Attention all readers! If you are looking for Pokemon fanfiction that follows the storyline of Ash Ketchum and he has non-canon Pokemon, then my Pokemon fanfiction is not for you. I follow the franchise! So that means, I will be using the Pokemon that the creators in Japan use for the games as well as the show. Am I going to use any of the Alolan, Galarian and Hisuian forms of certain Pokemon throughout my fanfics? That depends on if Ash and Jordan catch any Alolan and Hisuian Pokemon as well as if I chose to write the Galar region. If you don't like that I'm not going to be creating and using non-canon Pokemon, then you may go search for Pokemon fanfiction writers that do.

I also want everyone to know that I don't like being rushed. So, if you want to read the next chapter, you will have to wait until I have finished it. I hope that you will like it and Happy Reading!

I DONT OWN POKEMON! I ONLY OWN THE OC AND CREATING HER POKEMON TEAM FROM THE SHOW!

Shoutouts:

AlphaGodzilla19-I know. Why do you think I made that Pokemon egg hatch in that chapter? It was a Dratini egg!

Narrator: After crossing the grassland, our heroes find themselves in the Safari Zone where wild Pokémon roam free, just waiting to be captured.

Jordan: Just what kind of Pokémon are roaming around here are we talking about?

Meeko: Riolu.

"Mankey! Mankey! Mankey! Mankey!" said several Mankey as they jumped from tree to tree.

"Wow. This place is like a dream." said Ash. "Pokémon wherever you look. It must be the Safari Zone."

"I never want to leave." said Jordan.

"Let's start catching them." said Ash.

"Wait a minute, Ash." said Misty.

"We might still be in the Pokémon reserve." said Brock.

"You don't know that, Brock." said Jordan. "I doubt that we're still on the Pokémon reserve."

"Jordan's right. This has to be the Safari Zone." said Ash. "Just take a look at all these Pokémon."

Just then, a Chansey pops up from behind a bush. "Ah, its Chansey!" Ash exclaims. "Here's my chance. I'm going to catch it."

Appearing out of the bush with a gun in her hands was Officer Jenny, wearing a Chansey disguise. "Freeze!" she shouted. "Drop that Pokéball. My name is Jenny, safari ranger. You're under arrest for Pokémon poaching."

"Under arrest?" asked Ash as they gasped.

"Pi, Pikachu." said Pikachu.

"I'm going to jail?" asked a terrified Jordan, her eyes starting to fill up with tears.

"Riolu?" asked Meeko, then hugs her trainer.

"This is a national Pokémon preservation area." said Ranger Jenny, pointing to an area of the map. "It's here for the raising and protection of Pokémon."

"I'm real sorry." said Ash as Jordan nodded in agreement. "My sister and I didn't know that."

"Well, you both look like you really didn't know, so I'm going to let you off with a warning this time." Ranger Jenny said to the siblings.

"Oh, thank you." said Ash and Jordan.

"Well, that's very nice of you, Ranger Jenny." said Brock.

"Well, I'm glad that's all cleared up." said Misty when suddenly an alarm goes off on the map.

"Huh?"

"Another poacher." said Ranger Jenny.

"Let us help you out, Jenny." said Ash. "We wanna make up for what happened before."

"Please." said Jordan.

"Thanks. Get on in." Ranger Jenny replied.

"Right." said Ash and Jordan as they hopped in her Jeep and take off into the jungle, screaming at Ranger Jenny's fast driving.

"There they are. We hit the jackpot." said Meowth as he, Jessie and James see a herd of Kangaskhan. "Kangaskhan parent and child Pokémon. (Cackles) All right, you guys, time to get to work."

"Prepare for trouble."

"Make it double."

"To protect the world from devastation…"

"To untie all peoples within our nation…."

"To denounce the evils of truth and love…"

"To extend our reach to the stars above…"

"Jessie."

"James."

"While you two are standing around reciting poetry, the Kangaskhan are going to get away!" said Meowth, jumping up and down in a panic. "Come on, hurry up!"

"Be quiet, Meowth." Jessie tells him.

"We know what to do without you yelling." said James.

