

"Mommy! Daddy!" The other child, a boy who is 8 years old, also shouts his parents' names as he collides with Anthony, also knocking him slightly off-balance. He is 3 and a half feet tall and has short, slightly spikey black hair. His name is Sana.

"Haha! Why good morning Sana and Mika! Who knew you two would have so much energy this morning." Anthony laughs.

"You two are quite energetic indeed." Motoko agrees with him with a smile.

After the two get off of them, they sit down at the kitchen table that they were at just a moment ago.

It wasn't very long after Anthony and Motoko got married that the latter became pregnant with their first child. They were not at all prepared for the 9 months that were to come as Motoko would deal with a flurry of different mood swings and often had morning sickness. She also began to crave for certain types of food as the months went on. Overall, the pregnancy was both a stressful and happy time for the two of them. The delivery thankfully went safely and smoothly. A few years later she became pregnant with their second child and he was also delivered safely and smoothly.

"Good morning master and Motoko." Faye turns her attention from the stove to greet them. She makes a small bow to Anthony.

"Morning Faye." They reply.

Throughout the past 15 years, Faye has remained fully devoted to Anthony. There has not been a single day where she ever thought about leaving him and pursuing a career or life of her own. Consistently cleaning, cooking, and helping him throughout his day to day life, she has truly outdone herself as a maid in every way possible. Additionally, whenever her master got into a rough situation, whether it'd be due to work or some random thugs out on the street feeling particularly cranky and wanting to take their irritation out on someone, she would always be there to rescue him. Usually, death glares worked just fine in getting people to submit. However, once in a while she would have to get physical, and the people messing with her master quickly learned that upsetting a maid who has done martial arts for 25 years is a really bad idea. Out of everyone who lived at Hinata Inn, Faye is the one who has changed the least.

If anything major did change about her, it was her level of respect for the people surrounding her. As the years went by and she realized that the people she lived with at the Hinata Inn had really changed their ways for the better, she began to gain some respect for them and call them by their proper names. Mitsune was first, followed by Kanako, then Seta, Su, and finally, Motoko. Although in Kanako's case, they still butt heads from time to time and Faye does refer to her as gothic girl once in a while, but mostly calls her by her proper name.

Motoko was by far the hardest to earn her respect. Since she was a man-hater back when Anthony first moved into the inn, she did not hesitate to lash out at him, both physically and mentally. This quickly earned her a spot as one of the least respected people on Faye's list, right alongside Naru, and later Masako. Thus, Faye would never refer to her as anything other than "kendo girl". Even after her confession of her wrongdoings and promising to make things right, Faye was initially not convinced she would follow through on her promises and even outright rejected her apology. As the years went by and seeing how Motoko was willing to pay back her debts and was much nicer to both Anthony and all other males in general, she very slowly began to lighten herself up around her. The air was still very tense between them, but it slowly got better. She was fairly concerned about Anthony dating her but after he assured her that things would be fine between them, she quickly became alright with it.

Finally, shortly after Anthony and Motoko married, she decided that Motoko had finally redeemed herself enough to the point where she deserved being called by her real name. That day was huge for Motoko, as she bawled her eyes in joy knowing that Faye finally trusted her for real.

The only person who she continues to refuse to call by her real name is Naru. Even though she rarely pops up in discussion, she always derogatorily calls her "brute" and nothing more.

Also, even though her level of respect for the people she knew increased dramatically, she still refuses to obey anyone but Anthony. The only exceptions she is willing to make to an extent are with Sana and Mika. If they specifically ask her to do something respectfully, like to play a video game or to help them with a homework assignment, then she'll often comply, unless of course it goes against Anthony's wishes. If they demand something instead and don't politely ask, then she will refuse their demand right then and there.

"Morning master. Morning Motoko." Another maid who is standing next to Faye turns and bows her head to them.

"Morning Masako." They both greet her.

Why is Masako, the one who tormented Anthony and caused Faye to enter such an unfathomable rage that it allowed her to unleash her poison attack, here at their home? Well, a series of events culminated in her moving in.

After the attack on Hinata Inn occurred, she and all the other maids that participated were arrested and promptly thrown in prison. Their former master, Souta, was also arrested for the same reasons. When they went to court, everyone except for Souta pleaded guilty to the crime. The maids also stated that the only reason they attacked the inn was because they were directly ordered to do so by Souta. Unfortunately, due to the local justice system not knowing about Maid High Academy and its policies, they couldn't really use that as evidence for their claims. In the end, their claims were dismissed and everyone was sentenced to 3 years in prison for extreme vandalism of private property. In addition to their sentence, they would have to pay multiple fees, including full reparation for the property they have damaged. Thankfully, Souta had amassed a generous fortune over the years and was able to pay back all the damages, even if it did dent his bank account to an extent.

One final ruling stated that Souta could no longer be associated with RubyCorp in any way, shape, or form. He desperately tried to have the court reconsider their decision, but his pleas were refused. The last that was heard of him since his release from prison was that he had bought a modest home out in the middle of nowhere, completely isolated from the rest of society.

As for Masako, she could've easily escaped prison if she wanted to. She literally had the ability to teleport after all. However, after the revelation of Reiko disguising herself as Faye in order to deceive her and ruin the relationship between her and Faye, she felt like her world came to screeching halt in a way. She had been so heartbroken by what happened with Asuka that she closed off her heart to everyone and refused to explore any new friendships outside of the ones she already established, for fear that the same thing would occur again. In retrospect, she realized that it was actually a blessing in disguise. If she had formed any new friendships, who knew what Reiko would've done to them.

Masako was also so blinded with anger towards Faye that she was willing to do very immoral things to "avenge" Asuka. Now that she knew that Faye was fully innocent, she initially directed all that anger towards Reiko. However, that wouldn't last very long.

Deciding to use her prison sentence as an opportunity to set her feelings and emotions straight, as well as do some community service that was also tacked onto the sentence, she eventually came to a few conclusions.

One of them is that she actually wasn't nearly as angry with Reiko as she was with Faye. Initially, she was bewildered by this and didn't really understand why she felt this way. Later on, she came to understand that the reason she felt that way was because the act of Faye deliberately leaving someone to die versus disguising yourself as another person to ruin said person's friendship were two very different things. While what Reiko did was awful, the outcome regarding Asuka's death would've been the same regardless of whether she disguised herself or not. Knowing that her death couldn't have been prevented, she felt way more capable of accepting the loss, which she had never fully done before now. Coming to peace with what happened then, she no longer felt the need to avenge Asuka. Of course, her anger towards Reiko never fully disappeared and she still never wants to see her face ever again.

Masako also wanted to make things right personally with Anthony and Faye. She had caused the two so much grief and pain when they never deserved it. While she knew Faye would give her punishment upon her exiting prison, she also began to form her own punishment within her mind and hoped that they would also accept what punishment she had in mind alongside whatever Faye had in mind.

When the day of release came, she was promptly summoned to Maid High Academy and after a long talk about her experiences, Hoshiko reminded her about Faye's punishment. A meeting was then set up between her, Anthony, and Faye a few days later.

-Flashback Start-

-Maid High Academy-

"Welcome you two. I'm glad you both were able to set aside time for this meeting." Hoshiko welcomes Anthony and Faye into her office.

"Glad we could make it." Anthony replies with a smile.

"Hello headmistress." Faye greets her with no discernable emotion.

Hoshiko guides them to a table where three wooden chairs are placed, two on one side and only a single one on the other. Masako is already occupying the singular chair when she sees the two. Anthony and Faye sit in the other 2 chairs as Hoshiko stands close by overlooking the meeting.

"H-hello Anthony and Faye. It's um…been a while…" She gives a nervous expression while running her fingers through her long, flowing golden hair.

"Hi Masako. No need to be so nervous." Anthony tries to calm her down with a smile and a soothing voice.

"Hello." Is all Faye is able to muster while maintaining her polite mannerisms.

Awkward silence fills the room for the next 15 seconds before Masako bravely starts the conversation.

"Listen…I know you two are probably still very angry with me about what I did three years ago. If you still don't forgive me for it, I understand completely. I…just want to make this right. I know I haven't really had a chance to do so before now."

"You better believe I don't." Faye quickly states with a bit of scorn, "What you did to master was unforgivable, after all."

"I didn't like what you did to me at all, but I can understand why you did what you did, even if you went way too far. I can't speak for Faye, but I forgave you long ago and as long as you no longer hold any malice to her, then there's nothing personal between us. At least, that's how I feel." Anthony says.

"I don't hold any malice towards her! Not anymore." She quickly says. She then asks, "Forgive me if I'm delving too deeply into your personal life but…did you fully recover from the…torment I put you through?"

Anthony takes a brief moment to think before responding, "Physically? Yeah, she" he points to Faye, "helped me recover any Ki I lost from you. Mentally? That's…a bit of a different story." He turns his head away slightly.

Her face suddenly shifts from one of nervousness to one of concern, "What happened?" She couldn't help but blurt out.

"I…erm…kinda got claustrophobia from that." He slowly replies. "I can't really handle tight spaces to well anymore."

Masako is horrified, "Are you serious?! I'm SO sorry! I hurt you so much that you fear small spaces now!? How…how do you not hate me?"

"Like I said, I understood where you were coming from. Compared to Naru, your motives for harming me were far more valid than hers ever were." Anthony explains.

"Naru…that's a name I haven't heard in a while. I did always wonder why she hated males so much. At least, it appeared she hated males."

He shrugs, "Beats me, but I don't really want to talk about her."

"Sorry." She says. A few moments of silence pass by before Masako tries to bring up the main subject, "I'm ready for my punishment Faye."

"Is that so?" She replies with a poker face. "Are you willing to accept whatever punishment I may give you?"

She nods solemnly, "Yes. Even if I must torture myself, I will do it."

"I see. I like this willingness to obey. In that case" She points to Anthony, "Become his personal maid. Additionally, for the first year of your service, I will be allowed to order you as I please, unless my order conflicts with master's orders, in which case master's orders always take priority."

Taking in this punishment, Masako slowly nods her head. "I see, thank you."

She gives her a bewildered expression, "Why are you thanking me?"

"You see," She begins to play with her hair a little, "I actually had been formulating my own punishment in my head and that punishment was to offer myself as a maid to Anthony. It would be my way of paying him back for all the torture I put him through, in addition to whatever you had in mind, but apparently, we had the same idea." She chuckles a little, "I remember back in the day when we often came up with similar ideas for school projects."

"Don't bring up the past." Faye says sternly. "Anyway, that is your punishment."

