Dark Desires Ch. 19
TIME JUMP (2 ½ MONTHS)
Walking around the property, couldn't help but enjoy the morning chirping of the birds. While it was technically winter, it was the first time ever she was just able to walk around outside without having to wear a jacket. Looking down as the snow crunched under her boots, Ruby could see the individual crystals that made the snow.
Slightly bending over, she carefully scooped some snow into her hands, smiling when it didn't melt in her hands. Enjoying how the sun made them sparkle in her hands, she was lucky, while she would have adjusted just fine to being a regular vampire, it was nice that she didn't have to give up the sun.
Plopping down, her mind wandering to everything that was happening around her, in 2 days she would be officially Ruby Frost, Lady of Vangr, Angela was moving into Alexander's compound today and sometime after the wedding she would start her transition, Quinn would be home tonight, Mercury and Raquel were finishing up the last of the wedding preparations, Sato and his youngest daughter were heading to their home by tonight, and finally Georgia, she was thriving, and taking to her duties as an assistant with gusto.
Everything was going well for her and her family, while she didn't want to kick a gift horse in the mouth, she always kept her ear and eyes on alert, complacency could get her or someone she loves killed.
Closing her eyes, Ruby let the now setting sun settle on her face, but before she could get lost in the moment, she heard Blade walking through the snow, his heavy footsteps crunching the snow. "For a vampire, you're not exactly quiet." She teased.
Chuckling at her, Blade took a second and sat down near her, "I'm not fully a vampire, half human too." He informed her.
Opening her eye, she looked at him, she knew his story, she was probably the only one that knew the truth outside of Whistler, and as much as she loved Deacon, she wouldn't share his histories, that was for him and only him to share.
Giving him a small smile, "Are you excited to meet Sato's daughter Mitsuki?" Knowing that out of all the Houses that he's met, it was the Kobejitsu Clan that he seemed to have bonded with more so than anyone else.
Looking over at her, he couldn't help being amazed at not only person she has grown into, but the vampire she was. Kind but lethal. "A bit." Knowing that he spoke to Sato several times since Frost was provided a House, the old man was wise, and even offered to spare him when he was back in the city. He was looking forward to that.
"Careful Blade, someone might take that for an emotion." She teased. That was one thing about him that took a moment to get used to, he could be excited, sad, mad or any other emotion, but you wouldn't know.
"Shut up." He said, lightly shoving her. Looking over the bay, he felt relaxed, "So, you sure you want to marry Frost? Still got time to run and hide." He teased.
Snorting, "Wait, that's still an option?" she joked. Shaking her head, "No, I think I'll marry him, kind of love him a lot." Unable to keep the stupid grin off her face. "I can still borrow Whistler?" she asked, knowing that it was a little unorthodox to have a human there, but over the last few months, he has become like a father towards her, and she considered Blade like a brother.
Rolling his eyes, "That old man has been smiling like an idiot since you asked him." Tilting his head, he could hear the man in question tinkering with his leg brace. Looking over at Ruby, he could see that she picked up his movements too.
Standing up, he extended his hand, "Your vampires will be up soon, and I do need to run a circuit, be back in a few hours."
Letting him pull her to her feet, they walked in silence back to the house. That was one thing that Blade liked about Ruby, she was able to give you what you needed, be it quiet, or love, her ability to bring you comfort without really trying was something that made her special. Hell, that was why they already had several unattached vampires pledging themselves to House Vangr.
Pushing her towards the kitchen, "Your guests will be arriving, go handle your Lady shit, see you later."
Ruby watched as Blade made his way towards the garage, knowing that he would always search for the vampires that were breaking the laws, "Be safe."
As the doors shut, she found Whistler and Georgia watching her, "Evening." Reaching into the fridge, she started to pull out a few blood bags, wanting to get them ready for everyone. But as she started to organize, it was Melanie that came up and started the process of getting everything setup. Shaking her head, she knew it was pointless to argue.
