HEROES OF TOMORROW

Issue #25: All for One

Vlad King was able to call emergency services not too long after the villains left. It took some time, as it was a remote area of the forest, but the ambulances arrived just in time to save the students that were severely injured. At the same time, fire planes flew in rows to put out the fires.

However, nothing could have saved the kids that were unharmed in the attack from the dread, the anger, and the overwhelming concern that they all felt in their hearts.

This was by far one of the worst events to have befallen UA and its students.

Of the 40 students that were at the summer camp, 15 were unconscious and were seriously injured due to the gas attack. Eleven others would be injured by the villains that tried to kill them. 13 would come out of the experience unharmed, but they didn't feel like the lucky ones. Pixie-Bob was in serious condition because of her blow to the head. 3 villains would be captured and arrested; Muscular, Mustard, and Moonfish.

Those students that were unharmed in the attack could only watch as their classmates, Hagakure, Jiro, and Momo, were being loaded into ambulances. Momo suffered from her head injury, and the other two were knocked out by the gas. All three were in serious condition. For Monoma, who was with the remedial class when the attack occurred, was feeling much worse as he watched so many of his classmates being taken away after suffering the same attack.

However, they were all likely to make it and survive. The same could not be said for two people. One of which was on the minds of everyone at the camp.

Wade Walker, a student of U.A., and Ragdoll, a Pro-Hero, was declared missing. Kidnapped by the villains that escaped thanks to the warp villain, Kurogiri.

As the door to the ambulance closed and drove off, Shoto looked to his right. He could see the three remaining girls of his class sitting together on a log. Ochaco and Mina were sobbing uncontrollably together, as Tsuyu tried her best to comfort them.

Ochaco and Tsuyu arrived on the scene just after Wade disappeared through the portal. Shoto, who could only speak while still in shock, told them. The brunette was devastated, crying out to the heavens in anguish. When they got back to camp, they told the teacher and others the bad news. Mina didn't take it too well either, and started crying with her fellow girlfriend. In their heads, they remembered Tomura Shigaraki's words.

"You should try to be careful, friend. The next time we meet, I'll likely have to kill you."

In their minds, they knew that Shigaraki would keep his word. That he would kill Wade, and they were helpless to stop him. It was a feeling that was shared by everyone.

The summer training camp was nothing more than a disaster.

As for Wade himself, he was far from being in a good place.

Slowly, Wade began to open his eyes when he heard the sound of voices. A groggy groan escaped his throat as he regained his consciousness. He winced in pain as he felt his body being in some kind of restraint. Wade looked down and saw his arms were close together, with some kind of box around them.

When his vision refocused, he saw that it was a large metal handcuff that encased his arms in a large chasing, with belts on his wrists keeping them together. Wade looked around to see he was strapped to a large chair that had his legs fastened to the chair's and his body completely immobilized.

Remembering what had happened and how he got here, Wade slowly shook his head to get whatever dizziness he had out of his head. He lifted his head and looked at his surroundings. To his surprise, it wasn't that much of an evil lair as it was a bar. The only light was the one that shined from the other side of the shelf that had all the booze. There were very few tables, and then there was the bar counter.

And standing around the place were the villains, including Shigaraki and Kurogiri.

"Crap…" Wade groaned. There were no other words he could better describe how screwed he was.

"Oh! He's awake, Shigaraki!" Toga said from behind the bar, looking at the boy with a loving expression and a blush on her face. It creeped Wade out.

The other villains turned their heads to look at Wade, but their leader didn't. "Shush. I want to hear more." Shigaraki said as he turned up the volume on the TV. Wade looked to see he was watching the news.

"It would appear that the principal behind the UA High training camp attack called themselves the League of Villains' Vanguard Action Squad. The League was previously involved in the USJ attack and the Hosu Incident—"

Shigaraki changed the channel.

"The youngest victim in the training camp attack is reportedly the son Pro Heroes Water Hose, who were killed by Muscular in a tragic—"

He changed the channel again.

"It's perfectly obvious to me that there's some sort of problem with UA's current management. If I had a child who wanted to become a Hero, there's no way I'd enroll them in a school that'll—"

The villain then turned off the TV, cackling with pleasure with what the news reported. Even though the outcome of the attack wasn't as he'd expected it to be, with the V.A.S. not having captured Bakugo. Everything was working out much better than he could have hoped for.

"I'm so grateful to the media for all the free publicity lately." Said the villain with glee in his voice, placing the remote down next to Wade's web-shooters they took them off him a while ago. Shigaraki then turned to face Wade. "Right? Isn't it nice, Wade Walker?"

Wade said nothing. He only glared at Shigaraki, shooting daggers at him through his eyes. Clearly he was restraining his anger, but anyone could wonder what's on his mind right now, maybe imagining how much he wanted to beat him up just to wipe that stupid smirk off his face.

"Oh, what's the matter? No witty comebacks? No quips? No clever observations? Honestly, I'm deeply hurt, Wade." Shigaraki said, placing his hand on his chest.

"I'm not hurting you yet, Shigaraki. Get me out of this chair—" Wade pulled against his binding. Turned out the chair was bolted to the wall, so when Wade pulled forward, he began pulling the chair out of the wall. "—and I'll show you how much of a hurting I put on you!"

A gun was pointed at his head and Dabi ignited a ball of blue fire in his hand. Wade turned to his left and saw his father was the one pointing the gun at him, glaring at him coldly as he did so.

"I wouldn't be so eager to fight, Wade. Why don't we all just be friends, and get along like a happy family." Shigaraki replied snidely, as the hostage reluctantly got back to his seat.

"I've got one person from my family in this room!" Wade proclaimed, glaring at the villain again. "What the hell did you and All for One do to him!"

"Oh, Ghost?" Shigaraki chuckled, much to Wade's displeasure. "Really, you should be thanking us, Wade. He was dying, and we saved his life. Gave him a new purpose, and allowed him to serve something greater than himself."

"Yeah, nothing like serving a man-child that has a hand fetish." Wade replied with an unamused look.

There was a short snort, before Twice started laughing hysterically, though that just annoyed the rest of the villains besides Toga.

"Shut the hell up, you idiot." Dabi said in his gruff voice. He then looked back at Wade. "And I would watch what you say if I were you, unless you want to be burnt to a crisp."

"Aw, what's the matter tough guy?" Wade mockingly asked. "So what's your story? Let me guess, did you play with fire and burnt your face off? Mommy and daddy sure didn't love to see your ugly face again, did they?"

Dabi glared and his left arm started to catch on fire with his blue flames.

"Ha!" Twice laughed out loud. "He's got you! Struck a nerve, did he? Dude…uncool."

"Stand down, Dabi!" Spinner said, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. "We're trying to uphold the values that Stain had. The same principles that brought us all together. Wade Walker was worthy of being left—"

"Yeah, I think you should be less worried about what that psychopath had to say." Wade said, glaring. However, he then smirked. "After all, you should be telling people that 15 minutes can save them 15 percent or more on car insurance."

"I AM NOT THAT GODDAMN GECKO FROM THAT STUPID COMMERCIAL!" Spinner yelled.

"Yeesh, and I thought I struck a nerve with Aloe Vera over there."

