Harry pulled on his teaching robes looking at the Queen size bed, appreciating what he saw there.
Draco lay naked, on his belly, only covered by a white silk sheet at his waist, hiding the perfect ass beneath it, arms wrapped around Harrys pillow, snoring quietly.
The sight made his breath hitch. In this small moment, he knew that every mistake, every choice he made that led him here, was worth it.
This may have started as a drunken one night stand, but it turned into so much more. He had no idea his heart could be so full at one time. That as imperfect as his life was, it was some how simultaneously still perfect.
Harry clasped the button at the top on his black robes and moved towards the bed, memories flooding back from last night. Harry had been in the study, finishing his lesson plans for the week. He hadn't even heard Draco come in and shut the door. It wasn't until slender fingers slid across his neck and throat into his shirt onto his chest did he notice the man. Draco had scared the shit out of him.
Harry had noticed that Draco looked almost predatory. Draco had pulled Harry's chair out, with a spell banished their clothes, crawled into his lap and rode him until they were both satisfied and sweaty. It had been the first time since Draco's arrest they had been intimate and it had caught Harry off guard.
Harry had taken Draco to bed after and rubbed every inch of his body, kissing the pale skin after his hands left the area. Then they made love. Took their time to appreciate each other as mush as possible. Harry wasn't sure what had flipped Draco into being that comfortable, but he was happy to see the progress.
Harry bent down and ran a hand up the pale back, smiling as Draco stirred. "I'm heading into school. I'll be back after dinner is done." Harry leaned in and kissed Draco's forehead. "I love you."
Harry had decided to take up Minerva's offer on a few conditions. He was allowed to find a flat in Hogsmead so that Draco could work his bakery, and Harry could come home every night. That Draco could come to school on nights he had to do rounds and stay late. Either Draco could walk with him or her could sit in Harrys office and read until he was done.
Draco didn't like being far from anyone for too long. Luna and Blaise filled in a lot when Harry was busy and had to focus on his own work.
The final condition, was Harry didn't work weekends unless it was necessary. Instead, weekends were spent with Draco in the bakery watching the man flourish.
"I love you too. Have a good day at work. " Draco blinked up at Harry stretching. "Make sure to give Slytherins extra house points today."
Harry laughed kissing the man's lips. "Anything for you. See you after dinner." Harry headed to the floo, a smile tugging at his lips. A new place to live, a new job, new friends, engaged... none of it had been part of the expectations... and that made it all so much better.