Whistler chuckled at her face as Melanie took over, pushing out the chair between him and Georgia, "Sit down, and drink."
Rolling her eyes, "So bossy." Taking a seat, she slowly drank her bag, which earned her a look from Melanie. "What?" she asked.
Melanie shook her head, "Miss, you know I can take care of this for you." Making sure that all the good crystal was out and ready for the House of Kobejitsu.
Slowly drinking, Ruby just nodded, "I know, and you do a fantastic job. I will remember that more often." Hoping that would stop that mom look she was getting.
Giving her Lady a curt nod, "Please do, Miss. If not, I don't have a job." Grabbing everything, she started to head out to the living area, knowing that was where the meeting would take place.
Georgia looked over at Ruby, "You know, she's right. You are supposed to be a Lady of the House, at least when you know that guests are coming. Appearances and shit." Taking a few bites of pasta.
Finishing up her bag, "Yeah yeah. I know." Standing up, Ruby tossing out her trash. "I guess I should get dressed," Looking over at Georgia, "You too." Her eyes falling to Whistler, "You stay just the way you are." Smirking at his face.
Standing up, he kissed her temple, "I adore that you don't expect me to change." With that he made his way outside, he sat on the porch, enjoying a cigarette.
Georgia chuckled, "I'll be out in 20, is that OK?" Not wanting to be late for her first meeting of a vampire House. Well first official meeting as a familiar.
Touching her shoulder, "That's fine." With that Ruby darted towards her bedroom, as she opened the door, she found Deacon starting to wake. Moving quickly to the bathroom, Ruby stripped down, and started the shower, she knew that Deacon would hear and come in.
Rubbing his eyes, the first thing that he did as he rolled himself out of bed was listen, trying to pinpoint where his love was, hearing the shower, he couldn't help but smirk. Standing up, he moved quickly, wanting to make sure that he was able to enjoy her body one time before he had to entertain Sato.
With her back to him, he stepped into the shower, his hand gripping the back of her neck, gently shoving her towards the wall. Chuckling as she gasped, "Don't move my love." His voice deep, filled with need.
Ruby turned her head slightly, "Please." She begged, wanting him, needing him.
Moving to where she was, Deacon used his legs to spread hers apart, carefully lifting her up, chuckling as the cold tile caused her to gasp. When she was at the right height for his dick, he slowly drove himself into her pussy, hissing at how it squeezed him. "Fuck. So perfect." He groaned into her ear.
Driving himself deep into her body, he didn't stop, his need to dominate her strong, "Tell me, my goddess, who do you belong to?" he growled out. Wanting to hear her say it out loud.
"Fuck." Unable to move, her body pinned to the wall, she knew what he needed, wanted. "You. I belong to you, Deacon Frost." Her hands spayed out against the tile, what she wouldn't give to have something to hold on to, to push back against him. "Please, make me cum." She begged, needing to feel the release that only he could provide her.
Gripping the back of her neck, Deacon leaned forward, sinking his fangs into her shoulder, enjoying how her blood slid down his throat, groaning as his cock plunged into her body. Feeling his balls tighten, he took a second to center himself, he wanted her to cum first. Lifting his mouth from her shoulder, enjoying how her blood was dripping down his chin. "CUM for me RUBY." He barked out, enjoying how her pussy started to shake around his cock.
Screaming out, Ruby could only feel him, "Oh God. Please." She begged. Closing her eyes, she could feel her body starting coil, feeling her fangs slide down into pace, "FUCK." Letting the orgasm roll through her body, Ruby dug her fingers into the wall, not caring that they would have to get it repaired.
Growling out as he came, "Feel every inch of me, my goddess." Slowly stroking himself within her body, wanting to keep his cum in her as long as possible, hoping that they would soon be welcoming their first child.
Letting his head fall forward, "I guess we should dress and meet our guests." Licking the side of her neck.
Groaning as his tongue licked the side of her neck, "If we must, but more of this later." Hoping that before they went to rest, she would get another orgasm.
