A Contract and a Visit to the ORC
Hey everyone and welcome back to Akari the Red Dragon Empress. In this chapter, Akari will unlock her Sacred Gear, which you should know what it is by the title of the story. She will also start doing some contracts, as per normal Devil work.
And remember, for those that aren't big fans of Issei, please don't leave rude or negative reviews. If you don't like him, just don't read this fanfic. One more thing.
I am from the United States and haven't learned much of any other languge other than English, so if you leave reviews in other languages, I won't entirely understand what you are saying. I am sorry for those whose native language isn't English, but it is who I am. Though, if you understand and have English as a secondary language, then I don't mind if you try reviewing like that no matter how bad your English is. And with that out of the way, let's get on with the chapter.
We start where we last left off, where Akari sees a naked Rias on Issei's bed, and her brother naked on the floor with his blanket covering him up down below the belt. Akari was thankful Issei was covering his area, but in return, she got a great view of Rias in her birthday suit.
"Why are you two naked in here?" Akari asked, as she was now supporting a nosebleed. Not from her brother, but from just looking at Rias. A lot of people that know Akari knows she's bisexual with a huge female lean, which it's why Issei has an easier time talking with her about girls. Granted, she will date guys, but only if she finds them cute.
"Well, this is the only way I could heal Issei up is by being close together like this." Rias explained, but then added. "Plus, being naked helps me sleep better."
Akari was not preparred for that answer, as a fountain of blood came out of her nose. 'Damn it, how did my brother get so lucky!' She cursed in her head. She then heard the sound of footsteps, followed by the sound of their mother's voice coming up the stairs.
"Issei, Akari. If you don't hurry up, you'll be late for school!" Mrs. Hyoudou yelled up to them. That's when Akari closed the door and yelled back.
"We'll be right down mom!" She yelled.
"What are you doing in Issei's room, Akari?" Mrs. Hyoudou asked, once she got to Issei's door.
"Oh, I was just helping him out with something. We will be down in a minute." Akari told her. She was hoping their mother wouldn't come inside right now. Thankfully, she didn't.
"Okay, but don't be too long. Your breakfast will get cold" Mrs. Hyoudou said, as she starts walking back down the stairs. Akari then wiped the sweat from her forehead and gave a sigh.
"Thank goodness. Okay, you two get dressed while I change. If mom and dad see Rias with us, I can think of an excuse for that." Akari said, as she opened the door and started heading back to her room.
"Like what?" Issei asked.
"I will think of something." Akari said. Rias and Issei get dressed into their respected uniforms, while Akari changed into her uniform. Once they went down stairs, Mrs. Hyoudou noticed Rias with their children.
"And who is this?" She asked her children. Akari then answered.
"This is my friend Rias Gremory. She stayed the night last night." Akari told her mother.
"Hello, it's nice to meet you." Rias greeted with a bow.
"It's nice to meet you too. Why didn't you tell me she was staying the night, Akari?" Mrs Hyoudou asked.
"I thought I already told you that a friend was staying the night." Akari said.
"I just probably forgot. Let me get you a plate dear." Mrs. Hyoudou said to Rias, as she went to the kitchen to get her a plate of food.
"Thank you. I appreciate it." Rias said. They sat down and ate while talking, before leaving for school.
On their way to school, Rias quickly informed Issei about Devils and the great war, while making sure no one else heard their conversation. Once they got to school, everyone was surprised that the Hyoudou twins were walking with Rias, though they were more surprised about Issei being there than Akari.
Once inside, Rias told Issei that she will send someone to come fetch him from class and left the twins there. Once Rias left, Katase and Murayama walked up to Akari.
"OMG, I can't believe you walked to school with Rias Gremory." Katase excitedly said.
"How did you and your perverted brother get to walk with her?" Murayama asked.
"Oh, I asked her if she could help me with something after school and she accepted." Akari said. She didn't want to lie to her two friends, but she couldn't tell them she, Rias and Issei were Devils. Hopefully that will change in the future.
"You are so luck to hang out with Rias!" Katase said, getting giddy. They kept talking on their way to class, as they ignored whatever perverted things Issei and his friends were saying.
