My Iron Giant

-One Thing-

Finally!

This is the chance he had been waiting for!

Neito Monoma, the tech hero Update was requested by Hawks to go straight to one of the biggest scenes Japan has ever seen!

Copying the hHawk's quirk gave him a set of metallic jet wings that let him easily soar through the chilling air. To be honest, Neito was a little nervous. Apparently Midoriya was already there and struggling to keep these reported duplicating nomu under control. If he was having issues, then Neito could step in and finally show he could do something different, something better, make a name for himself!

Green flashes erupted on the horizon, Neito pushing himself a little faster as Hawks was right behind him.

*CLANG* The shadowy mech was highlighted by the glowing flames flowing around itself, uppercutting a titanic bat like nomu. Before it could recover a blade of the same unique energy sprung out of the giant's knuckles, killing the beast.

Neito grew closer, seeing the corpses of two more massive nomu next to Midoriya. The iron giant glanced over towards their direction, acknowledging their approach.

"We were told there was a crisis." Neito immediately explained to his classmate, hovering near the giant's head. "That you were having issues?"

"We handled it." Two voices merged together, two male voices.

"Looks like it." Hawks whistled, overlooking the scene. "Glad I don't have to confirm we don't need a nuke here."

"WHAT?!" Neito spun towards his current guardian's spot. "We came here to NUKE the place?!"

"Well, after trying to save the city of course." Hawks didn't seem to concerned at all with his spilled secret. "I was kind of thinking maybe if you and Monolith teamed up you could have gotten rid of the duplicates. Maybe even to a merge thing, like some of those other mech shows."

"...like power rangers?"

"Exactly!" Hawks snapped towards Neito, giving the cheesiest of grins like there wasn't even any serious threat of atomic annihilation.

"I don't know." Midoriya's voice echoed, glancing towards his hand. "Never tried anything like that before."

"Eh, don't sweat it." Hawks waved it off. "You got the situation taken care of already right?"

"Yes." A different voice answered. "But Kurogiri was here, we don't know where he went."

"Hmm, well that's a shame." Taking a feather to scratch his head with, Hawks looked over the city. "Oh well, not like he managed to do any significant damage this time right?"

"No." The two voices agreed in a lightened mood. "Not here anyway."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Neito asked, the iron giant looking off into the distance as if there was a silent debate in his mind. "Oh right, who's with you right now? It doesn't sound like Uraraka."

"I'm Shoto." The single voice answered, the eyes flashing an icy blue as he spoke.

"Endeavor's son?" Neito wanted to confirm, the mech twitching at the hero's name.

"Regrettably." He whispered to himself, but given how Shoto was currently in control of almost a two hundred foot mecha his voice was hardly quiet.

"Speaking of." Hawks slowly hovered towards the city with emergency lights flashing through the streets. "I'm gonna go bug the guy, see if there's anything left here. Update, I'll keep you on the update."

He laughed as he heard Neito groan from the puns.

*click* "Ok girls!" The ex hero walked over to the two teens who were patiently waiting nearby. "While I'll send you each a detailed report about what could have gone better or worse, I'd say you did a decent job."

"Decent?" Ochaco huffed. "This guy killed pro heroes. I think taking him down was-"

"He used ambush tactics." The woman cut off. "That could take out any overconfident fool, I bet you most pro heroes could have beaten him in a one on one fight in under thirty seconds if they knew he was there. But you two did have the advantage of stealth, and you screwed that up."

"Yeah, ok, but-"

"And you let the guy not just get the jump on you once, but twice when he was right in front of you!"

She was starting to get in Ochaco's face, the girl starting to see the fatal flaw in their last judgement. "Ok, but how were we supposed to know he was wearing a newtonian fluid vest?"

"Any kind of protection would pop up on thermals!" The woman took a step back, rubbing her fingers against the arches of her eyebrows as she took in a deep drink of air. "You know what, whatever. Between watching you two and hearing all of the shit that happened over at Hosu I'm done."

Testing the waters of where the woman was getting towards, Ochaco tried to probe for the information she had been dying to hear. "So, what did happen over at Hosu?"