"We have to say our poem or it just doesn't feel right." said Jessie. "Now stand aside and watch us work."

"What are you doing?" asked Meowth as Jessie and James held a cannon on their shoulders. "We're trying to catch the Pokémon, not blast them."

"Keep quiet and watch." said Jessie as they aimed for the Kangaskhan herd. Just then, Ranger Jenny and the quartet arrived, gasping at the herd.

"Kangaskhan. A Parent Pokémon. Once approaching extinction, they are now protected by law and inhabit the safari zone. Approach with extreme caution." said Dexter. "The Kangaskhan is a rare Pokémon which it raises its child in its pocket. They will attack viciously and without warning if they feel their young are threatened in anyway."

"Wow." said Ash.

"Thanks, Dexter." said Jordan as Meeko held onto her.

"Fire." said Jessie, shooting the cannon overhead, causing the Kangaskhan to growl.

"Hey, what's that?" asked Ash and Jordan.

"Over there! Poachers." said Ranger Jenny as they looked over to their left.

"It's Team Rocket." said Ash.

"What are they doing to the herd?" asked Jordan.

"We've got to stop them." said Ash.

"I'm afraid if we're going to stop them, we're going to have to run away first." said Ranger Jenny.

"What?" asked Brock and Ash. "Huh?"

"Ah! What's that?" asked Ash as the ground starts to shake and the Kangaskhan herd stampedes towards the jeep.

"Kangaskhan are easily scared, but once they're surprised, they never stop charging." Ranger Jenny explained as Ash and the others gasped and screamed while she puts the jeep in reverse.

"That's it. Charge right into our net." said James as he pressed the button on the controller. A net rose up from the ground and was aimed for the herd of Kangaskhan, who then stopped in their tracks, growling at the net landed on them.

"Looks at all the mighty Kangaskhan we've caught in our trap." said Jessie, laughing from the jeep she, James and Meowth were in.

"Well, well, which one shall I pick?" James asked with a smile.

"That parent and child sure look nice." said Meowth, pointing to a Kangaskhan struggling against the nest and whose child was squeaking in fear.

"We can't let Team Rocket get away with this." said Ash.

"Pikachu." Pikachu said in agreement.

"They're hurting them with that net of theirs." said Jordan.

"Riolu!" growled Meeko.

"Ah! Look at those poor baby Kangaskhan." said Brock.

"Quick, Jenny, we have to do something to save them." said Misty.

"It's no good." she said to Misty. "I overheated the engine on the last stunt."

"Huh?" said the quartet as Ranger Jenny pops the hood of the jeep, revealing an overheated engine and caused the four of them to scream.

"Kanga!" said a boy, glaring at Team Rocket from the trees as he sees the net over the herd.

"I claim this Pokémon for Team Rocket." said Jessie as she sends out one of her Pokéballs at the Kangaskhan herd when suddenly a boomerang whirled through the air and smacks it back right into her face. "Who did that? Who's out there?"

"Kanga!" the little boy called out.

"Whats that sound?" asked Meowth.

"Kanga! Kangas!" shouted the boy, swinging on the vine as he held his boomerang and runs over to the Kangaskhan. "Kangas! Kang! Kangas, Kangaskhan."

The boy freed the Kangaskhan from the net and instructed them out. "What does that little savage think he's doing?" Jessie asked angrily as one by one the Kangaskhan walk out of the net.

"You can't have them. We caught them." screeched James as the boy jumps up to a tree branch.

"Kangas, kangas, kang!" shouted the boy with his boomerang pointed over his head as the Kangaskhan turned their heads and glared at Team Rocket.

"I don't like the way they're looking at us." said Jessie.

"They're staring straight at us." said James.

"Quit yapping and let's get out of here fast." said Meowth, failing his arms.

"Kangas, kang!" shouted the boy and the herd of Kangaskhan surrounded Team Rocket.

"Kanga!" growled one Kangaskhan, swinging its tail at Team Rocket, who were then lifted into the air screaming. Another Kangaskhan swung its tail at Team Rocket.

