November 8th 20XX

Stylus is at the park in the dead of night, he checks the sky every now and then. "Hmmm...can't really tell when the park lights are off at midnight." He's got a lantern to find the forest area. As he progress, he sees some Babuts and Owgulfs flying out of the forest. "Odd? They usually don't leave until sunrise..." He gets a little nervous as he goes deeper into the forest. He reached the split path and heads off to the completely restricted area.

Stylus has arrived at the old shrine, where the black diamond is...or it was. He looks up and sees the much darker clouds. "Not good...better check on that shrine and hopefully that diamond is still in there..." he said as he look inside the shrine, and just what he feared off...

...Nothing's inside it...

"Oh no...she didn't..." He then looks up again and sees the clouds are almost complete black and hears some thunder in them. He immediately leaves the shrine area. "This ain't good...it's about to start. I need to find cover, fast!" He said. Stylus got out of the forest area and looks around. "Come on, come on. Where's cover where I need it." He didn't have much time as the black clouds are coming out, he then had an idea. "The playground area! There's a tool shed in near that area!" Stylus quickly flies to the playground area, where there's what you see in an average playground, some swing sets, slides, a merry-go-round, a sandbox, etc.

Stylus spotted the tool shed. "There it is, it'll protect me from that dark storm!" He goes to it and noticed the door is closed and it gets jammed occasionally. He push as much as he can. "Darn that door keep getting jammed" A little frustrated but he eventually got it open by ramming into it, as soon as he's inside, he quickly closed the door. He then took a breather and looks through the window, he can still hear the thunder from in here. He then worries about his wife and daughter.

"Quilt...Elline...please be safe..."

It won't be long until the sky is completely covered in pitch black clouds, thunder was heard from left and right, and then...it's started raining. However, this is no ordinary rain as the raindrops are black.

Quilt is at the basement where it also usually her workplace, stitching up some patterns on her recently finished quilt, she can hear the thunder from the basement window. She finds it odd as it wasn't supposed to be a storm during the night, but she just shrugs it off. "Weird weather we're having." She saids as she looks at the window where, or at least what she first saw, was a shadowy figure. She then look away from the window and quickly look at it again after realizing what was there, but the figure is nowhere in sight.

She shakes her head. "Ugh...I think I'm seeing things again..."

Despite what's going on outside, Elline is sleeping peacefully, she started dreaming of her and Kirby drinking a rainbow parfait together with a green biscuit on top. It wasn't long until Kirby inhales what is left of the parfait. He then lets out the green biscuit, which made Elline giggled, even in her sleep.

Even though she is having a nice and maybe romantic dream, she doesn't hear the storm and the rain, even completely unaware that she's being watched by the shadowy figure. A evil feminine giggle is heard.

It has been raining for pretty much the whole night, black puddles are everywhere outside, eventually, they started bubbling, like it's something that going to come out of it.

When morning hits, the black clouds were gone, at least for now. Elline wakes up and stretched out her wings, she looks through her window and sees puddles everywhere. "Whoa...that storm was happening all night? Why are the puddles look like that?" She said and thinking what's going on. She goes down the stairs and sees her mother, sleeping on the couch like usual, but she hasn't seen her father yet. "Mum, where's dad?" She asked, but Quilt is just snoozing it out. Elline then sees the bubble from Quilt's non-existed nose and pops it. That caused her to wake up. "Huh...where's what?" she said in a drowsy tone. "Dad, have you seen him this morning?" Elline asked. Her mother yawns and said, "Haven't seen him during the storm".

Elline is starting to get worried until she hear a phone ringing. "Could you go get that, dear?" Quilt said and nods off again. Elline goes to the phone and picks it up. "Hello? Who's this?" She then hears a familiar voice.

"Well, looks like you doing fine." Elline then knew it was her sculptress friend. "Oh! Claycia, good time to call me, there's been a big storm last night and-* Clayica cuts her off. "Yeah, that's what I want to talk to you about it." "Wait...how do you know? You're at Seventopia right now, how can you see the storm?" Elline question and Claycia answered. "Palettenet & Seventopia aren't that far way from each other, so I can see what's happening from here. Those were the thickest clouds I've ever seen."

Elline is now getting even more worried. "Elline, it's something wrong?" Claycia said. It took her a few seconds to answer back. "Well, I haven't seen my dad when the storm is happening and I'm getting worried that something happened to him...". "Hmm...that can't be good." said Claycia. It wasn't long until Elline hears banging on her front door. "What was that?" She said and looks through a window and sees a black Golem, and it looks menacing. "Wh-What is that?!" Elline freaked out, likely because she has never seen a Golem before.