"The tin can will explain." Was her only reply, waving towards Momo to follow her to the helicopter with Stain's body tucked in a box that was waiting for him. "But, it was big enough that it looks like the program is being cut off early. So congrats, you don't have to deal with me anymore."

"Seriously?!" Ochaco realized her happiness probably came off as really rude, so in the spirit of leaving a polite impression she gave a short bow. "Thank you for teaching me."

"Honestly, I didn't do much to teach you." Ms. Tsutsumi admitted. "I was just testing you in a bunch of things in seeing what Snipe taught you, and if you and Midoriya would pass my inspection."

That's right, the inspection. Ochaco wasn't really sure what the consequences for failing were, but she knew that they had to succeed. Honestly, looking back she should have just put up with it. Even if the woman was really pushing her towards the breaking point she was just doing her job, and Ochaco didn't try to make it easier. Oh no what if she did fail?!

"Come on." The woman spoke to her personal student, nudging her head towards the awaiting helicopter. "Your parents want you back home."

Momo, spared one last look towards Ochaco, a wavering smile sent her way. "I had a lot of fun with you, even if we were being shot at."

"Um, yeah. You too." The brunette replied, a little put off by the girl's struggle to retain her emotions. "Hold on, aren't I coming with you?"

"We've got to leave right away." Ms. Tsutsumi explained, patting her hand on Momo's rigid shoulder. "Besides, your boy toy should be here any minute. Just keep your eye out towards north for him and he'll pick you up."

The girl pouted, not taking that nickname for Izuku kindly. "He's not my boy toy."

"You sure?" The woman grinned, grabbing Ochaco's case and reaching inside for a particular scale model of his first form. "Seems like a toy to me."

Ochaco swiped her personal items away, blushing profusely over the teasing. "It's cool." She tried to defend herself, only to hear the woman almost break out into laughing.

"Alright, alright." Stepping into the vehicle, the woman gave a single finger salute. "Let Snipe know that he trained a real pain in the ass."

Ochaco didn't reply, she just waved towards them as she hoisted her suitcase and walked over to the edge of the building, looking out for her personal ride.

Momo gripped her own sniper tightly, doing her best to appear neutral. "What's the verdict?"

Kaina Tsutsumi, the Lady Nagant, stared without emotion towards the teenage girl who had constantly pushed against orders, stood by her convictions, and made superiors wish they never wanted to work with her.

Yep, she wished she had been more like her.

"There's no verdict to make." The woman moved over to the pilots seat, beginning to turn everything back on. "The whole thing got canceled remember?"

"But, she shot him!" Momo couldn't fathom it, she had been aware of her mission the entire time, hardly able to get any sleep thinking about it. "She could have easily taken him down with another paralyzing strike but she killed him!"

"That man was too stubborn to be a hostage." Running her finger over a few more switches, she reached for the headset. "I watched the entire thing, no matter what you two threw at him he just kept coming and coming. Nothing but a bullet between the eyes was going to stop him."

"What about her being under control?" Momo put on her own headset, the noise of the whirring blades silenced by the earmuffs. "About making sure there was no threat to national security?!"

"There's always a threat to them." Smirking to herself, the woman checked to make sure Ochaco was a good distance aways before lifting off the ground. "Those two are just the more recent one. Give it time and they'll be worried about something stupid like making sure America isn't going to suddenly invade."

Momo allowed herself to relax a little more, laying down her weapon and just watching the landscape glide under them. "She is dangerous though."

"No doubt about it." Tsutsumi agreed. "But that's what makes the difference between us and your typical pro hero."

"And what's that?"

"Pencil pushers get reminded about how dangerous the world is when they try to tell us what to do."

Ochaco tried checking her phone to try calling someone and seeing what had happened, but she must have forgotten to turn her phone off and now the battery was dead. Great, just great. Sitting alone on a rooftop, nothing to do but wait.

A puddle of dried blood behind her, just another silent reminder on what happened. She wondered if Izuku knew, if he was watching when she did it.

