Only a handful of people remained on the beach for the second half of the ceremony. Kara kissed Lena's knuckles before disappearing and returning dressed in an entirely new outfit. She adjusted the cloak draped over her shoulders, and her dress beneath brushed against the platform, nearly covering her bare feet.

"Ready?" J'onn asked.

Kara nodded and retook Lena's hands. J'onn stepped around the podium and placed one hand gently over Kara and Lena's. He motioned with his other hand to the group.

"Come closer. Make a half-circle around them, please," he ordered.

Alex slid to the side slightly and stood to Kara's right. Diana moved directly behind Kara with Jack on her left, and Ruby stepped up to Jack's right. Sam stood next to Ruby with Jinx to her left, Raven to Jinx's left, and Bruce took the spot behind Lena. And there was finally J'onn, who realized the last space on Lena's left side was meant for him. He smiled gently at Lena, who winked and nodded for him to continue.

"Please present the bracelets," he said.

Alex reached into her suit pocket and fumbled a bit, but she kept the box from falling and held it out to J'onn. Bruce had the other and reached around Lena to hold it. Kara glanced at her sister when Alex's hand start shaking, and she could hear Alex's heartbeat racing. She turned and whispered something in her ear, and Alex visibly relaxed. Kara rolled her eyes good-naturedly and smiled at J'onn.

"Please open them."

In unison, Alex and Bruce opened the boxes and revealed the new bracelets that both Kara and Lena unknowingly handmade with the other in mind. Lena stared at hers, confused, and Kara did the same. The time for questions would come later, as J'onn moved his hand and took a step to the side. Kara straightened, rising to her full height, and released a soft exhale.

"I went so long believing that my home was gone. But I was wrong. Krypton was where I was born, but my home is with you. You are my home, Lena." Kara removed Lena's bracelet and carefully wrapped it around Lena's wrist. She clicked it into place and kissed the back of Lena's hand. "I vow to you this evening, as the sun sets and the moon rises, that you will have all of me for as long as I live. I am yours, Lena, and that will never change. I will fight for you. I will support you. I will respect you. I will cherish you. I will trust you. I will honor you. And I will love you. For as long as I breathe, Lena Kieran Zor-El, you are my everything. I treasure you always, from now until forever."

A lone tear trailed down Lena's cheek as she blew out a soft breath and began her vows.

"I love living life with you. I love experiencing life with you, and I love all of our adventures past, present, and yet to come. But most importantly, I love watching you be the hero you have always been to me. This world knows Kara Zor-El, Supergirl, but I know Kara Danvers. That is the woman that I fell in love with." Lena took the bracelet and clasped it around Kara's wrist. "Today, in front of our family, I vow that you will have all of me for as long as I live. I am yours, Kara, and that will never change. I will fight for you. I will support you. I will respect you. I will cherish you. I will trust you. I will honor you. And I will love you. For as long as I breathe, Kara Zor-El, you are my everything. I treasure you always, from now until forever."

Kara placed both hands around Lena's, cupping it between her palms, and J'onn placed his hand on top of Kara's. He gestured to Diana and Bruce, who stepped around Lena and Kara, respectively. Bruce placed his hands at the bottom, directly under Kara's, and Diana placed hers on the very top. The five of them closed their eyes as J'onn recited the final portion of the ceremony. When he finished, they opened their eyes, and J'onn bowed to Kara and Lena.

"In Rao's name, you are one," he said. "You may kiss your bride."

Kara wore a goofy smile the entire reception. The new bracelet on her hand, heavy enough that she could feel it when she moved her arm, made her giddy. The nth metal was plain but Lena somehow managed to weave in a streak of some kind of blue material that Lena swore matched Kara's eyes when she was in the sun. Kara didn't think that kind of thing existed but she'd learned never to doubt her wife.

Wife.

