"Reina slow down!" The nursemaid cried as she chased after the little girl. Reina just giggled as she continued to run away from
her captor. "Reina please!" The nursemaid begged. "Reina" Queen Adorna said, coming into the room. "If you don't stop, you'll
run out of energy to play with Bennett." "Benny!" Reina cried happily. Bennett's mother was good friends with Queen Adorna so
naturally their children were good friends as well. "Come let's go. They're waiting for us" Adorna said, holding out her hand. Reina
immediately took it and the pair left… "What a lovely day for a picnic," Bennett's mother said. This was a great idea." "I thought it
would be nice for the children to be outside" Queen Adorna replied. "Well I agree." Meanwhile, Bennett was so busy chasing after
his friend and Reina was too busy running away from him to notice a steep hill up ahead. Before she could stop, Reina tripped
and started falling forward. Had she continued, something serious would've happened. Luckily without thinking, Bennett reached
out his hands and Reina suddenly stopped and fell backwards instead. "Reina! Are you alright!?" Queen Adorna cried running
over to her. Reina just sat on the ground too stunned to cry. "Reina?" Her mother asked. "Bennett!" His mother cried, grabbing
him. "What happened?" "Mother" Bennett said, looking down at his hands. "What did I do?" His mother looked at Adorna who
nodded. "Your father will explain it all tonight when he gets home. I promise." "Am I in trouble?" "No. Of course not. What you did
was a great thing." "Are you alright?" Queen Adorna asked her daughter again as she helped her up. "Yes mother. I'm just…
confused. What happened?" "I'll explain tonight. Come. Let's have our picnic far away from the hill." Like most young children,
Reina quickly forgot the incident but not Bennett. He thought about it all day and couldn't wait until his father got home to explain
things.
"Alright. Are you all settled in?" Queen Adorna asked as she sat down on her daughter's bed. "Settled!" Reina replied. "Good.
Let's see. How to explain this…There is this energy that surrounds us in life that we call the Force. Most everyone can feel it, but
some more than others. Some are even lucky enough to be able to wield the Force. This gives them powers no one else can
possess. These powers can be used for good or for evil and unfortunately, people have made a dark side to the Force. A side that
seeks to damage and control everything it comes across. Luckily, just like everything else in life, there is a balance. A light side, a
side that seeks to do good and bring justice, a side that gives people hope. There is no greater power than that." "Do you have
that power mother?" Reina asked. "No, but I am what they call Force sensitive. I can feel the Force more strongly than most, but I
can't wield it. In fact, no one can. The last Jedi died many years ago and no one has been around to replace them since…That is,
until you were born. Me? Yes Ray. You are strong with the Force. You will be able to control it one day, with proper training of
course. I will try to find someone to teach you." "Mother, I'm scared," Reina said. "What if I mess up?" Queen Adorna smiled. "I
have no doubt you will. Everyone does at some point. As long as you stay towards the light and never let darkness consume you,
you will be okay. I promise." Reina took a deep breath. "Okay. What about Bennett though? What happened today?" 'Well Reina.
You were not the only one born with powers of the Force. Bennett can also wield it." "Wow. So we're both…Jedi's?" "No. You are
not born a Jedi; you become one after much training and meditation. One day you and Bennett will both be Jedi's." "Wow. I can't
wait." Queen Adorna smiled. "Me neither. You and Bennett will bring peace to this world." "But isn't there already peace?" Reina
asked, confused. "There is here, but that isn't the case with other planets. There are always people looking to do evil, whether
they have the Force or not. I have sensed though that one day there will be a great evil that will rise up and you must be strong
enough to stop it." Reina nodded solemnly. "I will do my best." Queen Adorna hugged her. "That's all any of us can do."
"Did your mom tell you the good news?" Reina asked as her and Bennett raced ahead. "Yes!" Bennett paused for a moment to
raise his right hand and yell: "I'm going to be a Jedi!" "We're going to be Jedi's," Reina corrected, grabbing Bennett's other hand.
He looked down at their hands and blushed before pulling his hand away. "Don't do that," he said. "Why not?" Reina asked,
confused. Luckily her mother called her away before Bennett had to explain. He knew that boys didn't like girls to touch him
because they supposedly had cooties or something, but when it came to Reina, he felt something different. He wasn't sure what,
but would like it if they could keep their physical distance. Besides, they were just friends.