Kurogiri then spoke up to calm everyone in the room down. "Let's all try and calm ourselves." He said before being cut off by Wade.

"Yeah, I'm far from being calm, thank you. I've got a gun pointed at my head by my brainwashed father and in a room with some really messed up people right now." Wade said, rolling his eyes. "Not to mention I just woke up with a bowling ball sized headache."

"I'm getting a headache just listening to this kid." Magne said, rubbing her temple.

"Oh, well, in that case, I can keep going, sir." Wade said with a smirk.

"I'm a woman, you ass!" The transgender yelled furious.

Wade raised an eyebrow and looked her up and down. "You know what, the talking cloud's right. I'm feeling a little thirsty. Why don't we all get something to drink? I mean, that's what people do under interrogation in some movies, right?"

All of a sudden, Toga appeared next to him. Wade's eyes widened and his cheeks flared up when she placed herself on his right knee. "I can always give you something to drink, Wade~" She cooed with a disturbing 'cute' look.

"...You're not wearing underwear, are you?"

"Maybe~"

"Okay, is it possible to get a restraining order on this chick?!" Wade yelled, leaning back in his back, trying to get away from the crazy girl as much as possible.

"ENOUGH!" Shigaraki yelled, slamming his hand on the stool he was sitting on when he stood up, disintegrating it into a pile of dust. Toga quickly got up and jumped back behind the counter, poking her head out to see her boss stalking towards her crush. "Do you remember what I told you last time? That I would likely have to kill you." Shigaraki said venomously.

"Then why am I still alive?" Wade asked with a frown.

"Oh, don't get me wrong, I'd like to kill you very much. However, you have a bigger role to play in the future. For now, we'll keep you alive for as long as you're needed. And depending on what we decide, we'll either kill you, or let you live."

"But not let me go, right?" Wade guessed, raising an eyebrow.

"You're really a smart one. For now, let's just sit back and enjoy the show." Shigaraki said, before going back, pulling out a new stool, and turning back on the TV. Relishing in the bliss he felt seeing the public, angry and fed up, turning their backs on U.A. and the Heroes they were blindly worshiping.

Wade sighed to himself. "Huh, perfect." He stated exasperatedly. Stuck in a room with up to 9 villains with powerful and unknown Quirks. With one of them being his father, and no one knew where he was.

He had to figure out a way to escape.

"When are you going to open the gate?!"

"We hear your silence!"

"When can we expect an official statement from UA's administration?!"

"Has anyone been in contact with the families of the children you've allowed to be in danger?!"

It was still summer vacation the next day. But it was anything but a pleasant day for U.A.. When word of the attack spread, the media descended on the school like a swarm of locusts. Unsurprisingly, U.A. was facing a high amount of scrutiny from news outlets. Only this time, it was far worse. Not only have they allowed an organized group of villains to attack and put their students in critical danger, but one student was kidnapped. People were fed up with the villains always being able to get the upper hand. Now everything about the school was called into question in the outbreak of this scandal.

The people of the media continued to yell at the school for someone to come out and answer their questions. However, there was no one to hear them. The halls were devoid of life and the classrooms were clean and tidy. Ready for the students to return to class.

The only people inside the school were the people that felt the full weight of their failure.

"That training camp was meant to prepare students to handle villain attacks. The irony is shameful." Principal Nezu said. The teacher held a meeting in the Meeting Room to go over what just happened and what they could do. However, the situation has completely stumped them. "We knew the League would resurface, but we lacked the fundamental understanding of their plans. They aim to destroy Hero Society, and they've already started their war on all of us."

Midnight looked down at her hands with a frown. What she heard from the reports troubled her deeply, especially when she heard that not only did Ghost reappear, but that he was one of the villains that took Wade. Now doubt in her mind they used the knowledge of the father to lure Wade to them.

"Even if we had understood, could we really have avoided this attack? They're moving pieces we didn't even know they possessed." The R-Rated Heroine said, trying her best to maintain her professionalism. However, that was proving difficult to do. She lifted her head up to look at her boss. "Besides, All Might put an end to most organized crime. We're all rusty."

"We've definitely gotten complacent during peaceful times without realizing it," Present Mic replied. "I guess deep down all of us thought that we'd be riding the sweet life for good."

Midnight sighed and then turned to her right to look at the person in the room that was hit the hardest. More so than even her.

All Might was absolutely devastated when he got the news of the attack and Wade's kidnapping, it killed him inside when he learned of it. He thought that Wade would have been safe at camp and away from Shigaraki and Ghost until they could find them. But now his successor went into the jaws of the enemy and All Might feared the worst to come.

Racked with guilt, he sat at the table with his hands over his head. "I will never forgive myself for such cowardly ignorance." He said in shame. "While our students were fighting desperately for their lives, I was just having a relaxing soak in the bath."

"We should never have had the Sports Festival right after the USJ attack. We wanted to show that we were still strong, but all it did was give the villains all the information they needed to know about the students." Snipes clenched his fists in frustration. "To have a student kidnapped is our greatest failure as teachers. They've taken Walker and society's faith in Heroes away from us."

"But that doesn't explain why Wade and Bakugo were targeted." Midnight said, slamming her hands on the table. "What could they have gained from it?"

"I have a hunch on Bakugo." Nezu responded as he held up a tablet that had an article about the Sports Festival. In it was a picture of Bakugo when he was muzzled and chained like an animal. "It's likely because the villains noticed his violent tendencies during the Sports Festival broadcast. In their mind, his actions and attitude would best fit with their group."

"What about Wade?" Midnight asked with a worried look.

Nezu smiled at the woman and asked her. "Isn't it obvious? You've known him longer than most of us. Of all our students, Wade Walker is this school's best prospect since All Might. Ever since his first day, I've seen so much potential in him out of the new batch of first years. He's been in more conflicts than any student and always manages to win every time. It's clear why they took him. The uproar generated from him being taken has been enormous. Especially when it's by the League of Villains. And if they could turn him, it would be the end of UA as a school, and it would shatter the very faith people have in Heroes."

"With all due respect, sir, that would never happen. " All Might said, lifting his head up with an expression of absolute certainty. "Even if they used his father against him, Wade would never fall to evil."

Midnight smiled at her fellow teacher gratefully. It was great to see that someone had the same level of faith she had in Wade. And hearing the Number 1 Hero say that put her mind at ease.

However, the conversation took an unexpected turn when Present Mic spoke up. "Since we're on the topic of trust, there's something I think has to be voiced now." He said to the others. "At this point, there's no denying it. We have a traitor in this school."

That stunned the other teachers who looked at him with wide eyes.

"Think about it, only the teacher and the Pussycats knew about the location of the camp," Present Mic continued, standing up in anger. "Don't you think that's a little suspicious? I guess a kid could've used their phone to message a villain. One that they knew—"

"Mic, don't you dare go there!" Midnight said sternly. In her mind, she knew that he was likely going to say Wade contacted Daniel.

"I was just using Walker as an example! What's the problem with all of you?! We have to find who the infiltrator is!" He shouted.