"Kangaskhan!" shouted Kangaskhan, spinning around and knocked Team Rocket far into the sky.

"Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!" shouted Team Rocket.

"Kangaskhan!" the boy called out to the herd as they chattered back to him. The young boy hops down from the tree branch and into the pouch of the big Kangaskhan leader.

"Kangas, Kangaskhan." said the boy.

"Kangaskhan! Kangaskhan! Kangaskhan!" said the herd as they left.

"That's amazing how he commanded all of those Kangaskhan just by yelling like that." said Ash.

"I'm curious to know how he got that whole herd to trust him like that." said Jordan.

"Hm. Yeah. He's very good." said Brock. "He's just a kid, but he could become a famous Pokémon trainer."

"I hear something." said Ranger Jenny. "Huh?"

She looked up to see a helicopter approaching them as it lands on the grass in front of them. "Oh! Who's that?" asked Ash.

"Why are they landing in front of us?" asked Jordan as she and Ash coughed from the swirling dirt flying everywhere.

"Greetings. Please excuse the noise." said the man and his wife as they exited out of the helicopter. "Are you the Safari Zone Pokémon ranger?"

"Yes." replied Ranger Jenny.

"Let me introduce myself. I'm Tommy's father." he said to them. "I came here because I heard that someone has seen my son, Tommy, in this area."

"Your son, Tommy, is here in the Safari Zone?" Ranger Jenny asked.

"Papa, I think we have to tell them a little more about Tommy." said Tommy's mother.

"Of course. You're right. Forgive me." said Tommy's father in agreement.

"Right."

"Sure."

"You can explain the rest back at the station." suggested Ranger Jenny.

"A splendid idea." said Tommy's father and they all went back to the station.

"It happened five years ago." said Tommy's mother as she starts the story. "Tommy was only three years old when we decided to take him with us on a family trip around the world."

"That's correct." said Tommy's father.

[Flashback]

"Venonat." said Venonat as it walks by a Weedle.

"Mankey! Mankey! Mankey!" said a Mankey, swinging in the trees by its tail as a helicopter flew overhead.

"See, Tommy, look at all the Pokémon down there." said Tommy's father, showing three-year-old Tommy the Safari Zone then starts to hold him outside the window. "Here, take a closer look."

"Papa, be careful!" Tommy's mother said to him.

"Don't worry, my dear. Tommy's having such a good time." he said as Tommy waved his arms and kicked his legs happily when suddenly Tommy's father accidentally let's go of him, causing young Tommy to scream happily.

"Oh no, Tommy." screamed his mother.

"Don't worry about him, Mama." said Tommy's father. "He just wants to get a closer look. What a smart boy our Tommy is."

Down below, Tommy's parachute opens and he drifts away from the helicopter. "There's nothing but a parachute left." said Tommy's mother.

"Maybe if you had been holding him, this wouldn't have happen." said Tommy's father.

"It's your fault!" Tommy's mother shouted, making him whimper in fear.

[Flashback ends]

"Ever since that day, we've searched high and low, but we can't find him anywhere." said Tommy's father.

"Pika." said Pikachu as he and Meeko started to tear up from the story.

"Rio." said Meeko, sadly.

"Quit that, Pikachu and Meeko." said Ash. "You both are going to make me cry too."

"There's nothing wrong with crying, Ash." said Jordan, wiping her eyes. "It's a really sad story."

"It's just like Papa said." said Tommy's mother, using a handkerchief to dry her eyes. "We looked as hard as we could but couldn't find him anywhere. Then someone sent us a picture of a young boy who leads a pack of Kangaskhan here in the Safari Zone."

"I always knew that this day would come." Tommy's father said. "Someone was bound to see Tommy somewhere."

"I know it's a bother, but would you consider helping us in our search?" Tommy's mother asked Ranger Jenny. "We'll do anything. Here's the picture. If Tommy is still alive, he would be just about this age."

"Ah, you mean Tomo." said Ranger Jenny, picking up the picture of Tommy, then holds a clipboard with Tommy's information, causing the mother to gasp. "You won't have to look far. His address is listed right here in the Safari Zone directory."