Classes went by as normal, as Akari stuck with her friends. Once classes were over, Akari had gotten up to leave, when she heard girls screaming in delight. She looked over to the crowd of girls and saw they were surrounding a blonde-haired boy. 'Wait, is that Yuuto Kiba? What's he doing here?' She asked in her head.
She saw Kiba walking to Issei, as she heard him say, "You're Issei Hyoudou, right? I'm here on behalf of the Occult Research Club."
'Oh, I guess he's the one Rias sent for Issei. I wonder what piece Rias gave him?' Akari thought. She then noticed Issei look in her direction, to which she gave him a nod. She then left the classroom. She walked all the way to the Student Council office and entered, as she saw everyone there. Sona saw her walk in.
"Good, you made it. How's your brother doing?" She asked, as she knew what happened last night.
"He's doing better. He's heading to Rias right now." Akari said.
"Good. Now, on to business. First, we will help Akari unlock her Sacred Gear." Sona said.
"Wait, I have a Sacred Gear too?" Akari asked.
"Yes, you do. Like I told you when I first asked you to come that you had something powerful in you." Sona told her.
"Sweet! So, what do I have?" Akari asked.
"We don't quite know yet. That's why we're here, to help you unlock it and see what it is." Tsubaki said.
"Oh, right." Akari sheepishly said.
"Let's get started. I want you to focus on what part you feel is the strongest part on your body." Sona instructed.
"Strongest part, huh." Akari said, as she then closed her eyes and focused. She then started feeling something encompassing her left hand. She first felt something hard grow within the back of her hand, followed by something covering her entire hand and went up her forearm to before her elbow.
Once it was finished, Akari opened her eyes and looked at her hand. What she saw was a red gauntlet with a green jewel and 2 golden spikes. Everyone looked at her in shock.
"I don't believe it." Tsubaki said.
"Could it be?" Sona asked.
"What is it? Did I do it wrong?" Akari asked, wondering if she did something wrong.
"No, no. We just weren't expecting to get this on your first try." Momo said.
"Oh. Well, what is this?" Akari asked, lifting up her hand.
"If I'm correct, then that's the Boosted Gear, a very special type of Sacred Gear. It boosts the power of its user every 10 seconds, at least that's what I heard." Sona said.
"Awesome!" Akari exclaimed, then she realized something. " How do I put it away?" As soon as Akari asked that, the Boosted Gear magically went back into her hand, making it look normal once again. This amazed Akari.
"Now that that's out of the way, let's get onto business. Akari, you have your first contract tonight." Sona said.
"Alright, who am I going to see?" Akari asked.
"A lonely, middle-aged man who's looking for someone to play cards with." Tsubaki said, as she looked at Akari's first contract info and handed her contract papers.
"Playing cards, huh? Doesn't sound too bad." Akari said.
"Tsubaki will open up a Magic Circle for you and you will pay him a visit. And remember, he needs to sign a pact with you, as pacts helps Devils rise in ranks." Sona said, as Tsubaki starts making the Magic Circle for Akari.
"Right." Akari nodded. Just then, a knock came to the door.
"Hello? I came on behalf of Rias Gremory." Came the familiar voice of Issei.
"Come in." Sona said. Issei came in and saw what was happening.
"What's happening here?" Issei asked.
"Your sister is going on her first contract. I'm sure Rias told you about them?" Sona asked.
"She told me a little about it, but did go into much detail about them. I think she was distracted to give me every detail." Issei said. Once the Magic Circle was done, Akari stepped in and successfully jumped to the client. "Hopefully it isn't anything too sexual." He said when she left.
"Rias is just probably too busy with the Occult Research Club to tell you that my peerage and her peerage do not do sexual contracts, Issei." Sona told him once Akari left.
"Alright. Anyways, might as well get what Rias wanted from here." Issei said.
"Right, the transcripts for Gasper Vladi." Sona said, as she went to her desk to recieve the paperwork.
"Gasper Vladi? Who's that?" Issei asked.
"Right, you probably don't know about him yet. All I know is he's a dhampir and apart of Rias' peerage, though that's all I can tell you. If you want to know more, then you can ask Rias about him." Sona said, as she handed Issei the papers.