"Could be you for all we know." Snipe said. "You got any proof that you're 100% innocent? Can we know that everyone in this room is an ally?" Losing the argument, Present Mic groaned and sat back into his chair. He glanced at Midnight, who easily frightened him with her death glare. "If we start doubtin' each other, we'll destroy ourselves from the inside. Accusing a traitor isn't somethin' we should take lightly."

"At the very least, I trust everyone sitting at this table." Nezu said with confidence. "Though, there's also no way for me to prove to all of you that I am innocent. For the moment, what we must do as a school is concentrate on guaranteeing the safety of our student body. This is a good time to implement something I've wanted to put in place for a while. You see, I…"

"A phone call is here! A phone call is here!" All of a sudden, All Might's phone started ringing, gaining the attention of everyone in the room. Embarrassed, All Might looked to see who was calling him. He quickly silenced the phone and looked up.

"Sorry, I need to take this." All Might said, standing up.

"We're in the middle of a meeting!" Present Mic exclaimed. "Come on, man!"

"He has his own ringtone?" Midnight asked as All Might sheepishly walked out of the room.

Outside in the hallway, All Might stood in silence. He hated himself so much. Putting Wade in so much danger by giving him One for All and now the boy's in mortal danger. There's no telling if the League knows he has the power, but he can only assume they do.

What kind of Hero was he if couldn't even keep his successor from harm's way? He wanted to go now and find him, but all that'll do is waste time when he doesn't even know where the villains are. Some Symbol of Peace he was turning out to be. He couldn't even keep his students safe.

'Please, Wade. Just hold on just a little while longer.'

Then he answered his phone. "What is it, Tsukauchi?"

"We've finally finished taking comprehensive statements from Aizawa and Vlad King, and I think we've found something. It's possible we have a lead on where the League of Villains are hiding."

All Might's eyes widened in shock when he heard this. "Really? Are you serious?" He asked, wanting to know everything at that moment.

"That's right. About two weeks ago, I sent an officer around to gather information. A bystander pointed out that he'd seen two men entering a building that was supposed to be vacant. One of them had a patchwork face that appeared to be in his 20s. We didn't find any plausible matches when we checked criminal records. We spoke with the owner of the building, though, and found that there's a sort of hidden bar there. My man thought it was unrelated to our kidnapping case, and didn't investigate further. But remember the description of that villain from the attack? He had a patchwork face.

"And then, just this morning, we were given a call from the same man that we interviewed. At first, he didn't know who the other man was when he entered the building. However, just after news of the attack hit, he instantly recognized that the second man was Daniel Walker."

"Given the profile of this crime, we'll move as soon as we get the green light. This is a top secret mission, so I'm only telling you because I know you'll want in on the plan, considering your relationship with Wade. We plan to ask for cooperation from many Pro Heroes for this rescue, and inevitable cleanup mission. All Might, we need your power."

All Might stood in a hallway in silence. They found it. They actually found the villains' hideout. The same villains that have been hurting and hunting his students when they started their Hero training. The same villains that are using an innocent man as their puppet. The same villains that have taken his successor—no, his friend.

In that moment, all the bad thoughts of what Wade was likely enduring turned his worry and dread into righteous fury and determination. Finally, after all these months, he knew where they were hiding from justice. After hours of waiting for something to happen, he knew where Wade was being held captive. And maybe, after all these years, he'll know where All for One has been.

"All Might?"

The Number One Hero was pumped. He was ready to go kick ass. So much righteous determination filled his soul that he grew into his muscle form. "Tsukauchi. You're a wonderful friend. And I know just what I'll say when I find them. 'I am here…to make you pay for what you've done!'"

Ever since the incident two days ago, the UA staff thought this time it would be best to grant a day off to all the students of Class A-1 and B-1, considering they had a really bad night that they need some time to recover both physically and mentally. For some, it meant sending time with family and friends. For others, it meant remaining in the hospital to recover.

This was the situation Momo found herself in. Wearing a hospital gown with her forehead covered in bandages, she sat on her hospital bed while looking at the bright day outside through the large window. After the incident, the paramedics rushed her and her friends to the hospital that was nearest to the training camp. She'd woken up just yesterday, suffering from cuts and bruises from her fight with Ghost. The biggest injury was the blow to her head, but it would heal without any lasting damage.

However, if one was to look at her right now, and see her miserable expression and red eyes, they'd know that she'd been crying.

When the police and All Might came to get her recount of the event that had taken place, the Number 1 Hero regretfully informed his student that Wade was gone. Kidnapped by the villains in an effort to save Bakugo. Just like Ochaco and Mina, she was devastated when she heard the news. However, she tried to keep herself composed as she spoke to the officers.

When they left, however, Momo broke down in tears. She cried herself to sleep that night. Dread filled her heart, even now, at the thought of Wade being in the hands of the villains. She knew Shigaraki would keep his word and kill Wade, and the thought of her hero being taken from her crushed Momo.

During her fight with Ghost, she was helpless to stop him from taking Ragdoll. She felt so weak. Momo wasn't like Wade. She couldn't lift cars or swing around the city. The girl fought Ghost on instinct, but she knew now that it was a fight she couldn't win.

Momo closed her eyes, silently praying that what she gave All Might would help Wade before the unthinkable happened.

There was a knocking at her door, before it slid up. On the other side, Kaminari looked into the room and smiled when he saw she was awake. "Oh, hey! When did you get up, Yaomomo?" He asked, happy to see she was awake.

"Yesterday in the afternoon." Momo said, watching as the electric boy opened the door wider. To the busty Vice Rep's surprise, all of Class 1-A walked into her hospital room. All that were unharmed in the attack or at the very least able to walk.

"Did you hear about what's going on at the school?" Sato asked as they gathered around her bed. The last person to enter the room was Bakugo. With his usual sour look, he slammed the door shut and walked over to lean his back against the wall. "Reporters are swarming all over the place. It's worse than last time."

"Yes… I heard." Momo said, looking over at a TV hanging down from the ceiling in a corner. It was turned off, but that was only after Momo decided she didn't want to hear anymore of the news.

"We're so happy to see you're okay." Ochaco said, sitting down at the end of the bed with Mina standing next to her. They were the most worried out of the class for Momo's well being. Having just lost their boyfriend, they didn't want to lose their fellow girlfriend.

"I brought a present! I mean it's from all of us." Mineta said, holding up a melon. In Japan, the fruit was a luxury item that was given as a gift.

"Uh, thank you." said Momo as she took it and placed it on the nightstand.

"I wanted to find one that matched your size—" Mineta was cut off when Kirishima karate chopped his head.

"Dude, seriously? Now's not the time." He said, wearing a scowl.

Momo looked at everyone before asking. "Is everyone from class here?"

"I'm afraid not," Iida said gravely. The light reflecting off his glasses hid his frowning eyes. The others wore expressions of concern as they thought about those that couldn't be there with them. "Jiro and Hagakure are still out. That villain's poisonous gas knocked the two of them out. You're the first person to wake up, so we all came to visit. Though obviously we wished the whole class could be here."

"Right now it's only 15 of us…" Mina said, fiddling with her thumbs.

"Because Wade is gone." Todoroki said in a blunt tone, but deep down he was just as upset about the situation as the others. Having witnessed it in person.

Bakugo didn't say anything. Only remaining silent as the conversation continued.

