Summary/disclaimer: Time for another Chapter of Blazing Burnout. Enjoy the 4000-word chapter. I don't own Sonic; Sega and a few others do.

Sonic rushed further and further across his home planet. He hadn't yet gotten anywhere close to where the fire had been when he had started… Well, maybe that was just how he had moved. He had moved so fast that the speed, in general, seemed to have moved more than he had yet. There was a lot more insanity yet on his mind.

He looked over the flaming pit when it came down to it. He knew quite well what was within it. It seemed to handle said issues. He knew who it was when it came down to it. Tails would have known if he had managed to get here on time on have gotten when this was all said and done.

He tapped on his arms with interest before waiting for Tails to have caught up and gladly seemed to have waited for him to appear.

"Blaze?" Sonic asked as he looked into the crater.

He was indeed greeted by the female purple cat who had been around here and there. She was surrounded by at least 2 of the Sol Emeralds, the trinkets to which her home dimension housed. It had been odd to see them, but he assumed that something had gone on. It had to have done so if she was here, surrounded by people who had no real idea as to what was coming. This wouldn't end anytime soon, not with such powers upon him. It had been a while since she had dealt with him.

And then she had fired a flame at him. one which caused him to flip so fast that the fire didn't even have time to singe his tail as it passed by him. He'd be surprised if her first words didn't throw him off before he landed.

"Where am I? who are you….?" She asked, looking at him with a flame bared in her hand as he tried to raise his to comfort her.

"Blaze? It's me, Sonic." Sonic said as gently as he could, not trying to bother her as he took a step closer and was forced to flip to the side.

She glanced at him, the flame burning in her eyes as something finally clicked, after a second of hesitation. She slowly stood up and glanced around. It seemed to have clicked in her mind that her friend had been in front of her as she rested a hand on her knee and pushed off from the ground.

"Are you constantly running around looking for chaos, Sonic?" Blaze questioned with a smirk as she dusted herself.

"Heh, your one to talk," Sonic said with a smirk before he realized she had been covered in dirt. "What brings you here? I thought you went home." Sonic said to which Blaze hummed.

"I was home, things changed… Something horrible happened which brought me here." Sonic heard from Blaze as she started to look around. "What… where are the other Sol Emeralds?" Blaze questioned as she looked around with terror written on her face.

(Vacuum of space)

Eggman was thrown from his egg mobile hard enough for the glass to shatter. It was then he noticed the ship was massive with dozens of halls that seemed to lead off hangers and all over the ship. It hadn't yet been where it should have been in his mind.

"So, this is my prime counterpart? The one who has yet to kill Sonic? Heh, I expected more… Egg Knights? Bring him to me." He heard as he looked around.

Then a group of robots appeared. He hadn't been able to get a good look at them, but they towered over his Egg Pawns. All of them seemed black and blue, metallic-like his robots, but far more menacing, their faces are hidden behind giant metal masks which hide their garish features from him and told him little to nothing more than they were machines. Each of them had at least 6 arms, 2 of which held guns of some sort and the other 4 holding swords which easily dwarfed him

"Eh, prime?" Eggman questioned before a heavy sigh was heard uttered and the robots bowed, planting their swords on the metallic hull.

"Yes, you childish buffoon. Prime. You are Eggman prime, just as I am." He heard as he looked ahead.

From the darkness came an egg mobile. One that largely seemed to be the size of a helicopter or such. He was baffled by the sleek and shiny black and blue paint job which told him that such a thing had been done…

He looked at the man in front of him, curious as to how this man could have been him.

It was him, even with the same garish paint job applied to his clothing. The mustache which spread out from his face and ended in two very well-groomed points told him as much. What terrified him was just how much this man seemed to have been him. He was taller, very tall. It told him that the man had been in space for a much longer time than he had.

However? All this did was terrify Eggman. Either the man was utterly blasted insane or he wasn't lying and was indeed him. he pushed the red-tinted glasses up his face as he looked down at Eggman. He wore some metallic armor-like jacket which was again in black and blue. The man's black gloves only seemed to confirm that such a color was naturally associated with him.

There was a lot more to have gotten done as he stepped downwards to the ground, dusting himself off.

He snorted as he did so, snapping a command to his robots which carried it out far more easily than he would have. They turned to him, all of their weapons ready, all of them were prepared for now. It was a lot odder to have done such a thing. It was oh so hard for him to think about what may or may not have done so for now.