"Really? Thank goodness." said Tommy's father.

"We saw him out in the jungle just before you came." said Ash. "My friends, my sister and I'd be glad to help you find him if you want us to."

"Pika, Pi." said Pikachu.

"Oh, please let us help you." said Misty.

"It would be our pleasure." said Brock.

"Thank you all so much." said Tommy's father, grateful that they were volunteering to help. "Now we can finally be united with our son and live together as a family."

"I have a feeling that these parents are gonna make us do something that we'll soon regret." said Jordan.

"Riolu." said Meeko.

Out in the forest, Jordan's prediction came true. "Ah, its lovely ridging through the jungle like this." said Tommy's father as Ash, Jordan, Misty and Brock were carrying them like they were on an elephant.

"How'd we end up with a job like this?" asked Ash.

"Its because you had to go and volunteer us all." said Misty.

"You're the one who said, 'Oh, please, let us help you'." retorted Ash.

"Why did we have to go and open our big mouths?" asked Brock.

"I did say that we'll soon regret this." said Jordan.

"Riolu. Olu." said Meeko.

"This is why no one listens to us, Meeko." added Jordan.

"You should've stopped us, Jordan." said Ash.

"How can I, Ash?" she asked. "I'm not mom, I cant tell you what to do once you set your mind on something."

"I apologize for this." said Tommy's mother. "Papa doesn't get outdoors much, and he's not in the best of shape."

"I admit it." said Tommy's father.

"Pika. Pika?" said Pikachu, looking up to see a Kangaskhan child on the jungle floor, whimpering in pain.

"Wait, what's that?" asked Ash.

"Huh?" the others asked as they dropped Tommy's parents onto the ground.

"Ow! My lumbago! Ow!" shrieked Tommy's father as the baby Kangaskhan continued to cry in pain.

"A baby Kangaskhan." said Misty as the four got closer.

"It looks like its injured." said Ash.

"Who injured you, little one?" asked Jordan.

"Leave it to me." said Brock.

"Can you treat it, Brock?" asked Ash.

"Don't forget, Ash, Jordan, I've been studying to be the world's best Pokémon breeder." Brock reminded the siblings, then places the baby Kangaskhan in Jordan's arms. "You'll be just fine."

"Rio, Rio." Meeko said to the baby Kangaskhan as it wiggled in Jordan's arms.

"This'll sting a little, but it'll make your wound heal faster. I promise." Brock said to the baby Kangaskhan as he sprays the medicine on its body, causing it to screech out.

"Look out behind you!" Misty said to Brock as Tommy's boomerang was aimed at him.

"Huh?" said Brock as he looked over his shoulder as Tommy's boomerang makes contact with Ash's face, causing him to groan.

"Pika, Pi!" Pikachu cried out.

"Are you okay, Ash?" asked Jordan.

"Rio?" asked Meeko.

"Tomo." said Misty.

"You hurt Kangaskhan. You bad." said Tommy.

"No we didn't." said Misty as Brock takes the baby from Jordan's arms. "Brock was just trying to help the baby Kangaskhan because its hurt. That is until you threw your boomerang at him."

"How would you feel if someone threw their boomerang at you?" asked Jordan, taking Tommy's boomerang from him. "Do you want this thrown at your head?"

"Now apologize!" the girls demanded when Tommy just stared at them.

"Uh, what's the matter?" asked Misty.

"Is my hair messed up?" asked Jordan.

"You people or Pokémon?" asked Tommy.

"Ah!" said Misty as Jordan starts to giggle when the former hits Tommy on the head. "I'm a person, you creep!"

"Hurry my dear! It sounds like they may have found our Tommy." said Tommy's father.

"Huh?" asked Tommy as they ran up. "Who you, old man?"

"I am Papa, this is your mama, and you are our son, Tommy." Tommy's father explained.

"Tommy, come home with your mommy and daddy." said his mother as Tommy looked between Misty and Jordan and his parents.

"They Pokémon or peoples?" he asked Misty and Jordan.

"They're peoples…..Uh, people!" shouted Misty.