Kara sighed happily and looked over her shoulder toward the dance floor where Lena was having an animated discussion with Winn about some science convention coming to National City. They weren't even dancing anymore, just rocking side to side with erratic hand gestures. It was cute. Kara still hadn't quite let Winn into the fold completely, but she knew he was trying to make up for past behavior. Plus, Winn was one of the few people who knew what it was like to be judged based on your last name, so Kara secretly hoped he was being genuine. If only for Lena's sake.

Kara's attention was stolen when the servers brought out more tiny burgers, and she bounced on her toes as they switched out the empty platter for the new one. When they were gone, Kara slid over to the table, and her eyes widened. They added new options, and Kara had no idea which one she wanted to try. She chewed on her bottom lip as she walked up and down the table. There were burgers, brisket, chicken, fish, and even a bacon-wrapped sausage patty that smelled delicious. Even though everyone at the party knew about her eating habits, it didn't make it any less nerve-wracking to stack a plate with twenty tiny sandwiches.

Alex, who ditched the suit and tie for an old band shirt, came up to her and said, "You're going to burn a hole in the table if you look for too long. What's wrong? Are they not done or something?"

"No, there are too many choices."

"Then get all of them."

"But that seems so greedy."

"How? You're a walking black hole for food." Alex picked up a plate and started loading it with two sliders each. "Plus, Jack made sure the catering made enough food for you, Sam, and Ruby so that you guys could eat as much as you want without issue." Alex handed Kara the plate full of food, and she leaned against the table, folding her arms. "Oh. I found someone, by the way," she added. "But if you want me to see someone else, then I will."

Kara scrunched her face as she said, "I have no idea what you're talking about."

"Right, right. I found a therapist. Well, Sam found me a therapist," Alex said. "But her name's Kelly Olsen." Kara arched an eyebrow in a way almost identical to her wife, and Alex was quick to add, "But she's nothing like her brother. She and James haven't even spoken in years because he didn't agree with her going into the military, and she said she has no interest in talking to him after he publicly spoke out against Supergirl's actions over the last several months. But she's so sweet and kind and insightful. And-and-and she listens to me. I never feel like I'm pretending around her, and she's beautiful. God, she's so beautiful."

Kara blinked at her a few times and asked, "Do you have a crush on your therapist?"

"No! I mean, maybe. I don't know. I hope not because it was so hard to find one in the first place."

"Sounds to me like you have a crush," Sam said, coming up behind them. Alex jumped and hissed at her, and Sam rolled her eyes. "Honestly, Danvers. I know they say you are what you eat, but that doesn't mean you have to act like a pussy."

"Fuck you, Arias."

"Sorry, you're too late. My girlfriend already took care of me."

"Come on, Sam, that's weird," Kara whined.

"I had to listen to you and Lena whisper all that dirty shit to one another. This is payback."

"We're married!"

"So? Save that heathenry for the honeymoon. But let's get back to the fact that Alex has a crush on her therapist, who may or may not think she's cute too and is currently looking for a replacement so there's no conflict of interest."

"Wait, what? She is?" Alex asked.

"You didn't hear that from me though. I just didn't want you confused when she canceled your appointments next week."

"Is this conversation legal? Like is Alex supposed to know that?" Kara asked.

"No idea, but when has anything I've done ever been legal?"

"That's a scary point to make after this morning," Kara said pointedly.

"No takebacks! But it's fine. Kelly thinks Alex is cute enough to get sued for inappropriate behavior."

Alex suddenly honest-to-God giggled, and she clamped a hand over her mouth in mortification when Kara and Sam looked at her in surprise. She was about to walk away when Kara gently grabbed her shirt and kept her in place.

"Yes, you can pursue Kelly if you want," she said. "But I have to approve first."

"Wait, what?"

"Those are rules. Take them or leave them."

"Seriously? That's bullshit, and you know it! You can't tell me whom I can and can't date."

"But Alex, what if she's using you to get to me? What if she's a spy for James, and this is all a lie?"

"That doesn't make sense! You-" Kara smirked, and Alex sighed. "That wasn't funny," she said.

"It was to me, and you have about six years of that to look forward to. Love you, enjoy the party!"

