Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Spark of force. Enjoy the 4700-word story. I don't own Star Wars, Disney and a few others do.

Meetra forced Dooku backward, blocking a saber strike that would have decapitated her if she had been a lesser warrior, she tossed him with a force push which threw him across the room. She turned to block one of the droids which almost struck her in the back. She hadn't yet gotten her bearings… But she most certainly was able to have the ability to fend off a few monsters and whatever this man had brought.

Wesset was forced to follow her in her dance of death. This hadn't yet gotten where it seemed to have been. She was far too powerful when it came to how she could have been defending herself.

He expected Dooku had brought so much backup purely to deal with both Revan and Meetra as it was about wiping them out. It had been overkilling him…. But he suspected that she was simply that powerful and it had all been something he couldn't have been horrible if she hadn't expected.

They needed Jedi like her, they needed her for far longer than it should have been. They had something else on the line if it got where it should have been. Still? He was up to the challenge, if only because of the fact she was powerful.

This hadn't yet to have been how the count expected it to have gone considering he seemed to have been pushed back for a while… How this could have been something new what it was all over for now.

This was so chaotic for now. It hadn't gotten off the ground yet, but it had been the way it should have been.

Meetra forced her blade behind her before she looked at her friend, there was silence as now before it came down to it and all of it. There was such a measure of silence as the woman sent them packing with a simple force push.

"You're going to need more than machines to defeat me, Count," Meetra stated to which Dooku chuckled.

"Ah, there's the skill and grace I expected from the apprentice of Revan," Dooku stated to which she seemed to have been quiet for the time being.

"All the skill, yet none of the patience and power of what I expect," Meetra said as Dooku snorted, too thrown off by this mere boast to have let it bug her for more than it should have been.

Yes, today seemed to call for such an odd little topic, one he couldn't have foreseen nor wished for. It just wouldn't have worked the way he wished it would have and that hurt a lot worse than it should have. Yes, this should have been a problem when it comes down to it.

A lot worse things were coming, something he couldn't have prepared for a while. It should have been something for her to have thought about when it came down to it. There were a lot more problems when it seemed to have been a problem.

Meetra turned and ducked under the next strike that might have decapitated her as she sliced the legs off the droid. It shattered onto the ground before it brought her weapon through the core of the droid. The machine shattered into the ground and started to break into pieces.

And then it proceeded to have tried to pick itself off the ground. Meetra watched as Wesset decapitated the machine on the side.

"Are you going to be, ok?" Wesset asked as the two Jedi were forced back-to-back. "He's a very dangerous man. Trust me, so are these droids, their Jedi killers." Wesset stated before he clicked his tongue against the roof of his head.

"So, they're like the assassin droids from years ago," Meetra said before she slammed her saber into Dooku's and forced him backward. "If Master Revan can sense me as I sense him? He'll be coming." Meetra stated to which she seemed to have found it more amusing.

There were a lot more problems when it came down to it. This game hadn't yet seemed to have been a problem that it should have been a problem. This hadn't yet gotten where it should have been. No, this wasn't over anytime soon, it had merely started to fall apart.

"Ah, good. Bait the trap. You I need, Ms. Surik. Your friend can be left here to rot among the palace where my master seeks to claim another day." Dooku stated to which he chuckled.

"You talk far too much, count. Far too much when it comes down to it." Meetra said before she charged forwards, waiting for the man to have made a mistake.

Meetra seemed to be waiting for him to make said mistake. She hadn't yet seemed to have a plan on her mind, however. Not yet, no, that would have come later when this all fell by the wayside.

(With Revan)

Revan was all too eager to chop through droids left and right, not purely out of anger, no. this was merely a test of his skill to him, a pure reaction to how well, for now, had been how well he had not lost his edge. The droids fell like pieces of trash as his trademark purple saber cut them into pieces left and right, it was all too eager, all too much of a show when it came down to it.