"Tommy, these two people are your parents. Your mother and father." Ash said to Tommy. "They've been looking for you for a very long time."

"Mother? Father?" asked Tommy, confused.

"I don't blame him for being confused." said Jordan. "I would be confused too if I was lost for so many years."

"Riolu." said Meeko.

"Its no good, Ash. Jordan's right. He doesn't know them. He was only three when they were separated." said Misty. "Take a good look. Try to remember. This is your mother and your father, and your real name is Tommy. Think back, Tommy. Try to remember, Tommy."

Tommy starts to remember, he remembers the Kangaskhan humming and singing a lullaby to their young.

"Tommy?" his mother asked.

"Do you know me, son?" his father asked.

"Do you remember them now, Tommy?" Ash asked as he shakes his head and groans.

"Tomo mama Kangaskhan! Mama Kangaskhan!" shouted Tommy and was suddenly hit in the head by his father with a large tree branch.

"What are you doing, Papa?" asked Tommy's mother.

"He'll be fine." replied Tommy's father. "We'll just take him home and start from scratch."

"Look what you've done to him." Tommy's mother said as she rushes over to him. "Tommy, can you hear me? Tommy. Tommy. Tommy!"

[Flashback]

"Tommy, my little boy." said his mother as she held him in her arms.

"Mama. Mama!" he called out happily as she shakes a toy rattle in her hand, laughing.

[Flashback ends]

"Tommy. Tommy! Tommy." his mother called out to him as he opens his eyes. "Are you all right, Tommy?"

"Mama." he said, looking up at her.

"Tommy. oh, my little boy remembers me." she said.

"That clonk on the head must have helped bring your son's memory back." said Ash.

"I wonder if I can give you one, Ash." said Jordan as Meeko giggles.

"Tommy, my boy, remember Papa?" his father asked when suddenly he was hit on the head as well. "D'oh!"

"One memory at a time, okay, Papa?" Misty asked, dragging him away.

"Forgive us, Tommy." his mother tells him. "You must have been so lonely. We'll never be separated again. Now let's go home."

"Your mother and your father have been looking all over for you for years, Tommy." said Ash.

"I know its going to be hard to leave the Kangaskhan, Tommy, but wouldn't it be a whole lot better to live with your real parents?" asked Misty.

"Sometimes, the real parents the ones who raised you, but this is a real unusual situation." said Brock.

"Tomo mama Kangaskhan, but this lady Tomo mama too." said Tommy, feeling more confused than ever.

"You cant live with both of them, Tommy." said Ash.

"Kangaskhan mama too! This lady mama too!" shouted Tommy. "Tommy head feel bad."

"What if he can, you guys?" asked Jordan, getting an idea.

"Rio?" asked Meeko.

"What do you mean, Jordan?" asked Misty.

"If Tommy decides to live with his parents, then the Kangaskhan who raised him as her own should go with him so she and the Kangaskhan baby can be his Pokémon partner when he's old enough to be in the Pokémon league." Jordan explained her idea. "But if he wants to stay here with the Kangaskhan and the herd, then….."

"I get it." said Brock, seeing where Jordan was thinking.

"Exactly." said Jordan.

"I don't get it." said Ash.

"Neither do I." said Misty. "Tommy. Huh?"

"I need your help. Someone's poaching Kangaskhan again." said Ranger Jenny as she pulls up in her jeep. Everyone gasped when they heard this and Tommy takes off through the trees.

"Kanga, Kangaskhan!" he shouted, jumping from branch to branch.

"Tommy!" shouted Tommy's mother.

"Come on, lets go!" said Ash as he and the others climbed into Ranger Jenny's jeep.

"Kanga!" screamed Tommy.

"Tommy must feel that those Kangaskhan are his real parents after all." said Tommy's mother as she fell to her knees. "He's completely turned into Tomo. I guess we'll have to give up."

"Don't say that, Mama." said Tommy's father, popping up out of the bushes behind her. "Deep down, Tommy is still our boy."

"Papa." said Tommy's mother.

"Yes?" he asked.