"Dude, don't say that out loud!" Kaminari exclaimed before turning to the hospital bed. Getting worried when he saw Ochaco and Mina looking like they were going to cry again.

Momo looked down at her bedsheets and clenched them in her fists on her lap. This wasn't right. None of this was right. They were only teenagers in high school. They weren't even licensed Heroes. Why were they forced into these situations?

Kirishima walked up to Momo and he said to her, "Momo, there's something we need from you."

Snapping out her thoughts, Momo looked at the redhead with a confused and curious expression. "What is it?"

"Don't be mad, but I was here with Bakugo, and so was Todoroki." He said, with Shoto nodding his head.

"I only came because you wanted me to!" Bakugo yelled at him.

"You didn't say no." Todoroki said. "I came because I couldn't just sit at home and do nothing. I wanted to see how you, Jiro, and Hagakure were doing. I met up with Kirishima and Bakugo and we headed to your room."

"That's when we saw All Might and that police officer talking to each other." Kirishima picked up the explanation from there. "We heard about how you created a track for Ragdoll and saw you gave the receiver that would direct him to where she is."

Momo gasped a little. They heard about that? It was the only thing she could've done at that moment. All Might even praised her for her quick thinking. However, it still frustrated her that she couldn't do more to help, maybe she could've done something to save her lover from being kidnapped.

"Is it possible for you to make another one?" Todoroki asked the creation girl.

This drew a gasp from everyone, except Kirishima and Bakugo. They looked at the ice-fire user and the hardening boy with wide eyes that expressed their complete shock. They weren't prepared to hear that from Todoroki. But their shock came from the implications of the question.

"Wait, what are you saying?" Sero said anxiously. Almost afraid to know what the answer is.

"Are you extras that dense?" Everyone turned to Bakugo as he glared at the ground, gritting his teeth in annoyance. "Don't act like you can't already figure it out."

Bakugo then turned his head and glared at his classmates.

"We're going to save that bug."

The other students looked at Bakugo with wide eyes and their jaws hanging down. They couldn't be serious. This had to be a prank they were pulling. At least, that's what they wished they were doing. However, just looking at the expressions of Todoroki and Kirishima told them all what they needed to know.

"Is that why you're asking for another receiver?" Tenya asked, scowling as he stared at Todoroki and Kirishima.

While the redhead averted his eyes away from the Class Rep, Todoroki stared back and narrowed his eyes slightly. "And what if it is?" The son of Endeavor replied.

Iida gritted his teeth. The conversation he had with Manual resurfaced in his mind. He remembered how much trouble he and the Heroes they were interning with got punished for him and his friends fighting Stain when they weren't supposed to. And now these three were thinking about doing the same mistake he did?

"Have you idiots forgotten what All Might said?! This is a serious matter that we have to leave to the professionals to deal with it! We can't just get involved and make things worse than they already are!" He yelled at the two boys in front of him, startling the others with how angry he was getting.

"Maybe, but all I know is that I couldn't do anything at camp!" Kirishima yelled back at him as he grabbed his chest. "I heard that villains were attacking, and I could do nothing. I heard my friends were hurt, and I could do nothing. And then when I heard that my friend was targeted and was taken, I could do nothing! I just stood by helplessly, just like I am right now! How can I call myself a man or a Hero if I just do it again?!"

"Kirishima, calm down!" Kaminari said, putting a finger to his lips. "We're in a hospital."

"What Iida said is true though. We're still incapable of dealing with this kind of situation." Tsuyu added as she placed a finger to her chin.

Momo swallowed the lump in her throat and said, "So, you want me to make the receiver to track the villains down and rescue Wade? All by yourselves?"

Kirishima nodded to her. "Yeah, that's the plan."

"The villains that attacked the camp planned to kill some of us. However, they wanted to take Wade alive, along with Bakugo." Todoroki said, looking over at the exploder. Bakugo scoffed and looked away. "We don't know why they wanted him, but we can't be certain they'll live for long. It's been two days since the attack, and who knows what they're doing to him. That's why we're going."

Mina walked around the bed and stopped in front of Todoroki. "I'm coming with you!" She said with a look of determination.

This would cause the others to look at her in shock and confusion. However, it caused Iida to become more furious. "Have the four of you lost your mind?!" He shouted at them. "Don't you remember what happened during the Stain incident, Todoroki!? You're really going to make that same mistake again?!

"Oh, would you shut the fuck up, Tenya?!" Mina suddenly whirled around and shouted at him. This sudden outburst completely took Iida by surprise, and left everyone else, who were silent for the most part, speechless. Even Kirishima, who had known the happy go-lucky girl the longest, was surprised. "You were just as fucking helpless as I and Kirishima was! When the villains attacked, all I could do what just stand in a stupid classroom and wait for things to get better, just because I couldn't pass the final exam. I already felt like a failure then, but now I feel like I'm useless! If I didn't fail and if I was out there with all of you, I could have helped fight the villains. But I couldn't! And now my boyfriend, the coolest, kindest, and best person I ever know was taken by the villains, and only God knows what they're doing to him as we speak!" The tears already welled up in her eyes as the horrible possible scenario clouded her mind.

"Mina, please calm down!" Ochaco quickly got up and placed her hands on her friend's shoulders, while Shoji put his arm out in front of Iida to stop him.

"Iida, I get how frustrated Kirishima and Mina are and how Todoroki and Bakugo feel since they were helpless." Shoji said to the Class Rep. "I'm angry too, but we can't let our emotions get the best of us. Think about it from Wade's point of view. He did what he did so Bakugo wouldn't suffer. He would have done the same for all of us in a heartbeat."

Mina looked down as she thought about what Shoji said. She knew that he was right, but her heart was telling her to go.

With no one else talking, Aoyama saw his chance to speak up. "Um. We should leave this to All Might." He said nervously. "We were only given permission to fight back at the training camp."

"That didn't stop the bug from doing it." Bakugo said, crossing his arms.

"But that was because he didn't have a choice." Tokoyami replied, closing his eyes thoughtfully. "However, Aoyama is correct. Though, I can't really talk, as I was part of the reason we failed."

Getting annoyed, Kirishima exclaimed, "You guys are serious?!"

"Listen," Tsuyu spoke. Everyone turned to the little frog girl as she spoke her mind to the group. "We're all shocked that Wade was taken from us, but we have to be rational. Your intentions are noble, but if you do this, even though you know you're breaking the rules, then you're acting like villains. Not Heroes."

All of them stayed silent as they processed that information. Unsure of what to do. They wanted to go and help their friend, but the thought of them being like the villains made them stop and think. If they broke the rules, it was game over for them. U.A. was already getting enough backlash as it is. It didn't need anymore. However, the thought of Wade being hurt poisoned their minds. For those that haven't decided what to do, it was a battle between their minds and their hearts.

"So that's it then?" Bakugo asked, gaining the attention of everyone. He scowled at them, though there was a hilt of smugness in his expression. "Y'all just gonna let the bug die so you don't break the rules and be good little boys and girls? Some friends y'all turned out to be."

Silence fell on the room as they all looked at him in shock, though others were appalled.

