Chapter 11: Helluva Taboo

Bill was going over some over due paper work for souls awaiting judgement and was also flirting with a soul of a changeling when he got a call from his secretary.
"Bill. Legoshi is here to see you."
Bill panicked for a moment before remembering Legoshi's personality. He sent the changeling to the train to heaven, but not without flirting one more time, before letting Legoshi in. The first thing that Bill noticed was Legoshi's new attire.
"It's been some time Legoshi! you never call or write, I almost had hope that you finally got you d#$% wet. HAHAHA! so anyways, what is with the new outfit?" Bill greeted.
"I almost forgot who I was going to be talking to." Legoshi thought to himself with a sigh.
"I guess you could say I got promoted."
"A promotion above God of Destruction?! what the hell is above that?!"
"I am a Angel now. I am basically going to be a mentor and attendant to a destroyer when another angel is removed or a new universe is created."
"Sooo.. basically a personal manager position."
"*shrugs*pretty much."
"Congrats! I guess you will have more time off, but what did you need to see me for?"
"I need some suggestions or directions. I am looking for a replacement for my former occupation and need someone who knows where large populations in the universe are located."
"Hmmm... let me take a look * turns around and looks under his desks*. I don't suppose you could consider me for..."
"no." Legoshi immediately answered before Bill could finish.
"Ahh... Why not?!" Bill asks in feigned emotional pain.
"Come on Bill...You know why... You of all people should know why."
"...Ouch... Ok. didn't think you thought that little of me." Bill said with fake tears but soon laughed it off.
Bill started to pull out the first book of each planet that had a decent population on it. Bill skipped over pacifist planets and set the rest on the front desk and opened them up. Bill skimmed over them and gave a short description and location of each planet shown in the books that he turned towards Legoshi to look at. During one of these searches, Bill pulled up a world that put a evil grin on his face as he suddenly had a idea to f#$% with someone.
"I actually recommend this world to start with." Bill stated as he pulled out a red book.

Legoshi noticed that bill chuckled a bit at the title before turning the book around towards Legoshi.
"While this place does not have what you would call..."nice" people in it, it does have a lot of people who are more than willing to kill for a job, especially if that means freedom from their predicaments."
Legoshi felt like Bill was pushing this on him for his own benefit, but decided to not pry into it since this place was as good as anywhere else.
"Thank you for the suggestion. Anything I should know about this world?"
"Always have protection on you... o wait nvm, don't need to tell you that... Just don't be afraid to really...step on some feet while you are there. Most of the authority there is a bunch of stubborn, selfish d#$ who won't cooperate with you unless they are forced, intimidated, or bought off."
"Bought off? I assume you mean a form of currency. Can you show or give me a description of their currency. I might be able to use this to persuade potentials and cut some time off."
"Good thinking. Here." Bill said while handing Legoshi a single paper bill that is used as currency in that world.
"Thanks. is there any other worlds you would recommend?"
"hmm... yeah I can at least think of one more off the top of my head." Bill says as he pulls out another book.
"This world is... in all honesty a sh#$ show... well maybe not that bad. Think of it as our home world a couple of years before we were drafted."
"Okay... why would you recommend this world?"
"Because the planet is constantly being tested and tempered... at least that is the impression i got from the souls that came from that world."
"I will check that out then. Thanks Bill!" Legoshi thanks before turning around to leave.
"Aren't you going to check any more worlds?"
"I'll come back later for them."
Bill scratches his head before shrugging.
"can you at least put in a good word about me to the other deities?"
"Sure. Bye."
Legoshi waved the back of his hand bye to Bill before flying off in a pillar of rainbow colors.
5 minutes later:
Legoshi stopped and floated above a planet that was volcanic in nature. He summoned his staff and did his usually studying through the ball.
"Seems like a world separated into 7 parts with souls only going to the first layer and the natural born being everywhere else. It's ruled by 6 lords and 1 king. This world is only populated by demons of varies kinds. hmm... at least it is different, but all I sense is negative ki... except." Legoshi trailed off as he pined different locations in the world where he felt positive Ki signatures.
Legoshi decides to investigate the brightest source first as he descended down to the first level of the planet and concealed his presence.
This level of the world looked to be a overcrowded city with a pentagram in the sky. While Legoshi had seen far worse atrocities as destroyer, he still felt uncomfortable seeing the blatant disrespect, apathy, and general disregard of life and of one's self around the city as it seems the words self-control and decency don't exist here. Legoshi took a deep breath to try and ignore the negative atmosphere, but began coughing when he inhaled smoke from nearby cigarettes being puffed on by demons nearby. using some simple ki manipulations, Legoshi caused all the cigarettes in a 10 mile radius to explode with non-lethal force.
"they can do that when I'm gone." Legoshi reassured himself as he let go of the scowl that had crept onto his face.
Legoshi made his way to the brightest signature and soon noticed that it was coming from a multi story building with neon lights on the top floor. The sign read "Happy Hotel".
"Hopefully it is. This world has been a bit depressing so far." Legoshi thought to himself as he walked in.