Out in the wide-open field, a metal Kangaskhan rode up to the Kangaskhan herd. "All right, lets get the show on the road." said Meowth.

"Now I will present my impression of an injured Kangaskhan for your enjoyment." said Jessie, holding a walkie talkie. "Kangaskhan! Kangaskhan! Kangaskhan! Kangaskhan!" The Kangaskhan looked up at the metal Kangaskhan, thinking that it was hurt.

"Kangaskhan! Kangaskhan!" said Jessie into the microphone.

"Kangaskhan, kangas." said the Kangaskhan leader, shaking her head at the herd. They didn't listen to her as they went past her, growling at they went over to Team Rocket.

"They're headed this way. They can't tell it's a fake." said James.

"Our plan's a success." said Jessie, laughing. "We're finally getting our Pokémon."

"James, put the Kangaskhan to sleep, and we'll round them all up!" Meowth ordered.

"Firing tranquilizer." said James, aiming the tranquilizer at the herd and fires several rounds. Every single Kangaskhan that was hit starts to fall down and fall asleep, causing the Kangaskhan leader to growl and glare at Team Rocket.

As she starts to head towards Team Rocket, she was hit with a tranquil. "Kangaskhan." she said in defeat as she falls to the ground.

"Now's our chance." said James. "Lets get our new Kangaskhan."

"Kanga!" shouted Tommy as he swings in on a vine, then sees Team Rocket closing in on the herd. "You bad Kangaskhan. Tomo angry." Tommy throws his boomerang at Team Rocket's metal Kangaskhan, only to be deflected back at him. "Kangaskhan?" he asked, confused at this.

"Its jungle boy." said James.

"He ruined our plan last time." said Jessie. "This time, lets show him who's boss."

Jessie turns their metal contraption towards Tommy. "Rocket punch." said James and both hands were fired from the metal Kangaskhan, aimed at Tommy, who then dodged it.

"That Team Rocket." said Ash as he and the others drove up in front of Tommy. "We got to stop them."

"How are we gonna stop them this time in that metal thing?" asked Jordan as Ash turns his hat backwards.

"Bulbasaur, I choose you!" said Ash.

"Bulbasaur!" said Bulbasaur.

"Bulbasaur, quick. Use your vine whip now!" said Ash.

"Bulbasaur!" said Bulbasaur, releasing its vine whip and wrapping them around the fake Kangaskhan.

"Squirtle, I choose you!" said Ash.

"Squirt! Come on out!" said Jordan.

"Squirtle, Squirtle, Squirtle." said both turtles.

"Squirtle, Squirt, go! Give them your Skull Bash attacks!" said Ash and Jordan.

"Squirtle! Squirt!" said Squirtle and Squirt, giving their Skull Bash Attack together at Team Rocket before both of them getting knocked back.

"Kanga!" screamed Tommy as he runs towards Team Rocket, wielding his boomerang around in his hand as he jumps onto the metal Kangaskhan, hitting the head. "Kanga, kanga, Kangaskhan!"

"All that banging is giving me a headache." said Jessie.

"This ought to fix that." said James, pulling a rope with a sign that said, 'Power up'.

"Kanga, kanga, kanga!" shouted Tommy as he continued to bang when out of nowhere the Kangaskhan's eyes glowed yellow, freeing itself from Bulbasaur's vines and knocking Tommy to the ground. "Huh?"

"You've been a bad boy." said Meowth as Team Rocket rolls up on Tommy.

"Tommy! Pikachu." said Ash.

"Pika." said Pikachu, nodding.

"You too, Meeko." said Jordan.

"Rio!" said Meeko.

"Charmander, I choose you!" shouted Ash.

"Raya, I choose you!" shouted Jordan.

"Char! Drati!" said Charmander and Raya.

"Pikachu, Charmander, Thunder Shock and Flamethrower." said Ash.

"Meeko, Raya, Bubble Beam and Vacuum Wave." said Jordan.

"Pikachu!"

"Char!"

"Riolu!"

"Dratini!"

"Kanga!" shouted Tommy as he threw his boomerang at the metal Kangaskhan alongside the attacks. Tommy's boomerang knocked off a cap that was leading to a gas tank, emptying it out when suddenly Charmander's flamethrower made contact with it, causing Team Rocket to scream.