Masako shifts her gaze towards Anthony, "How do you feel about this? Would you feel comfortable taking somebody who tortured you on as your personal maid?"

He responds, "Me and Faye talked about this beforehand, and I don't mind bringing you on. I've already forgiven you for what happened then, so please don't bring it up anymore."

"If you even think of bringing harm to master again. I will kick your sorry butt so fast you won't even know what hit you." Faye threatens.

"I see." Masako stands up and walks towards Anthony. Once she is about 2 feet away from him, she bows to him, "I will follow and serve you to the best of my ability, so please take care of me master."

"Thank you Masako, I will take good care of you." Walking a little closer to her, he attempts to pat her on the head, only for her to instantly recoil back.

"Huh?" He can't help but say.

She awkwardly looks at him, "I'm…I'm sorry Antho- I mean master, but I really don't like being touched…"

Hearing this, he instantly steps back a few feet, "Oh! I'm sorry! I had no idea! Please forgive me!" He bows his head to her.

She quickly shakes her hands in an attempt to get him to stop bowing, "No! Please! There's nothing to apologize for. You didn't know. I'm sorry for not letting you know beforehand."

"If she is to become your maid, then we need to fill out the proper documents. Please come with me everyone." Hoshiko says.

"Ah that's right! Let's go girls." He replies.

-Flashback End-

Since that day, Masako has served Anthony with about just as much passion as Faye. In the following months and years, she grew to really love and respect him, way more than she ever did with Souta. She quickly learned, although she already had a feeling before, that Anthony truly cared about her and wanted to treat her with love and respect. He didn't keep her around just as some tool to be used at his convenience. He gave her a respectably sized bedroom where she had plenty of room to store whatever she liked in there. The food she was given to prepare with was of vastly superior quality compared to what she had at the mansion. Anthony gave her a respectable amount of work that, while difficult at times, was never to overwhelming. He also gave her breaks at times. Finally, and perhaps most importantly to her, he listened and cared about what she had to say. He wasn't solely interested in her just for her powers. No, he was also interested in getting to know her as a person. A person who has thoughts, feelings, experiences, and so much more. That was something Souta never gave her. For this reason, amongst others, she was able to place her full trust in him and he eventually became the first person she could touch without feeling repulsed. Later on, she would eventually be able to touch the other people that she lived with, although she still couldn't touch anyone outside her family without feeling repulsed. Her personality and behavior would also become a lot more cheerful and animated overtime, which is how she used to be before the Reiko incident.

In her early days, she quickly learned of Anthony's secret through the same method Faye used. While he was reluctant to confirm it to her, he eventually did so. She promised to never tell anyone else for as long as she is alive.

Her relationships with everyone else also vastly improved as the years went by. It took a few years, but the Hinata Inn residents slowly became able to trust her, especially since she was Anthony's maid. The person she by far had the hardest time gaining the trust of was Faye. After the Hinata Inn attack, the roles of their feelings towards each other were basically reversed. While Masako no longer felt any sort of ill will towards her, the same couldn't be said the other way around.

Faye used think positively of her back when they were friends, and it even persisted a short while after the incident with Reiko occurred. However, as Masako continuously ignored her and eventually graduated from the academy, she slowly began to forget about her. This pretty much completely solidified once she became a maid to Anthony. While she did greatly care about her back in the day when they were friends, that absolutely paled in comparison to how much she cared and valued Anthony. He saved her life when he was near death himself. She had never seen such an act of selflessness before in her life, and it deeply moved her. Thus, she vowed to do whatever she could to protect and serve him, even if that meant going against her former friends, Masako and Reiko.

When she failed to protect him when Masako tortured him, she initially had some trouble coping with it. She blamed herself for failing her duty as a maid. That was until Anthony talked to her and managed to make her realize that it wasn't her fault whatsoever for the pain he went through. Even after that was cleared up, she still felt a huge amount of hatred towards Masako. Initially, she thought about putting her through the same amount of torture as Anthony for her punishment. She was talked out of it by him when he stated that no one should go through what he went through, not even her. The next best thing she could think of was to have her submit to Anthony permanently and personally be allowed to order her as she pleases for one year.

For the first year, Faye was pretty brutal with the orders she gave. She constantly had Masako do the housework. Not like she didn't do them either, but she typically gave the more difficult ones to her, like scrubbing toilets, cleaning gutters, or running huge grocery errands. Orders were often very precise, such wiping off every piece of rust off of an old wheelbarrow. If she failed any order given, then Faye would often punish her by lumping even more work onto her. Anthony made sure she didn't go too far though.

While Faye was ruthless at times, Masako hardly ever complained about it. She knew Faye still hated her and was doing it on purpose. Despite how hard the chores were, that didn't affect her nearly as much as her personal relationship with her. Masako tried many times to make conversation with her, no matter how trivial it was. The vast majority of the time, Faye simply refused to speak with her and always gave her the cold shoulder.

The bitter irony. Masako often thought when attempting to speak with her. She was originally the one that gave Faye a hand wave of dismissal back at the school when she thought she killed Asuka. Now, the tables have turned thanks to what she did to Anthony.

Once the first year of Masako's service ended, Faye could no longer order her as she pleased. They became equal in status when it came to their master/servant relationship with Anthony. Regardless, Faye kept up her usual cold demeanor with her, though now she would occasionally praise her if she did something difficult.

In the later years, Faye would, at a snail's pace, grow to slowly respect her. She observed just how devoted and loyal she was to Anthony. Additionally, she was excellent at whatever she did. These two attributes were what won Faye over in the long run. Slowly opening up to her, Faye allowed herself to be more open with her and they even had some fruitful conversations with one another.

After Masako had served Anthony for 8 years, Faye brought her into her bedroom one night. There, she told Masako that due to all that she has done over the years, she felt she could finally fully trust her and no longer holds any grudge against her. Of course, she still doesn't like what she did then, but she now doesn't hold any personal feelings of hate towards her anymore. Once she heard that, she practically leapt into her arms sobbing and thanking her. Once she finishes crying, she asks her if they could restart their friendship anew. With a small smile, Faye said that they could.

Finally winning over Faye's heart, Masako now has the trust of everyone she cares about, which she is very thankful for. She is likewise extremely thankful to now have a family that cares about her, which she was unsure she would ever have.

"Is breakfast ready yet?" Sana whines as his stomach grumbles softly.

"Almost, be patient." Masako replies with a smile as she flips something in a skillet with a spatula.

"What are we having?" Mika excitedly asks as she licks her lips smelling the wonderful scent of something soft and fluffy cooking.

"We're making master's favorite, pancakes." Faye responds.

"YAY!" The children cry out while gripping their forks.

Apparently, some of Anthony's western traditions have rubbed off on Motoko and the others, as they now often dine using spoons and forks rather than chopsticks. They do try to use both methods of consuming food equally depending on the dishes they eat.

As soon as the pancakes finish cooking, everyone sits down and eat breakfast together, chatting and laughing as a family.

Ah, this really is nice. I love these sorts of days when I can be off work and hang out with my family. Anthony thinks as he bites into his favorite food. His and Motoko's work schedules are often very busy, which means they are sometimes gone from home most of the day. This often meant Faye and Masako would have to babysit the kids. Thankfully, to his surprise, they turned out to be rather competent in taking care of and hanging out with the kids. Both Mika and Sana love them, although if you had to ask them which maid they prefer, then they would both say Masako. This is mostly due to her being more upbeat and carefree than Faye, and thus more approachable and easier to hang out with.

Once they finish eating, Anthony suddenly gets a call.

Fishing his phone from his pocket, he looks to see who is calling. Upon seeing the name, he sighs. "Sorry, work call. I'll be back in a moment hopefully."

"Take your time dear." Motoko smiles at him.

He gives a small nod as he leaves the room. He enters the living room and answers the call.

"Hey Su, I hope this is important, cause it's my off day ya know." He begins in a slightly annoyed tone.

"Sheesh! That's cold!" Su initially starts with a tone that sounds like she is offended, but she quickly begins giggling. "I know it's your off day, but this is important."

"What is it?"

"You know those finance documents you said you sent to me yesterday?"

"Yeah. What about them?"

"I never got them."

"Huh? I swear I sent them though!"

"Welp, if ya did, the red light they are at in cyber traffic must be taking a reeaaallly long time to change!" She giggles again.

He snorts, "My internet isn't that bad! Geeze…stop picking on me." He sighs

"Haha!" She laughs, then her tone becomes more serious, "Sorry. It's fun picking on you from time to time. Anyway, can you please check again if you really sent them?"

"Yeah. It won't take too long anyway. Give me a moment." Staying on the line with her, he goes to his bedroom to power on his laptop that he has in there. Checking through his email, he realizes that there is something in his draft folder. Clicking on it, he realizes that the email in there is the same one he supposedly sent to Su.

"Erm…well, I found it. In my drafts folder…" He admits in a bit of an embarrassed tone.

"Hehe. As I thought, you didn't send it." She replies. Even though he can't see her right now, he has a feeling that she is smirking at him.

Hitting the send button, he asks, "Well, I sent it now. Do you have it?"

After a few moments of silence, she chirps, "Yep! It's here now! Thanks! I guess I better let you go now. See you later today."

She is about to hang up when he shouts, "Wait!"

"What is it?"

"What do you mean we're seeing each other today?"

"You haven't heard from Mei about it yet? I'm surprised."

"Heard about what?" At that moment, his phone begins to buzz indicating someone is trying to call him. "Wait a moment."

He looks at his screen to see who is calling and to his surprise, it's Mei. He brings the phone back to his ear, "Well whadya know, Mei is calling me right now."

"Answer it then!" She quickly says, "She probably wants to tell you what she told the rest of us."

"Alright then. I'll talk to you later Su."

"Yep. Bye bye!" She hangs up the phone.

Just as soon as she hangs up, Anthony answers the next call. "Hey Mei."

"Hi Anthony! It's been a little while. How've you been?"

"Pretty good. How about you?"

"Not too bad. Listen, I know this is pretty random, but are you and your family doing anything today?"

"No plans as far as I know for any of us. Why?"

There's a long pause before she replies. And when she does, there's some quavering in her voice, "Naru…wants to see you guys…and everyone else too."

"She does?" He replies in a suspicious tone.

In the past 15 years, Mei has become good friends with all the residents of the inn. She talks and hangs out with them on a regular basis. She and her family have also kept in touch with Naru throughout her years in prison. Even though the residents could ask how she is doing, they decided to not associate themselves with her anymore and they specifically asked Mei to not bring her up in conversation. She has respected their wishes all this time.