The building inside was dusty and a little run down looking, though it looked like it was to look high class. Legoshi saw a feminine male demon, wearing pink, walk past him and out the door. He also saw a grey skinned demon woman, with white hair, standing in front of a counter and writing things down. Legoshi walked up the steps and began to hear singing in a melancholy tone of voice. Once Legoshi was in the same room as the singer, they stopped and turned towards the door. It was another woman demon, with blonde and bleach white skin wearing what looked like a carney's outfit.
Legoshi was a bit taken aback by the absence of any negative ki in this woman.
"So a pure heart can be found, even in a hell." Legoshi mused to himself.
Legoshi summoned his data pad and began to take notes as he studied this woman. Legoshi felt a little uneasy doing this, but reassured himself that this was for efficiency sake, he would not intrude on anything "private", and would reveal himself if she was a candidate. This is what the final notes on her read:
Charlie:
Check: Able to show mercy?: While she is capable of having grudges or violent outbursts, she seems unable to hold them and seems to forgive those who transgress against her... like a fight with a tv reporter that disrespected her. example also shows she has no real fighting techniques.
Check: Respects life?: She values every soul in hell and will stand her ground on her beliefs that every soul is deserving of redemption.
X: Able to take life?: While she most likely has the ability to kill, is unwilling to kill even if others threaten her dream.
Conclusion: Does not meet my requirements for Destroyer Candidate... but would make a decent kai.
Legoshi sighs to himself before cheering himself up and approaching his next choice in individuals with positive ki signatures. One of these signatures turns out to be Charlie's mother. Her mother, like her daughter, did not make the requirements due to the unwillingness to kill.
Another positive ki signature belonged to a tall bird demon. He was laying on the couch and talking on the phone to someone. While he did sense positive ki from this Stolas, he quickly learned that he had some fixation in a demon called Blitz, had a wife that hated his guts to the point of homicidal rage, and a daughter who seemed indifferent to life as a means to protect her sanity. Legoshi was not quite sure what to make of Stolas, but he eventually decided to use his staff and send a text message to his phone asking if he would like to leave hell for a higher job with more freedoms and authority. Legoshi decided to prove the weight of this message by adding that he would no longer be tethered to the Goetia family that has chained him to a marriage that he never asked for.
Stolas looked confused, surprised, and a little insulted at the message, but he looked like he was pondering it for a few seconds before texting back.
"While I appreciate a stalker that knows a little too much about my personal life and would offer me something like this, I'm afraid I am going to have to decline. I would rather deal with this in my own way without direct help from someone outside, but thank you for the offer." He texted before deleting the message thread.
Legoshi decided to respect Stolas's answer and press the matter no further and left for the final signature in this world.
The last signature was in a tall, black building in a particularly decerped part of the city. Legoshi walked in the room office that he felt the positive ki coming from. Legoshi saw a somewhat run down office room that includes a kitchen, meeting room, and front office/lounge. The demons he saw there are a averaged height demon with red skin, black and white horns, wearing a business suit with designs on the sleeves. There was a wolf woman with red and white eyes wearing a grey top and black short skirt. There was a smaller demon woman with red skin wearing a black dress with yellow buttons. Lastly, there was a small demon man with red skin wearing a black suit and big red bow tie and radiated the positive ki that Legoshi had sensed.
based on his observations, Legoshi understood that this was a assassination company for hire, which is good for his search since this meant that the small demon man probably is willing and able to kill. Legoshi summoned his datapad again and started to take notes. After a couple of days of observation, Legoshi finished writing his notes and made his conclusion.
Moxxie:
Check: Able to show mercy?: I watched moxxie spare the lives of the family that nearly killed his wife.
Check: Respects life?: I watched moxxie hesitate to kill a woman because he valued the lives of the family members she was with and spared the lives of that family that later wronged him.
Check: Able to take life?: Moxxie killed his target and a few others a couple of days later.
Conclusion: Moxxie meets my requirements for Destroyer Candidate.
"Good... at least this trip was not a total bust. Now to make him and by extension his wife and boss an offer." Legoshi thought to himself.
Legoshi looked up IMP's phone number from their billboard and called their front desk from his staff.
"This is IMP services, who do need killed today?" Came the unenthused voice of the wolf woman called Loona.
"Yes. I'm here to make one of your employees a job offer and will pay all parties involved for their cooperation." Legoshi said in his best business voice.
Legoshi saw that the phone hung up.
"Clearly she does not believe me. Okay then." Legoshi thought to himself.
He looked through his staff to where Loona was and saw her watching videos at her desk computer. With a wave of his staff Legoshi manifested $300,000 dollars to instantly appear on the desk that Loona was at.
the sudden pile of money knocked over Loona's computer.
"O sh$%!" Loona yelled while falling out of her chair.
Legoshi then called the number again and used telekinesis to lift the phone off the stand and onto the desk.
"Do I have your attention now?"
Loona looked back and forth from the phone to the pile of money. She quickly inspected it and saw that it was real money. Loona then quickly picked up the phone.
"I'm so very sorry sir. Who was it you wanted to see?" Loona asked in a much more attentive and nervous voice.