"Alright, thank you very much." Issei said, as he grabbed the papers, bowed to Sona and left.
"He's got a lot to learn about our world." Tsubaki said once Issei left.
"And with how busy Rias can be, I doubt she will tell him much within a day." Sona agreed.
Back with Akari, she successfully jumped from the Student Council room to a nice sized living room in what Akari assumed was a pretty nice house. The living room was a bit bigger than the living room that was at her house, as it was filled with what looked like some expensive furniture.
"Hello? I'm here for a contract? I'm from the Sitri house." Akari called out. That's when someone turned on a light from a lamp.
"Ah, I'm glad someone made it. I was a bit worried someone wouldn't be making it." A man said.
Akari turned and saw a middle-aged man that has dark-grey hair, grey eyes and wears a grey business suit with a red tie. Akari made sure to greet him properly.
"My name is Akari Hyoudou and I will be keeping you company tonight." She greeted, as she bowed.
"My, my. Very kind and pretty for a young woman. I am President Tanaka, but you can just call me Tanaka." The man, now named Tanaka, said.
"Thank you. I heard you needed someone to play cards with?" Akari asked.
"That's right. Tell me, do you know how to play Koi-Koi?" Tanaka asked, to which Akari nods.
"Yes, I have played it before with my brother." Akari said.
"Then let's play." Tanaka said. Akari sat across from him, as the began playing.
For the past few hours, the two played Koi-Koi until it got dark out. They both noticed, as Tanaka starts packing up the cards.
"Looks like it's getting late. Guess we can call it a night." Tanaka said.
"Thank you for the good time. It was pretty fun." Akari said, handing him the paper to sign.
"No, thank you for keeping this lonely old man company." Tanaka said, signing the paper.
Once the paper was signed, Akari took it and gave Tanaka a bow, as she then made a Magic Circle and teleported back to the Student Council room. Once she got there, she saw Sona and Tsubaki there. Sona noticed her returning.
"So, how did it go?" She asked Akari.
"It went pretty well. Got my first contract." Akari said.
"Good. Now leave it with me and head to the Occolt Reserch Club. Rias says her peerage wants to meet you." Sona said.
"Really? I was wondering who else was in her peerage aside from my brother and Kiba." Akari said, as she set the paper on Sona's desk.
"Wait, how do you know Kiba is in her peerage?" Tsubaki asked.
"Because Rias told Issei that she would be sending someone to come get him and Kiba was the one she sent." Akari explained.
"I see. You will be meeting two more out of three of her peerage, as the third is a recluse and doesn't like to come out." Sona said.
"Understood. Guess I'm off." Akari said, as she left. Once she left, she headed to the Occult Research Club. For her to get there, she had to leave the main school building and head to a smaller building. She was about to enter the front door, when they opened and on the other side was Kiba.
"Hello. Rias said someone was coming on by. Your Issei's sister, right?" Kiba asked.
"Yes. I'm Akari and Rias wanted me to come by." Akari said, as she introduced herself.
"I'm Yuuto Kiba and I will escort you to where everyone else is waiting. Come with me." Kiba said, as he lead the way.
Akari followed, as she went through a lot of hallways. She even passed by a hallway that had a door that was closed off. After they passed that room, it didn't take long to get to where they needed to be.
"This way, please." Kiba said, as he entered a room. Akari followed him in.
When Akari entered, she saw a wood-paneled room with Victorian-style couches and chairs along the walls. There also appeared to also be a side with a bathroom in it. Akari not only noticed that Issei and Rias were there, but two other females were here. She knew them from how popular they were.
"No way! You have Akeno Himejima and Koneko Toujou?" Akari asked Rias.
"Yes, you know who they are?" Rias asked.
"Of course! Akeno is the second most popular girl at Kuoh, right behind you. As for Koneko, she's pretty popular of the first years." Akari said, fangirling for a bit.
"I see my reputation proceeds me." Koneko said in a quiet, cold voice.
"Even when she's cold, she's cute!" Akari cooed.
"My, she's quite energetic, isn't she." Akeno said, as she had a smile on her face.
