Darcy and Lizzy woke up lazily as the noise from the outside could no longer be ignored.

Darcy was now a man on a mission to impregnate Lizzy and he couldn't help himself. He was sure he had already expended billions of sperm inside her and it was only a matter of time before one lucky sperm finally managed to breach her defences.

"It will take some time," Lizzy cautioned. "My body will have to adjust to a pill-free reality." She thought it would at least be several months before she would be able to conceive. That would give her some time to adjust and plan for a Darcy baby.

"Yes, but there's no time like the present to try and try," as he started kissing her, "and try and try again and again and again." Will was hornier than ever.

"Come, we have to at least say farewell to our guests," she tried to distract him.

Darcy kissed her before reluctantly letting her go "But you can still feel me inside you" as he remembered his most recent effort.

She just shook her head and threw a pillow at him so she could get up. She wore a bikini underneath her linen dress.

The couple joined Charles and Jane to have breakfast. Junior was with Fanny and Maddy while James, Ted and Ines Rose were dive bombing the pool and were the cause of the ruckus. John and Ed had gone for a walk. The rest were still asleep.

Charles looked at Darcy's happiness and grinned, "This time last year you were morose and single. I suppose you'll be joining the club of smug marrieds soon."

Darcy shook his head, "That's up to Lizzy."

Lizzy arched her eyebrow, "Your proposal was shocking therefore the refusal equally so."

Darcy countered, "Technically you didn't refuse."

Lizzy shook her head "Technically yours did not count as a proper proposal in my book."

Darcy said "It counted in mine."

Charles and Jane just both shook their heads in unison. These two could be so difficult at times!

Jane spoke up first, "We have to leave after lunch with Mary and Kate."

Lizzy nodded. Saying goodbyes were always difficult. "I'll see you in Sydney. We'll be heading back tonight after Bruce returns."

"It's been a wonderful weekend," said Darcy. "Thanks for coming."

It was always nice to reunite with the Bennet family, thought Charles.

"You're of course invited to the second Bingley Cup." Charles said, "This time, you can bring Lizzy and James along in your chopper."

Darcy grinned.

The rest of the sleepyheads finally awoke. Lydia had decided to stay that week with Al and the Gardiner Kellys as long as Georgie didn't mind. The Londoners wanted time to relax before heading home. John and Fanny decided to stay longer until the Gardiner Kellys left - as long as Georgie didn't mind either.

Georgie was quite glad to be part of a larger family unit with people she was comfortable with. She didn't mind at all. And if things got too busy she'd return to Bali but she enjoyed Fanny's company and she didn't mind getting to know Maddy's family either. Lizzy liked her tante and she was sure she'd like her too.

Darcy got out the joint cake for Lizzy and James and everyone sang happy birthday. James got the bulk of his presents that day. He was awed by Byron. He even had his own house. His dad was pretty impressive, he thought. He had horses here too. Then he wondered, will he have to choose between Gloucester and Byron now? This was all very confusing. There were too many places to choose from!

After lunch and cake, the Bingleys and Mary and Kate made their farewells. It was more emotional for them to say farewell to the Gardiner Kellys as they rarely saw them and they didn't know when they would meet again.

Darcy and Lizzy thought they could squeeze in a quick ride to the beach but seeing how everyone who was left was a bit downcast as the weekend was coming to a close, they decided to join the others at the pool.

Darcy quickly reminisced the last time they were in the pool together and hugged Lizzy tighter.

"Stop it," Lizzy whispered, "they'll notice."

"What will they notice?" asked Darcy as he started kissing her neck.

She indicated that Georgie had averted her face already. Darcy laughed.

Lizzy decided to take off her dress and swim and dive into the pool to join Lydia and Al at the waterfall.

Darcy watched her swim as he struggled with his self-control. Then thought, fuck it, and joined them. This time he hugged Lizzy and placed her in front of him so she could feel his erection jutting against her back.

Lydia and Al noticed the amorous displays of Lizzy and Darcy and decided to move far, far away from the waterfall.

"This is our spot, you know." He said.

Lizzy just smiled. "Yes, because everyone else has left us!"

He turned her and kissed her deeply. "Tonight," he said, "when we're back in Sydney."

She nodded and kissed him back "Now, down boy, down."

After several minutes, Darcy managed to think about paperwork and his ardour was finally cooled.

"We have to think about packing up soon," he said, "and for you to make your goodbyes."

She nodded sadly at the thought of not seeing Al and the Gardiner Kellys for awhile.

"Thanks for coming Al" Lizzy said as she farewelled her friend. "I will miss you."

"Now now Lizzy-Lizzy, we'll see each other again soon." He said and gave her a big hug as she started becoming teary.

His presence with the Gardiner Kellys made her birthday weekend so special.

Lizzy moved on to her tante Maddy and she allowed her bittersweet tears of sadness and joy to fall "Thank you for attending tante - I will miss you all!"

"Cherie, we'll see each other again soon. D'accord? "

Lizzy nodded. And hugged the rest of the Gardiner Kellys. She then made her goodbyes to Georgie, Lydia, Fanny and John.

Darcy's hand held on to hers tightly as they made their way to his car.

James was going to stay with them at the new home for the entire week while John and Fanny remained at Byron. That was the upside to these arrangements she thought.

"Are you happy?" asked Darcy.

"Yes, it's just saying goodbye to people I love is so very difficult," she said.

Darcy knew the feeling. When she left him at Pemberley, his heart had broke.

"I know." Then hugged her tight.

They farewelled Byron and Ballina and arrived in Sydney that evening. They soon arrived home and promptly went to sleep. The trio were exhausted by the events of the last 48 hours. It had been exhausting, but memorable.