They have a lot more problems that hadn't yet arisen. She didn't know what this was and had yet to cut it all over now. He hadn't a lot more to this. Eggman didn't even know how to have responded.

"If you're done? We have a planet to destroy… And I have a hedgehog to crush. Metal Sonic II? Go find him and bring me his head… I don't have time for the blue brat or his friend." The man ordered as something surged in the darkness.

"What do you mean?" Eggman added as he looked around. "You've…. What do you have there? How did you get the Sol Emeralds?" Eggman stated to which he looked around before he seemed to have gotten more than he could have a chew.

He didn't know what was going on… But he did know that something odd had been thrown at him. Another variant of himself? One who looked like a conqueror who had been prepared for the worst.

He didn't know what would have happened now. This didn't end the way he had wanted it.

"You are either going to have needed to be useful or I'll throw you back into the void with your broken toy. I'll make something similar… Something I can enjoy doing. I can tell you that well. We both know what will be done and dusted." Blaze stated that he seemed to have questioned before it seemed to question, he seemed to have a while to question for not.

This was such an odd idea, such a very odd idea on the mind that he hadn't was all said and done. He hadn't the proper idea. He didn't know what this had been. He didn't know what this was going to have to get all done and dusted.

"Well, pick your blasted jaw up off the ground. I'm not going to have all day to deal with this. I'm not. I don't feel like it." He heard from the other Eggman "Besides, I don't want your failure to stink up my ship…. If you're going to watch my destruction of Sonic's life? I'd rather have an audience for it. it's going to be rather fun." Eggman heard as he seemed to have questioned what was going to be going to have something going on in his mind.

This wasn't to be without fun. Nor would it be easily ended. No, he'd see it end properly. He would watch the death of Sonic's world with glee. Then he'd find some amusement in parading.

(With Sonic and Blaze)

Blaze ran her fingers over her head and sighed, cursing as she did so. There was so much going on that she didn't at all understand it. Such a thing had been a hard thing. It was an odd thing. It was a harder thing to have gotten on my mind.

She knew more than them what was going to have been something terrible. If anything? These new enemies were just making her too tired and too thrown off. Sonic wasn't even aware of what they were going to be up against when it was all said and done.

Sonic tapped his foot on the ground before he seemed to turn to her. The hedgehog seemed to have gotten tired and seemed to have grown more and more tired. It was just more and more horrifying that he had no real attempt to have gotten when it was all said and done. He didn't know what else this had been before long. It had been a nightmare she had hoped to have spared him the thought of such a thing. It had yet gotten where he should have gotten to have handled this problem now. He didn't know what it had been for now.

There were a lot of odder problems for now. Such a thing before now had been terrifying and it constantly threw them all off for the time being. They had no problems with trying to have gotten there was just too much more on their mind.

He didn't seem to have gotten what it questioned to before he seemed to question before he sighed to have to focus before it was all to have done and dusted. This problem was… Terrible. It couldn't have done something. Blaze seemed to have gotten over it, she had gotten over it all before it seemed to have prepared for the worst.

"There is a horrible monster that has come to this world, Sonic. It destroyed my world and damaged me trying to stop it. it will come here." Blaze said before she hummed and looked down at the ground.

"And this guy is who? You said something about how they're coming here? You've been talking nonstop since we got here." Blaze heard as she rolled her eyes and looked around, she started to speak.

She knew for a fact that this problem was going to have gotten worse if they didn't stand and fight. They hadn't yet gotten to that point and such a thing had bothered her more and more. No. She couldn't have worried about it for the time being. She had to have worried before she seemed to have prepared before it seemed to have gotten off hand. This was a problem that hadn't gotten where it had been. It could have gotten worse, it seemed to have been a weirder thing than before.

Blaze seemed to have been bored as she looked up at the sky, trying to disguise her fear with dishonesty. There was a lot of fear within her as she slipped the Sol Emerald through her fingers. this had only served to have been making her far more terrified, far more thrown off.

He had taken the Sol Emeralds. He had taken some of the powerful Sol emeralds which she had been tasked to guard with her life… And now they had yet gotten where they should have been for now.

There were a lot more terrible fates for if they seemed to have been, such a thing only served to become far worse, each little step slowly carrying her further and forth before it had been.