"Okay, there's something ain't right here. I've never seen that thing before!" She panicked. "Calm down, I'll be there ASAP, I'll get the Cottas to get the Bastron ready. I'll see you there." Claycia said. "Alright, please hurry." Elline hangs up the phone. "She repaired the Bastron again? I thought it was destroyed for good."

She hears more banging from the Golem, Quilt is getting annoyed by the banging and covers her ears while sleeping. "Would you keep it down. Someone answer the door already." "Mum, I don't think you'll like our 'guest' at the door." Quilt opens one of her eyes. "Why, it better not be one of those Tick-Tocks again." "I don't think that's the case, but you gotta go to the basement, I'll sort this out." Elline said. Quilt yawns once more. "Fine, I'll go down there." She does so and goes towards the basement. Elline noticed the front door isn't going to hold much longer and quickly flies to the backyard and sees some Barampas coming out of nearby puddles. "Just a few Barampas, I think I can take them. I hope Jammy & Verde are doing alright." She turns into her Paintbrush form to repel off the Barampas.

Things aren't going well for the both of them. Jammy is using her paintball gun at a Yariko, a Venog & a Grandy. "Where are they coming from?!" She said as she ran out of paintballs for her to shoot and she doesn't have time too reload. "This ain't good." She then gets pulled back by Vegemite and closed the door and jams it with a nightstick. "That'll keep those rodents from coming in." Vegemite said. Jammy recognizes the nightstick. "Mum...that's-" Her mother interrupts. "I know...but it's working". She holds onto Jammy real tight while Jammy has a little sorrow look when she sees the nightstick.

Verde is flying away from a Bowby & a Yaban, both bow-related enemies. It wasn't long until he gets cornered by them. "P-Please, don't hurt me!" Verde panics as the enemies are about to take aim at him. "Don't you dare hurt my little brother!" Verde's older sister, Clover came with bow and arrows of her own. She takes aim and got both the Bowby & the Yaban with two arrows at once. "Clover!" Verde is relieved. "I'm here, Verde. My archery classes are paying off." Clover said. "I still need to practice my archery." Verde said. Just then, a Clanksprout pops out from behind, it stares at them while Verde is hiding behind Clover. "This might take a while." Clover said a bit nervously.

Back to Elline, she keeps swatting away the enemies until she gets out of her Paintbrush from due to exhaustion. "Can't...keep up...gotta get...out of dodge..." She flies away from the enemies, that is until she sees the Golem from before. "Oh no...that thing again!" She saids and covers her mouth when she said it out loud, catching the Golem's attention. It's start going towards her. "S-Stay away from me! I'm warning you!" She said, but the Golem isn't listening and it's about to lunge at her.

But as it about to lunged at Elline, a cannonball was heard and got the Golem, knocking it out in the process. Elline looks up and sees the Bastron is coming to a land. Inside is Claycia and an army of Cottas. "Preparing for landing, master Claycia!" The pilot Cotta shouts. "Good, set the troops up ready. We got ourselves a little cleaning up to do." Claycia said as she looks through a window.

The Bastron lands and out comes Claycia and her army of Cottas. She sees the enemies and yells, "Go get em'! We cannot let them do anymore damage to this planet!" The Cottas start charging at the enemies, pretty much every type of Cotta is seen, even Claycia joins in by making & throwing clay balls at the bigger enemies.

"Claycia!" Elline shouts and waves at her, getting Claycia's attention. She then goes towards Elline. "Looks like you're safe and sound." "Not really. I have to fend off some Barampas by myself. I couldn't stay in my Paintbrush form forever, you know." Elline said. "I see. Any luck on finding your father?" Claycia asked, but Elline shakes her head. "I haven't..." "Well, we got to find him before-" a loud thunder clap was heard, shocking both for what they just heard.

They both see where it came from and there they see it...the Black Diamond.

A Cotta General and 2 Spear Cotta Knights intercept with it. "Master Claycia! Miss Elline! We'll handle this!" The general yelled and charged at the diamond.

But before they do, the Black Diamond let out a feminine giggle and lets out a vicious black lightning bolt at them, not only shocking them...but they're also turned into complete black stone!

Both girls are in complete shock for the Black Diamond just did to the Cottas. They later heard...

Feel the obsidian...

They don't know what's going on. "GIRLS! Get away from that!" They both see Stylus at a distance. "Dad!" Elline shouts back. They both took off, the Black Diamond watches them leave.