Kara laughed and walked off, and Sam smacked Alex on the back. Alex stumbled forward and glared at her.

"Welcome to the family, Danvers. Nice to have you."

"I was already in the family."

"Were you? Couldn't tell."

Alex groaned and stormed away, and Sam cackled as she caught up with Kara. She threw her arm around her shoulder and reached for one of the sliders with the other. Kara slapped her hand.

"No. There are a million more at the table," she said.

"But I want yours, sis," Sam teased.

"You're going to milk that, aren't you?"

"Until the day I die."

Kara sighed and held out the plate. Sam smiled in triumph and took one of the brisket sandwiches, wiggling her eyebrows when Kara glared at her.

"Asshole."

"You love me."

"Whatever."

Kara hip-checked Sam as they went to the head table. Lena met them there, and as soon as Kara sat down, she plopped herself in her lap. Kara put the plate on the table, food forgotten when Lena leaned into her side, and Sam stole two more sandwiches before rushing off. Kara made a disgruntled sound in the back of her throat when she realized which ones she took, and Lena patted her on the cheek.

"I told Jack to have the servers pack to-go boxes for you, just in case," she said.

"Wait, seriously?"

"Yep. Three of everything, I think. Or four, I can't remember."

"I love you."

"Because I feed you?"

"Duh, why else?"

Lena rolled her eyes and said, "I think I liked you better when we were dating."

"You hated me when we were dating."

"Only on the days that ended in y," Lena said. "Also, do you want to plan a trip to see Iris?"

"Yes, please. I hate that she couldn't be here. But it makes sense, I guess. Her being eight months pregnant screams like a bad idea for interdimensional travel."

"And it explains why Barry left as fast as he did before the reception."

"Can't leave the missus at home for too long," Kara said solemnly.

"Oh to be the wife of a superhero." Kara snorted, and Lena put her hand on Kara's chest. Then she lifted her head. "I thought you weren't working tonight?" she asked, tapping where the crest on her suit would be.

"I'm not."

"Then why are you wearing your suit?"

"Other than because you love seeing me in it? I have a surprise for everyone later."

"What's with you and all these surprises?"

"You're one to talk," Kara laughed.

"What did I do?"

"I don't know. Make portal watches for my friends?"

"That was child's play once I had the equipment," Lena said dismissively.

"For you, maybe, and like 0.5% of the world's population."

"Easy nevertheless."

"Okay, what about getting my favorite place tattooed on your back?"

"All I had to do was get a decent enough image and a tattoo artist with discretion."

"Everything you've done today topped more than what I did."

"You bought me my dream house, Kara. And we've married again. This isn't a competition."

"Are you sure? Because I feel like I've won with you as my wife."

Lena groaned and dropped her head on Kara's shoulder.

"That was so cheesy."

"It doesn't make it any less true."

Lena waved off the comment and said, "You still haven't told me what my bracelet is made out of. I know it's some kind of metal, but what are these markings? They don't look complete."

"Because they aren't. When I stripped my pod, I could have very well given you a piece with Rao's blessing. It was etched on the sides of our pods long before Krypton exploded."

"Hold on, hold on." Lena lifted her head and asked, "You destroyed your pod?"

"No, no. I," Kara paused, "donated it to the Alien Culture Exhibit at the National City Museum. At least, part of it is there. Some of it is in the Fortress. But it's a six-month-long fluid exhibit, meaning that they will add more things as time goes on, but when it ends, the museum will move all of the items to the Alien Refugee Center for a more permanent display. I spoke with J'onn, expressing my concerns about the DEO having access to it, and he indirectly suggested that I find a better home for it if I felt so strongly about it."

"But why? I thought you wanted to keep it intact?"

"It is intact, technically. It might not be usable anytime soon, but most of it is still in one piece. I just – you and I both know that I won't be Supergirl forever. There will be a day when I have to hang up the cape and settle down, and I would rather have an organization that cares about aliens and alien history be responsible for my pod than the government. So I took all the important things out and removed a small piece from the outside that I melted down and made for you. As I said, it's still mostly in one piece, and this way, I always know where it is."