Chuckling in her ear, carefully pulling his cock out of her, Deacon shut the water off and moved them quickly to her closet. Setting her down, "Get dressed my love."
Looking over her shoulder, enjoying how his ass moved as he walked away. Shaking her head, Ruby turned her attention to her wardrobe, while she didn't want to put on a formal dress, but she knew that she needed to make herself presentable to House Kobejitsu.
Grabbing a pair of dark wash jeans, and a dark navy blue silk blouse. Reaching into her jewelry box, putting on her Vangr necklace, and the matching earrings that Deacon gave her for Christmas. Moving to her vanity, Ruby quickly brushed her hair, she put some product in to make sure her hair was smooth. Glancing at herself, she loved the fact that she didn't need any lipstick or foundation anymore, but a little eyeshadow wasn't going to hurt.
Finishing up, Ruby stood up and grabbed a pair of black heels, giving herself a once over, she made her way out to their bedroom, her eyes landing on his. Enjoying how he was dressed, black slacks and a navy-blue silk shirt, licking her lips, enjoying how he left the top few buttons undone.
Deacon could feel her eyes on him, opening his arms, enjoying how she melted into his arms, "My love." Leaning into her neck, licking the shell of her ear, "When I get you alone, you will spend hours on my cock, milking out every drop of cum out of my balls."
Ruby couldn't help but shiver at the thought, "Sounds tempting." Closing her eyes as she felt his fingers trace the curve of her breasts. Before she could let herself be swept away with the feeling, she heard the knocking of their front door. Letting out a frustrated sigh, smirking at his face.
Resisting the urge to hiss, Deacon grabbed her hand and pulled her towards his chest, "Let's go." Gently pulling her out of the room, chuckling when he smelled her arousal. "Soon." He whispered into her ear.
Ruby stood at the bottom of the stairs, her eyes watching as Deacon shook Sato's hand, smiling at the man, he was around the same height as Deacon, but his eyes showed his age, a deep chocolate. Turning her attention to his youngest daughter, she was petite, about 5'2, her dark hair down just above her hips, but it was her eyes that captivated her, they were a honey-colored brown.
Extending her hand, "It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Ruby, Lady of House Vangr."
Mitsuki couldn't help but smile, her father was correct, Ruby was kind, and friendly. "Pleasure is my, Ruby of Vangr, I am Mitsuki Kobejitsu. Thank you for allowing us into your home." Her eyes taking in every detail of the home, it wasn't as stuffy as the other Houses that she's been to, this one actually felt like a home.
Ruby could see that she was looking around her home, "Please sit." Indicating to the couch, as they sat down, she saw Rachel coming into the living room with glasses filled with blood. Taking one, "Thank you Rachel."
Mitsuki took a glass, her eyes tracking the woman, seeing her approach her father, but it was how Ruby spoke to her, outside of her home, she never seen another House treat their workers so kindly. It was something her father insisted on, kindness doesn't mean weakness. "You are kind to your workers, other than my home, it's not common."
Ruby gave her a small smile, "Most of us are not born into this life," taking a sip of her blood, "I think those like me forget that they were once human. I try to keep myself reminded of such things." As she went to ask a question, she could hear Georgia opening her door, turning her eyes to the young women, smiling at her outfit.
It was a dark navy dress that stopped just above her knee, her hair in a simple braid, but it was the ballet flats that made her smile, Georgia didn't like heels, and wouldn't wear them unless it was necessary.
Extending her hand, "Mitsuki, this is my familiar and friend, Georgia. Georgia, this Lady MItsuki Kobejitsu, youngest daughter of Lord Sato Kobejitsu."
Georgia looked at the young women, by appearance they looked to be roughly the same age, but she was probably much older. Giving a slight nod, "It is a pleasure to meet you, Lady Mitsuki."
Mitsuki could see that she was tiny, "And I you, Georgia." Her eyes taking her in, "It is my understanding that Lady Ruby has taken to training you." Curious about the whole thing, while her clan was never rude to those that were not pure or bitten, it was very uncommon for familiars to receive training.
