Days Later
The newlyweds were officially back in town now. They had spent the last few hours finishing the the unpacking from their honeymoon.
Lucas was basically all moved in at this point.
Brooke was back at the store now. The couple were basically having to force themselves to be apart.
They were happy. Blissful even.

Clothes Over Bros
Karen smiled warmly as her and Brooke pulled apart from their hug.
"You and my boy are married. Which makes you my daughter."
"I know you aren't close with you're parents."
"But as far as you and I go. You're family."
"I want you to know i'm here for you as a mom figure whenever you need it." Karen proclaimed.
"Thank you Karen. As if having Lucas as my husband wasn't enough."
"Now i have you and I'm very lucky. To finally be apart of a real family." Brooke replied.
...
"I'll cut to the chase. Brooke and I are married now."
"Which means she comes first."
"I don't care what either of you think of me. But the two of you are Brooke's parents and i know she misses having the both of you in her life. So either stay out of it fully or resurface in the right way."
"You come after Brooke. You come after me. And at this point."
"I won't hold back." Lucas proclaimed.

Awhile Later
Going through their wedding gifts. Lucas placed the air fryer in the kitchen.
While Brooke hung their wedding pictures in the living room.
Along with photos from the reception.
Brooke smiled feeling Lucas's gaze on her.
"I like looking at you. I like you." Lucas said.
"I like you too. Everything about you." Brooke replied.
"You're my safe place." Lucas stated matter of fact.
The two had dinner by candle light in the kitchen.
And dessert by their fireplace. Chocolate covered strawberries.
"Let's have a baby. I have more money then i will ever need."
"You're career as a writer is stable. And growing more successful."
"What do you think.?" Brooke asked.
Lucas thought it over and kissed her gently.
"Let's start trying tonight." Lucas replied.