"Yes. I know you all have asked me to not bring her up anymore, but she has been really wanting to see you all, even if it's only once." She replies.

"And why does she?"

"You may not believe me, but she has gotten MUCH better over the past several years. It was a long and difficult journey, but she has overcome her misandry and violent tendencies and now she deeply regrets what she has done."

"Really?" He asks in a doubtful tone.

"Yes, I promise she has. I've been with her for a long time now and I think I have a pretty good idea of how she's feeling deep down. If you don't wish to see her, then that's fine. However, I've contacted everyone except for your family by now and they've all said they are willing to see her once, provided I accompany her."

"…where are you all planning to meet?"

"Magical Maid Café."

"When?"

"In about 6 hours from now."

"Alright. I'll talk about it with my family and I'll text you with our answer."

"Thank you. I know what she did back then was horrible. There is no denying that. However, she really has changed since then. I believe you should give her a second chance."

"I see. Even if I'm having a bit of a hard time seeing it, I trust your words. Like I said, I'll talk about it with my family and will give you a response later."

"Ok. I'm glad to hear that. I'll talk to you later. Bye."

"Bye."

He hangs up the phone and sighs.

"Naru wants to meet up with all of us huh?" He mumbles as he stretches his back. "I guess this is what Su was referring to."

Speaking of Su, she and Anthony have gotten into an interesting relationship in the years since the Hinata Inn attack.

After Su flew back to Molmol with her family, she was immediately reverted back to her child form. As expected, she lost all her memories as an adult. Thus, she was completely confused as to why she was back in Molmol and pleaded with her family to let her return to Souta's mansion so she could get Naru. That was when she was brought up to speed on whole situation. Not seeing the seriousness of the matter, she simply asked if they could fund some money towards rebuilding the inn, alongside returning to it once it was rebuilt. She even asked for her own lab to be built in the basement. Her family was not amused whatsoever with her selfish requests and they began to drill her about everything she has done wrong.

Not long after returning home, she was put before a trail initiated by her family. Finding her guilty of owning illegal machines and devices on foreign soil, as well as charges of harming Keitaro, including a single attack on Anthony. Confirming her exact crimes was a bit difficult, since while she quite deliberately attacked Keitaro and Anthony, she never did so with any malice. Nor did she ever do it with the intent to kill or permanently harm them. The court initially wouldn't have believed such a thing, but Keitaro and the others confirmed that her intentions were to just "play" and nothing else.

In the end, she was convicted with unknowingly attempting murder on Anthony, as her missile attack would've killed him had they successfully blown up in his face as planned. Since it was proven Keitaro couldn't die from her explosions at the time, the same convict used for her attack against Anthony couldn't be applied here. Instead, she was convicted of extreme domestic violence against Keitaro. She was convicted of owning illegal machinery on foreign soil, such as her nuclear reactor. Finally, she had a few more convictions thrown on for attempting to mind control Faye and for assisting RubyCorp in their plan to demolish Hinata Inn. For all these crimes, she was sentenced to 15 years in prison. Kicking and screaming, Su was forcefully thrown into her cell to think over all that she has done. That included betraying the tenants by complying with RubyCorp, all because she was lured with food, specifically bananas. The entire court and everything related to Su were kept top secret in the country. Amalla and Lamba did not want the entire country to know that one of their princesses had committed major crimes. Thus, the whole country continued to believe that she was attending school overseas.

The first few months were absolutely horrid for the Molmolian girl. Normally jumping all over the place with free reign and building whatever she felt like, she was definitely not prepared to spend time in the small cell she was put in that only contained some basic necessities like a bed, sink, and toilet. She was also isolated from the other inmates. Having nothing to do, she got so bored that she felt like literally ripping her hair out and constructing something with that alone to help her escape. Speaking of, she definitely tried to escape, countless times even. These ranged from jumping all over her cell, looking for an escape route, to attempting to squeeze through the bars, to trying to chew off the bars with her teeth. She even tried to bribe her captors with promises of amazing inventions if they let her go. None of these tactics worked. Thus, she continued to sit in her cell, bored out of her mind. This was most definitely not any sort of play.

Once she realized attempting to escape was a waste of time, she decided to spend her days daydreaming. Whether that be about potential inventions, her friends back in the inn, or food, she constantly lied down on her back, closed her eyes, and thought about these things. Later on, she began to think about herself and what she had done all these years. She began to wonder what she had done to deserve this. She had simply wanted to build super amazing inventions and test them on people, specifically Keitaro. She had to make a nuclear reactor to power such things. What was so wrong about all of that?

During this entire period it should be noted that Su had a therapist that regularly visited twice a week who tried to have her realize the error of her ways. Unfortunately, while Su would give her therapist her attention, she failed to really learn anything from her. The only reason she gave any attention to her at all was simply because she was starving for any sort of social interaction. Her family sometimes stopped by and attempted to talk with her, but they would always basically say the same things as her therapist. Overall, she felt like no one understood her and felt extremely lonely and isolated as of a result. It didn't take long for her happy cheerful self to wither down into a depressed, melancholy individual.

Things began to change once Su began to self-reflect on her behavior. About 6 months after being in prison, she began to really take a long, hard look at herself to see where she had gone wrong. She had always thought she and everyone else were simply having fun. Blowing up the inn and Keitaro was always harmless fun. It wasn't like he ever got seriously or permanently injured, and he often laughed the attacks off like they were nothing. He was having fun…right? She certainly was at least, so he had to of had fun too. It seemed that way until she tried to blast him and Anthony with those missiles. Something different happened that time. Haruka yelled at her and neither of the boys looked like they were having fun. Why was that?

She heard from Sarah that Anthony didn't have the same invincibility Keitaro did, hence she could've actually seriously injured him. That…didn't sound fun at all. She never wanted to legitimately harm him. Then she heard that Keitaro was losing his invincibility from Haruka. In all honesty though, she didn't really take what she said seriously. He's been invincible for over 3 years now for some reason, why would it disappear now?

Regardless, everyone began to treat him differently. Additionally, she and the other girls except for Shinobu were heavily criticized for being cruel to him and Anthony. At the time, she didn't fully understand why that was the case. Didn't everyone enjoy seeing him fly miles away from the inn? She remembers Kitsune in particular laughing a ton.

Between her self-reflection and what her parents and therapists said, there was one event that she recalled that finally made her completely understand that what she did was horrible. Kanako's kick to her. Back when she was traveling with Naru and Masako to Souta's mansion, Kanako had found them and she proceeded to kick her with just as much power as a Naru Punch. She remembered just how much that really hurt. It even required a maid to heal her!

She couldn't help but wonder just how Keitaro managed to take those Naru Punches while hardly ever complaining about the pain, since he has mentioned before from time to time that they do indeed hurt. Thinking about that, she also thought about Motoko's blade attacks as well as her very own attacks, which she has always thought of as "playing" with him.

It was this that she realized, to her horror, that she hadn't really been playing with Keitaro. She instead had caused him serious pain time and time again for three years, all in the name of fun and play. He never enjoyed her experiments on him, since they always involved him getting injured in some way. All she had been to him was a horrible abuser and terrorizer. At this, she began to cry and weep for him, loudly crying that she was sorry for everything she had ever done to him over and over again.

At some point during her crying she suddenly fell unconscious. Once she woke up, she was blasted by many memories, as well as realizing that she was much taller than before.

"My younger self…you finally realized. I'm so glad." Su, now an adult, couldn't help but smile and cry happy tears. "I guess my condition to grow up was to realize that my definition of "play" was completely incorrect and in fact quite dangerous."

Her parents and therapist quickly learned of her transformation and they were very happy for her. After another few months in prison, Su got her first chance at parole. Thankfully, due to her transformation, her family felt very confident that she had learned her lesson and managed to end her prison sentence 14 years early.

After spending a few months with her family, as well as calling Keitaro and the others to let them know of her situation, she flew back to Japan. She was quickly accepted by everyone now that she has learned from her mistakes and promised to never torture or abuse anyone ever again, regardless of whether they are invincible or not. Sarah in particular was very happy to see her again.

It was around this time that she and Anthony started to talk a lot with one another about business. Since practically all the companies that existed in this world were identical to the ones back in his old world, Anthony had the unique advantage of knowing exactly which companies would become big and when. Take complete advantage of this opportunity, he began to use the money he earned from his part-time job at the bakery to invest in companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and Apple. Companies that while decently big or small now, would continue to grow or explode in the future. His efforts paid off as the months went by and the companies grew as expected. Soon enough he had a lot of money on his hands.

This was around the time he decided to move out of Hinata Inn and get his own place to live. While the tenants were very sad to see him go, they understood that as time moves on peoples lives change. Although, he didn't move too far away from the inn, just about 15 minutes away in a decently sized home. So he still often visited the inn after moving out. Faye also moved out at the same time so she could be with her master. Later on, Motoko and Masako would move into his home.

Not long after moving into his own home, he approached Su with a business opportunity. Knowing that smartphones weren't too far off from becoming the next big game changer in the world of technology, he figured that he and Su could enter that market early on before the other big companies could establish their foothold. The agreement would be that she would construct smartphones based on blueprints he made, as well developing the software for them. In turn, Anthony would fund the entire procedure. While she was a little hesitant about doing such a risky project, she ultimately agreed to his proposal. Therefore, after following through some legal procedures, the MorganSu company was formed.

Faye was quickly hired to be their accountant, since she is quite good at math. Despite receiving a paycheck for her work, she always immediately gave it to Anthony, citing working for him is payment enough and that she wishes he use the money for whatever he thinks is best. Developing their phone, the SkyPhone, for many months, it was eventually released to critical acclaim. The company quickly began to rake in thousands and even millions of dollars. They were incredibly pleased with the result and the company quickly grew larger and larger, to the point that they now have several hundred employees.

Unlike other companies who released their own smartphones later on, he preferred to take things slow and steady. Carefully working on new features and updates with Su, he didn't want to rush potentially buggy new features to the market. Valuing quality over speed, the company would often wait two or three years before releasing major updates or new models. Thankfully, this strategy worked. So while they didn't pump out quite as many phones or updates as their competitors, they would release very high quality updates, both for hardware and software. This also had a more beneficial effect on the environment, as since they were building fewer phones, they also had to gather fewer parts.

This has continued on to the present day, with MorganSu bigger than ever. Through working with Su, Anthony began to greatly trust her more and more. They became such good friends that one day Anthony felt comfortable enough to tell her his big secret, that he was from another world. And with that revelation, came a giant request.