There were a lot more problems to have done, so much more he could have done. All too much of a thing for now and too much to have done with so much more on the line when all of this was said and done before it came down to it the time.

She could tell she had so much to have questioned when it was all said and when it was all time to have prepared for now. He didn't seem to have done it at the second.

"You're not going to win so easily. I know what's going to have prepared." Meetra said while she raised her weapon towards her enemy.

"Ah… I sense…" Count Dooku stated before he turned to see a force push that had thrown him into the wall. "Ah… Master Revan." Dooku said before he sighed as Wesset blinked.

In the flash of an eye? 2 of the droids were thrown out one of the painted glass windows and another had been bisected by the man in question. the masked man held his sabers up before lunging forwards.

"Hello, Metra, it's nice to see you again." The man spoke, turning as Meetra held the last droid in place before it was bisected by Wesset. "I see you've met a friend. Nice. You're making new friends." The man stated before he clicked his fingers.

"You're holding back by a lot more than I expect…." Revan heard before he kicked the man to the ground and dodged a strike.

"And you are far weaker than the emperor… Meaning you aren't the Sith I fought before." Revan stated before he flung Dooku along the ground with the force. "If you wished to go after me and my apprentice? I'd say your window has closed… I noticed at least 4 cruisers besieging your fleet and most of your droids seem to have been routed." Revan stated before Dooku stayed silent and chuckled.

"Indeed, I had intended to bring my full power against you… But with my droids engaged? Well, perhaps my master was all correct." Dooku said before he sent a holodisk flying from his robes. "My master has a proposition for you… If you accept it? I'll be happy to welcome you to our ranks. If not? I'll make sure to dispose of you for my master, Lord Revan. He does not take people turning down his offers properly." Dooku said to which Revan sent it flying with two fingers.

"I will not care who it is as long as they are Sith… Now, from what I heard of Master Windu? You are a Sith… And that crimson blade proves it." Revan said before Dooku sighed and leaped back into the shadows. "Fine then. A coward and a Sith. He wasn't here for much of a fight and I suspect darker work was at play." Revan said as he turned off his lightsabers.

"Master Revan, I thought you'd been captured or killed." Revan heard as he turned to look at Meetra before he shook his head.

"If it was so easy to kill me, Meetra? There would be no war to have won or lost." Revan said as he turned and slowly walked toward the two Jedi. "It is nice to see you, Wesset," Revan stated before Wesset bowed.

"Nice to see the prodigal knight himself in all his glory." Revan heard as he shrugged before looking at where Dooku had gone, too interested in what the man had left. "I don't think he's coming back, Master Revan. You are far too powerful for Dooku to defeat in combat, let alone against all of us at the same time." Revan heard as he sighed and waved his hand back and forth.

"We're not done here yet. Not with the Sith. I'm sure he'll pop up, but it seems like we're going to need…" Revan started to say before one of the clones slowly started to think.

"Generals? We've got a transport incoming, said it will take us to another cruiser until we get out of here." The clone stated to which all of the group shared a look, for now, it hadn't yet seemed to have been something they could have done for the time being.

They knew more than anything that this problem wouldn't have just died out… Revan looked around the room as if questioning what he had gotten into, it was clear these were Jedi, any fool who had held a saber could tell that which to him? Well, it told him more or less what to have expected for now. This was still far more than he could handle.

"Meetra, this Jedi has been helping you the entire duration?" Revan asked to which there was a nod and he slowly started to look at the Jedi in question.

"Good, then we're going to be traveling with them. We're be explained what happened along the way, I suppose?" Meetra questioned as he tilted his head, not sure at all what was going to have happened for now. "We're going to need all the people we can find," Revan stated to which the others all shared looks.

"If I'm right? All this tells me this will be the longest trip around the city we can find someone, and go from there… We don't have to fight each other." Wesset stated to which Mace rolled his eyes.