Kara traced the bracelet and sighed.

"When my parents put me inside, they had no idea what would happen. They didn't know if I would make it, but they gave me what they believed would be my best chance at survival. All they wanted was for me to live and be safe. And in a way, their actions directly led up to this moment. If Diana hadn't found me first, who knows where I would've ended up? If I never spent that time with her, beginning the healing process of losing my parents and my planet, who knows what would've happened to me? And despite my issues with Kal-El, his giving me to the Danvers was the right choice. Regardless of where I stand now with Eliza, or after everything that's happened between Alex and me, I owe the Danvers so much. They helped me to see the complexities of humanity and how intricate human relationships can be. And now, looking at all of these people here celebrating our union, I can confidently say my parents were successful. They did the right thing putting me in that pod because I'm more alive than I have ever been, and I've never felt safer than I am with you."

Lena kissed Kara sweetly on the lips in response, saying everything she couldn't, and Kara exhaled through her nose. They pulled away just enough to talk, and Lena rested her forehead on hers.

"I love you."

"Yeah, I kind of figured that when you agreed to marry me a second time."

Lena clicked her teeth and sat back, saying, "How can someone so sweet be so quick to ruin a moment?"

"It's a gift." Kara tightened her grip on Lena's waist to keep her from moving away and smiled. "I can't wait for the honeymoon."

"Why? So you can ruin me for anyone else?"

"Haven't I already?"

"Many, many times."

"Are you complaining?"

"Not in the least. Eat your food so you aren't cranky later."

"Yes, dear."

Ruby slipped away from the ceremony and went outside. She kicked off her shoes and made her way down to the beach, floating over the rocks and shells. When she reached the shore, Ruby stepped up to the waves and let the water wash over her feet. She closed her eyes and tilted her head back, taking slow deep breaths. Something warm was draped over her shoulders, and she turned around. Raven adjusted the cloak and made sure it was tight around Ruby's shoulders. Ruby often cursed her half-human side, but at that moment, she was grateful for it because then, she wouldn't have Raven's cloak. The one thing that only Jinx had been allowed to touch and wear for the last several months. Under the moonlight, it was strange to see how expressive Raven's eyes could be. She often hid them from everyone, even Jinx, but Ruby could see everything.

"Are you all right?" Raven asked.

"Yes, I'm fine. I'm not a fan of crowds," she murmured.

Raven flexed her fingers before grabbing Ruby's hand. Ruby bit the inside of her cheek to keep from reacting, but Raven's smile told her it didn't matter. she already knew.

"There are moments where I question what I have done in this lifetime, in any lifetime, to have someone willing to let me exist without expectations. And then you came along. You were unexpected. I was not prepared for your presence to have such an effect on me. And now, with you in my life, my one person has become two, and it has been," she paused, "overwhelming, to say the least."

"You don't have to do this," Ruby said. "What I said on the plane –

"Did you know on Azarath, it was more common to have two spouses instead of one?"

"What? I mean, no. But what –

"And did you know that Jinx is polyamorous as well? It rarely comes up in conversation, but she and I discussed what would happen if she ever found herself attracted to someone else and vice versa. We even spoke at length about what our next steps would be should we find ourselves attracted to the same person. There are a lot of moving parts to this, but that is not my point. My point is you misunderstood our response on the plane. Or lack thereof. The idea of being with you is," she paused and looked off to the side, "exciting, for lack of a better word. You are an exceptional person, someone we have grown fond of, and it was not hard to fall for you."

"Then why didn't you say anything on the plane?"

Raven sighed and looked at her. "Had we known that you were interested in us in a less platonic sense, then we would have made an effort to show you that your feelings were reciprocated long before today. But up until that moment on the plane, you never said it out loud. Even I struggled to get a handle on your emotions toward us, and while I was hopeful, I would never assume something like that. Neither of us would. You were with us, but you were not with us."

