The warmth of the sun's rays and chill of a cool breeze felt so good against Rina's skin. Who knew a homebody like her would have missed being outside so much? Well, not like anyone had predicted she'd have been stuck on a spaceship for almost a week. Freedom never felt so good. Well…semi freedom.
While it was agreed that no one would go alone, she just wasn't up for shopping. Which was why it was agreed upon that Ashley and Cassie would have their fun while the group's third girl relaxed at the park. Cassie had voiced concerns about what if she needed to contact them, since the Psychos still targeted the sound of their communicators, but Rina had been prepared. She'd made a point to get herself a copernicus 2000 to keep on her just in case. That had been enough to set the argument aside for the time being.
At the same time, though, the Psycho Rangers decided it was time for another round against their enemy. But to have their fun, they needed to coax the rangers out and into the open. And what better way to do that than by causing chaos at a park full of people?
Laughing, Red threw a picnic table through the air, nearly hitting a fleeing mother with her child.
"Losing your touch. You missed an easy target," Blue taunted.
Red chuckled. "Guess I don't know my own strength."
Unbeknownst to the psychos, the table had been given a slight push to make it miss the fleeing civilians. Zhane couldn't help but smirk a little to himself, glad to have gotten back more control over himself. /All that practice is finally paying off,/ He thought to himself.
Out the corner of his eye, he caught the sight of a familiar figure duck behind a tree. It didn't look as if the Psychos had noticed her, yet, but he knew it would only be a matter of time before they did.
"Ha! There's one!" Yellow announced, her gaze shooting towards the same tree Zhane had been looking at.
Rina had just alerted her friends of the Psychos in the park when she was grabbed by the collar of her shirt and thrown to the ground. Ignoring the pain from the impact, she pushed herself to her feet and took a defensive stance.
"You're not the yellow ranger." Yellow made to grab the girl again, but she managed to move just beyond her grip.
The girl had already been moving to avoid being grabbed when she felt a force push against her chest, making her stumble back a few steps. /That was…/ Her eyes flit over towards the false Psycho and then back towards the evil yellow ranger.
Black came up behind their current target, roughly grabbing and twisting one of her arms behind her back. A mocking laugh sounded from him as she let out a sharp cry of pain.
/You bastard! Let her go!/ Zhane mentally yelled, his hands trembling as they nearly formed a pair of fists.
"Let her go!" Andros's voice called, making the Psychos turn to face him and the other morphed rangers.
"It's about time, Red Ranger."
Still in Black's grip, Rina decided to take advantage of her captor's distraction and pushed backwards to try and knock him off balance. It only served to piss him off, though.
"Stupid bitch!" Black sharply spun her to face him, calling forth his weapon and raising it as if to strike.
"Don't waste your energy." Blue took the girl from him and shoved her into Zhane's arms. "Make yourself useful and take care of that," He ordered.