Elline & Stylus embraced each other tightly. "Thank the stars that you're alright." "Where were you this whole time?" Claycia asked. Stylus is looking at her. "I was hiding in the tool shed all night. Have to even sleep in there while the storm is happening" Claycia gave him a blank stare. "I'm not going to question that." Elline then spoke up. "Dad...do you know about that...diamond?"

Stylus gave his daughter a concern look, then to Claycia. "I've heard about it, that's the Black Diamond. A very dangerous one. It was well know by covering planets with a complete and utter eclipse, making the planets to be completely camouflage in space. Palattenet was its next victim until it was eventually got taken down by a warrior called the Aeon Hero. Once he took it out, he then created a shrine and sealed it away. Many of us want to know what the Black Diamond true form is, but before we do, he's been sealed away due to his immense power, so we never really got an answer from him. Before you were born, Elline, I do know the whereabouts of that shrine. It was still sealed up when I first saw it, though I do feel a dark aura around the shrine. Unfortunately, a bunch of skull-like enemies & their leader, who has a huge thing against the light, arrived by not only the shrine, but the planet as well. The skulls did enough damage to the shrine that it caused a hole appear. They later left until the leader discovers that there's a planet called Popstar, being known as the brightest star in space. Once the group is completely gone, I at least got a chance to get a good look at that diamond, I again feel the dark aura, it did feel a bit stronger, it's probably that I got a bit too close to it, even by means touching could trigger something. I chose not to go and attempt to touch it, and boy was I glad I didn't do that, because doing that would be enough to gets its strength back, but not fully."

"But now that the Black Diamond is out of the shrine, it won't be long until it fully regains its strength." Stylus said. "Whoa...that's a lot to take in." Claycia said. "It really is. Now the Aeon Hero has been sealed away, there's no way we can take the Black Diamond out" Stylus replied. He then hears Elline started crying because she was responsible for touching something that she shouldn't.

"Elline...please don't cry..." Stylus said. "It's all my fault! I made our home planet in complete danger...!" Elline continues crying. Stylus is trying to calm her down. "Sweetie...I know you didn't mean too... I should've placed like a sealed tower or something, but I don't have the resources to make it."

He can still his little girl crying, he's trying everything he can to stop her crying. Claycia is going through the backstory that Stylus explained and she asked him this. "That skull leader that you mentioned, was he happened to be unsuccessful in Popstar?" "I believe so. The planet is still up there to this day." "Okay, but do you know who defeated him? We might know who can able to defeat that diamond." Claycia said. The discussion is getting Elline to at least stop crying. "It's a star warrior named Kirby." When he said that name, it caused Elline to jumped out of her father's hug. "Kirby! He's a well known star warrior! He can help us!"

Stylus isn't too sure about this and looks at Claycia. "Kirby, along with Elline and others have defeated Dark Crafter after he possessed me, it was a major effort that he was able to pull it off. If he can beat Dark Crafter and that skull leader you mentioned, I believe he'll be able to defeat the Black Diamond." she said in a confident mood.

Stylus is still unsure about it. "Dear, are you really sure that he can get the job done?" "I believe in him, dad. I know he can do this. ...plus..." Elline is started too blush a bit. "I really want to see his him again~ I like looking at his cute eyes and smile~ Teehee~"

Stylus looks at Claycia then back to Elline and smiles. "Very well, I shall believe you, sweetie." "It has been settled. I'll get the portal ready." Claycia said as she starts creating a portal. But as she does it, the Black Diamond noticed what's up and start creating some black clouds. Both Stylus & Elline see the diamond's actions, as Claycia has created the portal to Popstar, Dreamland specifically.

"All ready to go." Claycia said. But as soon as she said it's done, the black clouds are going towards & entered the portal. "No! Those clouds are going to cause havoc in Dreamland!" Elline panicked. "And I need to be around to keep the portal open. You have to go there on your own, Elline." Claycia said. Elline looks at her father and nods at her and she nods back. "You got it, Claycia. I'll be back with Kirby as soon as I can! And maybe if I can get Bandanna Dee as well." "We need all the help we can get. Good luck, Elline." Stylus said as he kissed his daughter's forehead. "I will, dad~ By the way, mum is safe in the basement." "Good to know, dear."

Elline is entering the portal that takes her to Dreamland. She can see the black clouds at a distance. "I'm coming, Kirby. I'm going to need your help again...and maybe..." She blushes a little, but quickly shakes it off and continues on flying to Dreamland.