This was a nightmare, but it had become so much worse, so much more terrible that this was coming.

"Are you going to be, ok?" Sonic questioned to which Blaze turned to him and sighed before she looked around.

"Yes, I'll be ok. I'm just wondering why nothing has happened so far. There are a lot more robots in space than I expected." Blaze said while Sonic shrugged and scratched at the back of his head.

"There's a lot more robots I trashed in space than down here. Eggman kinda decided to build an amusement park in space." Sonic said while he scratched at the nape of his neck. "It's a longer story than it seems. Trust me." Sonic stated before he became tired.

"Sonic, you continue to baffle me." Sonic heard from Blaze as she tilted her head to the side. "If that's the case? Then where is Eggman? I've seen plenty of wreckage, but not him." Blaze stated before she clicked her fingers against the side of her arm.

"Well, Eggman always manages to get out of things like this, Blaze. That's kinda his thing." Sonic said before he sighed and started to tap his hands on his arms before he looked up.

There was a hum as she seemed to have been caught off guard for only a moment. It hadn't yet gotten where she had been caught up for now. There is a lot more terrifying thing here. He hadn't managed to have arrived yet. All that did was make him hurt before long.

She had yet to finally arrive mentally at Sonic's level. She seemed to have been slipping. There were a lot worse things here she supposed than just him coming. The fact that he had several of the emeralds from her.

It hurt her brain just to think about such a thing. She hadn't yet to have been prepared. She was clicking her fingers against one another. This had been a nightmare for her to handle. Whatever it came down next? Well? There were a lot worse problems.

There was only something on her mind. There was so much he could have done and dusted with it all being said and done… Such a problem was already beyond what she had said she'd have done… Yes. This day seemed as if it'd have been so out of control and lost that she didn't know much more about it than how insane it'd have been.

She looked around the horizon as the massive plains and green grass and plants seemed to soothe something within her… However? Blaze was not stupid. She was not anywhere near stupid when it came down to it. No, this paradise would be under siege sooner or later by him. The man had sent her with a warning that he'd come for Sonic's world after he was done with hers…

And she had little to no reason to believe he'd not keep his promise, little reason to not trust he'd keep his blasted promise.

"Sonic? There's something I believe you should know." Blaze said while she sighed. "I didn't come without the Sol Emeralds because I decided to leave some of them behind. They were stolen from me by another Eggman." Blaze said to which Sonic tilted his head.

"Ne…?" Sonic started to ask which was easily shut down with only a small tilt of her head and a shake of her head to the side when it came down to it.

"No, not Nega," Blaze added before she rubbed at her temples. "Another Eggman. He even called himself it. The man is a tyrant unlike yours. He came with an army of robots and laid waste to my world, raining down fire and soldiers all over the kingdom. I and the guards tried to stop him… But he decided to deal with me first inside one of his war machines." Blaze said as she gestured to her wounds.

"Then the other Sol Emeralds are gone?" Tails asked as Blaze nodded and frowned. "Another Eggman who's good enough to beat Blaze? Sonic, I don't know if we're going to be able to stop him." Tails stated as the hedgehog waved off Tails.

"Hey, if he comes here? We're giving him a butt whooping and getting the emeralds back." Sonic said as Blaze frowned and shook her head.

"Sonic? This 'EE' as he calls himself? is highly dangerous. The attack he launched on my home was coordinated." Blaze said before she sighed. "He's very arrogant, yes. However? He's very aware he's dangerous and used every single advantage that he had. This won't be some easy fight where you just blow up his robots and we win. He brought war to my home and I fully believe he intends to bring one here. Whatever warriors my world had gone into hiding to protect themselves and wait for a time to strike back." Blaze said before Sonic hummed.

The hedgehog knew that Blaze wouldn't lie about something like this which made him tilt his head and glance around. If he was so dangerous, he could have posed a threat to Blaze. Then he was honestly probably pretty powerful than before.

Still? Sonic was not simply one to back down, not simply because it was odd, but because he was a hero, it was part of his life to allow people to be free and that meant stopping Eggman.

(Within Orbit)

Eggman watched as thousands of possible robot servants all seemed to glance around, curious as to how this wasn't going to have been prepared for now. he didn't at all understand it for now. Well? He needed more and more answers and his counterpart hadn't at all seemed to say anything when it came down to it.

