Welcome back to Cancelled and Enjoy
Dana walked for almost a mile after Hook had dropped her off at a dock as she now found herself at a pub. She walked in and sat down sliding a few coins at the bartender.
"What can I get you, Ma'am?" He asked as Dana pointed to a bottle of rum which he served her in a mug that she began to drink. "Bad day?"
Dana scoffed. "You won't believe what I've been through, I was just held hostage by pirates, and I lost my friends and can't even find them, so unless you have a tip on how I can find them then stop talking." She continued with her drink.
The bartender shook his head as he continued serving other patrons as the door opened and a hodded figure walked in a sat on the bar. "Hey, amigo how about a cup of Chicha extra sugar and corn." The figure said with a slight Latin accent as he paid with a few coins which were covered in sand.
"You have a bad day?" Dana questioned the figure.
"Try during all your life and being kicked out of your only home." He said before lowering his hood showing large bushy hair, his face covered in dirt and mud, and weary green eyes like he hadn't slept in years as he took his drink and sipped it with a straw. Dana looked at him closely as she felt like he saw him before.
Dana cleared her throat. "Excuse me but do I know you?" The man then spat out his drink.
"Que? You got it all wrong I'm just a nobody." He said sweat leaking from his face as he stood up ready to leave Dana looked at a wanted poster and saw the man's face with a large reward for his capture as it read WANTED ALIVE! BY ORDER OF THE QUEEN, it didn't narrow down on who specifically but Dana, she then quickly realized who she was talking to.
"You're a Madrigal aren't you." After she said those words the stranger quickly dashed out as Dana quickly tackled him. "Listen I just need..."
"Help? A look at your future? It'll end the same. You'll get a terrible rash, Your pet will suddenly die, and your hair will fall off even though you're barely in your twenties!" He yelled as Dana held his hands.
"Please, Bruno I won't be mad by the result," Dana said but he still refused until he stopped and looked into her eyes.
He then screamed "Duck!" as the two then hit the floor while an arrow struck the ground followed by the sounds of horseshoes.
"Can't believe I'm saying this but... come with me if you want to live!" Dana stayed before grabbing Bruno by the arm and running off with him as the horsemen gave chase.
"Maybe I should just turn myself in?" Bruno said while running with her as more arrows fired and nearly hit them.
"And let you be tortured or whatever? To hell with that!" Dana explained before kicking open a manhole cover and started climbing down. "What are waiting for?!"
Bruno nervously looked down. "I may live with rats but that was inside the walls of my... Ahhh!" He was cut mid-sentence as Dana pulled him in and closed the cover as several horses galloped over it.
The two started walking with Dana using her phone light to guide them. "So what exactly is your plan now?" Bruno questioned as his sandals were drenched in sewer water.
"Not sure but I'll know when I think of something," Dana replied while she walked till climbing up another manhole cover and slowly lifting it showing another different part of the town. "Come on." The two then climbed up and stood up in the middle of a street.
"Thank you for your help, guess I'll be on my way and..."
"Not so fast, I still need you to help me find my friends." Dana reminded him.
Bruno mumbled under his breath. "Why me?! I'm the bad one in my entire family! The one everyone uses as a scapegoat! Saying that my vision is wrong, incomplete, or worst of all forcing me to find another vision where it's a better one but no! It's all the same depressing fate for everyone! How do you know that I won't show them being hurt or worse? EVEN THOUGHT OF THAT!" He shouted at the tops of his lungs as large piles of sand fell out of his clothes while rats crawled on his head.
"Because even if it comes to that then at least I'll know that they're alive, 'cause they're basically my family!" Dana told him with a soft tone surprising Bruno.
He blinked a bit before going back to reality. "Ok... that was a lot to take in... but are you sure that you want to see whatever it is?" He warned her.
"Please I've been writing creepy stuff before it doesn't phase me." She said.
Burno then cleared his throat. "All right then all we need is a private area, rocks, and a pig." Dana was slightly confused by the last part but agreed to it. After a few hours of setting up everything, Dana came back holding a newly born piglet.
"Ok so now what?" Dana asked as Bruno took a stick and began drawing a circle before placing the rocks around it while covering it with sand.
"Now the pig." Dana handed it to him to which Bruno simply placed it out of the circle.
"That's it?! I went through the trouble of seeing animal birth for that!?"
"What? It sometimes gets lonely with just another person, now sit down in the circle and hold my hands," Bruno asked as Dana sat down in the sand with him and held his hands, and soon a green vortex appeared around them.
"Don't break concentration just look," Bruno said.
"I'm not."
"I was saying that to myself." He replied as soon his irises glowed. "Ok, it's a bit hard to see what's happening but it should appear any moment." Soon images began to show inside the vortex.
The images were a bit blurry but they then became clear and soon it turned into visions of dark skies, and thundering clouds, before flashing and showing a large black cauldron with an arm bursting out of it, two hands shaking one of them covered in blue flames, two ships in naval combat, a chalice being filled by a golden fountain, and a magic shield being made blocking a blast of ice and snow.
Bruno then collapsed as Dana rushed to him. "All you alright?" She asked him.
"Danger... they're all in danger..." He muttered as Dana helped him get up. "You need to find them before they make the worst mistakes in their lives." The doors of the empty house burst open several knights burst in and quickly grabbed ahold of Bruno as his eyes glowed with another vision before he shouted at Dana. "Salazar, Jones, Becket, Blackbeard... find the Spanish Armada and let the Rising Phoenix sail again before the fountain falls into terrible hands!" He yelled as he was pinned to the floor Dana ran off dodging a few arrows before hiding in an alleyway.
"Didn't think his vision would be that dark... but what did it mean?" Dana thought before she left the town her mind telling her to go somewhere as she walked down a road leading to a place similar to earth called Salem.
Bruno was led somewhere wearing a hood that covered his head. "I don't know where you brought me but you are never going to force me to..."
He was cut mid-sentence by a voice as the hood was removed. "Sorry about that but we really need your help with this really hard problem we have and I promise you that we will not cause you harm." Metora said as she wore armor and sat on her throne.
"But in all honesty you might be our only hope of saving us from extinction."