"Loonie what was that sou..HOLY SHIT! That's a lot of money." Came the voice of Blitz over the phone.
"I wanted to meet with the one called Moxxie and give him a job offer."
Loona was confused by someone wanting Moxxie of all people to speak with, but since this guy proved he means business she decided to not bring up her opinion on the matter.
"Do you want me to put him on the phone?" Loona asked.
Blitz grabbed the phone, assuming the caller must be referring to him.
"Not you Blitz." came the voice over the phone loud enough for him to hear.
that startled both Loona and Blitz a bit as to how did the caller know Blitz picked up the phone.
"How did you know I picked up the phone? Are you spying on us?!"
"I am capable of seeing you yes, but I would call it investigating rather than spying." Legoshi defended himself as best he could.
"yeah yeah same sh#$ different pants! now what did you want?" Blitz asked in a slightly annoyed voice.
While Blitz was a little concerned about being spied on, the amount of money he was clearly given just now excited him greatly enough to overlook that detail.
"I wish to meet with your employee Moxxie and offer him a job. I will greatly compensate you all for accepting my request... more so than the $300,000 I have already given you."
"How much are we talking?" Blitz asked in a more excited tone.
Legoshi thought for a sec for the most effective use of words for someone like Blitz.
"Enough to make you into a rich assh$%^ as you would put it."
"Deal! what time did you want to come over?"
Blitz heard the phone hang up. He stared at the phone for second and was about to comment on that when there was a knock on the front office door.
Blitz opened up the door and saw what looked like a hell hound in profound looking robes with a staff and halo around his head. he was a couple heads taller than Blitz, but still shorter than Stolas. The thing that threw blitz off, besides the cloths and halo and staff, is the fact he smelled alive and his eyes did not have the typical red sclera of hell hounds and actually almost looked like human eyes.
"Were you just waiting out there the whole time?" Blitz asked.
"No. I'm just very fast. And it is a...pleasure to meet you Blitz. My name is Legoshi. I am here to see Moxxie for a job offer for him." He said with his hand extended out.
Loona was quite and fidgety as this was the second wolf man that she found attractive, even though he was a imposing figure, and hoped that he was available unlike Vortex.
Blitz happily shook Legoshi's hand as it looked like this was going to be a big score for him based on the wolf's attire alone which he has only seen the caliber of in Stolas.
"So what did Moxxie do for you? Did he brown nose for you so hard that he pegged you with his shoulders?"
it was at that point Moxxie and Millie entered the room to see what the commotion was about and saw their guest.
Legoshi walked up to Moxxie and extended his hand again.
"You must be Moxxie. My name is Legoshi and I am here to offer you a job with a lot more freedom and authority than what you currently have. Interested?" He asked while shaking Moxxie's hand.
Moxxie was polite but confused. He asked himself what did he do to get noticed by someone obviously wealthy or at least powerful by the way the man carried himself and his intimidating stature, although the gentleness in the eyes through that feeling off a bit.
"Me? what did I do to get your attention sir if you don't mind me asking. Also what job?"
"I was looking for those who could kill but still had a strong sense of morality to take on a test to see if they are capable of taking on a job of profound importance and based on my research it seems you are the only one in this world that meets my requirements to take my test."
"Okay...but what is the job?" Moxxie insisted.
Legoshi rubbed between his eyes as he realized he was going to have to put on another demonstration again to prove his sincerity.
"What I am about to say may be very hard for you to believe, but I am completely serious and will prove it with a demonstration. I am here to offer you a test to see if you qualify to become a candidate for this universe's God of Destruction."
the room fell silent for a few moments before everyone except Legoshi and Moxxie started laughing. Legoshi did not break eye contact with Moxxie or flinch at the laughter.
"HAHAHHHAAAHAHAHA! Okay but seriously why do you want him?" Blitz asked.
Loona didn't want to insult Legoshi, even though she did not believe him either, and said nothing.
"You're...You're serious aren't you? But why me?" Moxxie said.
Moxxie could tell from the way Legoshi looked at him that he was not lying, but still did not think that this was real too a certain extent.
"Because not only can you take life, but you show mercy and respect life. Now I assume you are hesitant about taking my test without proof that I'm not... how would you put this?...Full of sh$%?"
Moxxie nodded hesitantly.
the others were about to laugh or comment that indeed he was full of it, but the atmosphere of the room quickly shifted. Loona's, Millie's, Blitz's, and Moxxie's assassin instincts were telling them to run as Legoshi looked like he was getting taller and the room became darker.
Legoshi projected an image of several galaxy clusters to the group and when he saw that there was no life in them he closed the projection.
"Do any of you suffer motion sickness?"
"No." the rest answered one by one.
"Good."
Legoshi held up his staff and made the ceiling of room and rooms above it disappear. Legoshi floated upwards while lifting the others up with him using telekinesis. Legoshi re-materialized the walls that he deconstructed out o the way once they were on the roof. the group was then pulled into a 2 foot radius of Legoshi before everything to them became a white void with the occasional streak of colored light.
"Did I do bath salts again? I thought I quit that sh$% after adolescence." Blitz said aloud.