So that makes her count what, two and a monster, two and a half? Hard to say if drifting with Izuku when killing the first nomu counted as a whole kill for her or not.

Leaning forward, she rested her chin on the palm of her hand. It was hard yes but it wasn't all that uncomfortable. Her hero suit was ruined, she killed a guy, and now she was stuck alone while waiting for her ride.

Man, these internships were not as fun as she hoped for.

Ochaco caught the green speck in the distance, wondering if that was him or not. There weren't a lot of green things that flew in the sky, but it just seemed so…tiny to be him.

It was coming right towards her though, so maybe he was just really far away?

Not far enough to conceal the noise now, like a rocket she could hear the thrusters coming towards her. Standing up with her cracked helmet under one arm, her suitcase in the other, she was ready to have some nice bean bag time and get out of this sweaty….suit?

Her eyes were immensely wide seeing the armored individual hover down in front of her, only a couple feet taller than herself! "Izuk-I mean, Monolith?"

"Hey, Battle Angel Uravity."

"Hmm, hearing it outloud, I don't know if I'm gonna go with that."

"Luckily you have time to change it. You still technically haven't debuted yet."

"Right, yeah." Ochaco looked over his new form, clearly a variation of Iron Man but she couldn't quite place it. "But what's up with you? When did you learn to get smaller?!"

"All Might had another teacher, you remember the old guy at his funeral?"

"The short one?"

"Yeah, he showed up at Endeavor's agency while you were asleep and yelled at me about how I only have one real body and that my quirk was just a part of my body. So, I got rid of my 'second body'. Now all I have left is this armor which maintains my life support."

"So, an small guy taught you how to be small."

"That..yeah that's exactly how it went."

The two laughed together, finally able to have a moment to each other without someone breathing down their necks.

"So, do you want to find somewhere to change or-"

"Oh my gosh yes please!" Ochaco jumped up to him, Izuku scrambling to catch her sudden choice to jump off a roof with her gravity still intact.

A small handle came from his back, letting Ochaco rest her suitcase handle on it as it locked in place. She smiled up at his helmeted face, counting her blessings he went with the round eyes that held so many cute expressions. "Why don't we swing by a shopping place or something? It's been a long time since I could walk through a mall and actually see something I could afford out of pocket."

"Sure, I'll let Endeavor know. But I don't know how many places are going to be open given what happened in Hosu."

"Oh yeah! What did happen in Hosu?" Ochaco adjusted herself as Izuku began to lean forward to fly. He went for bridal style, seeing as how it was simply easier that way and their faces were right next to each other for conversation.

Izuku made sure to fly slow, simply gliding over the buildings at night so that he didn't have to shout for Ochaco to hear him. "There was another nomu attack."

"Seriously?" Ochaco worriedly looked back towards the city. "How big was this one?"

"Oh there were tons of them, the first ones were these skinny small ones that could duplicate themselves. They were everywhere and we had a hard time-"

Ochaco listened on, a little concerned at first by how light Izuku seemed to speak of it given the last two incidents were rough, but soon she couldn't help but feel like praising some higher power that finally gave him a break. He won, he saved people, no one in Hosu had died.

It sounded so much better than what happened for her.

"Are you ok?"

"Huh?" Ochaco realized she had zoned out, Izuku's eyes slightly shifting to show his concern. "Oh, I guess I am."

"I mean, if you're worried about any of your memories being shared to Shoto it's ok. When I asked him about it, apparently only mine were shared with him."

"No no it's not that, well I guess I would be upset if that happened, but….It's alright." Resting her head against his shoulder, Ochaco closed her eyes as the wind whipped through her hair. Flying without a helmet on was noisy, but it all could be tuned out.

Just….tune everything she didn't like out.

Endeavor stood amidst some of the clean up crew, technically no longer needing his presence but it was always good to have a hero on the scene. It was the least he could do for these people.

"Yo." Hawks fluttered to his side, checking out some of the scorch marks and uniquely shaped green ice in the area. "So, Monolith managed to pull through?"