-Flashback Start-

-Anthony's Home-

"Oh my goodness! Is all what you're saying true?!" Su asks shocked. Her, Anthony, and Faye are in the living room.

Anthony nods, "Yes, it's all true. If you don't believe me, Faye, Motoko, and Sarah will back me up."

"No, I believe you. It's just…incredible. To think you got transferred here after reading our story created by a guy from your world is just mind-boggling. How many people know you're not originally from this world?"

"Only the people I mentioned just now."

Su begins to count the number of people on her fingers, "So Faye, Motoko, and Sarah. Got it. Can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"Why did you decide to tell me about it? It's clear this secret is very valuable to you if only three people know after all these years."

"Well…" He begins to twiddle his fingers, "The first reason is I trust you. Back when I first joined this world, I initially didn't like you nor did I want to be around you. I knew how crazy you were then with blasting Keitaro and thinking of it all as "play". I certainly didn't want to end up being your next target."

"…and you ended up being my next target." She says somberly while hanging her head low. Trying to "greet" him and Keitaro with those missiles was definitely one of her low points in life.

"Yeah." He confirms. "I've forgiven you since then so please don't worry about it anymore. Anyway, my opinion of you did go further south for a while when you were at Souta's mansion. However, once you revealed your adult form and showed just how mature and smart you are, I realized that deep down you're actually a really great girl. You just had to get past your very flawed thinking regarding playing with people."

"W-wow, really?" She blushes a little at being complimented.

He nods, "Yep. After you came back from prison and started up MorganSu with me, I further realized just how awesome you are with inventing, building, and how much you care about people."

Su continues to blush as Anthony resumes, "Seeing how reliable and trustworthy you have been for the past several months now, I feel like you have earned enough of my trust to know my secret and to never share it with anyone."

"O-Of course! I would never share this knowledge with anyone! You have my word." She bows to him to further prove her seriousness.

He smiles, "Thank you. I know you will. Now, I do actually have a second reason as to why I told you this." He begins to frown.

Noticing his demeanor changing slightly, she asks with a hint of concern, "What is it?"

Taking a deep breathe, he says, "I had a family I was living with before being transported here. Mom, dad, a brother and a sister. We didn't have a ton, but we were a happy family living peacefully together. Since I got transported here randomly, they have no idea what happened to me, nor do I know what happened to them since then. I'm sure they think I'm dead at this point, and I hate imagining the looks of their crying faces at the thought of that. I've also desperately wanted to see them from time to time." Clasping his hands together he pleads, "So please Su! Is there any way you could build a machine that would transport me back to my original world?"

Even Faye asks her to help, "Please Su, if it's at all possible, construct a machine that allows master to see his family again."

She thinks for a moment and then sadly shakes her head. Looking at Anthony with a face that says she is deeply sorry, she says, "It's impossible. I've looked into travelling between worlds in the past before and tried many different theories and experiments. All have failed. There is simply no way to forcefully link two worlds together. I highly doubt even magic could do anything to allow this to occur. I'm so sorry. I'm sure not being able to see your family has been really rough on you. Though honestly, I have no idea how you managed to get in here."

Honestly already expecting the worse to a degree, he simply nods, "It's alright. I appreciate the honest answer. Nothing we can do about it."

However, later that night, Faye could hear him slowly sobbing for many hours that night.

Hearing him cry causes her to shed a few tears too, Poor, poor master. He must be devastated knowing he can't ever see his family again. I wish I could bring his family here or let him go back somehow. I'd do anything to let either of those things happen. I have amazing healing skills and martial arts but yet…I feel so powerless right now. Master, I pray that you are able to recover from this.

-Flashback End-

Anthony was eventually able to leave his past behind and focus on the road ahead of him, but there would still be times where he thought about his family. Though now, he has his own precious family that he loves just as much as his previous family. He wouldn't give them up for anything. If he was given the opportunity to go back to his old family at the cost of leaving his new family behind, he would not take that opportunity. That is how much he loves and values his new family he has made in this world.

Going into the kitchen, Anthony presents the news that Mei told him.

"That brute dares to show her face after all she's done to master? How deplorable." Faye scornfully says.

"She wasn't all that pleasant when I was with her. However, I do wonder if she truly has gotten over her misandry and violent behavior as Mei said she did." Masako adds.

"Naru? Is she that girl who hurt dad badly in the past?" Mika asks.

"She's a meanie for hurting daddy!" Sana shows a cute angry expression.

Anthony confirms, "Yeah, she's the one. She's been in prison for being very hurtful to others for a long time. But it sounds like she was released pretty recently."

Anthony and Motoko have explained Naru's history of violence pretty vaguely with their kids before. They were never too specific on the details and while they did say that Anthony got hurt pretty badly by her once, they never really explained how he got hurt aside from him making Naru angry and being punched hard as of a result. They also explained that Faye helped heal him, but again it was pretty vague and only the general term of healing was used. The kids are unaware of the existence of magic as of now. They have thought about telling them someday but they have not reached a final decision yet.

"Interesting, so her 15-year sentence is finally over huh." Motoko says.

"Sounds like it." Anthony says. Then he adds, "So, what do you guys think of what Mei said?"

Faye says, "If I may be so humble as to give my opinion, I think the brute is absolutely shameless in desiring to see any of us again, no less master. However, I will do whatever master thinks is best."

Masako says, "I'm curious in seeing if she has changed or not, but ultimately, I don't care too much whether I see her again or not. Like Faye, I'll do whatever master thinks is best."

"She's a meanie! I don't wanna meet her!" Sana pouts heavily.

"I wonder what she looks like now. You've shown me a picture from her early 20's before, so I imagine she looks a lot different now." Mika says. "Can't say I'd be excited to meet her though."

Motoko says, "Well, she was a good friend of mine a long time ago, even if we primarily bonded over our mutual hatred of men. While I still hate what she did during the whole RubyCorp thing and what she did to both Urashima and my dear husband, there have been times where I wish she would come to her senses and we could reconcile. I could never come to truly hate her from the bottom of my heart. I'm alright with seeing her one more time at least."

Sitting down and resuming his food, Anthony hears the various responses from his family. He eats in silence until Motoko speaks up.

"Dear? What about you? Your opinion matters as well."

Taking a moment to chew and swallow his food, he responds, "I did truly hate her for a long time. I despised her even before I transported into this world. However, now that it's been many years and she has finally gotten the retribution she deserves, I don't hold as many negative feelings towards her anymore. I still could care less if I ever saw her again, but if she truly has changed for the better and is genuinely sorry for all the crap she put us through, then I'd be willing to explore the possibility of becoming friends with her. I think everyone deserves a second chance after all."

"So, I suppose that means we're going then?" Motoko asks.

"I don't wanna see that meanie!" Sana complains again.

"If everyone is going to be there like Mei said they would." Anthony starts, "Then I think there's a good chance Chikao and Hikari will be there."

"Yay! I wanna see them! It's been too long since I've last saw them!" Sana shouts gleefully.

"It'll be great seeing them again! I can't wait!" Mika agrees.

Anthony waves his hands, "Woah woah woah! Don't get ahead of yourselves. We don't know for sure if they'll be there."

Masako and Motoko chuckle at this.

"Anyway." Anthony continues, "I think we should go. It's a great opportunity to see everyone in one place again. We haven't all met up in some time."

Everyone agrees. Anthony texts Mei their answer. A few hours later, they head out for Magical Maid Café.

-Hinata Town-

As Anthony's family head towards the café, they eventually happen upon a crossway. Waiting for the signal indicating they can cross, Anthony holds Sana's hand while Motoko holds Mika's. Faye and Masako follow from behind.

While they are here, Faye is instantly reminded of the day she met Anthony. It was at this very crossway that he saved her life. If he hadn't been there and risked his own life to save hers, then she wouldn't be standing here right now with her family. Very thankful for what he did and glad that she is his maid, she forms a smile seemingly out of nowhere. Masako notices this but doesn't comment on it.

Upon crossing safely to the other side, they spot four familiar faces.

"Chikao! Hikari!" Sana and Mika cry as they rush to hug them.

Instantly hearing and recognizing their voices, Chikao and Hikari likewise call out their names and run towards them.

Looking up from the children rushing towards each other and hugging one another, he sees two adults standing next to each other.

"Keitaro! Mitsune! Fancy seeing you two out here!" Anthony calls out to them.

The two smile and come towards him in response.

"Hey Anthony! I could say the same to you. Hey to you as well Motoko, Faye, and Masako." Keitaro says.

"Hi everyone!" Mitsune waves and gives a round warm smile to everyone.

Motoko and the maids give their greetings.

"It's been too long since we've last seen you guys. How've you all been?" Anthony asks.

Keitaro replies, "Oh, same old same old. The kids keep us on our toes a lot but it's fun. Work has been good too. Seta said that he has found an area someplace in Europe that may have some extremely ancient ruins, but he hasn't confirmed it yet. He'll likely drag me along with him in a few weeks to explore. Good news is if these ancient ruins really do exist then we will likely make large profits from it! Thankfully, teaching has been able to provide sufficient income in the meantime."

"That Seta, he always goes wherever he darn pleases." Motoko states in a playful tone.

"How's your latest book coming along Mitsune?" Masako asks, "I've been dying to read it ever since you told me you were starting to make it!"

"My, you're impatient!" She giggles in reply. "It's been coming along great! The editors have felt really moved by it and if things go to plan, I'll be able to release it in a few months. I talk a lot about my personal life in it, including when I was an alcoholic and trickster, so I'm really nervous about how the general public will receive it."

Keitaro plants a quick kiss on her cheek, "I've already told you; it's going to be a big hit! All of your previous books have been released to critical acclaim, so I can't see how this one will be any different. I'm so proud of you for being this brave in opening up about your life."

"Oh Keitaro…" She blushes a little and gives him a kiss on the cheek in return.

"Here we go again." Anthony smirks.

This quickly causes the two to separate. Now they feel embarrassed for flirting like that out in public. In front of Anthony's family, no less.

"I swear, it sometimes feels like they are still on their first honeymoon." Masako comments.

"Something like that, yeah." Faye says.

As Anthony and Motoko had changed a lot throughout the past 15 years, Keitaro and Mitsune have likewise changed a lot in the same time period.

A week after the Hinata Inn attack, the two formally announced that they were dating to everyone. Responses overall were very positive and most hoped that they would be very happy together. The only people who were not nearly as happy with the announcement were Kanako and Shinobu.