Ruby winced and said, "I'm not good with things like this. I wanted to approach the conversation differently, but I was scared."

"Why?"

"Because I've never felt this before. My relationship experience comes down to dudes who think the best way to get my attention is to tell me how hot I am. It's all been superficial and shallow, and then you two come along and make me feel like I matter. I feel safe with you, both of you, and I didn't know if it was because I hadn't had a lot of friends or experience, or if it was something more."

"And?"

"That's it. I didn't know, and then when I did know, I got scared."

"Of us?" Raven shifted her feet. "Or of me?" she asked.

"Neither. I was afraid of being rejected."

"How could someone ever reject you?"

"It's happened before, trust me." Ruby snorted derisively and looked toward the house. She rolled her eyes and added, "Also, my Mom is watching us with that weird look in her eyes."

"Yes, I know," Raven said simply. "I asked for her permission to come out here and speak to you."

"What? Why?"

"I wanted her to know that we were serious about courting you."

"You – wait, what?"

Raven stepped forward and cupped her face, hesitating only a second before pressing her lips against hers.

"Are you watching them kiss? That's a little weird."

"Of course, I am," Sam scoffed. "Wait, why are you up here and not down there?"

"Because Raven is the one that needed to reassure her, not me." Jinx sipped at her drink and leaned against the wall. "Plus, I would've skipped all the talking and gone straight to the kissing part," she said.

"That's still my child."

"I thought you wanted us to be more honest?" Jinx grinned and started walking toward the beach. "Oh, and Kara's looking for you, by the way."

"Why?"

"Don't know. But you would've known that had you not been spying on your child."

"I am not spying."

"Yeah, you kind of are."

Sam took no pleasure in flipping off a teenager, but she did, and Jinx took it in stride. The sorcerer flicked her wrist, causing a minor rockslide that allowed her to slide down to the beach faster, and Sam tried not to think about how her daughter had not one, but two insanely powerful girlfriends at her beck and call. Jinx pushed Raven to the side and jumped into Ruby's arms. Her daughter squealed, a sound of pure happiness that Sam hadn't heard in a long time, and she sighed in resignation. Sam turned and went back into the house, running into Kara.

"There you are!" Sam rubbed her ears meaningfully, and Kara rolled her eyes, adding, "I've been calling your name for the last five minutes. So forgive me if I think your hearing's a little broken."

"I was making sure everything –

"You were spying on Ruby as she got the girls of her dreams, I know."

"I wanted to make sure they were serious," Sam said defensively.

"Okay, listen. I don't know how you feel because I don't have kids yet. But I know you, and I know Ruby. You raised a brilliant girl who knows better than to jump into a relationship if she's not ready. And Raven and Jinx aren't the types of people to take this kind of risk unless they've thought through every outcome. If they're all on the same page, and there's an understanding of what's to come, then trust Ruby to make the choice that's best for her. And trust Raven and Jinx to take care of her the same way they expected to be taken care of."

Sam sighed and slumped forward, dropping her head on Kara's shoulder.

"I'm not ready to let go," she murmured.

"Who said anything about letting go? Ruby's not going anywhere just because she's getting into a relationship."

"What if she doesn't want to come around anymore?"

"Are you kidding? That girl loves you, and she loves being around you. If anything, you should be more worried about how much time you're going to be spending with Raven and Jinx." Sam groaned, and Kara snickered. "Oh, calm down. You'll be fine. She'll be fine. We'll all be fine. Now, let's go do the thing," she said.

"What thing?" Sam asked, standing up straight.

"Our thing."

"Which thing?"

Kara huffed and dragged Sam toward the middle of the dance floor.

"Have I ever told you how much I want to smash your head into the wall?"

"It's been mentioned once or twice, yes," Sam said slowly. "Why are we going to the dance floor?"

"Best place to do the thing."

"I still don't know what thing you're talking about, but fine, I'm following you. Let's do the thing."