"Yes." He didn't bother to try to convince the younger hero to go about his own business. Endeavor didn't have any will left to deny others their way of living.

"Was it your idea?"

"He handled it in his own way, which was better than anything I had ordered." His shoulders hung low, Endeavor not even bothering to keep up his intimidating persona.

"Hm." Hawks' nose wrinkled up, the younger man clearly having many thoughts he couldn't fully express. "Man this is going to be headache for the HPSC. Those two clearly aren't going to fall completely in line, but if they were this would have turned out a whole lot worse."

Endeavor just hummed to acknowledge that fact. He was technically supposed to be the current number one hero, but if his actions were followed through then they would be standing in a crater of ash and debris.

Instead, Monolith stood as the pillar when there was none to be found. Just like All Might.

"Speaking of." Hawks fluttered his wings, moving back into the air. "I don't see the kid. Word is they're going to have a big press conference about the Hosu incident in the morning, and they're going to demand he be there."

"He went shopping."

"...They make clothes for mechs?"

Izuku felt….out of place if he was honest. Here he was, in a big suit of metal standing on an escalator. Ochaco seemed to be in a similar state, wearing her tattered hero outfit with was ripped at the sleeves. Her arms were fully exposed, but it was just another thing that added to the weirdness.

Reaching the top, Ochaco took a slow step as she was in awe of all of the stores. Before, almost all of them were immediately dismissed, knowing the items inside were too expensive. Now? Nothing was off the table.

Luckily there weren't many people here, the later hours of the day on top of others being terrified about the results of Hosu all fled to their homes. The minimum wage employees though, were stuck in place if they wanted to meet their rent bills.

The two mindlessly wandered through the mall, taking in all of the different stores and thinking about what they could hold.

"Where do we start?" Ochaco numbly asked aloud.

"I don't know." Izuku admitted, his mind crowded with possibilities. So, he would prioritize. "Why don't we find something you can change into first?"

"Ah, yeah." Ochaco tugged her suit, accidentally tearing it even more. "Dang, well I guess it was going to happen eventually. How many suits do you think All Might went through?"

"Depends. While he rarely ever got a scratch on himself, he did end up going through a lot of boots and capes. Entire outfits though, I know there's at least two hundred of them circulating through private collectors with another thirty in museums."

"Wow."

So, finding the first clothing store the two cautiously entered. All sorts of fancy name brands, current fashion displayed on fancy mannequins, it was something the two weren't entirely used to.

Ochaco held up a shirt to herself, surprised to see just how well it would probably fit instead of just a random thrift store size.

Izuku…didn't bother to look.

"Are you going to find something for yourself?" Ochaco asked, not seeing many long sleeve options.

"It's not like I can wear anything."

"Oh, right."

*click*

Izuku rotated his head towards the ever so small sound, one of the employees having taken their picture and now acting like nothing happened. He dismissed it, not like a photo would hurt.

That was fifteen minutes ago, and now the mall was suddenly filling up with people despite how they close in an hour. Ochaco seemed to pay it no mind, already dressed in a sleeveless top that covered her neck and a pair of soft pants and shoes, brand new shoes that no one had worn before!

Moving towards the next store, Ochaco was currently looking at phones while Izuku watched the employees whisper to one another and pointing in their direction. Outside the store though, a crowd lingered.

Heroes didn't often go out in their suits to go shopping unless it was to be affiliated with a brand, and Izuku realized that he was still technically in his own.

"Hey Izuku?"

He turned around, Ochaco holding two different brand phones in her hand. "Which do you think is better? I heard people say these ones are easier to use and have better cameras but others say this one always has better features."

"Well what are you looking for in a phone?"

"I don't know." Ochaco stared at the two. "I never really had options beyond calling and texting."

"Hmm, maybe we can ask our club members what they think? They probably know a lot."

"No way!" Ochaco was horrified over the possibility. "It would be super embarrassing to ask the super techy people something that almost everyone knows! Besides, Hatsume would probably try making me one that would try to wash my hair and accidentally bleach it!"

True, that was a big possibility.

"You use this brand right?" Ochaco held up one of them.