Sitting next to Ruby, Georgia was a bit nervous, she trusted her House, but she wasn't going to be rude or do anything to offend the Kobejitsu. Clearing her throat, she watched as Deacon took his place in his chair and Lord Sato took his spot nearest his daughter, all eyes on her. "Lady Vangr once told me, that regardless of if I am her familiar, or perhaps one day a vampire, she wanted me to be able to protect myself." Giving Ruby a smile, she continued with her story, figuring it was best to get that out of the way.
Mitsuki couldn't help but hiss at the thought of her father doing such a thing. Her eyes falling to the young woman, "You have a strong heart, and a fighter's spirit."
Sato looked at the young women, "My daughter is correct." His eyes falling on the rest of the Vangr House, the four of them showing great loyalty to the other, it was rare in Houses to see such displays of affection for another. It was refreshing.
Georgia stayed for a while, but the stress of the day and her training, she politely excused herself and headed off to bed. As she got herself into bed, she couldn't help but feel like a real member of the family. Closing her eyes, she knew in that moment, she wanted to be in this family forever, and when the opportunity arose for her to earn her place, she wouldn't hesitate.
Hours passed, conversation was flowing, but soon Ruby could smell him before she saw him, smiling, Ruby stood up as he entered the house, "Quinn." Opening her arms to the man, "I have missed you, my friend."
Wrapping his arms around her, "Missed you to Boss." He teased. Giving her a light squeeze, he stepped back, looking over at Deacon, extending his hand, "Boss."
Standing, Deacon took his hand, "Good to see you. Ruby missed her friend." He teased. While he would never be overly emotional, he did miss Quinn, much to his surprise.
After getting hugs from Raquel and Mercury, he was properly introduced to Kobejitsu, taking some blood, he sat down and enjoyed the conversation, but he swore he could smell lilacs and it was making his mouth water.
After another hour, a light knock pulled them from the conversation, smelling Blade, Ruby turned to Mercury, "Would you let Whistler know that his son is here." Moving to stand, she walked to the door only to find Melanie standing there, waiting for her to open it, she was greeted by a delicious sight, he was wearing black slacks, and a deep maroon colored silk shirt.
With a hand on her hips, "So you do own clothes that aren't just tactical? I would never have guessed." She teased him.
Rolling his eyes as he stepped through the front door, "You are a pain in my ass." Chuckling at her pretend offended face.
Linking her arms through his, "You sir, are full of it. I'm the best changeling you could have asked for."
"If you say so." As he entered the living room, his nose picked up the sweetest smell of cherry blossoms, his eyes found honey-colored ones staring back at him. For a moment he couldn't breathe.
Ruby looked up at her sire, seeing him frozen, taking a second to follow his line of sight, he was staring at Mitsuki. Gasping, she stepped away, seeing that the young woman was somewhere between staring at him, and giving Ruby a death glare.
Sato watched as his daughter stared at the Daywalker and growled at Ruby, "Mitsuki, you're being rude." He chided. Not understanding why she was behaving so.
Taking a few steps towards him, Ruby leaned over, "She's not. They are mates." Resisting the urge to chuckle at his face. "She didn't like me touching him." Well, shit, this wasn't expected, first Angela and Alexander, now Blade and Mitsuki.
Sato looked down at her then back to his daughter, "What happens next." Curious about the whole thing.
Shrugging, "We let them talk and figure this out." She offered. Looking up, she found Whistler with the stupidest grin on his face, but it was one that she understood, he wasn't going to be around forever, and while Ruby could look out for him, and keep him from being alone, this was better, he'd have someone just for him for as long as they both breathed.
Moving towards Mitsuki, "It's OK, he's yours, go to him, touch his hand, I promise you'll feel better." Ruby said, gently taking her hand, leading her over to her sire, "Mitsuki, this is my sire, and brother, Blade." Her eyes looking up at her brother, "It's OK, she's real, touch her hand." She offered, wanting them to feel the electricity that would flow through them.