"Great." said Ash.

"Good job." said Jordan.

"Tomo do it." said Tommy. Soon enough, their celebration was cut short as Team Rocket moved forward.

"Oh, no!" shouted Ash and Jordan.

"Get in quick!" said Ranger Jenny and they ran to the car.

"(Laughs) They think they have us beat, do they?" James asked with a smile on his face.

"Lets give them a taste of our super punch." said Jessie.

"One super punch, coming up." said James and pulls the rope again when they suddenly heard a helicopter following them.

"Huh?" said Team Rocket.

"Don't worry! We're coming to save you, Tommy!" said Tommy's father. Team Rocket starts screaming as the helicopter crashes into them, causing a huge explosion.

"Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!" shouted Team Rocket. On the ground, Tommy and the others looked at the crash site.

"Tommy's parents saved us all." said Misty.

"They sacrificed themselves so they could save their son's life." said Brock.

"They really loved him." said Ash.

"And now they're gone." said Jordan. Tommy drops his boomerang as he whimpers and sobs for the parents he never got to know until tears flowed from his eyes as he wailed.

"Pikachu. Riolu." said Pikachu and Meeko.

"Its okay, Tommy." said Jordan, running up to him and gave him a hug as he cries into her small frame until they hear someone singing a lullaby.

"You are my little Tommy." sang Tommy's mother as she and Tommy's father came out of the rubble.

"Huh?" they all asked.

"Tommy, your father and I decided that if you love the Kangaskhan so much, we'll stay here and protect the Pokémon with you." she said to her son.

"Let Mama and Papa join your family, Tommy." said Tommy's father.

"Huh?" they all asked again and Tommy's parents nodded.

"Papa. Mama." said Tommy, then yells as he lets go of Jordan and runs up to his parents.

"We'll be together from now on, Tommy." said his mother.

"Good." said Tommy.

"Do you think Tommy and his parents can really be a family?" asked Ash.

"Can they?" asked Jordan.

"Ash, Jordan, they love each other. They'll be just fine." said Brock.

"It might be tough, though." said Misty. "After all, they were apart for five years."

"That's true." said Jordan.

"Riolu." said Meeko.

"And its going to be hard for them to even communicate." said Ash.

"Kangaskhan!" said a voice from behind them, gaining their attention. They turned to see a Kangaskhan parent and its child walking up behind them. "Are you lost?" asked Ash and she shakes her head no. It then walks up to Jordan and Meeko, giving them both a hug while the baby Kangaskhan grabs one of her Pokéballs.

"Huh?" said Jordan and Meeko as the baby hands it to its mother. Kangaskhan taps it, letting the both of them get captured.

"I wasn't expecting that to happen to me." said Jordan.

"It's a first for our family." said Ash.

"That's true, Ash." said Jordan.

"Pikachu." said Pikachu, who then looks up at a cliff. "Pika? Pika, Pika!"

"Rio? Riolu!" said Meeko, following Pikachu's line of sight.

"Huh?" they asked, looking up and start laughing as Tommy and the baby Kangaskhan waved from the leader's pouch.

"Kangas, Kangas, Kangaskhan!" said Tommy and the baby Kangaskhan.

"Kangas, Kangas, Kangaskhan!" said Tommy's parents.

"I think your right, Brock." said Misty.

"I don't think, I know you're right, Brock." said Jordan, with a smile on her face.

"Like I said, they'll be just fine." said Brock.

"Kanga, Kangaskhan!" Ash called out.

Narrator: Seeing the happy family reunited, Ash and Jordan remembers their own mother waiting patiently for them in Pallet.

Jordan: Who we miss every day and I can't wait to show off Meeko to her.

Meeko: Riolu!

Narrator, smiling off screen: But now our heroes journey on, eager for more new adventures and for more new Pokémon.

"Kangas, Kangas, Kangaskhan!" said Tommy and his family as they waved bye to Ash and the others.

"I guess like son like father." said Tommy's father.