"Only because we got it for free switching carriers."

"See? That's exactly the kind of thing I don't know about." She went back to the display booths, reading the specs and trying to decipher the mess for herself. "What do you use your phone for?"

"Oh, well. I used to like staying updated on hero pages, and saving pictures of new hero products and things like that. But my phone wasn't special and could do all of that, so I guess any phone would work for me."

"Guys?"

The two glanced over, seeing a rather short girl in a red hoodie with white polka dots.

"Kinoko, what are you going here?" Izuku questioned, seeing some people start to enter the shop now that someone was confident enough to directly approach them.

The girl's only response was to show a photo of them on her phone. One taken not that long ago. "My internship is in the area, and since we were done for the day I had some spare time."

"Hold on." Ochaco leaned closer to the image, studying it more closely. "Is this a fan blog for Izuku?"

Turning bright red, Kinoko hid the phone away and shuffled between her feet. "T-there's a lot of people posting about you two." She pointed towards the crowd, Ochaco and Izuku glancing up to see others no longer hiding their intentions.

"We're just doing a little shopping." Ochaco showed off her top. "My hero outfit got ripped up, and it's been so long since I've bought anything new. On top of everything that's happened today we wanted a little break."

"R-right." Not that Kinoko was entirely aware of the circumstances. But videos recorded by locals and newschoppers at Hosu showed all of the chaos that was there. "So, buying a new phone?"

"Yes, can you help please?" The girl begged, pointing towards the phones. "I've never owned a smartphone before and I have no idea which one to choose."

"Oh, alright." Kinoko forced herself to look away from Ochaco's arms. "Well, what's your budget?"

Ochaco grinned madly, scaring Kinoko for a moment but then she remembered all those plans Ochaco talked about. "I guess, if you have the money, you could get one of the holo phones."

"Holophone?"

"That's right!" The daring employee cut in, the embodiment of clean cut. "Holo phones are the next step in smart mobile technology, featuring everything a typical smartphone can do but with visual interfaces that can't be matched."

"Seriously?" Ochaco remained skeptical, having experienced the highest forms of technology first hand. "How does it compare to I-island stuff?"

"Most models are manufactured straight from there!" The man cheerfully recited. "Would you like to try one out?"

With a shrug, Ochaco accepted his invitation. "Why not."

"Splendid, if you come right this way I can get that out for you. We have to keep them locked up so-"

Kinoko watched him drone on, probably putting on his best performance given it was their most expensive product on top of how much attention the store must be getting from all the photos. Glancing to the taller guardian, she took in the level of detail that covered Izuku's frame. The gorgeous metal panels, each slotting in perfectly with one another as they easily shifted with his movements. "Are you going to get one too?"

Even if the seven foot boy's height difference, she couldn't help but feel how close he was now that he seemed a reasonable size. "I haven't really been able to use a phone since the entrance exams."

Kinoko was stunned, yet again by how much Izuku had lost when he awakened his quirk. "Is Ochaco aware?"

"Probably, I mean, she has nearly all my memories." Izuku glanced over to the girl, who seemed so focused on the mini holograms projected from the smartphone. "She knows."

Does she really? If that was the case, then couldn't Izuku use a smartphone now? Couldn't he have been using one in his cockpit area if someone offered to get it for him? Holding out some hope for those around Izuku, she delved deeper. "Can you use a smart phone?"

Izuku glanced at his hand, wiggling the metal digits along his hand. "You know, I don't really know where I would put it in my headspace when I'm bigger, but I think now I can."

"Well, that's good now right? Maybe we could look at some phones for you?" Kinoko offered, Izuku glancing towards the current selection.

Upgrading his phone…his phone. Izuku hadn't thought about his stuff in a while. Using his own phone to look something up, his own notebooks to record all sorts of cool quirks, his own limited edition hero con All Might FX light up collector's medallion year two version.

Things he could call his own, it's been a while since he felt like he could have things.

When was the last time he entered his own room?

"Izuku?" Kinoko patted his arm, the boy shaking his head as he dispelled those thoughts. "You miss home don't you?"