"Nope, we can see it to Blitz." Millie corrected.
Loona looked nervous for a moment.
"Hey... I'm sorry for laughing at you and not believing you." Loona shyly said to Legoshi.
"No need. I anticipated this outcome, and I don't blame you for not believing me at face value. Being told you could achieve divinity by someone sounds outlandish to any mortal."
"Wait... If you are offering my a chance to become a god... what does that make you?" Moxxie asked.
Everyone turned their heads at Legoshi expectantly as this was a very good question.
"I am also a deity. To be more specific, I am an Angel in reserves. Now I know what you are going to think, but I can assure you that I am not that kind of angel... those beings are not even deities and I hold no judgements or stereotypes against any of you based on your species."
"Ooo because of that whole halo thing." Blitz realized.
"Yeah and you aren't some cutesy, pretentious assh#$% like people from heaven we met." Millie added.
"They were probably some soul workers then. though not all of them look like that. It's probably who Bill decided to send over to the world your world is connected to."
"Wait..Bill? whose that? Sounds to human and generic to be a name in heaven." Blitz questioned.
"That's because he is the primary judge for the mortal souls of this universe and was promoted to that station sometime after he died... he was mortal once... also He is a perverted tiger man." Legoshi answered while projecting a image of Bill through his staff.
"Ahhh man.. I can smell the douche from just the image." Blitz commented.
"He may act like that, but at least he does his job well and knows when to shut the hell up."
"So ahh.. Mr. Legoshi sir. where are we going?" Moxxie asked.
Legoshi turned his head and smiled. He then fully turned as the white void was now replaced by a black one. The group could see clearly 5 groups of 20 galaxies around them.
"I said that I would demonstrate proof to you of my sincerity. I will now destroy all 100 of these galaxies in less than 10 seconds. Would that be proof enough?"
Blitz clearly looked like he still did not believe this and tried to float away. He was not suffocating or freezing and so believed this was either a hologram or hallucinations of some kind. When he floated 10 feet away from Legoshi, he suddenly grabbed at his throated and looked like he wanted to scream as ice formed on his skin. His insides were boiling as his flesh cracked and life leaving him. Legoshi believed that Blitz had enough and was now willing to believe him as he used his telekinesis to bring Blitz back into the safe zone.
"Still have any doubts where you are now Blitz?" Legoshi asked with a slight grin on his face.
Blitz was coughing violently before finally catching his breath and relaxing. everyone else looked to Legoshi for a moment and gave him a "No we believe you" look on their faces.
"Shhhh$%...FFFFFFF$%^ *breaths deeply* Yep!... this sh$% is real." Blitz admitted.
"Now as I was saying. Would destroying these galaxies in less than 10 seconds be enough proof for you Moxxie?"
"Yes sir." Moxxie weakly answered.
"Good."
Legoshi de-manifested his staff and held his left hand up. A ball of dark purple energy the size of a fist expanded into existence a foot above his hand and began spraying out smaller balls of dark purple energy that sped to each galaxy. The group saw all the stars of each galaxy disappear from existence and in 6 seconds, all 100 galaxies were erased like images in a eco sketch. There was now nothing but black all around them as now the only light was coming from Legoshi and his staff that he rematerialized.
"Now for the last part of the demonstration." Legoshi stated.
Legoshi tapped his staff on the "ground" 3 times. The group watched as the galaxies reappeared as if the reality around them was a VHS and someone pushed the rewind button until all of the galaxies were back to their previous states of being.
"Is that proof enough?" Legoshi asked.
Not a single one of them spoke for what felt like hours but was actually a couple of minutes.
Blitz and Moxxie shared a similar reaction of wanting to shit their pants in fear and awe. Millie was mesmerized by the amount of destruction and recreation that left her speechless. Loona had trouble coming up with the words to describe what she was feeling right now. She was mostly in awe and fear, but for some reason the display of power also "excited" her.
"I'm scaroused." Loona squeaked out after 2 minutes of silence.
"Me too." Millie added but with more confidence.
"...Moxxie?" Legoshi asked.
Moxxie quickly straightened himself up, felt like he pissed himself a little bit from trying to respond quickly, and managed to answer, but will little control over the volume of his voice.
"YES SIR... It... It's enough."
"Good. then let's head back."
Legoshi flew the group through the familiar white void as they made their back to hell.
"So... ahh.. Does being an Angel... keep you busy? I mean do you get time off or something or do you make your own hours?" Loona awkwardly asked Legoshi.
Loona was not sure where she found the courage to ask a god this question but she felt an impulsiveness to ask.
"Yes... although I am in reserves since all angel positions are currently filled. I suspect when my search for a God of Destruction candidate is over I will have plenty of time "off"... maybe too much time." Legoshi answered with his head slightly turned towards her.
"O... can you guess how long that will... nevermind. sounds stupid when you think about the scale of it." Loona asked then corrected herself.
"Depends really on the mortals of this universe. If there is one that meets my requirements and can pass my test then I think it will take me a couple of years at most to find them... but I will have to be constantly working for that."
Loona could not help but have her tail wag a bit at that.