The former was really upset that Keitaro had given her up for a former drunk who loved to play pranks and seduce people into giving her money. In fact, she was so upset that she cried herself to sleep for a month straight. She would never show how distraught she was in public though. However, Keitaro, knowing how she felt about him, had a long talk with her about why they were dating. Mitsune gave him permission to talk about that night with her. Through that talk, she began to understand a little more about why he chose her in the end. Feeling sorry for her, Keitaro promised that, while he wouldn't make her a co-manager of the inn, he would give her a job that would be very important, a treasurer. Being good with math, she would be in charge of keeping up with finances and figuring out what the budget would be spent on. Thus, she would have considerable power over what was services/features allowed in the inn and what wasn't. This made her pretty happy and in the end, she slowly came to accept his and Mitsune's status as lovers.

The latter, who held deep romantic feelings for Keitaro, was pretty shocked at the news. While she was happy for the two of them and hoped they would be happy together, she couldn't help but feel deeply saddened at having lost the battle for Keitaro's heart.

It's not like I tried that hard anyway. I was always too scared to make any moves on him. I have no one to blame but myself. She thought after the announcement. Although she tried to hide it, she occasionally showed how depressed she was through her actions and behavior. Mitsune, having a keen eye for seeing how people truly felt, figured out in no time flat how she was feeling. In fact, she knew from the start that she would have a difficult time with this.

Even Keitaro noticed something was off about Shinobu a few days after the announcement. He asked her if anything was wrong, and she somewhat lamely tried to deny it. He pushed harder, as he really wanted to help her with whatever she was going through.

Feeling like she may finally be able to put her feelings to rest if he knew about them as well, Shinobu confesses her love towards Keitaro. He was of course completely shocked by this confession, as he had no idea she was in love with him. He was able to quickly piece together why she felt depressed and immediately tried to help make her feel better. He told her that while he had no idea of her feelings towards him, he was extremely thankful for them and was glad she was brave enough to tell him. However, he very politely rejects her as he obviously already has Mitsune. Additionally, he has always seen her as a little sister and not so much as a romantic interest.

Shinobu thanks him for his honesty through her tears. She tells him that she figured her feelings would probably always be unrequited, but she is glad that she was able to tell him as well. The discussion ultimately ended with Keitaro telling her he will always treasure her as a very close friend and that she is always free to come to him for anything. Through one giant hug, Shinobu gives Keitaro a kiss on the cheek as a reminder that she'll always care about him as well.

Since then, she was able to slowly let go of her romantic feelings and be more supportive of their relationship.

As Keitaro and Mitsune dated and got closer, many other things vastly changed in their lives. Between the money received from winning in court and what Souta's son gave him, Keitaro was able to fully rebuild the inn. Really liking the old look, he decided to stay faithful to the original design using some blueprints Hina had at her home. Although, this didn't stop him from making some improvements to the place, such as adding an artificial hot spring, bringing the total amount of hot springs to 2. Once it was rebuilt 4 months later, all the tenants moved back in. That isn't all though.

As part of the rebuilding process, Keitaro decided to make some major changes to how the inn is run. First, he converted the all-girls dormitory back into a proper inn where both genders could come and stay. Second, he opened the inn back up for public business, allowing people to bathe in the hot springs at specific hours for a fee. Additionally, guests would be allowed to stay for the night in an all-new section of the inn that specifically houses guest rooms. The tenants' rooms would be in a separate section of the building that is barred off from the public. Third, he hired on people to take care of certain tasks around the inn. Namely Kanako as treasurer, and Shinobu as chef. The other tenants would help out with cleaning and various other tasks as time permitted them and Keitaro would be provided compensation in return. As time went on, Keitaro would officially hire people to help clean and maintain the inn as the tenants slowly moved out. Mitsune would also join as a co-manager once she and Keitaro married.

As for their careers, Keitaro successfully entered Tokyo U and studied there for a few years, earning a degree in archaeology. He likewise got a teaching degree in both archaeology and history, following in Seta's footsteps. Thankfully, Keitaro never inherited his mentor's terrible driving skills, nor did he ever change his glasses to look like his. He makes a good amount of money between his teaching and inn duties. Once in a while, Seta will have him go overseas for a couple weeks to dig up ruins he found or thinks he found. During his absence, Mitsune takes over all the duties of being the manager. Occasionally it's overwhelming for her and during those times Haruka is always willing to lend a helping hand.

As for Mitsune, she initially started to work in a local bookstore to pay back Keitaro for all the times she conned him out of his money. Even though she insisted, he would never take the money from her and instead told her to use it for herself. Caving in, she decided to use her money to further progress towards her ultimate career, a novelist. Already starting to jot down her thoughts onto paper right after her near-rape experience, she continued to write and develop her book over the coming months. Keitaro proofread it numerous times and offered his own insight for the topic at hand. Half a year later, her first book, discussing the realities of domestic abuse for both males and females, was self-published throughout Hinata Town and in the nearby towns. Keitaro was more than willing to help fund the printing of her books.

Mitsune's book deeply resonated with local readers and became way more popular than she ever expected it would be. She even had some supply issues due to how high the demand was. Quickly earning a sizable profit in the first few weeks of the book's release, she felt extremely motivated to begin work on a second book. And that she did. Deciding her next topic would be on alcohol and how it consumes your life, she spent the next 5 months writing and editing that book. Self-publishing that one as well, it was also released very positively. This was when she began to catch the attention of some big-name publishers. They offered to officially publish her books all over Japan and even have them translated and shipped overseas. With some encouragement from Keitaro and everyone else, she eventually agreed to publish them throughout Japan and overseas. Now, with 10 books under her belt and working on an 11th one at the moment, she has become a well-known author all throughout Japan. She's even a little bit popular overseas. Most of her books deal with domestic abuse and other serious topics that she has personally went through and experienced. For her 11th book, she is writing her first autobiography, which has made her quite nervous. Thankfully, everyone around her has been very supportive and due to that has the confidence to continue working on it. For all that she has done in the past, she is amazed and very thankful that she now has a loving family who she can rely on and she can support in return.

Speaking of family, she and Keitaro married about a year after they started dating. One year later she became pregnant with her first child, Chikao, whom she delivered safely and smoothly. Three years later, they had their second child, Hikari. As of now, Chikao is 12 years old while Hikari is 9 years old. As they sometimes hung out with Anthony's family, their kids got to know one another and all four of them are great friends with each other now.

As of now, they both still live at Hinata Inn and manage it. Mitsune fully quit drinking alcohol and has refused to drink it ever since she weened off of it 15 years ago. Sometimes she would be invited out to parties with her friends she made over the years, at which alcohol would be served. Her friends would sometimes try to have her drink alongside them, but she would always refuse, as she does not want to return to that lifestyle in any way, shape, or form.

Even though she doesn't drink anymore, she does still gamble on horse races on occasion. The frequency at which she does it is tiny compared to before. Typically, she'll only gamble a few times a year, mostly during holidays. She still loses regularly, but despite that she has a lot more genuine fun doing it than before.

"Where are you two headed?" Motoko asks.

Keitaro responds, "Magical Maid Café. Have you heard from Mei about what is going on?"

They nod. Anthony says, "She called me and told me about Naru. I take it you all are going to meet with her?"

He replies, "Yeah. Mei really made it a point that she has changed for the better. I want to see for myself if that's the case. It'd be amazing to have a conversation with her where I don't have to worry about getting myself blasted to the next district for being seemingly perverted. Because believe me, I would not survive that anymore."

Masako ackwardly shifts her gaze. She has not forgotten that she is the reason why he no longer has his invincibility. Back in the early stages of planning to take over the inn, they ran into a huge problem immediately. For some reason, a magical barrier covered the inn and it prevented anyone with sinister or malicious intentions from entering even the premises of the inn. This barrier was also the source of Keitaro's invincibility. How this barrier granted his invincibility? Nobody knows. However, knowing these two abilities of the barrier were definite facts, she used her mystery magic to construct a fake barrier that appeared to be the same as the original barrier. Overlapping the two barriers, she was able to successfully fool the Hinata Inn into accepting Masako's barrier. Her barrier got to work erasing the magic of the original barrier and in about a week's time, her barrier was all that was left. As of a result, Keitaro's invincibility naturally began to fail.

Years later, when Masako would become Anthony's maid, she remembered what she had done and apologized profusely to Keitaro for what she had done. He was quite shocked that she was the cause of his loss of invincibility, but to her surprise he didn't get upset at all. Rather, he was actually happy. When asked why, he said that while his invincibility definitely saved him from death hundreds of times, it also made him feel not human in a way. Being able to take on pain and injury no human should be able to withstand felt otherworldly to him, sorta like he was a deity. It certainly didn't help that in many of his flights when he crashed down he would be looked upon by the bystanders as some sort of monster. So, when he lost his inhuman power and was forced to deal with pain and injury just like any other person on the planet, he felt relieved. Now, he knew that no one would view him as a monster or a creep because he took no permanent damage.

Masako thanked him from the bottom of her heart for forgiving her and for not holding a grudge against her for it. Even though the situation was now cleared up, she decided to remove her fake barrier to see if any traces of the original barrier were still there. To her expectation and disappointment, the original barrier was long gone and no trace of it remained.

Mitsune adds her opinion, "I told her a long time ago that we were through as friends. Even though I said that, I honestly want to see if she has changed for the better. I'm still not sure about becoming friends with her again, but if we have a good first meeting after all these years, I'll consider it. How about you all?"

They all give their opinions on the matter as they walk towards the café. Soon enough, they arrive at their destination.

Meanwhile, in another part of Hinata Town. Two people are currently in a car.

"Mei, I'm really anxious about all of this. I know I said I wanted to do this, but do you really think they'll accept me after all I've done?" An anxious voice asks, sitting in the passenger seat.

"That all depends on how you present yourself Naru. You betrayed them and lost all of their trust because of that. I know it's been many years since that incident, but I'm sure they haven't fully forgotten about it. Especially considering they haven't wanted to hear anything about you all this time. If you show that you are genuinely remorseful for what you've done, apologize, and take full responsibility for your actions, then maybe they'll grant you a second chance." She replies as she stops the car at a red light. Having grown into a fine young lady, Mei now owns a fairly generic black car and works as a local office worker.

"I know, and I am remorseful for what I've done. I've really missed all of them and even if they all refuse to see me ever again after today, I'm just glad I can see them one last time."

Smiling, Mei continues her driving. She and Naru have been out and about all over Hinata Town since Mei is performing a variety of errands before heading over to Magical Maid Café. Throughout this entire journey, Naru has been fidgeting and playing with her hair, very nervous about how the people she betrayed would react upon seeing her. Would they glare at her cautiously? Would they immediately start blaming her once again for all the awful things she did back then? Would they swiftly kick her out of the café? Would they be open to hearing her out and how she changed for the better since then? She has no idea. All she can do is wait and see.