He….never thought about it. "How did you know?"

"You uh, shared your memories again." The smaller girl held a hand in front of her face. "There was a screen and everything. I think it was your room?"

"Watcha two talking about?" Ochaco showed up, holding a very pristine box in her metallic hands.

"I accidentally showed memories of my room."

"Speaking of which." Ochaco just reached over, placing the box in the bag Izuku had been holding for her. "What happened to your dorm room?"

"Manga turned it into a media library."

"Seriously?!" Kinoko shouted in a sudden fury. "No wonder I couldn't figure out which room he was staying in!"

Ochaco blinked, running that through her mind again. "You keep track of the student's rooms?"

"Speaking of which. Where are we going to stay tonight?" Izuku posed, Kinoko flinching at the sudden proposal until she realized he was Ochaco's ride to wherever.

"I mean, at first I thought about just going back to UA, but why don't we go to your house?" The gravity defyer offered, pushing Kinoko to the edge to where all she could do was pull at the strings of her hoodie and hide away.

*click*

Inko opened the door, and not even the fact that her child stood seven feet tall could sway her from giving him a hug. "Oh Izuku it's so good to see you!"

Squeezing his metal waist as hard as she could, Inko made sure the boy felt fully embraced in her love. Izuku wrapped his arms gently around her, making sure to not hurt his own mother. "It's good to be back."

Inko took her moment, savoring every second of it, but she knew she had another guest. Pulling half way out of the hug, Inko blinked away the threat of crying, letting Ochaco know she wasn't ignored. "It's nice to see you too. I know the last time we talked I wasn't exactly friendly but…please feel free to think of this place as your own home."

"Won't be too hard." Ochaco said in amusement. "I mean, I have all of Izuku's memories of this place in my head."

"...oh." At a loss, Inko just stepped out of the doorway to allow the two inside. Izuku looking over everything in his new perspective. The filter of the present clouding over the memories of the past.

He remembered accidentally making that rip on the couch with a steel bang from an All Might figure. His head banged against the corner a couple of times on that couch, but now his knee was taller than the piece of furniture.

"Have you two gotten anything to eat yet?" Inko asked, already going to the kitchen.

"Not recently." Ochaco admitted, sitting down on the couch and running her hand over the tear like Izuku knew he sometimes did.

"Well it is late." The mother looked through the cabinet for something. "Maybe a light snack like popcorn and-"

"-and a movie." Ochaco finished, as if she heard the offer a thousand times. Leaning over with her arm on the back of the couch, Ochaco couldn't help but see the woman that raised Izuku all these years.

Even if she was a little shocked. "Izuku?"

"Yes Mom?"

"Why don't you find a movie for us."

"Ok." Izuku walked over to the couch, slowly sitting down as it began to creak in place. He stopped, half way squatting to see if the couch wouldn't break. It didn't, so he felt comfortable enough to let himself sink back and-

*CRACK*

Both Ochaco and Izuku fell six inches, the frame of the couch breaking under his weight. "Um, I can get you a new one."

*Skssssssss*

Without being able to sleep on the bean bag from heaven, Ochaco slept a little lighter than usual. Which was why when there was a sudden noise from the living room she was aware of it. Sitting up in Izuku's old bed, All Might splayed over almost every corner of the room, Ochaco tried to reorientate her mind.

There was….some noise.

Rubbing her eyes, her hands glistened under the cracks of moonlight bleeding through the blinds. Ochaco wondered if Izuku was doing something to figure out his robo powers more.

Then she thought she heard a muffled voice through it all, and then her curiosity rose enough to spark action. One hand to stifle a yawn, and the other to ignite a small flare of plasma to light her way.

Pushing open the door, she saw the grainy white screen of the television with Izuku laying with his arms crossed on the couch. His lenses to his eyes were closed, clearly he was asleep after a week straight of staying up.

What was on the television though, was a mystery.

It was white, with black dots and lines rushing over it and some noise in the background. She could only think of it as a wave of the ocean constantly crashing against the shore.