Once they were all back inside the IMP office Legoshi turned again to Moxxie.
"So Moxxie... Will you take my test? It is ok to refuse it, but I will compensate you all for just taking it."
"umm... what is the test?" Moxxie hesitantly asked.
"Could it kill him?!" Millie asked out of concern for her husband.
"It won't, but it will be... painful I'm afraid."
"How painful?" Moxxie shakily asked.
"Like your mind body and soul were thrown into a volcano."
Moxxie shook for a bit but managed to calm himself with some deep breathing. He looked to Millie for a bit and then to his own hands for a few seconds.
"How much will you compensate us by?" Moxxie asked with a bit more bravery in his voice.
"I will give each a personalized reward that fits your personality, needs, and wants, while also giving you great wealth for you to spend on whatever you want."
Blitz was now getting excited over this while Moxxie looked like he was trying to brace/psych himself up.
"Okay... Legoshi... I accept and will take your test... but what will happen if I fail?"
"Nothing... but you may wish to take a few days off afterwards."
"And if he succeeds?" Millie asked.
"Then I will take him to his new planet that he will call home for a long time where he will train to become a destroyer and carry out his new duties to the maintenance of the universe. You will be basically destroying the useless and filth of the universe so that new life can grow and expand."
Moxxie looks to his boss, coworker, and wife before returning to Legoshi.
"And what will happen to them if I pass?"
"Then they can come and go with you as you and they please. There aren't that many restrictions on a destroyer's authority really, so long as they don't destroy the entire universe, respect their superiors, and do their job at a reasonable rate then they can do whatever they want."
Moxxie let out a sigh of relief.
"Ok that makes this so much easier for me then. * playfully kisses his wife* So what is this test?"
"Yeah stop blue balling me! what kind of test is a god going to give?!" Blitz chimed in.
"A simple one that we can do right here, right now."
Legoshi summoned a ball of Hakai into his left hand and held it in front of Moxxie's chest.
"When you are ready Moxxie, place the back of your hand into the palm of mine." Legoshi directed to his right hand.
Moxxie places his left hand into Legoshi's right palm.
"Now what i want you to do is force this energy back into a ball when it enters you. try imagining all the pain you will experience into one spot on your body and imagine it expanding out like a balloon in your hand. Are you ready?"
Moxxie nods and braces himself and Legoshi dissolved the ball of energy into Moxxie. What happened next Moxxie could have never braced himself for as he fell into an agony that no one in this hell has every faced before. His mind felt like it was screaming and tearing itself apart of thousands of his voices and memories blurred violently together. His body felt like a star was trying to claw its way out of every inch of his form. His soul felt like his emotional state and will were both chaotically alive and dead at the same time as his spirit fought for its own existence.
Moxxie started screaming so loudly and high pitched that he shattered all the windows in the office as he fell to his knees drenched in his own sweat. Millie rushed to his side and held him. Moxxie managed to rap his free arm around her and got some control of himself as he stopped screaming. He was still hyperventilating and sweating like he was in the shower, but he managed to regain some of his focus of the present as he held Millie tighter. This went on for 2 minutes before Legoshi ended the test be letting go of Moxxie's hand.
As soon as the pain stopped Moxxie started to violently vomit with bits of blood mixed in with it. he was shaking and wheeze breathing. Legoshi stepped away and waited for Moxxie to regain his health and composure.
"God...damn that must of sucked a spiky rotten co$%." Blitz said shocked and slightly covering his mouth.
"Moxxie are you still with me?" Millie asked while holding Moxxie's head up.
"I think I would have preferred being spit roasted by spiked bats inside a literal dumpster fire that can hurt me like a normal human than that... also i think i need to take a shower... and buy some new cloths." Moxxie weakly described.
Millie and Loona sniffed at that response and concluded that Moxxie most likely pissed and sh$% himself during that experience.
"No need.. I can take care of that." Legoshi said as he summoned his staff.
Legoshi pointed his staff at Moxxie and a green, starry mist covered Moxxie. In a matter of moments Moxxie's cloths wear cleaned and dried and his body was healed and revitalized. Moxxie stood up and brushed himself off and looked at himself and saw that his body felt like what it was before the test and his cloths were clean.
"I apologize for the trauma I just put you though. Unfortunately you did fail the test, but I will still reward all of you greatly for you just taking the test."
"So let's start off with you Blitz and by extension your company."
Legoshi went up to the meeting room window and motioned for Blitz to follow. Legoshi waved his staff and a green starry mist covered the parking lot. in a matter of moments a pile of money that reach and covered the window they were at manifested itself into existence. Blitz eyes, like the others, buldged out of their heads at the amount of money they were looking at.
"... Excuse me for a bit." Blitz slowly excused himself.
Blitz ran to the nearest bathroom and everyone could soon here a flapping skin sound from the bathroom with loud moans and screams. Blitz join back with the group after 4 minutes.
"And next we have Moxxie and Millie."
Legoshi manifests a black axe that was as tall as he was into his left hand and hands it to Millie.