"Young Knight? We are simply taking Revan and Meetra back to Coruscant for a few questions and to bring them up to speed, we both know that if Count Dooku has gone after them? Then it will not be much longer before the rest of the Confederacy finds out and launches a massive assault to kill or capture them." Mace added to which Wesset sighed.

He knew more than anything there were going to have been problems, there were always problems with their missions, and the next time he opened their mind there would be problems, every single little thing seemed to have revolved around their damn problems which just ticked him off more and more when it came down to it.

He hadn't yet seemed to have grasped why this had been worse for them. They had bigger fish to fry before this all came crashing down and he knew it more than them… He knew it damn well when push came to shove.

Still? There was so much more to this than he assumed there was. This hadn't even scraped the surface for them and it wouldn't be anywhere close to the surface anytime soon.

"I'm sure we will have many questions to discuss when we escape, but for now? I'd much rather see us escape and get to where we can relax. Then we can focus on something as trivial as details like the past." Revan said as he shook his head.

"Master Jedi? I'd see you on your cruiser when we arrive, I assume there will be some problems reaching there, though." Revan stated to which Wesset and the other Jedi all shared looks at one another as they seemed to try and wrap their heads around what had been leveled at them.

"We're going to handle it the best way we can. Anything else and there will be chaos." Wesset stated before he frowned. "Should we make sure the shuttle zone isn't compromised? Dooku has to have more droids here. He wouldn't have simply given up because we managed to fight back. He's one of the best duelists who used to be in the order." Wesset stated to which Mace frowned.

True words were spoken today and he hated it all. Dooku was a skilled warrior and a powerful tactician when it came down to it. if anything? All he had done was proven he had a plan in the works to get what he wanted. He wanted something to have to focus on when it was all over for now.

"There's a lot more to have to question what to do next," Meetra questioned before he shook his head.

"Sir? We need the fleet ready for now. There's going to be more reinforcements, but we need to make sure that we get going sooner or later." The Clone stated to which he nodded before he shook his head and then looked down at the base.

There were a few seconds of silence as the group exited the building while all of them started to slowly share looks.

"If we can escape, we should do so while the Count's forces are still focused here. Then we can slowly creep forward and relax on the cruiser." Revan stated before they charged forwards.

They could see that more Vulture Droids had joined the battle but between the turbolasers which seemed to be dicing up several judging by the flaming dots in the sky and the fact that there were more Republic fighters? Meetra and Revan assumed the battle in orbit was going better than the one down here for the time being and they all seemed to have known it.

"We've put a dent in their defenses for the moment, Dooku never did seem to have put together something for if we escaped," Meetra stated to which there was no real response.

"Your find he's as insidious as he is clever, Meetra. He's one of the most powerful Sith in the galaxy now." Wesset stated to the others before he shook his head before he sighed to himself before he shook his head. "We don't know what is going to happen when it comes down to it," Wesset stated before he shook his head.

He didn't know what the hell was going on. he didn't understand the mechanics of such an odd little thing, however. He was too scared for her life, too unsure of what would happen should he decide to just back down. Had he been too consumed by such a little thing that he found himself staring into the eyes of death itself?

"What is the Republic like?" Meetra asked to which Wesset found himself silent.

"In a state of a thousand scabbling voices all seeming to fight for control and such," Wesset stated before he frowned as a shuttle slowly started to fly down towards them.

It was clear to him that several Centuries of war were not easy to explain to a woman who had been in and out of it so easy. They had a special thing to explain, something that he could barely seem to fathom or repeat. It just wasn't the same for him to explain.

"Then things beyond our control had still been present… Ugh, this will not be as good." Meetra explained as the sound of engines alerted them to an NU-Class Attack shuttle, the same one that had taken them to this planet.

Perhaps it was fate, perhaps it was something that he didn't at all understand for the time being. The will of the force was a fickle thing, for now, to have to ponder now and he didn't much care to ponder it at all when push came to shove at the end of the day.