"Indeed. So, how do you like things here, Akari?" Rias asked.
"It's very interesting here." Akari said, as she then noticed. " Wait, don't you have one more with you?" She asked.
I see Sona mentioned Gasper to you." Rias said.
"Yeah, though not by name. Where is Gasper?" Akari asked.
"As Sona probably told you, Gasper is a recluse. He likes staying locked up in his room and doesn't like coming out. I'm sure you saw a room that was closed off on the way to this room?" Rias asked.
"Yeah, I guess that's where he likes to be." Akari said.
"That's right. He's my Bishop, though you'll meet him another time." Rias said.
"What are the pieces everyone else has?" Akari asked.
"Well, Akeno is my Queen. Koneko is my Rook. Kiba is my Knight. And Issei, he's my only Pawn." Rias said.
"I'm guessing because of his Sacred Gear, he had to take up multiple of your Pawns?" Akari asked, reffering to Issei.
"That's right. He took up all of my Pawn pieces." Rias told her.
"Heh, I only took 7 pieces." Akari said, looking to Issei.
"How is that any better than me? You took almost as much as me." Issei stated.
"True, but Sona already had a Pawn before I joined, so I only had to take seven." Akari said, then added. "Also, one of my pieces had turned into a mutation piece when I activated my Sacred Gear earlier." This information surprised Rias and the others.
"Really now. Mind if we have a look at your Sacred Gear?" Rias asked.
"Sure, I don't mind at all." Akari said, as she activated Boosted Gear for everyone. Everyone but Issei gave a surprised look, as they knew what it was.
"Is that the Boosted Gear?" Akeno asked.
"I only heard about it, but didn't think it would appear on someone who was related to someone who had Divine Dividing." Rias said.
"Is that bad?" Issei spoke up.
"I'm not entirely sure. I heard two rival dragons were put into two Sacred Gears, but don't know if they're entirely true or not." Rias admitted. She then added. "But just be careful if it is true, as it could mean that you two have those dragons in your Sacred Gears."
"Oh." The twins said in unison, as Akari looked at the green gem in the Boosted Gear. The gem glistened, as the whole gauntlet magically went back into her hand.
"Anyways, I was telling Issei to help Koneko with a contract before you got here, as she's booked up tonight." Rias told Akari.
"Sweet, that means I get to see him off." Akari said.
"That's right." Akeno said, as she went to go get the Magic Circle ready for Issei. Everyone got up to see Issei make his first jump, as when Akeno finished making the Magic Circle, Issei walked to the middle. The circle shined brightly and when the light died down, Issei was still standing there.
"The fuck?" Issei questioned, as he was wondering why he was still there. Kiba and Akari were trying to hold back their laughs, though Kiba was doing a better job than Akari.
"Looks like that flopped." Koneko coldly said.
"Whoops." Akeno said with an apologetic smile to Issei.
"It's alright, not everyone gets it on their first try. Though, I do have another way you can get there." Rias told Issei. She showed him a bike that is for Devils with very low magic within them, which Issei is unfortunate to have. He then rode off on the bike.
"So, what contract did he get?" Akari asked.
"One where he would have to cosplay as a pricess." Koneko said. Akari tried holding back her laughter again.
"Man, I can only imagine Issei as a princess." Akari said through held back laughter. After about a minute, she calmed down and looked to Koneko. "You know, I'm going to like you as a friend, Koneko." She said. This made Koneko smile.
Akari decided to wait for Issei to get back with the Occult Research Club, as everyone there was pretty kind. She learned Koneko had a sweet tooth, and no matter how much she ate, she never gained a single pound. She also learned that before Issei joined, Kiba was the only guy in Rias' peerage. After about an hour of waiting for Issei to return, he hadn't shown up.
"What's taking him so long?" Akari asked.
"Normally it shouldn't take that long to get there and back on bike. Someone betteer go check on him to see if he's alright." Rias said.
"I'll go. I know I'm not apart of your peerage, but he is my brother and I care to not see him hurt out there." Akari said. She got a nod of approval and a warning to be careful from Rias.