"While this may be overkill for the caliber of targets you are usually assigned to, this axe should help you open a path through just about anything in this world or the world it is connected to. It's made from Kachi Katchin, which is the hardest metal in the multiverse."
Legoshi handed over the axe to Millie. She almost fell over from the weight of the axe, but managed to pick herself and the axe. she had real difficulty swinging it.
"Sorry... I forgot again how heavy that metal is... here."
Legoshi tocuhed the axe and used his unique Hakai technique to cut the weight of the axe down to a 6th of its original weight.
"Now try."
Millie was now able to swing the axe around like her other axe and was please with how powerful it felt in her hands.
"I think I know what you will enjoy Moxxie, but one of these rewards for you will probably benefit the company as well, but here is your specific rewards."
Legoshi gently tapped his staff on Blitz's shoulder which caused Blitz to glow green for a moment. Legoshi then manifested what looked like a tablet with a radar and screen showing Blitz.
Legoshi handed the tablet over and whispered into his ear.
"This should help you with your..."stalker" problem."
It only took Moxxie a second to recognize the the purpose of the tablet and what Legoshi meant.
"Now for your second reward."
Legoshi tapped the top of his staff into his left hand and made two neck tags appear in his hand. He handed one to Moxxie and one to Millie. They were lifetime VIP passes to Ozzie's.
Moxxie and Millie were giddy about this reward as they jumped around with each other and kissed each other passionately.
"Now for your last reward for you Moxxie, though this will also be a company reward."
"Yes! whore me out sugar daddy!... I mean can't fucking wait for this one!" Blitz accidentally shouted.
Legoshi tapped his staff to his hand again and manifested a duffel bag the size of himself and placed on the nearest desk. With a wave of his staff, Legoshi manifested weapons the group has never seen before, though they could guess as to what some of them do. What the group could guess, based on their experience with guns and the general shape of the weapons, was that there were 16 pistols, 8 shotguns, 8 miniguns, 8 rifles, 8 sniper rifles, and 4 rocket launchers. Legoshi opened the bag to reveal what looked like a few dozen grenades that they also have never seen before.
"Try them out, but I would recommend going outside for the thermal detonators and rocket launchers." Legoshi cautioned.
Moxxie picked up one of the pistols and pulled the trigger at the window. Instead of a bullet, the pistol fired a red beam of energy that shot out of the gun and ludicrous speeds and instantly melted a whole through the glass and 6 buildings before dissipating.
"These are energy based weapons called blasters, there are also disruptors in the mix as well that are more destructive but shorter ranged. I modified them with a recharging ammo supply so you won't have to worry about running out. The duffel bag will refill with detonators after 24 hours to its max holding amount."
"I'm gonna need you to stop at some point... my dick can only get so erect." Blitz commented.
"I have two more weapons for you to see."
Legoshi tapped his staff on the ground and just seconds later the group could here two loud thuds of metal from outside.
"I would suggest going outside and seeing for yourself." Legoshi said with a smile.
What the group saw when they reach the parking lot were two vehicles. One looked like a a white tank with red decals. The other vehicle they could not figure out but could guess there were two turrets from balls hanging on the sides and two missile launchers on top.
"This is a Tx-130 Saber Class fighting tank. Its equipped with high SPS (shots per second) laser cannons, rockets. levitating movement and high dense armor for high defense and maneuverability." Legoshi states while pointing at the tank.
Blitz and Moxxie immediately hugged the tank.
"And this is a Low Altitude Assault Transport/infantry. Its equipped with high SPS laser cannons, composite beam lasers, and mass driver missiles. it can take off, land, and turn on a dime. Both of these vehicles have self replicating ammo so you don't have to worry about running out."
"I call the flying one!" Flitz announces as he hoped into the cockpit.
"And I'll take the tank for a spin. Want to come Millie?"
"Would love to Moxxie!"
"Do you guys know how to even operate those? Don't go breaking our shit when we just got it." Loona pointed out.
"I can help with that, but I will need permission to enter your mind to do this as quickly and effectively as possible. Do I have your permission?"
"This isn't going to hurt or feel weird is it?" Moxxie asked.
"Nope."
"Good... You can do it then?"
"And you B"
"Just get your juice in my head already... I'm blue ballin not being able to fly this bad bitch."
"Yeah what he said!" Millie added.
Legoshi shrugged and closed his eyes while tapping his staff on top of each of their heads. The knowledge flowed into their minds like memories floating to the surface as they learned how to operate both transports. Legoshi also gave this knowledge to Loona. As soon as the process was done, about 2 minutes time total, Moxxie and Millie took the tank to the streets. Blitz took into the air screaming:
"I wonder which will shoot out harder, these rockets or my cuuuuuuuuuu..."
Legoshi lightly shakes his head before turning his attention to Loona.
"I haven't forgotten about you Loona." He said while giving a small smile.
Loona blushed a little bit and held her left arm.
Legoshi looked into his staff and to Loona's past to see if he can determine a personalized reward for her.
"I see. First I will cure you of your lingering ailments."