His counterpart leaned on a chair which quickly transformed into a massive throne, looking downwards at the ground. The chair glowed blue and white as the man looked down, several robotic tendrils unfurling from the rest of the armor. It was clear that such things had problems which allowed him to have handled them.

He didn't at all know what to do next before he sighed, looking around, too curious as to how this would have gone. It was clear the man had a very great test in his entire surroundings before he shook his head before he sighed to himself and then looked around.

"Send in Phantom Sonic, let the hedgehog know that he's going to be in a fight," EE stated before he shook his head to the side before it got over now.

He didn't know what to have focused on or what to do next. It was odd, so damn odd when it came down to it. He yawned before looking down at the man who was said to be his counterpart at the moment. It was clear to him this Eggman had not a single clue that would have gone their way. It was at least to the point where he found himself able to have relaxed. If anything? Eggman found it all to be amusing to himself and to his other version which did not grasp their genius.

It sickened him. he had no vision, no desire to be seen as emperor of his realm. Sonic should have been a blue smear by this point if this Eggman wanted to be the ruler of his entire world… Yes, if he was truly Eggman. He'd have killed Sonic constantly and made sure his entire evolving empire was able to have sustained itself. If nothing else? He'd see them gutted properly.

He'd kill them all if it had to be done the proper way. They couldn't have allowed themselves the measure of peace he had gotten before. It just couldn't have happened the way it should have.

"You haven't even tried to kill Sonic yet, have you?" The new Eggman questioned, malice and sarcasm dripping off his every word.

"You think the blue rodent is EASY to kill? He's not one to stay down. The pain outran a BLACK HOLE. You know, those things that can never be escaped due to the gravitational pull they exert on every single thing within its radius." Eggman stated with annoyance. "The blue blur isn't dead for my lack of trying, he's not dead because he REFUSES TO DIE!" Eggman roared which the other one rolled his eyes at.

"The excuses of someone who isn't overlord of an entire galaxy are pathetic, doctor. Look at my fleet, look at my resources. I've killed my Sonic ENTIRELY… Heck, I've even beaten Sonic's little kitty cat and sent her to Earth with a handful of Sol Emeralds purely to show her how badly matched she is." The new Eggman stated to which the modern one's eyes almost bulged.

"Sonic is a fun little toy to break and you've spent too long playing with yours, doctor. I've seen your defeats… And considering your last handiwork is currently floating space junk?" EE stated as he looked around the room. It was clear more than anything that was to come.

All this did was remind him that the doctor was weak. Very weak compared to him. He who had ruled his entire galaxy with a heavy fist… A very heavy-handed fist which it seemed escaped the grasp of the doctor.

Rule one of being a ruler of the cosmos? Defeat meant nothing… Yet to him? it was also clear that the doctor had let defeat define him… Pathetic for another copy of him and if he did not at all have his designs? Well, it'd all be crushed.

He'd not allow them to get away with such bluster and an insolent amount of bluster. He'd see them all ground into nothing beneath his heel and it'd be so much fun to crush them all… Yes, all he had to do was wait and see how it needed to be treated… Was the doctor looking to make him look pathetic and lowly before his empire? If so?

He'd kill him and then the doctor's friends and then any rate, they would properly focus upon such an issue as of now what to do next.

Perhaps it simply came from the idea that needed to focus upon now. EE did not come to see his template fail. Funny as it was? He was not at all willing to see it commence, it was unbecoming of an emperor like him to place such stock in the matter for now. All too much and all too little in exchange, a deposit that needed to be fully dealt with in manners that could only be done with proper leadership, leadership like HIS.

EE looked across the army who owed their existence to him and not the dunce next to him. it was all so much fun to see that even the other Eggman seemed to find them perfect, a fusion of machinery and cybernetics that won him control of armies that needed to be fixed, need to be owned by him.

Such a novel oddity for the galaxy it seemed and yet it made him laugh. They could not stop him, nobody with less power could do what he was able to. The man owned space itself and yet people did not at all bow to him? Well, he'd fix that well and well.

Author Notes

Phew. Another chapter is done! I want to point out that the next chapter will be in 2-10 months and will be 900-6500 words and will show more of Sonic and Blaze and show EE's invasion. Until then, Lighting Wolf is out!