Naru's life has been particularly rough for the past 15 years. After realizing to her horror that Masako lied about keeping the inn and taking over it as their new manager, as well that the tenants she was once really good friends with no longer wanted anything to do with her, she broke down in tears. Not even trying to resist arrest, Hotaru and his officers took her down to the local jail, where she was once again placed behind bars. This time though, much higher security was enforced to prevent her escaping a second time. A week later she was put on trial for all the crimes she had been accused of. Some of these crimes were severe domestic abuse, escaping jail, and participating in an operation to destroy private property.

Despite realizing the error of her ways regarding trusting Masako and participating in their plan, she still believed everything else were Keitaro, Anthony, and Faye's fault. She also wasn't afraid of pinning some of the blame on Haruka for going with Anthony and Faye to report her violent behavior at Tokyo U. Her pathetic excuses of saying the boys' deserved punishment for being perverted and that she was wrongfully jailed in the first place were quickly dismissed due to the evidence brought forth by Keitaro and the others. In the end, she was sentenced to 15 years in jail. In addition to that, she was tacked on with 4500 hours of community service.

Initially, due to her history of violence, she was isolated from her other inmates and only had a select number of people allowed to visit her. Those people being her family, Hina, and her therapist. Like Su, she did not try to face her issues at all. Pinning the blame on the usual three, as well as Haruka and Su to some degree, she just was not able to see what she did wrong. Keitaro and the others reported her behavior to Tokyo U without even consulting her on it. Thus, she had every right to get upset and angry for that. Sure, she was supposed to look after Su, but it wasn't her fault that she went crazy and destroyed their room while she was sleeping. She couldn't have prevented that. Masako lied to her about becoming the new manager of Hinata Inn. She was their unwitting pawn in their scheme and thus shouldn't have been blamed for betraying the tenants. Finally, Keitaro was doing those perverted acts so often that there is no way they could've all been accidents! He was knowingly and purposefully peeking, groping, and getting into uncompromising positions with the girls. She was just giving him his just punishment! How could no one else see that?

These were the thoughts that were at the forefront of her mind for the first year or so of her stay in prison. She was so unbelievably stubborn that her parents and Hina wondered if it was even worth trying to reason with her. However, her therapist and Mei were strangely confident that they could get through to her. It would just take a lot of time and self-thought to get there.

Soon enough, after being in prison for around a year and a half, she began to try to do what her therapist and Mei have suggested numerous times at this point, putting herself in other peoples' shoes. What must it have felt like from the tenants' point of view? To have her and Su go off and think they were going on vacation when they were really going to try to replace Keitaro as manager and kick Anthony and Faye out. What about Anthony, who nearly died at her hands? What about Keitaro, who felt utter pain every time he was launched and he would be forced to walk all the way back by himself and spend his hard-earned money from various side jobs he took on once in a while on repairs for the inn that she caused by blasting him out? Also, the fact that he was constantly blamed for things, mostly perverted things, that he simply did not do. His efforts to keep the tenants happy and healthy often went unthanked, with Shinobu usually being the only one who thanks him on any sort of regular basis.

She often thought about these sorts of things whenever she wasn't doing community service. Speaking of community service, she really had a difficult time getting her hours in. Not being used to performing manual labor, it really took a toll on her and her body was constantly sore. She would often ask for breaks but would rarely get any. Sometimes it was all she could do from collapsing straight onto her bed whenever she finished a shift.

Ultimately, it was a combination of this community service and thinking of how Keitaro felt the past three years that led to her realizing her wrongdoings. Through her thankless labor, she realized just how difficult it was to do work like repairing fences, painting walls, screwing boards together, mopping, scrubbing. She had a taste of this sort of work back at the mansion, but she didn't really realize just how important it all was. These tasks, no matter how trivial or difficult they were, were really important to do. If not done, then things would fall apart, break down, and ultimately become unusable. It was through all this work that she began to understand just how much Keitaro had done for them all these years.

Often, she would tell him he was lazy for not getting something done quickly enough. Now, she grimaced at those times. He truly wasn't lazy, he worked HARD to keep the inn working and in order. Fixing those boards and walls was no easy task as she learned overtime. This was notably the first time she actually held any sort of deep respect for him. Sometimes she would be impressed when he aced a practice test or got through a day without doing any perverted acts, but it was never deep. This was different.

It only got better from there. Over a period of many months Naru would slowly come to terms that SHE was the one who created the rabbit hole she eventually fell down into. SHE was the one who performed those violent acts and thus deserved to be expelled from Tokyo U. SHE was the one who failed to look after Su properly. She should've been more diligent with looking after her, knowing how her personality was. While she truly didn't know about RubyCorp's ultimate plans, she should've never teamed up with them in the first place. She should've stayed in her jail cell and properly served her term, just like Motoko said. Mei and the others helped her further understand her deep rooted issues.

Naru's therapist often asked why she resorted to violence so quickly and why she quickly assumed the worst in boys. Sadly, she doesn't really know herself. She cited that her parents' divorce and her father leaving them might've greatly contributed towards her disdain of males. However, she doesn't know for sure if that really is the real reason, as he was never abusive to her or her mom. They simply had too many conflicting views which lead to a lot of arguments. Eventually they couldn't stand one another, so they divorced. Then when her mother remarried to her stepfather, she instantly felt jealous of both him and Mei. The reason being she didn't feel nearly as loved by her mother anymore. She eventually realized that wasn't true, but she cited this jealousy of her stepfather as potentially another reason she really disliked guys. As for her violence, she is truly unsure. The only things she can think of is her parents arguing and watching Motoko train. Despite the fact in the former case her parents rarely if ever got physically violent and in the latter Motoko's methods of attack were far different than hers.

With time and with the help of her family and her therapist, she slowly realized and understood everything that was wrong with her and everything that she misunderstood and exaggerated. Her extreme attacks on Keitaro and Anthony, her misunderstandings regarding the former, her betrayal of the tenants, her awful attitude towards Keitaro and men in general, and much more. Like Su, she realized just how awful she had become and that she truly had become a monster of sorts.

Those days were filled with much emotional pain, grieving, and an immense amount of guilt. She wished she could see all of them right now and profusely apologize for everything she had done. However, she had no choice to server out the rest of her sentence and community service hours. Thankfully, her family, Hina, and her therapist provided her with mental support to get her through this phase. The biggest supporter of them all was Mei, who had faith in her that she could change from the very beginning and managed to convince her parents to also give her another chance.

As the years went on, she would eventually get transferred to a place where she could interact with her inmates. This allowed her to get some much-needed social interaction outside her family and the others. Through interaction with her inmates and even making a few friends, she continued to heal emotionally.

Finally, 15 years after she was first sentenced to prison, she would get released back into the greater society. Once she was released, she promised that she would visit her friends from time to time, as they haven't finished their sentences yet.

Obviously having no money, there was no way she could afford a place to live. She couldn't even go back to the inn, since the tenants would likely not accept her back and she'd have to pay rent anyway. Luckily, her parents were more than willing to take her in until she could get back on her feet.

As of now, she has been free for a week. In that time, she has begun to make major plans for both the immediate and distant future ahead of her. Her plans include continuing her education at some point. Although she knows that she forever blacklisted from Tokyo U, there are many other excellent colleges throughout Japan that she can and is now willing to attend. She'd just need to study hard first, as she has lost a lot of the knowledge she learned from high school. She also plans to get part-time jobs so that she doesn't mooch off her family. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, she plans to apologize to every single person at the inn for her abhorrent behavior over the years. Most especially, Keitaro, who she honestly doesn't feel she is worthy to see anymore.

So, in order to apologize to everyone, she asked Mei to set up a get-together between all the tenants. To her relief and delight, everyone is willing to meet with her, at least one more time. She doesn't believe she is worthy of this, but she is very thankful nonetheless.

While Mei is going to someone's house to perform an errand, Naru mumbles to herself, "Whether they give me a second chance or yell at me and tell me to never see their face again, I'm just glad I got to apologize in person." She then smiles bitterly to herself.

-Maid High Academy-

"Move along Reiko, you still need to wash the windows. I'm getting sick of your bratty behavior." Hoshiko sternly says to her. She has been trying to discipline her for many years now so that she could maybe one day serve another master, but all attempts have failed thus far. She has become super lazy and unmotivated to do absolutely anything. She has become a lot snarkier too.

"What's the point?" She says melancholy while looking at her shoes, "What is the point of me being here anymore? Masako hates me. I just want to die."

"I'm not letting you die. You could do a lot for the world if you just decided to put in the effort."

"Yeah right. I'm just one little person in a pool of over 7 billion people. What exactly am I gonna do for the world?"

"Just…" Hoshiko clenches her fists but then breathes in and out to calm herself down. "I don't know. Just get moving. We don't have all day and I have more important work to do than babysitting such a giant whiner. Maybe if you got new friends and forgot about Masako you'd feel a lot better."

"I'd rather die than forget about her. I want to see her again. Please let me see her! I beg you!"

"No. Now MOVE!" She gives Reiko a light kick to keep her moving.

Reiko continues to groan and mope as she always does every day. Will she ever stop this behavior? Hoshiko has no idea at this point, but she doesn't feel hopeful.

-Magical Maid Café-

Anthony, Keitaro, and everyone else eventually arrive at the café and open the door. A little bell right above the door signals their entrance. As soon as they enter, all the maids currently attending to customers turn their heads to see who entered. Upon realizing who entered, all the maids, numbering seven, face Anthony and bow to him. They all say the same phrase:

"Welcome back master!"

This causes him to blush and rub the back of his head. No matter how many times he's greeted this way, he can't help but feel slightly embarrassed. "H-hey everyone. How's everyone doing?"

One of the maids walks up to him and says with a big smile, "We're doing great master! Business is doing great today and it appears that all your friends are here today too!"

"Oh really?" He looks around the café and eventually spots a large table filled with many familiar faces chatting amongst one another. A couple notice him and the others and they alert the others sitting at the table. A moment later they all start to wave at them with bright smiles. They do the same.

"You guys go on ahead and join them. I need to discuss with her something real quick." Anthony says to the people behind him. They all agree to do so.

"What's going on master? Do you need to discuss something with me in private? If so, we can go to the back." The maid says.

He shakes his head, "No. I just simply wanted to tell you and the others to close up shop early today. Continue serving the existing customers until they are finished, but don't bring anyone new in. We are expecting a special visitor today and things may get tense. I don't really need random strangers coming in and witnessing that."