Just then a knock at the door startled Aoyama. It was pulled to the side and a doctor came in. "Sorry to bother you all, but I'll need to look at Yaoyorozu's head injury."

Bakugo scoffed as he walked towards the door. "What a waste of time." He grumbled.

The other students started following him. However, before Kirishima could leave, Momo stopped him. "Wait, Kirishima." He turned to see her looking at him with a determined expression. Then she said, "I'll do it. I want to help too."

With a grateful smile, he turned back to her. "If you're able to come, we'll do it tonight. I know you're still suffering from that head injury, so if you can't go, I understand. If you can't come, we'll send someone up to collect the receiver. If you can, we'll meet in front of the hospital after dark."

Momo nodded to Kirishima. However, unbeknownst to them, someone had heard what they said.

If there were two good things that the villains provided for Wade was a room with a bed to rest on. However, that was it. It was just an empty storage closet with a small bed for him to sleep on. The second thing was they fed him, and he couldn't just refuse the gesture since he was starving.

When people think of lobster, they think that the people know how to cook it, or that they're rich enough to have someone serve it to them. Wade heard that lobster used to be served to inmates on death row at one point in history as their last meal. Maybe that's what they were going with, but he didn't care. The mist villain gave him all the bells and whistles for his dinner. A Red Lobster kind of meal.

Too bad they didn't have the biscuits.

Wade finished eating the tail before sighing and leaning his back against the wall. All day he just sat there, with the only thing keeping him from dying of heat was the vent above his head blowing cool air, but it was too small for him.

Reality was there was no way of getting out without alerting the villains. He had to be smart about his escape plan. Wade couldn't just go out fighting everyone. He wasn't allowed to use his Quirk without the express permission from his teacher or without a Hero license. Both of which he had neither of.

In his mind Wade couldn't help but think that Bakugo wouldn't even bother with the idea of escaping stealthily. It was who he is, and it's a part of what made him the biggest pain in the ass. And yet is also something that Wade admired about him. His inability to just quit.

Wade didn't regret saving Bakugo. Even with their differences, Wade still would have done it again and again. But if there was one thing that he did regret about the predicament he was in, was the people he was likely hurting. He had no doubt they were worried about him. His girlfriends were likely worried sick about him. And Inko?

Wade didn't want to think about the anxiety attack she was likely having right now. Her, Nemurai, and All Might. They were all likely so worried about him. It made Wade hate himself thinking the kind of pain he was causing everyone by being here.

"Time's up. It's my turn."

Wade's eyes widened when he heard Ghost's voice on the other side.

"Aaaaaw, but I want to be here longer!" Toga whined.

"Go."

With his hearing, Wade heard a pair of feet walk away. They weren't the same heavy footsteps that came down the hall seconds ago, so it means Toga just left.

Wade looked up at the door in front of him. It was the only thing standing between him and seeing his father. This was it. Possibly the one chance that he'll have to talk to him, to try and help him remember who he was and who used to be. It was a long shot, but Wade would take it.

"Hey, dad. Long time no see."

There was no response.

Wade scoffed lightly and looked down at the floor. "Right, not the talkative type anymore, are you?" He said. Wade looked up again and stared at the door. "You know, it's been a while since you and I talked. Do you remember that night? Do you remember anything at all before they messed up your head?"

Still no response.

"To put it simply, we didn't exactly leave on good terms. And I don't just mean the Sludge Villain incident, though I am completely to be blamed for that." Wade said shamefully as tears started welling up in his eyes.

Still no response.

"Dad, I just need you to know, even if you don't know who I am and you don't remember who you used to be, I am so sorry." Wade said as his voice started breaking. Tears ran down his face as he clenched his eyes shut. The many words that he wanted to say to Daniel poured out of his soul as he cried. "For everything... For all the hurtful things I said to you. I never should have said them. Not to you! And most of all, I am so sorry for what has happened to you. It's all my fault. If I had done something in the first place, that bastard would never have broken free and killed you. Everything bad that happened that day was my fault and you have every reason to hate me. I just… I need you to know that I am forever thankful to have you as my father."

Still no response.

Wade stared at the metal door for a moment before his anger started to boil. "Though I highly doubt you care, Ghost. That's your name right?" He asked, jumping up from the bed and knocking his dinner off his lap, causing the plate to break on the floor. "The name that sick son of a bitch All for One gave you? Right? Well I don't care if that's your name now! You're not a villain. You're not a murderer. You're Daniel Walker! You're Daring Dan, the Quirkless Fighter! My father, who has tried to give me every possible opportunity in life and never stopped believing in me! That's who you are, dammit!" He pounded his fists on the door, denting it with his superhuman strength with each strike. "Remember, dad! Please! Remember who you are! Remember me!"

Wade panted as he stopped. He leaned on the door as tried to regain his breath. That was when he heard the door's lock coming undone. Wade stepped back, thinking that he had broken through to his father and had gotten a response from him.

But when the door opened, Mr. Compress tapped Wade's forehead with his fingers. His quirk, Compress, activated. Wade's body glowed in a bright blue light before his body was shrunken down and compressed into a small marble. It fell to the ground, but the villain caught it.

"My, my, now that was truly a remarkable performance, Walker." Compress said and he looked at the marble. "I have to admit, I almost felt sorry for you. Almost."

The villain chuckled to himself as he walked away with Wade in hand. Ghost, who was leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, followed. But as he followed, Ghost glanced at marble as Compress held it between his index finger and thumb. The things that the prisoner said seemed to get to the villain and it irked him. Mainly because of the questions that were forming in his head. This boy was so adamant that he was his father, but Ghost had no family. His life started with his master, and it will end with his master. He had no other purpose in life than to serve the one who gave him that purpose.

Ghost pushed those thoughts out of his head and decided to focus on the mission. But he knew that he would have to return to his master. He's gone without a reprogram for too long. Longer than he normally would have. When this is all over, and when the boy dies, he will be nothing more than a passing thought.

It didn't take too long before the doctor told Momo she's now discharged from the hospital. All he recommended was for her to take it easy and don't do anything too crazy for a few days. Even though what she was about to do would be in direct violation of that order.

Momo was determined to get her boyfriend back, but a part of her was still hesitant to go through with this. No doubt her family was worried about her and would want her home as soon as she was discharged. But this was something she couldn't just walk out on. The busty girl could only imagine what Wade was going through right now, and it sickened her to think of the torment the League of Villains were inflicting on him.

She knew he was strong and could take care of himself, but in her gut, Momo felt the need to go and do something. Whether it was her love for Wade or something else she didn't know, but she had a chance to help.

As the sun setted and the city lit up with lights, Momo finished putting on her clothes and was about to walk out of the room when she heard a knocking at her hospital room door.

"Come in." She called out. The door slid open and she was surprised to see who it was.

"Hey…" Ochaco said, nervously smiling.

"What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at home?" Momo asked with a hint of surprise.

"Well… Kirishima said to either get you or to get something that you made…" Ochaco trailed off, still nervous.

"He sent you?" Momo asked. "But why?"

For a moment, Ochaco was silent. But then she looked into Momo's eyes and said with conviction. "I want to go with you too."

"W-What?!" Momo exclaimed, looking at Ochaco as if she had grown a second head.