"Can we please get this on the road when we don't have a cruiser full of people fighting off for now? This is a terrible thing to consider and I know it, but we don't exactly have a lot of time." One of the clones asked to which the group looked at him. "Sorry, sir. Just don't want to be here longer than we have to be." The clone stated as the doors slowly dropped down.

"Agreed, we need to get off of this planet and we need to bring Ms. Surik and Revan up to speed on what has happened since they've last been active," Plo said before he beckoned the group up and onto the shuttle.

It was clear this battle didn't at all seem to be over anytime soon. Plo knew their reinforcements would have driven the enemy off, it was only by the grace of the Force would the CIS win today and he doubted Dooku had any real business here. Both of their sides had known for Dromond Kaas and yet neither of their armies had cared, the planet was nothing more than a cesspit in the force that neither side considered for now.

Meetra didn't know what the planet would have been like, it had been years for the time being when it came down to it. She hadn't exactly wished to have seen it go anytime soon. There was too much.

The shuttle slowly started to lift upwards and into the sky, leaving them behind as the planet slowly started to grow from a massive orb into a speck.

Plo Koon put in the coordinates as the group got strapped in. The shuttle slowly prepared for hyperspace as all of the Jedi and Clones aboard looked around, probably not expecting such a thing, something that had been far beyond whatever had been before.

"Gentlemen? Ms. Surik? Hang on." Plo-Koon stated before he pulled the lever and the ship was thrown into hyperspace.

Dooku watched and shook his head before bringing his comlink to his face before he spoke.

"Ventress? Prepare for the next phase of our plan. Our prize escaped; inform our master we will redouble our efforts." Meetra stated to which he sighed to himself.

Dooku shook his head, knowing what would happen if Meetra and Revan managed to become Jedi once more. The mere presence of Revan would see the CIS collapse before his words and weapons. His powers could already part the rest of the Republic and it was clear that if he had wanted something that much?

He could cause the death of the army his master had held. It was something that terrified his master which meant it terrified him.

Even still? Dooku respected his old enemy. He had respected Revan as well, someone who hadn't let the visions of others cloud his own, who had stood tall in the face of the world. It had been… Inspiring for him when push came to shove and it was something he'd tell the old Jedi when he found them again… None of which seemed to be soon as the Sith knew they had evaded him for now… However? He could not be evaded forever.

He'd let them have whatever pathetic idea of victory they could muster as he knew he'd cross paths with them again. Revan and his apprentice would not be able to resist them for now. Their vast armies would find the Jedi and he'd make sure they joined his army one way or another. It'd only be a matter of time.

Dooku walked away and knew the Republic would soon follow. Whatever small losses either side occurred would not do much to stop him or the Republic, it simply added to their armies.

He sighed before shaking his head before he looked around and then looked down at the ground, too much interest on his mind when it was all said and done.

(With Meetra)

Meetra was silent as the shuttle continued through hyperspace, carrying them far away from Dromund Kaas. It was clear all of them wanted off this damn planet when it came down to it, she cleared her throat before it came down to it.

Meetra sighed to have questioned before it came down to it. She hadn't yet seemed to have questioned much at all and it didn't seem likely it'd have changed much. They had more and more on the line when it came to the next war.

She looked at Wesset who had fallen silent before she questioned before it came down to it. She hadn't yet seemed to have focused upon it when it came down to it.

Wesset fell silent, utterly silent as to how this would have gone, it was a lot worse sooner or later. They'd need some answers, something that should have been brought to their attention sooner or later. It was all too clear for now that Wesset wanted to say something but the others allowed nothing, perhaps it was all too clear as to how this wasn't something they could have openly discussed what to have handled for now when it came down to it. They had something that they should have handled for now when it came to it.

Perhaps it was something they'd not have allowed easily, perhaps it was just part of life… She didn't know, it was a lot more to have handled…A LOT more.