Legoshi gently touched the tip of his staff to Loona's head. Loona felt like she was in a relaxing shower for a few moments as the glittering light from the staff coated her. once the light was gone Loona noticed the swelling, itching, and inflamed parts of her body were now healed and no longer showed any signs of Syphilis.
"You cured my Syphilis?!"
"I saw that it was one of the only things you would have happily accepted from Blitz as a gift so I used my power to remove the disease from your body."
Loona stared at Legoshi for a moment before going in for a quick and awkward hug. she just as quickly let go of Legoshi when she realized how close she was to him and how developed and hard his muscles are underneath his robe.
"ssssorry about that!" She stutters while rubbing her left arm vigorously.
"No offense taken Loona. Now for your other rewa..." Legoshi trailed off.
Legoshi was interrupted by the sensation of a temporal distortion in the far distance away from this world. He knew that he had to act on this based on the possibility of someone trying to travel into the past, but he did not want to leave Loona without her last reward. Legoshi had to think quickly on his feet.
"Sorry about this but it seems someone might be... how would you put it... "Up to some shit"? I need to go But I will leave you with this."
Legoshi held Loona's head in his hands and kissed her on the forehead.
"That will protect you from any other troublsome pathogens. I must be going now. Bye!" He waved as he flew off in a column of light.
dozens of thoughts were racing through Loona's mind as to why he would kiss her like that. She knew he could have just used his staff to do that, but opted for a forehead kiss.
"Did he know?!... If he just had more time could he have?..." Loona thought to herself.
When she realized what that could have turned into for her then and in the near future she screamed:
"FFFFFFFFFUUUUUU#$%^#$%^#$%^!"
This next part will not follow the cannon of the anime, but my own spin on events in it.
Legoshi followed the source of the temporal disturbances to a garden world 3 minutes away. Legoshi landed in a open field next to a ocean that looked like a town or city once stood but was completely destroyed. The source of the temporal distortions was emanating from a white haired man in a completely white outfit. to the right of the man was a red haired woman wearing a large pointed hat. To the left was a older looking man with dark red skin and white hair. All three were in combat with a large group of individuals. A pink haired man was fighting the man committing the taboo. the red haired woman has engaged in combat with another red haired woman along with a few others while the old man was fighting the rest.
Legoshi descended instantly in front of the transgressor as he had made a door of light. Legoshi sensed the type of power it was and what its intended use was.
"Hakai." he said monotoned out loud.
Legoshi dissolved the door of space time into nothingness before turning towards the man called Zeref.
"Hakai his time manipulation powers." Legoshi thought to himself as he fixed his gaze at Zeref.
"You have committed a grave taboo mortal! atone for this transgression and swear to never commit such a sin again or be erase from all forms of existence!" Legoshi threatened/promised.
"Please say yes." Legoshi thought to himself.
the man looked angered for a second before trying to recreate the door but found that he could no longer control the flow of time.
"I have taken away your ability to warp space time. Now submit to my ultimatum."
"Don't interfere!" Zeref yelled at Legoshi as he charged a massive black magic attack.
Legoshi simply crushed the building sized ball of black death magic with his left hand and instantly appeared in front of Zeref with his right hand in his face.
"I take my job very seriously Zeref and I will not tolerate this violation to temporal stability. Give up this quest and any future attempts to travel to the past or be no more."
Based on what Legoshi managed to take away from him Zeref correctly believes that Legoshi is some kind of god.
"You bastards are all the same aren't you? it was not enough to curse me with immortality and have the world reject me, but you also have to take away my hope for humanity and myself too?! Go to hell! I defy you!"
Legoshi was confused by this and read his mind for context and found out about his cursed and conflicted past.
"I see...but that does not excuse your blatant disregard for the laws of creation. I would simply send you to the afterlife, but your unwillingness to yeild on this point has force my hand...I'm sorry...at least you will now know peace."
"Hakai his immortality." Legoshi thought to himself.
now certain that anyway Zeref could survive Hakai Legoshi focused his next word directly at Zeref.
"Hakai." Legoshi said in a monotone voice to Zeref.
for the first time in 400 years Zeref finally felt mortal and the first and last time in his existence he experiences oblivion and knew no more. Zeref dissolved in a wave of purple bubbles into nothingness in less than a second.
This act immediately got the attention of the woman called Irene and the old man called Augustus.
"Will the two of follow down his path and interfere with the laws of time?" Legoshi asked Irene and Augustus.
seeing that their master was not reforming back led them to the conclusion that Zeref was really dead and that angered both of them, Augustus much more than Irene.
"How Dare Y..." Augustus was shouting but was interrupted.
Legoshi grabbed Augustus by the neck and pushed him down to his knees before anyone realized what just happened.
"*annoyed sigh* Did you not hear me? I said will you commit the same taboo as your master? Yes or no is the next word I want to hear from you." Legoshi coldly threatened.
Irene tried to stop Legoshi but found that she could not will any part of herself to attack or even move. Augustus found that he could not cast any spells to get out of Legoshi's grip. Legoshi loosened his grip enough for him to talk.
"If my majesty defies then I will to." He proclaimed.
"*takes a deep breath* He was the only one that needed to be erased, but if you feel that way then I will simply send you to Bill then."