The normally bubbly girl sighed before explaining herself. "I've been thinking about it really hard, and while I'm still unsure about it, and even though I agree with the rest of the class that this is too reckless, I just kept asking myself, 'what would Wade do?' And, well…you know Wade. Always so reckless, yet so determined. When I learned about his capture, I felt so sick with myself. Because I knew that I helped get him captured because I used my Quirk to help him. The blame of his capture is also on me. I want to make it up to him by taking this chance and using my power to rescue him."

Momo stared at the other girl with wide eyes, before her expression turned into a smile. She felt the same way too, and it made her happy that Mina and Ochaco were going to be onboard with the rescue plan. "Okay. Then we should be going. The others must be waiting for us outside right now."

When they arrived outside, Momo and Ochaco saw the boys and Mina waiting for them.

"Yeah, she's here!" Mina exclaimed. Kirishima grinned as Todoroki nodded. Bakugo just glared at her with an annoyed expression, as usual.

"So, you're really coming with us?" Todoroki asked the Vice Rep.

Momo nodded. "Yes."

"Great, then lets get the fuck going." Bakugo said, turning to leave.

"Hold on!"

To the surprise of the group, they turned to see none other than Iida walking towards them. He scowled at them as he stared at all the students who were willingly going against the rules.

"Why are you here? I thought you were against this." Todoroki asked. He was doubtful the speedster was here to give them a happy send off.

"Isn't it obvious?" Bakugo asked, walking in front of the group and scowling at Iida. "You wanna die trying to stop us, glasses? You know you can take us all on."

Tenya growled at the explosive boy's remark. "Todoroki. Why did it have to be you, of all people? You, along with Wade, stopped me when I acted recklessly. Who received amnesty with us after Hosu. Why are you trying to make the same stupid mistake I made? Have you never learned?"

"What are you talking about?" Kirishima asked, not knowing all the details about what the three students endured and their vow of silence placed on them by the police. However, Shoto placed a hand on his shoulder, which told him to let Iida finish.

"We're still just students. And UA's in a bad position as it is. Anything we do will reflect on our school! Don't you get that?!"

"Iida, we have to do this." Todoroki said, walking towards the speedster. "I get it. You don't like breaking the rules and neither do I, but you of all people should what to help—"

BASH!

Out of nowhere, Iida punched Todoroki in the face. This attack shocked everyone in the group as they looked at Iida with wide eyes and gaping jaws. Even Bakugo was surprised by this.

"DO YOU THINK I DON'T WANT TO?!" Iida yelled at him. "I'm frustrated and concerned, just like all of you! Wade is my friend, dammit! I'm worried about him, just like I'm worried about all of my classmates. I'm the Class Representative! When I heard that Wade was injured, all I could think about was my brother in the hospital. What if he died, because I didn't step in? Have you not stopped to think about where I'm coming from?" Tenya started to break down in tears. "Or are you saying that you don't care about how I feel?"

Standing up straight again, Todoroki looked into Iida's eyes. "No, of course not. You've got it all wrong, Iida." He said with a bruise on his cheek. "We don't expect to face the villains head-on and win. We'll get him back without fighting."

Iida looked at Todoroki in confusion before Mina walked over. "He's right. This is purely a rescue mission. We'll be as stealthy as a mouse that's also a ninja." She said, covering most of her face with her hands with the exception of her eyes.

"We can rescue him without breaking the rules." Kirishima said with a smirk.

"I trust in you guy's judgment." Ochaco said, nodding. "I know that things could go wrong, that's why I'll do my best to help out. I'll stand behind my classmates!"

"You can't be serious! Surely, you must know what you're getting yourself into!" Iida exclaimed, still disbelief at his classmate's persistence.

"Yeah, I do." Ochaco said with seriousness in her tone. She understood that they were going to be doing what was likely the most dangerous thing they've ever done. However, she didn't care. She wouldn't be able to live with herself if she just did nothing. "And I'm still coming along."

"Thanks, Ochaco, you're the best!" Mina jumped over and hugged her.

Iida turned to Momo. "And let me guess, you're going because of your boyfriend?" He asked.

Momo frowned and looked down at the ground as she clenched her fists. "I'm going not just because of Wade, though that's the primary reason for me coming along. I've always felt like I didn't earn my place in U.A.. I was a recommended student because of my parents. I didn't even have to go through the Entrance Exam like everyone else. It's a question that's been plaguing me since my first day, and even now it still does. But Wade helped me see just how much I can do. I don't just love him, I'm inspired by him. He inspires me to be a better Hero, and I don't want to lose that inspiration. I refuse to lose it!"

Almost everyone stared at her with wide eyes. Taken aback by her words and conviction. "And what about you, Bakugo?" Iida then turned to the short tempered boy. "You of all people hate Wade the most. We all know how you feel about him. So why are you coming with us?"

"I've got my own reasons, and that's all you need to know." Bakugo said, glaring at him. He held up his hand and small sparks started popping off in his palm. "What, you're gonna punch me too? Try it and see how far you get without dying. We're going to save that stupid bug, and if you want to stop us, then you're gonna have to kill us first!"

"Or rather don't." Mina said, sighing exasperatedly at Bakugo's antics.

As Tenya stared at his classmates, he sighed and closed his eyes. "You're right, I still can't let you get away with it. But no matter what I do or what I say, you're already made up your mind. That's why I'm coming with you!" He said, opening his eyes to see the surprised expressions on the rescue team's faces.

After the USJ and Hosu incident, Class 1-A thought they've seen true evil in the form of the League of Villains. That the worst was over. But war had just begun, and the villains were just getting started. Even when the police gathered the finest Heroes in the city, they would be far from prepared for the events that were about to take place.

Once again, Wade was back in the chair. His body was strapped against it and he was forced to listen to the interacts of the villains.

"Ooohhh, that's some cool-ass toys you got there! How do they work?" Twice said in different tones as he was looking over Wade's web shooters, acting like a child who just got a new toy.

"Twice, you better stop playing with those. We don't even know what they are." Spinner said while he was sitting on top of the bar counter.

"Yeah… Maybe you're right... But that's why we need to find out!" Twice exclaimed, changing his tone all of a sudden. "If I can just find a button…"

"Hey buddy!" Wade said, getting the attention of the villains. "Press down on the small button at the end of that arm."

Twice looked back at the web-shooter and saw what Wade was talking about. So he pressed it. However, he had the device pointing to himself, so by the time he pushed it, he shot himself in the face with a web. "Aaaaaaaahhhhhhh! It's so sticky! Get this thing off of me!" Twice screamed, dropping the web-shooter back where he picked and tried to pull the web away with his hands.

"You're so annoying…" Dabi muttered as he approached and then threw a little blue fire to Twice, burning the web instantly without doing some harm to him.

"Oh, you saved my life Dabi… I owe you my life." Twice said with a melodramatic tone.

Suddenly, everyone heard a snort before turning to the other side of the room and saw Wade restraining a laugh, even though he was still tied in the chair.

"Sorry, it's just I can't help but feel like I'm surrounded by the core cast of a canceled Saturday sitcom. But hey, you're not too bad as comedians." Wade said with a cheeky smirk.