She bows and replies, "It shall be done. May I ask who this special visitor is? Perhaps one of the maids or myself can go out and wait for her."

"It's Naru Narusegawa. She has pretty long brown hair."

The maid thinks for a moment, finding the name vaguely familiar, then she gasps, "Is she that girl who stayed at the mansion all those years ago and betrayed all of you?!"

"That's the one." He confirms.

"She nearly killed master once too." Faye scowls a bit.

"She did?! If that's the case, master, I must ask, why are you allowing her to come here?! Shouldn't we ban her from here?"

He replies, "Mei told me she has felt really guilty and remorseful about what she did back then, so I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt. If she starts acting up in any way, then I expect her to be swiftly thrown out and barred from ever entering this café again."

"Of course. You and your friends' safety are of utmost importance to us. Please leave everything to us!"

He smiles, "Thank you very much. Just have one of the maids go out, change the sign, and wait for her and Mei's arrival, since they are traveling together."

She bows again, "Yes, of course."

As he and Faye begin to walk towards their friends, he makes one final comment, "I'm looking forward to the food!"

She giggles, "We will use our best ingredients to make sure it is suitable to your taste!"

As soon as they arrive at the giant table and find seats for themselves, Su says, "Looks like ya made it! The maids are happy to see you as always."

"Because he is their master. Naturally they are happy to see him." Faye says.

The MorganSu company was not the only work-related thing he did. He also is the proud owner of Magical Maid Café, the place where all of his maids except for Faye and Masako work at. In total, Anthony has 12 maids, including Faye and Masako. As for why he has that many, it all started almost immediately after the attack on Hinata Inn.

In total, 37 maids worked for Souta. Eighteen participated in the battle, leaving 19 at home. Those 18 who participated, minus Reiko, as she was taken elsewhere, were arrested by the police. The other maids who remained at the mansion managed to escape arrest.

Due to how the contract for having a maid works, Souta was no longer the official master of any of them. While the maids were free to continue serving him if they wished, they were also able to search for a brand-new master to serve if they wanted, which was not possible when the contract was in effect.

Many maids did precisely that. Nine of them began to go out seeking for new masters to serve. Until they found a new one, they assisted with taking care of different chores around the mansion. Slowly but surely, they moved out. Of the remaining 10, they decided to stay mostly because they didn't want to bother with such a tedious task at the moment.

As maids needed to be assigned to Keitaro and the others so that they could retain their knowledge of magic, some of the maids of the remaining 10 were assigned to the various tenants. Keitaro, Mitsune, Kanako, Mutsumi, Tsuruko, and Nyamo were all assigned a maid, with the maids picking which person they wanted to serve. The remaining 4 had heard about Faye's battle with Masako and how the former got enraged when the latter tortured Anthony. Even among the maids, Faye's level of devotion towards him was unusually high. They figured that if she was that devoted to him, then he must be an excellent master. Or, at the very least, way better than Souta. Thus, they all asked him if they could be his maids. He was extremely shocked by their request and thought about denying them since he already had Faye. However, Faye encouraged him to take them on as his maids. In the end, he decided to accept them as his maids. They stayed at the mansion until the inn was rebuilt where they all moved into the inn and stayed in one room together. They were able to help out a lot around the inn and the tenants liked having them around. Later on they moved out of the inn alongside Anthony so that they could live with him at his new home.

Three years later, when the rest of the maids were released from prison, they went to Maid High Academy to meet Hoshiko, as she told them to do so. Once they arrived, they had a big meeting to decide what to do in the future. It was actually a rather short meeting as Hoshiko had already planned to tell them that they are free to go out and search for another master to serve. She knows they were just doing what Souta ordered them to do and didn't hold their actions against them. Masako was the only exception as she still needed to be punished by Faye. The only request asked of them was that seven stay behind, as Motoko, Su, Shinobu, Sarah, Haruka, Emi, and Sachiyo still needed to be assigned maids.

Seven quickly answered the call and after much discussion with their potential masters, they decided which of the girls they wanted to serve. Now, everyone was accounted for. As for the remaining maids, everyone but six decided to head out and look for a new master. The remaining six, one of which was Yui, had heard and/or seen just how devoted Faye was to Anthony, especially after her battle with Masako. Coming to the same conclusion as the four maids before them, they met with Anthony and asked him if they could be his maids. Yui especially wanted to become his maid, since she was partially responsible for his suffering in the first place and she had felt really guilty about it all this time. Again, with encouragement from Faye and his four maids, he accepted them.

His number of maids totaling 11, soon to be 12 with Masako, he knew his house was just too small to fit all of them. Plus, there were so many of them that housework was hard to come by. Thus, after spending a bit of time thinking, he came up with a genius solution, a maid café!

At this point in time maid café's while they existed, weren't hugely popular. Knowing how successful they would be down the line and having a lot of money from his company and participating in the stock market, he began his second business with the purpose of building and opening a maid café. Some months later the building was complete. Officially employing all his maids except for Faye and Masako, who both expressed their wish to continue staying by his side and personally serving him and, in the latter's case, his family as well, they opened for business. While business was slow going at first, it eventually began to pick up steam. Over the years it became more and more popular and as of today, it is one of the most well-known maid cafés in Hinata Town and even a bit beyond.

As they are officially employed, all of his maids who work here get paychecks. Additionally, Anthony built a home close by to the café for them to live in. Outside of instructing them what to do sometimes when he is at the café, he largely lets them do whatever they want. Whether that be taking on other jobs, going to school, getting married, or anything else. Some have taken up on his offer. Others have simply decided to mainly work at the café. Of course, he has offered these opportunities to Faye and Masako as well, but they flat out refused to do any of that.

As for the maids who took one of the others as their master, their fates vary. Keitaro, Mitsune, Motoko, Mutsumi, Emi, and Sachiyo basically dismissed theirs, as they felt extremely uncomfortable at the thought of having a servant who would do whatever they ask. Those maids decided to work at the café and lead their own lives while still being their maids on paper.

The rest decided to employ their maids in a variety of ways. Shinobu, and Haruka basically employed theirs at their own establishments. Kanako, Sarah, and Nyamo have theirs assist around the house. Finally, Su has hers do both.

"It's nice to see you all again." Shinobu states with a smile. "I know we get together once every couple months, but I wish we could get together more often."

"You're right about that!" Sarah grins. "I've missed you all a ton!"

"Big brother!" Kanako gets up and gives Keitaro a big hug. He becomes slightly embarrassed with how affectionate she is.

"Yes, it is definitely good to see everyone again in one place." Haruka bows to greet Anthony and the rest.

"It's great to see you all!" Mutsumi says

"Hi guys!" Nyamo bows to them.

Taking their seats, everyone begins to talk and chatter amongst themselves as the maids prepare and serve the food. Anthony tells everyone that since it is a special day today, everything is free and that they can eat to their heart's desire. Cheers erupt from this and he can't help but giggle at the free spiritedness of everyone.

Most of the chatter is catching up with each other about their own lives and if anything major has happened since they last got together.

Shinobu has since went on to high school and graduated successfully. Settling for a good college in another city, she studies rigorously to become a professional chef. Completing her degree, she goes on to work at various restaurants, where she quickly becomes popular for her excellent cooking. Hardly anyone can equal her in terms of quality food. Before she knew it restaurants, hotels, and even cooking shows were begging to employ her. After dealing with that chaos for a while, she eventually settled down and opened her own restaurant. It quickly became a massive success thanks to the popularity and quality of her food. It was during this time she met a man who greatly reminded her of Keitaro. Love eventually blossomed between the two. Three years after they met, they got married. They have been trying to have kids ever since, but so far she has not gotten pregnant even once.

Sarah thought about following in her papa's footsteps and get an archeology degree. However, she eventually got tired of constantly going around the world, never having a place to fully settle. Thus, with Seta's support, she settled down in Tokyo and began to study hard for college. Successfully entering Tokyo U, she studied to become a lawyer for a few years. Once she graduated, she fully entered into the world of law. She is quite good at her job and the tenants know that if they ever get into any legal trouble or are sued, then they count on her to save their skin. She has still yet to date or fall in love with anyone.

Kanako hasn't changed much. She finished high school but didn't go on to college. Being fully content with working as the treasurer for Hinata Inn, that has been her primary career for many years now. She moved to an apartment about 15 minutes away from the inn. She has no plans to marry, as she believes there is no one but Keitaro who she could fall in love with. Sometimes she assists with Haruka's teashop from time to time.

Speaking of Haruka, she hasn't changed much overall either. Growing older, she is now in her mid-40's. A wrinkle or two have started to form on her face and a few strands of gray hair are now forming. She continues to operate her teashop and lives a peaceful life. Seta tried for a few more years after the Hinata Inn incident to marry her, but she still vehemently refused. Finally getting the message, he stopped asking her out for good. Sometimes she helps watch Keitaro's or Anthony's children.

Mutsumi went to Tokyo U alongside Keitaro. Wanting to help other people who were as sickly as her, she decided to study to become a nurse. After successfully graduating, she went on to be hired by a local hospital. She quickly became well loved by her co-workers and patients alike as she did her job very well and was almost always positive no matter what she did.

Nyamo left and went back to Pararakelse Island a week after being at the mansion like she said she would. While she was there, she decided to take Japanese so that she could properly speak with her friends. It was during this time that she finally learned she had Shinobu's name wrong all along. Regularly sending letters to Keitaro and the others, she eventually returned to Japan a few years later. She tried to call Shinobu by her actual name, but she insisted on being called Shinomu, finding it rather cute and a sign of their deep friendship. Being a good cook, she asked Shinobu if she could work alongside her. To her delight, she agreed. To this day they continue to work together on a variety of different dishes.

An hour or so later, after everyone had long finished eating and the remaining customers had left, the star of the show finally arrives.

The bell dinging overhead, two individuals enter the café. "We're here." Mei says.

Haruka is the first to greet them. "Hello Mei and…is that actually you Naru?"

As everyone gets a good look at Naru, they notice two major things about her.

One, she has visibly aged quite a bit. Showing a few wrinkles, they assume prison life has been rough for her. Two, her smooth, brown hair is much shorter than the last time they saw her. Before it went all the way down to her waist. Now? Her hair didn't even go beyond her neck.

She looks at them nervously and doesn't say anything. A pat on the back and a smile of reassurance from Mei gives her enough confidence to say, "Y-yes…it's me."

"You've…really trimmed your hair." Keitaro comments.