Blade gently moved his hand towards her, it was like slow motion for him, but once his big handheld her little one, his body hummed with excitement and contentment. His eyes never leaving hers, "Ruby, what do I do?" Unsure of what happens next.
Stepping back, letting them naturally gravitate towards the other, she wasn't sure, in her experience it was a human to a vampire, so what happens when it's vampire and vampire, she honestly didn't know. "Why don't you take her for a walk around the property, talk." She offered, her eyes looking over at Sato, "Is that OK?"
Blinking, he knew that this was a rarity, "Go my daughter." His undead heart almost beating, she was his youngest child, his only daughter, and she was lucky enough to have found a mate, and one with honor.
Mitsuki just nodded, her eyes never leaving his, "I'd like that. Thank you."
Carefully tugging her, Blade made his way to the dock, Ruby seemed to like it, perhaps she would too.
Whistler carefully made his way towards Ruby, "Well, shit kid, that wasn't expected." His eyes finding Sato looking at him, "Abraham Whistler, I've looked out for Blade since he was a child, so I guess that's my son."
Sato took his hand, "Sato Kobejitsu." His eyes turning to the sound of the front door shutting, "Your son will treat my daughter with respect, yes?" he asked, worried now that she was walking the property with a vampire she didn't really know.
Whistler could understand his fear, once upon a time, before his family was killed, he'd have the same questions for his daughter's boyfriends, "Yes. If anything, Ruby would beat his face in." His eyes turning towards her, chuckling at her face, "You know it's true."
Holding Deacon's hand, she leaned into his body, taking in the room as she sat back down in his lap. Everyone seemed to be in a deep state of shock, but if she was being honest, she was too. Shaking off her own surprise, she looked up at Whistler, "You know I would." Her eyes turning towards Sato, "He is a very honorable man, Whistler raise him right, and he can't hurt her, something about mating prevents mates from harming the other."
Sato sat down, next to the human father of the Daywalker, taking the last drink of his blood, his eyes looked over at Deacon, "It seems as though our houses are going to be joined."
Deacon smirked, while he was hoping for a true alliance with the Kobejitsu, this was definitely one way to get it. "It would seem so." Rubbing his face, "How will the rest of your House handle this news?" She was a pureblood now mated to the Daywalker, it could potentially cause issues within his House.
Looking at the father, then Frost, "Anyone that so much as threatens my daughter's happiness will lose their heads." While he always wanted to seem fair, for the most part he was, until this Ruby entered their world, mating almost never happened, and now in a short amount of time, Alexander, now Mitsuki, it was to be protected at all costs, even from those he loved dearly.
Ruby couldn't help but smile at that statement, "I stand with you on that, my sire deserves all the happiness this long life will offer him." She loved him, he saved her life, he was her brother, and she would defend him until she had nothing left to give.
The room picked up again, conversations about Quinn's travels and the people he met, Sato about his life in ancient Japan, Whistler about raising a vampire child, it was something that was solidifying the bonds between the houses, and it would send a ripple effect into the community, making them stronger as a people.
Sitting on the dock, Mitsuki looked over at the Daywalker, her undead heart confused by the pulling it was feeling, "Please tell me, Blade, you feel this too." Hoping that she wasn't just losing her mind.
Moving some of her black hair out of her face, "Eric." Giving her a small smile, now only 3 people in this world knew his name. "And yes, I am."
Smiling at him, "Eric. That is a good name." Moving her hands to his, enjoying the small current that was passing through them, "Ruby was not a lover, right?" Unsure of why she needed to know.
Shaking his head, "No, never. Frost is her mate, as I am yours. She is my friend, my sister, and my only changeling." He was scared, for the first time in his life, not wanting her to think that Ruby was a threat to whatever was happening between them.