"Should I get the duct tape to shut him up?" Magne asked, gritting her teeth in annoyance.

"Shigaraki said we shouldn't lay a finger on him while he's gone. After all, he wants us to treat him well since he's our guest." Mr. Compress replied nonchalantly.

"Well, you suck at being good hosts anyway." Wade muttered sarcastically, rolling his eyes. "And can someone tell this yandere schoolgirl to stop looking at me like that? She's been doing it, like, all the time and it's freaking me out!"

"I'm just doing what my boss asked me to, to keep an eye on you~" Toga indeed remained behind the bar while staring intently at her crush, even after Shigaraki left with Ghost and Kurogiri to contact someone.

Luckily for Wade, the three villains came back just a minute later. Ghost walked over to the wall beside Wade as Shigaraki took his seat at the bar and Kurogiri stood behind it. "Ah, I'm so happy you could have joined us, Wade."

"Did I have a choice?" Wade asked, glaring at him.

"There's always a choice, Wade. And I'll be offering you a choice very soon too. But first, I'd like to show you a little something," The villain replied as he turned on the TV.

When it turned on, it showed a person that has become rather famous for his news coverage and slandering of UA in recent months, and has become infamous among the students of the school for the same reason. And they all knew him by the nickname they all gave him.

Triple J.

"This is Josuke Joshua Jirachi, coming to you live with news from the morally bankrupt, menace creating school, U.A High School!" The news reporter said. He was a 40-year old man with a toothbrush mustache and a flattop haircut.

"You seriously listen to this guy?" Wade asked Shigaraki, looking at him like he was crazy.

"As we all know, UA has been the leading school when it comes to creating some of the best Heroes in the world. Well, I ask you, at what cost?! They've allowed their students to become menaces who destroy buildings and cause thousands of dollars in damages! Just like many other Heroes in this society! And yet no one holds these people accountable! Well, it seems as if the consequences of the people who breed these Heroes are finally catching up to them! I'll take you through a clip from the UA High School press conference that just wrapped up."

Wade gasped in shock when he saw the clip start to play. On it was the principal, Mr. Aizawa, and Vlad King. All were wearing suits and ties and all three were blowing their heads in shame. From the look of it, they were answering all the many questions that were brought up by the media. No doubt they were asking about the villain's attack on the summer camp.

Standing back up straight, Aizawa was the first to speak up. "We are here to apologize. A recent incident allowed harm to come to 27 first year heroes, and we staff were ill prepared for the event of such an attack happening. We take full responsibility for any trauma caused by our negligence. It's our duty to train Heroes, but also to protect Heroes-in-Training." He said. They bowed their heads again as the press took photos.

Wade stared at the screen with wide eyes. Aizawa made it no secret that he hated the spotlight and the media. Yet here he was, speaking at a press conference that was being broadcast on television.

"I'll take the first question." One of the reporters called out. "Since the beginning of the year, UA students have had no less than four encounters with the villains, including a fifth if you count the incident on I-Island. This time, there were students that were gravely injured and one that was taken by them. How do you explain this to the families? And more importantly, what are some of the specific steps you're taking to ensure their safety in the future?"

Wade's eyebrows frowned at the TV. Were they serious? The media should know what UA's basic position is on the matter since they didn't cancel the sports festival. No, this isn't about getting the facts. This is about making his teacher look bad. They were treating them like villains.

Nezu decided to answer the question. "We will increase patrols around the school grounds, and review security measures within the school. The safety of UA's students is our main priority, make no mistake about it."

The news then cut back to Triple J. "Well, there you have it folks. The brain-dead faculty of U.A continue to show us they have not even the slightest idea what they're doing! And did they ever? Increase patrols? With who?! This is where all of the average citizens' taxes are being spent! But this reporter can tell you one thing, and it's that this school is going to give its students a death sentence."

Wade didn't have to know what was going on outside as people watched the news. He could feel the mood changing, and people were turning against Heroes. If he didn't do something, it was just going to get worse.

Shigaraki lowered down the volume as he started talking. "How strange. Heroes are becoming the bad guys. Seems like they're not dealing with this very well at all. Just look at how critical people are being with your teachers. But everyone makes a mistake or two, right? It's not like they're supposed to be perfect. The modern Heroes sure do have it rough. Just imagine how bad it'll be for the next generation. Right, Wade?" Shigaraki asked, turning to his enemy.

But Wade was pretending to be asleep and letting out obnoxiously loud snores.

Everyone just stared at him. Completely dumbfounded. This kid couldn't be serious. He had to be doing this to get under their skins.

Wade snorted and pretended to wake up from a long sleep. "Huh? What? Dude, seriously. You really know how to put a guy to sleep, you know?"

"You really think this is a game?" Shigaraki asked, glaring at Wade through the fingers of the hand on his face.

"It sounds to me that you wanna say something, but you're just dragging out what to say." Wade said, rolling his eyes. "So, just get to the point already."

Shigaraki stared at Wade before sighing out loud in a dramatic way. "I suppose someone who wants to be a Hero so badly would be complacent to the standards of this society."

"Once a Hero receives payment to protect people, they aren't a real Hero anymore. That's Stain's action that taught us." Spinner added as he stared at Wade.

"A Hero in this current system only cares about money and glory. And since society buys into those idiotic rules, anyone who don't want to follow their rules ends up being cast aside. So, we want to pose a question, Wade. What's a hero? What is justice? Is this system truly fair? Soon, everyone will be asking. That's when we'll know we've won. And you like winning, don't you, Spider-Man?" Shigaraki asked Wade as he smirked at the biggest Hero prospect sitting and tied up in the chair. Completely at his mercy as watching as his beloved Hero society fell and crumbled right before his eyes.

"Heh… Heheh… HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Wade suddenly burst out laughing hysterically. This took everyone by surprise as they looked at him as if he was going mad, and it even made some a little uncomfortable. After a moment, Wade stopped long enough to speak. "You really are idiots! That's why you captured me?! Because you want me to join you?!"

That got Wade to laugh again for about a minute before Shigaraki slammed his fist on the bar counter. "And just what about this is funny to you, Wade?" He growled out, demanding to know why his prisoner was taking what he'd say like it was a joke.

Wade stopped laughing before looking at Shigaraki with a smirk. "Did you really think you won? Or that you could turn me to the dark side? I said that you didn't know a thing about me, but wow, you really don't. And what's one kid going to do for society, huh?"

"Are you stupid or did you not pay attention to the news?" Shigaraki growled with a growing itchiness in his neck.

"Why? Was I supposed to pay attention?" Wade asked snarkily. He then gasped. "Is this going to be on the test, sensei?"

Shigaraki growled in fury and would have likely killed the boy if it wasn't for Kurogiri. "Calm yourself, Shigaraki. We still need him."

"Alright, let me make an example for you so you'll understand. Your school is being criticized for allowing you kids to get hurt and kidnapped. People are losing faith in Heroes and it wouldn't be long before you're all completely rejected! And when that time comes, then we would have finally won! Accept it, Wade! Your dreams of being a Hero are dead! There wouldn't be any more of them left after we're done. Why would you bother trying?!"

"Because I would be betraying everything I stand for," Wade said. He stared at the villains as they stared at him. "Everything my father taught me."

