Shortly after Baki's match, the whole group could be seen hanging around one of the hallways as Baki was sitting cross-legged on the ground with a whole bunch of food in front of him.

"That's a lot of food. Is it really okay for him to eat all of that, " Kozue said, seeing as, despite his recovery, Baki was still quite thin from the poison rampaging through his body.

"Yes, his body has been abused quite a bit. He will need all the nutrition he can get right now," Retsu replied before Baki called him.

"I'm sorry I worried you, you're a good person Retsu" Retsu looked surprised for a second before he blushed and looked away "it's no big deal just eat".

Of to the side, Jack's eyes flashed with mischief before he leaned in to whisper in Kozue's ear "ooh you better start taking better care of your boyfriend Kozue or Retsu-chan Is gonna steal him from you" causing her to blush as she looked up at Jack who looked at her with fake concern before glancing at Retsu and Baki "No way… Right?".

"Oh you never know he is always wrestling with other half-naked guys after all"

"Baki let me feed you" she marched standing between Retsu and Baki before she sat down to start feeding him as he raised an eyebrow at her for her sudden behaviour Jack gave a thumbs-up from behind her.

"Okay?" He replied as Kozue started feeding him. As soon as she put the first piece of food in his mouth, he started slapping his knee "oooh That's so good" while processing to eat with gusto with a big smile on his face Kozue was content with occasionally feeding him some bits and pieces.

"Damn, that is good." Baki smiled before he paused as he looked up to see Jack with a bowl in his hands eating dumplings.

"HEY!! That's my food. "

"You know the rules, little bro Jack tax."

Baki looked at him annoyed, springing up and trying to grab the ball from Jack's hand, who kept him at arm's reach "That's bullshit".

All the while, Retsu was trying to hold back his laughter at the scene "are they always like this".

He asked Kozue, who was looking at the two deadpanned look the corner of her lips, keep twitching "*sigh* yeah pretty much but usually aunt Jane stops them she says they have a lot of bickering to catch up on".

Catching the confused look on Retsu's face she explained "she is Jack's mother" he nodded his head in understanding before the two of them turned to see Jack dropping dumplings in his mouth while holding Baki's face away with his other arm.

Baki was laying down on his back with his stomach looking like an over-inflated balloon as he patted on it with a content look on his face, It appears that he still manages to get his fill despite Jack snatching food.

"Don't sleep yet, there is still dessert," Retsu said, walking off to get it.

"I could eat anything.."

"I second that," Jack said Baki giving him a stink eye still mad that he ate his dumplings before he looked to see Retsu placing a bucket on the floor

"This is?"

"10 litres of water is the minimum amount you need right now "Jack raised an eyebrow before he looked at Baki "I think I will let you have the desert all for yourself this time bro".

Baki gave him a side eye before Rolling his eyes at him and turning to Retsu "do you really think I can drink it all.."

"It's hard but we can make it taste better with this.." he got a Jar that was placed behind him presenting it "It sugar made dried fruit"

(Jack's pov)

I watched Retsu pour the sugar into the bucket while explaining to Baki why he needed conveniently ignoring his protest at him steering it with his hands.

'Yeah definitely not putting a Jack tax on that Just because my immune system can handle it doesn't mean I will drink the 4000 years of love steered into that'

"I'm gonna go see if it's my turn yet" I said while leaving them as I headed to the ring, stopping for a second as I felt some vibrations coming from around the corner Yujiro pointed behind him as he saw me "it's your turn".

'Well doesn't he look in a good mood' rounding the corner I saw one of the fighters laying on the ground with the floor cracked around his head.

Well, that at least explains Yujiro's mood and if I remember correctly that's the guy that got his nut flicked by the old man. I mean I get it's an effective way to take out your opponent and all but he seriously didn't have to do the guy like that.

The guy Is even weak in my old world. He would have been a great fighter after all he did have the most fundamental part of striking down speed. If you are faster you are most likely to win.

'*sigh* if you the poor guy didn't live in the Baki verse where bullshit runs rampant in all walks of life hell there was even that one guy that had the special skill of apologising.

That's all there is to it the guy was so good at apologising that people would willingly stop whatever they were doing if he asked nicely enough and I know that guy Is out there because that spin-off manga was Canon Things like that just make me grateful for haven't my system because this world Is so full of bullshit despite how safe it is in comparison to other world.