"who the hell is B..."
Augustus was intercepted again as his body was overcome with soul destroying agony. His body began to glow brightly as he was thrown off the planet and exploded into a ball of light that looked like the size of the sun. Legoshi turned around and walked towards a still motionless Irene.
"And now I ask you... Will you commit the same sin as your master?" Legoshi asked when he was within half a arms length away from her.
The other group of people were to stunned to say anything towards Legoshi and found that they too could not move or act.
For the second time in her existence, Irene finds that all confidence and vanity in herself and her power as she felt her magic and strength being pulled out of her body while still being unable to move or act. She falls to knees in sudden exhaustion.
Legoshi holds her head up towards his face with his left index finger.
"I am trying to put your situation into a undeniable perspective so that you do not act as rashly as he did. Contrary to the observed I do not enjoy the taking or erasure of life, but I will if the law and greater good of creation demand it. Now for both our sakes please do not transgress against time... especially the past."
Irene was breathing heavily as adrenaline was the only thing keeping her awake.
"So If I don't meddle with time you will spare me?" She slowly asked.
"Yes. That is the whole reason why I'm here in the first place."
"Then I swear to you that I won't manipulate time."
"Phew... See now was that so hard to say?" Legoshi said with a sigh of relief and a smile while patting Irene on the head.
Legoshi released Irene from his angel's oppression once he was sure she spoke the truth. Legoshi then turned his attention to the group that was also there.
"I hope I don't have to be as stern with all of you about this. Do you promise to not mess with the past?"
Legoshi loosened his oppression enough for the group to nod their heads.
"Good! then I guess my work here is done, but I will make some assurances before I go."
Legoshi looked into his staff for any places or objects that could send people into the past. He found one and was slightly relieved that he already destroyed the only other one called "Space Between Time" when dealing with Zeref. Legoshi used Hakai and erased the object called "the eclipse gate" from existence.
as a show of good faith Legoshi used Ki transfusion to heal and restore the power back into everyone around him and help Irene back to her feet.
Legoshi felt that Irene was trying to cast a spell on him but decided to just let it happen partly out of amusement and another out of proving his point. Irene tried to enchant her being into Legoshi but found that it instantly failed.
"Sorry but this body is already occupied and immune to possession of any kind."
Irene now knew she was fully outmatched and now fully conceded defeat.
"What are you?" Irene asked
"I am a wolf... was that not obvious?" Legoshi joked to break the tension.
"You damn well what I meant." She softly retorted in slight irritation.
"I know. I am also a deity called an Angel... and not the world bound kind of deities you have familiarized yourself with. My authority surpasses the stars and galaxies... think of the sun but billions of times larger and that is the size of a galaxy... my power far surpasses that. Does that answer your question?"
Irene didn't know what to make of that statement as she has never heard of a being that powerful.
"I have never heard of such a being. Are you just overestimating yourself?"
Legoshi simply touched her forehead and imparted knowledge of his power directly into her mind from his mind. Not the full extent of it, but enough to get the point across. Irene fell to her hands and knees in a on the floor apology position.
"Please forgive me! I did not mean to offend you!" She apologized multiple times.
"So long as you understand then that is enough... no need to apologize." Legoshi said while scratching the back of his head in slight embarrassment.
the one called Natsu was the first of the group called Fairy Tail to approach Legoshi.
"Incredible! you really pulled our asses out of the fire, but did you really have to kill him?"
"Yes. He would not relent in his meddling with the past."
"I guess that is good enough of a reason, but I would have preferred a different outcome... Anyways want to have a fight while your here?"
"Natsu! He just saved us and you already want to fight a guy that easily killed a guy that had our backs against the wall and the two most powerful wizards we have ever met?!" A woman called Lucy scolded.
"Yeah what she said dumbass flame brain!" Came the voice of a man called Grey.
"You could at least say thank you Natsu." a red headed woman named Erza scolded while punching Natsu on the head.
"Thank you for your help wolf man." Natsu politely bowed with a big swollen bump on his head.
Erza was about to strike Natsu again for saying something that sounded rude but was stopped by Legoshi.
"He does not know my name so no need to hit him again... besides I have been called worse." Legoshi reassured while holding Erza's wrist.
"Well... fair point. What is your name then?" Erza conceded and politely asked.
"My name is Legoshi."
Erza, Natsu, Grey, Lucy, Happy and the other members of fairy tail began to introduce themselves.
"It's a pleasure to meet you all, but I'm afraid that I am rather busy. Maybe once I am finished with my duty I will comeback I will accept your challenge, but I would prefer to have all of you fight me at once. Also it looks like you all need to time to heal and rebuild." He says motioning to the area all around him.
"And how long will that take?!" Natsu asked in a slightly impatient and disappointed voice.
"At most a year or two. Now I must be off... Goodbye." Legoshi waved as he flew off the planet in a column of light.
"Hope I don't have to deal with distractions like that again. Gohin is probably getting tired of taking over the destroyer duties at this point. Hope the other planet Bill mentioned has a candidate in it." Legoshi thought to himself as he flew across the universe.