Feeling relief wash over her, "Can you explain to me how she became your changeling?" Now that the woman was a threat, she wanted to know how she became important to her mate.
Gently squeezing her hand, Blade explained the whole story, how he kidnapped her, to how she was changed. "I knew I couldn't let her die, for several reasons, mostly because she was a great person, and two Frost would have set the world on fire in his rage." Enjoying how her eyes sparkled as she spoke.
She listened as he detailed his whole life for her, saddened that he lost his mother before he ever got to know her, but in a sick way she was grateful, it brought her to her mate. As he finished, she laid her head on his shoulder, "I'm sorry that was how you were brought into this world." A pondering thought, "Have you ever found the vampire that bit her?" If not, if he wanted, she would help him look for his mother's killer.
Nodding, "Yes. It was Frost." Feeling her stiffen at that revelation.
Mitsuki sat up, "How is he alive?" She asked, not sure if she would be able to have such control.
"Ruby." Letting out a sigh, "I knew for years, prior to meeting her, but as they grew as a couple, her presence changed him." Unable to resist, he touched her cheek, "While he still is violent, and would kill someone in a blink of an eye, he's reserved, only doing it as needed, he's not the same man he was 30 years ago, nor a year ago. So, unless he gives me a reason, I will let Ruby have her mate."
Leaning into his hand, "If he ever betrays you again, I will kill him for you." It was her job as his mate to protect him and stand by him.
Smirking at her, "That's good to know." As he stared into her eyes, he finally understood why Ruby was always touching Deacon, it felt nice, warm, and it gave him a sense of complete that he's never had before. "Tell me about your life, please." Wanting to know everything about her.
Kissing his wrist, "I was born about 400 years ago, so I guess that would put me near 21 if I was a human." Closing her eyes, taking a second to think about her life, "I was born during a time of peace. Great poems were written, I remember running through the city as a child, enjoying jumping on the roofs, much to my father's displeasure."
"I have 3 older brothers, they would be roughly 35, 33, and 30 in human years. My father spent a lot of time training them, as he did with the rest of our clan, I annoyed him until he finally broke down and started to teach me. I still have a lot to learn, but I enjoy it. I am the only girl born into the Kobejitsu Clan for close to 1000 years, so after this trip, my father would have started the process of finding an arrangement for me to marry."
Blade resisted the urge to hiss at the thought, but that was the way of the Houses, shuffle the kids around to keep the family lines clean, and produce more purebloods. "And now, do you think that he will honor this?" Hoping that he would, but if not, Blade was more than ready to fight for her, she was his.
Mitsuki couldn't help but smile, seeing the determination in his eyes, "My father will, he always spoke of mates when I was a child, saying that if any of us were ever lucky to meet them, it didn't matter who or what they were, he would protect our rights to be with them."
Pulling her close to his body, "Good." Enjoying that she wrapped her arms around him, but as they sat on the dock, he knew that the sun would be coming up, "Let's get you back inside before the sun rises." Offering her his elbow, smiling like an idiot as she took it.
Moving across the property, Mitsuki was pleased, he was strong, feared, smart, and most importantly handsome. She couldn't have picked a better mate for herself if she tried to, and what made this more amazing to her, was that she would be able to stay here with him, not that she didn't love her family, she was ready to start her own life, and with him, she would be able to.
Ruby watched as Blade walked her to her room, smiling like an idiot. Feeling Deacon come up behind her as she watched him from the balcony, she leaned back into his chest, "I'm happy for him."
Deacon could understand, she was his changeling, she would always feel something for her sire, but for him, there was a peace in Blade finding his other half, knowing that he was the reason why Blade was the way he was, "Me too, my goddess."
Quickly lifting her into his arms, "It's time to rest, we have a long day tomorrow." Thinking about the last bit of the arrangements that needed to be handled before they were able to marry at the Great Hall.
Leaning into his chest, "Fine, but an orgasm before bed, right?" she teased, blinking her eyes up at him.
Growling, "Try and stop me, my goddess."