This gets a chuckle out of her, lightening the mood ever so slightly. "Heh…yeah. I decided to cut my hair. Hopefully it doesn't look too bad."

"No, it looks good on you." Masako says.

Naru shows a very surprised expression upon seeing her. "Masako?! I-I didn't expect to see you here. After…you know…"

"It's a long story." She replies.

Awkward silence fills the room for a moment. Taking this as her cue, Naru prostrates herself on the floor.

Everyone gasps in shock at seeing this.

"Everyone…I…" She sniffles, "I'm so, so, so sorry!" She shouts. A number of gasps fill the room.

"I…I've done awful things to all of you. Horrible things. Unspeakable things. All because I was in my own self-delusional vengeance-filled bubble! Looking back now, I can't believe I did all of that. I know this apology isn't even remotely enough to pay back for everything I've done, but still, I'm SO sorry!" Tears begin to flow down her face as she remains in her prostrated position.

Silence fills the room for a few moments before Shinobu slowly asks, "…do you really mean that? You know just how much you attacked and abused Keitaro, don't you? If it wasn't for his invincibility, he would've died a hundred times over from your brutal attacks."

"Y-yes Shinobu. I'm very well aware of that, and I mean every last word of what I said."

"Stand back up Naru." Haruka says, noticing she is still prostrating herself. She does as asked.

"How can we trust you?" Sarah asks. "How can we know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, you are not lying? You may think we're being too cold to you right now after hearing that, but our trust in you was completely broken that week. That trial didn't help matters either."

"I completely understand. As proof that I am not deceiving any of you again, any one of you may order me to do whatever you wish. Have me dust this place from top to bottom, perform absolutely embarrassing songs and dances for you, or even dress in very skimpy clothing. I don't care. I'm even willing to have Keitaro or Anthony give me that order."

"Is that so brute?" Faye says, already beginning to form ideas in her head.

"Yes." She affirms. To this day she still calls me brute. She thinks sadly. I guess she still hates me.

"Then, with master's permission, I'd like for him to deliver at least 100 painful whaps to your bottom. He can do more if he wishes."

"U-understood…" She begins to get on her hands and knees.

She stops midway when Anthony shouts, "No! I'm not doing that! There's a better way to prove whether she is genuine or not."

"Oh, I apologize master. What is your idea on proving her authenticity?"

"I'd like for you, Masako, and Motoko to feel her Ki. That'd be quicker and safer."

"I can do that." Motoko says.

"As you wish master." Faye says.

"If that's what you want, then I'll do it." Masako says.

The three begin to channel their Ki towards her and begin their analysis. After a few seconds, they complete the analysis.

With a warm smile directed at Naru, Motoko says, "She is genuine."

"Concurred." Faye replies flatly.

"That's what I felt too." Masako says.

"So she is sorry?" Sana asks.

Anthony pats his head and smiles, "Yes, she is sorry."

Mitsune can't help but smile as well, I'm so glad she has finally come to her senses. I guess I don't have to say goodbye to her permanently after all.

Shinobu says, "I'm still hesitant on accepting you, even if you are genuine. This isn't an automatic fix you know."

"I-I know, and that is perfectly reasonable. I wasn't planning on sticking around but I at the very least wanted to let you all know how sorry I am. What I did to you all, and most especially Keitaro, was deplorable in every way possible."

Turning to Anthony, she says "And Anthony, I'm deeply sorry for nearly killing you that day. I don't know how you survived that day, but I'm very grateful you did. If I had killed you, then I…I don't know what I would do. I know now that it was all one giant accident and that Mitsune started the whole thing." She can't help but glare at her for a brief moment. "I also know you aren't a pervert like I mistakenly thought you were."

Mitsune notices the glare, "I-I was much different then! I was a fox who played tricks on the people around me for my own amusement. I have no excuse for taking down the sign."

"It's in the past now. What's done is done, so let's put it behind us and never speak of it again. But thank you for the apology Naru." Anthony says.

Nodding and smiling, she turns her head to Keitaro.

"And Keitaro, you…you deserve a personal apology from me most of all." Tears again begin to well up. "I'm very sorry for calling you an idiot, scumbag, loser, pervert, and everything in between. It was very unbecoming of me, especially considering I failed just like you and you never intentionally molested or took advantage of the girls or me. You also did more work than any of us, and I've realized just how difficult manual labor is. I'm sorry for blaming all of my own personal problems on you. And finally, I'm extremely sorry for…for punishing you all those times even though you were completely innocent!" She bows deeply before him.

"Thank…thank you Naru. I'm not exactly sure how I feel about all this at the moment, but maybe we can all get together again sometime once we sort out our feelings." Keitaro replies. Everyone else nods in unison.

"Yes, of course. Please take all the time you need. I'm grateful you're even considering meeting with me a second time."

Mei speaks up, "I'd just like to say to everyone, please consider giving her a second chance. I know she treated everyone horribly before, but as you can see, she has changed a lot since then. I won't try to persuade you guys to take our side or anything. I'm just giving everyone something to think about is all. Now then, we should probably take our leave. Let's go Naru."

"Alright." She replies to her. Then, turning to everyone and bowing, she says, "Thanks for listening to me. If any of you want to see me for some reason, I'll be staying with my parents for the time being."

With that, they exit the café.

A moment of silence passes by as everyone processes what just happened.

"So…what did everyone think of that?" Anthony asks.

"I still hate the brute, but I guess for the first time ever, she did something right." Faye says.

"She's much nicer now than when I first met her." Masako says.

"I'm really happy for her. I'm so glad she figured out her viewpoint of men was terribly flawed." Motoko says with a smile.

"She seems pretty nice. I wouldn't mind meeting her again." Mika says.

"Not as much of a meanie as I thought she'd be." Sana says.

Mitsune cries a few tears of joy, "I'm so happy for her…"

"She has definitely changed for the better I think. I'm curious to see how she'll grow from here." Su says.

"She did good by apologizing to us, Keitaro, and Anthony. Maybe one day I'll regain my respect for her." Shinobu says.

"Not bad. She's on the right track." Sarah says.

Haruka simply nods in approval.

"Not sure if she went through enough, but eh, I'll let her slide for today." Kanako says with indifference.

"I'm happy to see that she has changed. I'm not ready to be her friend or anything yet though." Mutsumi says.

"She seems better, but I still don't really like her too much yet." Nyamo says.

"I'm not sure what to think of her yet." Chikao says.

"She seems alright." Hikari says.

"Despite all the abuse I put up with from her, I am glad to see her acknowledge her wrongdoings. I never thought in a million years she'd actually apologize to me for what she did to me." Keitaro says.

"And you dear?" Motoko asks while looking at him expectantly.

"Well, I'm simply glad she realized what she has done is awful and is now taking steps to rectify her wrongdoing. We'll see what she does down the line."

"Yep!" Sarah grins. "Now, how about we all go to karaoke? I've been wanting to show you all just how much I've improved since last time!"

"You better be prepared, cause I've practiced too!" Su returns the grin. "Let's go everyone!"

With that, the large crowd of people get up from the table and head out the door. As they do, they all think of one thing. Life likely isn't going to get boring anytime soon.

The End

-Author's Corner-

A/N: Well, this is it. This is the end! I hope you all enjoyed the epilogue. I know I didn't include Kikuko, Emi, or Sachiyo, but there wasn't really an appropriate place to include them.

Thanks to everyone who followed, favorited, and reviewed this story. Each and every one of those means a lot to me. Thanks to everyone who decided to read this in the first place. Thanks to the Disquieting One for recommending this fanfic on TV Tropes and to Frequent Reader for creating a page on the same site.

I'm going to miss writing for Anthony, Faye, and the rest of the OC cast. Faye in particular was a joy to write, and I grew to like Masako quite a lot as I fleshed out her character.

I have another Love Hina story idea that I'm probably going to do, so hopefully you guys will stick around to check that one out too whenever I start it.

Dr. Exposition: While I summarized what happened in court, this is basically what happened, more or less.

The Disquieting One: I'm very glad you enjoyed it! Since Love Hina is so old at this point and no new official content has been created for it for ages, it has slowly lost its popularity that it once had. I agree that this series basically set the precedent for the vast majority of harems in the following decades. Thankfully, these days manga writers and anime writers and producers are realizing that the double standard isn't nearly as funny as it was back then and have since changed their content to reflect that. I don't think Naru is the "latest" tsundere type anymore, considering extremely violent tsunderes are rare these days, but for a long while she definitely was. Glad you enjoyed the combat. Sorry that there was no Naru/Mei battle. It just didn't really end up working out with how the story was going. I typically don't mind yandere characters. I even find them funny or interesting depending on the type of story told. However, yeah, they definitely aren't good in real life, as you mentioned. If the story is the same one as the one I found, then the guy actually survived the attempted murder thankfully. Regardless, it is still scary stuff. Naru changed as you said, but she didn't see Kikuko. As for Anthony, your ideas were so good I honestly just took basically all of them lol. Hopefully you don't mind that. Thanks for sticking through to the end!

cocabean93: Thanks! Unfortunately, Anthony is unable to leave, but he now has a loving family who he cares about just as much as his family back in the old world.

Under Of Flower: I'm very happy you loved the battle! I understand if you're still hesitant with Masako. She did do a lot of evil things and thus a simple apology is unlikely to be enough. Though she did stay in prison for a long while to think things over, and now she is Anthony's maid! Reiko is now an utter mess now that Masako is no longer with her. I had no idea Hotaru was one of your favorite characters, that's cool to know! Thank you so much for all the reviews you've left! They meant a lot to me.

woopydoopy: Glad you enjoyed it! And thanks for your vote.

Lifetime Guest: Thanks for reading it and I'm glad you enjoyed it! I do plan on writing more fanfic in the future. I have another Love Hina story idea I'd like to do soon. Naru did finally get her heel realization, though it took her a long time to come to her senses. It's not too late for her, but she will have to do a lot in order to regain everyone's trust.

iacopo passerini: Oh gosh, you're really describing a full on war zone! If this was medieval times, then the weapons you mentioned would've been appropriate. They're in the 21st century though and due to how far technology has advanced, they wouldn't be all that effective in the long run. They could maybe pull some clever tricks though. Cutting off Naru's tongue I feel is a bit too extreme, but she does get her just punishment while in prison. Thank you for reading until the end!

Frequent Reader: Yup, what Anthony said would happen did indeed happen. I initially thought of having her put up resistance for her arrest, but at that point she had already gone through two major realizations that were both terrible for her that she was having trouble processing it all. Reiko does have a sad fate in the end.
