Chapter 6: Entrance Exam

"Well, here we are," Izuku said, "U.A."

"Yep," Ochako said with a smile, "You're gonna crush it."

"Thanks," Izuku said.

"But just in case," Ochako said.

She stood on her tip toes and kissed his cheek.

"For luck."

Izuku only stood there with a red face.

"Hey love birds!" Izumi said, "Are we gonna gawk at the building all day or are we gonna do this exam!"

Izumi started walking forward but tripped. She awaited the impact but it never came. She looked and saw someone caught her fall. She saw a beautiful blonde haired girl who also had glasses.

"Well, you seem pretty eager to get in there," she said.

Izumi only stood there with a red face as the girl helped her up.

"Um... I... I'm Izumi Yagi," Izumi said.

"Hey Izumi Yagi," the girl said, "You here for the entrance exam?"

"I... um... well..."

Izuku kept himself from laughing at his adoptive sister.

"What's so funny?" Ochako whispered.

"You don't know?" Izuku asked.

Ochako looked back to Izumi and suddenly she got it.

"Ohhhhh! Now I see!" She said as she started snickering.

"Anyway... my name is Melissa Shield," the girl known as Melissa said introducing herself.

"Izumi, but... uh... you already knew that," Izumi said.

"Yeah. I did. By the way, we should head inside." Melissa said. She then looked over to Izuku and took notice towards the rings Izuku was wearing.

"I feel like I've seen those rings before," she said

"Wait, what?" Izuku asked.

"Yeah. But I'll explain later. We should really head inside." Melissa noted.

"Yep," Izuku said.

Later on the members were inside. The written portion of the exam went well, but now it was time for the meat of the exam. The Physical portion! There was an explanation given b none other than Present Mic

Izuku started to mutter because of how cool Present Mic looked in the flesh. Ochako patted his head to calm him down. He then looked at the pamphlet.

"Wait a second..." Izuku said.

He then stood up and raised his hand.

"You say there's 3 types of robots, however the pamphlet states that there are 4," Izuku stated, "I'm assuming that one must be some kind of bonus or secret robot or something?"

"You there, with the curly hair!" shouted someone with blue hair, "An excellent observation! Should you make it into U.A, I hope you have a great future!"

"Uhh thanks," Izuku told him.

Later on, everyone boarded busses and headed to various areas in the city. Izuku and Ochako were in the same location, along with Melissa. Izuku did a few stretches. He then got himself prepared. He then thought about his first day of training with the quirk.

Flashback

Izuku and All Might were at Degobah beach training for the entrance exam. Now that Izuku had One For All, he was gonna train with it.

"Alright Izuku, let's see what you can do!" All Might said, with the trademark smile on his face.

"I understand now Dad," Izuku said.

"What do you mean?"

"Well, you know how you can buff up into your muscle form?"

"I do."

"Well, your normal form is your weak form, and when you buff up, its like your quirk is flowing within you. You don't normally focus all the power into one body part. So I should do the same."

Izuku then focused One For All around him. His skin was glowing a bit, and green sparks of electricity danced throughout his body. Red veins appeared around his body and then disappeared.

"Like this," Izuku said with a smile, "Since I can channel energy from the rings from my quirk, I thought I could do the same with One For All."

All Might was astonished by how quickly Izuku grasped the power of the quirk.

"You're so cool Izuku," All Might told him, "You'll be a greater hero than I ever was. So what will you call this power?"

Izuku thought for a moment.

"Full Cowling."

"GO!" PResent Mic said.

Izuku channeled 10% of OFA into his entire body. He then dashed forward looking for robots to fight. He sw one robot coming at him. Izuku then pushed one of the rings at the robot destroying it, earning him 3 points.

More robots came and Izuku decided to use OFA. While using OFA, he was stronger than the average human being. He punched a robot hard, knocking it down. Izuku was moving quick enough that he looked like he was destroying two robots at a time. The judges were watching this performance and were amazed at what he was doing.

"This kid! He's gotten use to the power of the 10 rings, and his other quirk. It's quite incredible I must say!" Principal Nezu said

"He uses a lot of rational techniques to protect others and himself," Aizawa said with a smirk.

Toshinori had a proud smirk spread across his face watching his successor man handle the competition like nothing.

Back at the exam location, Ochako was making a few robots weightless by touching them. She then put her hands together making them all fall. She saw Melissa surrounded by robots.

"Ok so there's 10 of you, and one of me," Melissa said, "What's a poor girl to do?"

She had photon in her hand and slammed it on the ground. This caused all the robots around her to be destroyed. Izumi looked at this and was amazed.

"Whoa…" she said.

She felt rumbling beneath her feet. There was a giant robot coming this way. It was the 0PTR. Many of the contestants started running from the danger. Izuku saw Ochako running and decided to help. Putting some of the rings together, he created a whip and grabbed Ochako, pulling her away.

"You alright?" he asked.

"I am now!" Ochako said, "Thanks sweetie."

Izumi started to fly away from the 0PTR and join her friends, getting to safety. Melissa then flew up to the robot, then started dashing around it. While she was doing so, she was destroying parts and pieces of it, blowing them to smithereens. She then went to the top of the robot, and gently tapped it with her foot.

"Timber."

She made it fall down to the ground, effectively destroying it. She then floated down to the ground to a crowd of amazed people. Izumi stood there with her jaw wide open.

"Are you an angel?" Izumi asked without thinking

Izuku caught on to this and nearly lost his shit.

"I CAN HEAR YOU, IZUKU!" Izumi shouted.

"Uhhhh... the exam... is over," Present Mic said as he shat his pants

Ochako jumped onto Izuku and the two fell down on the ground. Ochako then prepped her amazing boyfriend with kisses

"You were amazing Deku!" Ochako said

"You were amazing too, Ochako!" Izuku said as he was still being prepped with kisses.

Izumi saw this and started laughing.