Akari left the club building, as she turned invisible and flew off. She looked for Issei for about ten minutes, until she found him just leaving the place he had been. She caught up to him and leaned in close to his ear.
"Hey Issei." She said. This startled Issei, as it also made him tumble to the ground.
"What the!? Akari, what the heck! You almost gave me a heat attack!" Issei almost yelled at the top of his lungs. He knew the voice belonged to his sister.
"Sorry, Issei. I could't help myself." Akari said, as she became visible. She knew no one would be watching her. "You were taking too long, so I came to see what was going on."
"Oh, just me and the guy I went to see having a heated discussion about Dragon Boy Z. Guess the time flew by." Issei said.
"That old anime you used to watch with Matsuda and Motohama? Wow, who knew you could get any nerdier." Akari said.
"Hey, it was a good show!" Issei exclaimed. As they were discussing that, the sky changed like with Dohnaseek, as both Akari and Issei got a weird feeling about this.
"Oh, no. This only happens when-"
"A Fallen Angel is here? Very perceptive." A mature feminine voice interrupted Akari. The twins then turn to look at a tall, buxom woman with brown eyes and long, navy blue hair that obscured her right eye.
Her attire consisted of a maroon, trenchcoat-like top with a wide collar, a matching miniskirt, and black heeled shoes. The trenchcoat top was open at her chest, giving view to her breasts and cleavage. She also wore a gold necklace around her neck. She appears to wear a white shirt underneath her top, but it can only be seen from the bottom.
"Who are you? And why are you here?" Akari asked, as she and Issei got in a defensive stance.
"Stand down, I didn't come to fight. As for my name, I am Kalawarna." The woman, now named Kalawarna, introduced. The twins both looked sceptical, as Issei spoke up.
"What do you want? Why are you here?" He asked.
"I came to bare a warning. You both know Raynare, right?" Kalawarna asked, as both Issei and Akari gave a nod. "Well, she wants to take a Sacred Gear. That's all I came to warn you about." She said. This has shocked the twins, as they want to know why Raynare needs a Sacred Gear.
"Why does she want to take a Sacred Gear?" Akari asked.
"I can't say anymore, as I now fear that Raynare and those that follow her will come after me for telling you." Kalawarna said.
"Thanks for the warning. I suggest you hide somewhere Raynare or any other Fallen won't find you. Maybe a place with a bunch of people." Akari said.
"Wait, there's a four star hotel where she could hide. That place is almost always at full capacity, so that would be a good place for her to hide." Issei chimed in.
" I shall do that. Thank you for listening to and helping me, even if we are supposed to be enemies." Kalawarna thanked, giving a bow.
"Well, you never bothered to attack us, and you did give us some information that we needed." Akari said.
"I hope we meet again very soon." Kalawarna said, as she then flew off in the direction of the hotel. The sky went back to normal, as Akari told Issei that they need to go tell Sona and Rias about the news.
They both got back on the bike and headed back to the Occult Research Club. On the way back, Akari contacted Sona and asked her to meet her at ORC, as she had news to tell her and Rias. Once they got back to the building, they went inside and found Sona there with Rias' peerage.
"So, what's this news you wanted to tell us?" Sona asked.
Akari told them everything. From going to get Issei, to Kalawarna arriving, to even the news about Raynare wanting to take a Sacred Gear. That's when Sona spoke up.
"Did Kalawarna tell you anything else?" She asked.
"No, that was it. She was afraid to go back, so we told her to go someplace populated to hide." Akari said.
"Well, wherever she's hiding, hopefully the other Fallen won't find her." Rias said.
"We told her to hide in the four star hotel in town, as that place is almost always booked up." Akari said.
"You two did pretty good. You can go and get some rest while Rias and I speak about what we heard." Sona said.
"Yes ma'am." Akari said, as she and Issei left. That's when Sona turned to Rias.
"What would Raynare want with a Sacred Gear?" Sona asked.
"I don't know, but whatever it is, it won't be good." Rias said.
Back with Akari and Issei had gotten home, gotten out of their uniforms, ate some dinner and went to bed. It was hard for both of them to sleep at first, as they had their minds on why Raynare needed a Sacred Gear for. Soon enough, they both fell asleep.