They had a lot more to discuss when it came down to it. They had a lot to have done and it was clear they didn't know what to have done for now…

Perhaps it was just part of life. They had more to discuss when it was all done and dusted. They had a lot more to discuss when push came to shove and it was clear to them this wasn't even slightly cleared up, problems weren't going to be capable of.

This wasn't going to be fun, nor did she see it ending anytime soon. They had more and more fun before now before it came down to it.

Meetra looked at Wesset before he seemed to cross his arms be looked around as he found it to be horrid, it was all too much for now. Meetra wasn't going to be able to relax, nor would she allow this to come to heel so quickly.

The silhouette of a cruiser… A warship grew in the distance before they approached and it was clear this warship was to be their home for a while. Perhaps she had misjudged the republic as she had remembered had been different for now, Meetra looked around the ship as she was silent again.

"The republic has changed in the lifetimes we've been locked away for now," Revan stated before he looked around the ship. "This is what passes for warships in the republic navy, is it?" Revan questioned to which there were nods from them as he sighed.

He could not at all believe this… Then again? It was hard enough to believe, to begin with, such problems hadn't at all hit the shelves for them. It had gone rouge so easily and yet they were here… This was the republic after centuries of conflict and strife only to go back to being a cesspit consumed by war. Revan would have said something but he didn't at all understand what was coming, or how well this would have worked out. Perhaps it was simply due to the fact they expected better and would have expected far worse at the end of the day.

It wasn't as if nothing at all had gone on and it was clear to have to try and fix such an issue was beyond them. They had so much potential and yet? Well, they were here at the finish line, it was beginning to be odder and odder before now as of the time being when it came down to it.

He sighed before slowly looking around the cabin. Their status felt so odd to him as they seemed to have to question before it came down to it. Meetra wasn't going to have been something that should have been dealt with for now. it'd all go skidding into the drain as to how it wasn't going to be able for now.

They weren't going to be able to fish it out of the ocean and yet it would all become worse and worse, for now, a lot worse of an issue.

Meetra looked around the cabin, the other Jedi all looked various shades of calm and collected. All of it made her curious and curiously more and more devoted to what needed to be done.

Her head spun over and over at the issue. It wasn't going to be easy, nor would it affect it at all. There was a lot more to say and do anyway.

"Will the cruiser have a database? I wish to read up on what has transpired since our… Rest." Meetra heard from Revan which she nodded over. "The galaxy has changed and it seems so have the Jedi massively. The Last Jedi I met did not care to listen to anything we say or did. It was simply conjectured for now and yet it needs to be said I don't at all know what needed to be said and done." Meetra said more and more confused as to what needed to be said and done.

Meetra wasn't going to decide it for now as the ship slowly approached the cruiser. Both she and Revan looked up at the warship which seemed different from the warships of their time as she looked up at Wesset before now.

It was clear Wesset wanted to speak but was waiting for the best moment to try and speak. Yes, it was clear she could ask some of the younger Jedi in the little group.

Wesset sighed as he looked at her before the shuttle slowly started to settle into the hanger bay, wings folding inwardly as of now. Wesset watched as Mace and Plo both shared a look at one another.

Still? Such problems need to be solved today and yet? Meetra was so damn silent as the ramp slowly descended, hissing to the floor like the tongue of a great beast. Its cargo was properly secured on it.

The ramp slid downwards to the ground as the two Jedi Masters exited the craft and looked upwards and around the craft as they slowly started to think, questioning what needed to do next. He looked upwards at both Meetra and Revan as if deciding either was more and more interested in what needed to be said and done over and over again…

Perhaps it was simply due to needing to chill or perhaps it was simply nerves that neither wished to act upon.

Author notes

Phew. Another chapter is done! I want to point out that the next chapter will be 900-6500 words and will be in 2-10 months while showing more of Wesset and Meetra talking with the others and the plot. Until then, Lighting Wolf is out!