"Mh" Izuku twitched in his sleep, Ochaco wanting to turn back to see what he did but then the television shifted with his movements.

Was he using technopathy in his sleep? Hope the TV wasn't damaged somehow-

A man, or at least a figure of a person flickered on the screen. Was it more memories? There wasn't a lot that weren't shared between them, so she wondered if this was a more recent one. Deciding to sit beside the stirring Izuku, Ochaco watched the television to see what would happen.

She didn't have to wait long, because the image flickered again to become more clear. It was black and white, in first person, a metal man emerging from a smoking crater. It was a familiar design, kind of like Izuku's first form.

The screen flickered again, noises cracking as the image was blurry. Only the smoke cleared, and she realized that Izuku was being pelted with artillery. A beam stretched out, disintegrating the distant war machines.

Did Izuku have some military exercise when she was asleep?

The scene changed again, and there was a single figure walking over a broken horizon. The vision zoomed in, narrowing on a single confident man with snow white hair in a suit.

"Greetings, destroyer of armies. What a fine quirk you have, but you seem to have trouble controlling it."

The metal giant's arm lifted, shifting into an elongated canon and blasting out a round towards the man. It ricocheted, the suited person incredibly pleased with that response.

"Oh yes, I've been waiting for a chance to experiment with some quirks for YEARS!"

Izuku jerked in place, the television suddenly switching to color as a mangled hand tried to prop the first person view up.

"What an intriguing piece of machinery you are." The footsteps of the mystery man grew closer to the screen. "No quirk to find, so you are clearly designed by some intelligence, yet in the turmoil of the world ripping itself apart no country claims you. I doubt they even had the resources to make something like you."

Pieces scattered along the ground began to move closer to the hand, digits connecting back to their sockets.

"You are even capable of self repair. If only I could have found a way to contain you."

The vision shakily turned towards the ground, a puddle reflecting something powerful, a green orb in a metal cage. It grew brighter, the noise building up as power thrummed vibrantly on the screen.

It exploded into symbols, ones she knew but no one knew the origin of.

"¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°"

Faster and faster they went, the couch and television shook with each and every one that went by. Ochaco clenched the edges of the cushion she was on, knowing something was coming but unsure how to brace for it. Everything screamed danger, get out-

RUN.

The screen blasted white, Ochaco leaping up on her feet with her fists in front of her. Her head snapped in all directions, until it saw Izuku upright on the couch. One arm was clenched on the back cushion, breaking into the surface of it with his other arm held forward.

The barrel of his forearm was steaming, a dangerous glow building up in it. His eyes were pinpricks, angry red as they stared towards the silent TV.

"Izuku?" A small voice asked from behind, the boy whipping around to aim his gun at her.

"IZUKU NO!" Ochaco grabbed his arm, using all the force she could muster in her own to slam his weapon down. "STAND DOWN THAT'S AN ORDER!"

She commands he obeys.

He stopped fighting Ochaco, letting his arm down as his weapons began to cool off. They stood absolutely still, not wanting to set the boy off.

Slowly, his eyes filled with green until they were full. Once the light touched the edges of his lenses, he was suddenly filled with life.

"Mom? Ochaco what, what's going on?"

Another chapter done, and we're so close to the end I'm going to try sprinting to the finish line.

A little random moment before we get back into the swing of things. Next, we'll be at UA talking about final exams.

Any questions, comments, or jokes are welcomed. As long as they're funny.

Animeguy1101: So his meeting with Gran Torino is where he managed to figure it out. I expounded a little more in this chapter but if it's still a little confusing feel free to reach out in PM's.

Austin: That would be fun to think about some tech religion worshiping mecha Izuku. As for rust attacks, yes I do believe they would deal some damage against Mechadoriya. Animal mechs, Izuku hasn't turned into anything like that.

Harleking31: If I had an electric guitar I would totally play along with that, but you'll have to settle for my acoustic and a kazoo.

Planar-Walking-Entertainment: Basically, Izuku offered to use Shoto's quirk for him in a super steroid version.

Mariano Muoz: It looks like chapter 47 is gonna be a blast for you.