In Akari's dream, we see her floating in a vast, open space. She had her eyes closed, as when she opened them, she looked around.
"Where am I?" She asked. She then heard something really huge flapping its wings, flying right past her. "Who's there?" She asked
"AKARI HYOUDOU!" A deep male voice boomed out. We then see something really huge lowering down in front of Akari. What lowered in front of her was a large, red Western Dragon that had a long neck, green eyes and has red and gold scales going down him.
"Whoa, who are you?" Akari asked.
"I GO BY MANY NAMES. THE MOST COMMON ARE THE RED DRAGON EMPEROR AND THE WELSH DRAGON, BUT YOU CAN JUST CALL ME DDRAIG." The dragon, now named Ddraig, introduced himself.
"Wait, that means you are one of the two dragons that was stored in my Boosted Gear." Akari said, remembering what Rias told her and Issei.
"CORRECT. AND IT APPEARS THAT MY RIVAL, ALBION, RESIDES IN YOUR BROTHER'S SACRED GEAR." Ddraig said.
"So, Rias' assumtion's were true. She said she heard rumors that two rival dragons were put into mine and Issei's Sacred Gears, and here I am actually getting the story out of the dragon's mouth." Akari said.
"THIS RIAS MUST BE VERY SMART IF SHE ASSUMED ALBION AND I WERE IN SACRED GEARS. I'M GUESSING SHE'S A DEVIL AND YOUR MASTER?" Ddraig asked.
"A Devil? Yes. My master? No. She's actually Issei's master. The master of me right now is Sona Sitri." Akari said.
"SITRI? I THINK I'VE HEARD THE NAME BEFORE. ISN'T THAT THE NAME OF ONE OF THE GREAT DEVIL FAMILIES?" Ddraig asked.
"Yes, it is. And it looks like we're both in it." Akari said.
"I SEE. ANYWAYS, IT IS ALMOST MORNING. I WILL TALK WITH YOU ANOTHER TIME." Ddrai said, as he opend his wings and flew off.
"Ddraig, wait!" Akari yelled, as the dream faded. She then woke up in a cold sweat, as she breathing a little heavily. She looked over to her clock, as it was time to get ready for school. Luckily for her, it was a Friday.
Akari got out of bed and got ready for school. She and Issei left, as she started talking to him about the dream she had last night. Luckily, no one was around to hear them.
"Wait, so this dragon came to you in your dream, saying he and his rival were stuck inside our Sacred Gears?" Issei questioned.
"Yes, and his name is Ddraig. The dragon inside your Sacred Gear is Albion." Akari said.
"If that's so, then why haven't I've seen this Albion? I mean, you got to see your dragon." Issei said.
"I don't know. Maybe we can ask Rias and Sona after school." Akari said. That's when the twins then heard a ruckus, as they looked to the left. From what they saw, they couldn't help but to stare.
From what they saw, a young woman had tripped, as she was face down, ass up. But that wasn't the weirdest part, as the attire she was wearing had revealed her white pantied ass. The twins couldn't believe what they were seeing.
"Ouch, that hurt." The girl groaned in a sweet tone. When she turned to sit up, they saw she was wearing a dark teal outfit with light blue accents, a white veil with light blue accents over her blonde hair. She also had a brown satchel slung over her right hip and brown boots with black straps in an X-shaped pattern. She also had a silver cross necklace around her neck. Once she got over the pain, she looked up, to see the Hyoudou twins looking at her.
Okay, another cliffhanger. I know I shouldn't do that, but where's the fun in that. Pluss, if I continued, then this chapter would be a lot longer than it should be, so a cliffhanger will do. Though, I will try not to do a cliffhanger in every chapter, so it won't have to continue where it left off before.
As you can tell, a lot has happened in this chapter. Akari saw Rias naked with Issei, instead of their mother. Akari got to summon her Sacred gear and went on her first contract. Akari met the rest of Rias' peerage and got to learn about Gasper with Issei. Issei and Akari got news of Raynare's plan. Akari got to meet Ddraig, and both she and Issei saw a tripped Asia.