Shigaraki's eyes widened at Wade's persistence and was about to shout in anger once more, but then a new idea formed in his head. He calmed himself down and took a deep breath.

"Your father, huh?" Shigaraki pointed to Ghost. "You mean your father right there? The same man that stands there as a villain?"

"My dad is not a villain!" Wade snapped angrily, pulling himself in his binding chains. "You fuckers just turned him into a goddamn puppet! He wouldn't stand with you if you didn't wipe his memories! He wouldn't be here if I… I…" Wade trailed off, but quickly realized his mistake.

This, however, was not lost on Shigaraki as a twisted smile crossed his pale face. Now it was a perfect opportunity to exploit the fear his naive hero was trying to hide.

"Oh yes, your father died at the hands of a villain over a year ago, because of you." Shigaraki said, when he noticed the disheartening reaction from Wade. He continued to press further. "Come to think of it, everyone must be aware you're his daddy's boy, what do you think they'd feel about it? Would they still believe you can be their protector, or maybe you're not so different as your father?"

"What?" Wade gasped as his enraged expression progressively changed into a mix of confusion and disbelief.

"I did a little more research on the incident. Witness statements. Statements from Heroes. Including All Might. He seemed to have everything under control… until you came along." Shigaraki said in a taunting voice. "But Ghost even told us what you said in your little room. How it was all your fault. So what really happened that day, Wade? What happened that day? Who could have been responsible for allowing the Sludge Villain to get loose and allow him to hurt your daddy?"

The silence in the room was deafening as a knife stabbed Wade's heart so deeply that he was lost of words. What was he supposed to say to explain his actions? He just lowered his head in shame.

And now it was Shigaraki's turn to laugh hysterically. "Oh this is too good! So it was you! You're the reason your father turned into a villain! Now that's very funny!" He laughed out loud before calming down so he could be straight with the kid. "Think about it Wade, what would the Heroes think if they knew what happened that day? They'll know that they got your father killed, and it was because of you he turned into Ghost. You really can't write this stuff!"

"SHUT UP!" Wade yelled in fury, pulling against the chair again. He wanted to wrap his hands around Shigaraki's neck and blast him with all the electricity he had in him.

"Oh don't be like that Wade. We really aren't that different." Shigaraki said, placing a hand on his chest. "The difference is I chose my path and you chose the way of the hero. And people would find that very amusing, if only for a while. But the one thing that they really love more than a hero…is to see a hero fail. Fall. Die trying, in spite of everything you've done for them. Eventually they will hate you. And when they see you crumbling when you fail to save your father, they'll see you for the failure you truly are."

Wade glared at him with hard tears pouring down his face. His breaths were deep yet shaky as he tried to calm down and not let Shigaraki get to him. "I'm not like you. You're a murderer."

"Well, to each his own," Shigaraki said nonchalantly. "We live in a society that praises heroes, but has everyone else lock up their own powers for the sake of protection. But protection from what? What if people don't need Heroes to save them? We aren't the ones who need fixing. These powers that we have, they're not curses. They're gifts. I've watched this world longer than you have, and I've watched as you built yourself up as a new shining explanation of justice when in reality you're just as bad as us. All while the world tries to make us act as normal people should. And do you know why they do it? Because they know that they're surrounded by Gods. So, why bother Wade? This is why you're here, right? To be reunited with your father. Well, you have a chance now, along with a chance to make a difference."

Wade closed his eyes and lowered his head again. His tears poured down his cheeks as he gritted his teeth in anguish. This more Shigaraki smirk under his hand mask. Yes, this is it. This is what he was looking for. To see the one kid with the most potential of being a Hero fall to despair. Now he knew he was winning.

"Dabi, let him go."

Dabi looked at his boss as if he was crazy. "Are you serious? You know he'll just attack us."

"It's fine! We're recruiting him. We should treat him like an equal. Besides, I don't think he has the will to fight us anymore. U.A. students are so clever, so he must know that he can't take us all on." Shigaraki smugly smirked at Wade, who continued to look down with his hair shadowing his eyes.

Dabi looked at Wade before nudging Twice. "Hey, Twice. You do it."

"Hell no! Sure! No, wait, hell no!" Twice yelled, looking afraid to go anywhere near the kid. "What about Magne?"

"Man, fuck that! I ain't messing with that kid! He's the one that beat Muscular!" Magne cried out.

Toga let out a loud sigh as she began making her way to the prisoner. "You guys are such losers." She said as she started unlocking Wade's shackles. "Wade's a good boy. He won't hurt any of us, right Wade~?"

"I do apologize for such forceful methods," Compress said. "But please understand that we aren't some kind of unruly mob committing crimes without a third act in mind. We didn't target you and Bakugo by accident.

Shigaraki stood up from his seat. "Really Wade, you and I are not so different. We've both suffered from this joke of a society. All of us have. All because of the rules and the people that are in power. And because of the heroes that it's all built around. Don't you think it's funny? Everything every Hero's done to preserve this failure of the so-called society, it's monstrous! Why can't you see the joke in it at all? Why doesn't that make you laugh?"

BASH!

Suddenly Wade kicked Toga away from him and jumped at Shigaraki. With electricity coursing through his fist, he hit him in the face with a powerful flying punch that knocked him down across the room on the floor, knocking the hand off his face. His body stopped when it slammed against the wall.

Every one of the villains were completely stunned by this attack. "Shigaraki!" Twice exclaimed.

Wade's foot stomped on the ground, cracking the floorboards as he landed on his feet. "Because I've heard the joke before." Wade answered Shigaraki's question as he glared at him with all the fury he felt for the man in his soul. "And it wasn't funny the first time."

Ghost quickly aimed his pistol at Wade's head, only for his son to quickly punch it out of his hand with an uppercut, sending the gun flying up and smashing on impact with the ceiling. Stunned by what he saw, Ghost didn't have time to react when Wade kicked him in the chest, sending him flying into the wall and seemingly knocking him out. He didn't want to, but he had to keep his father out of the fight that was about to unfold.

"I don't know what it was that bent you out of shape, Shigaraki." Wade said, turning his head to glare at the villain as the others stared at him in shock. "But we're not the same!"

He pointed his finger at the unconscious Daniel.

"That man is the reason I became a Hero! Sure, I always wanted to be one from the beginning, but it was his words, his encouragement that inspired me! You're right about one thing, and it's that I do want him back. But if I join you punks and join the side of evil, I would truly be kicking my father by going against everything that he stood for! I didn't become a Hero for the glory or money. I did it because I have the power to make sure another day like that day can never happen again. I do this because it's what my father would have wanted. But most of all, I did to make amends for my sins made on that day!"

Wiping away the tears, Wade stared at the League of Villains. "So what about you?" He asked Shigaraki. "What's your excuse? And don't monologue, please. It's getting old. Get to the point! Because all I'm hearing from you is that you're just wanting to cause trouble for everyone and you want to use dad to make me join you. What, were you going to do the same with Bakugo? HA! Don't make me laugh! I have known that shithead for a long time, so let me break him down for you. He wants to be a winner, just like All Might. And he wouldn't have it any other way!"

He then clenched his fist and raised it at the villains. "And so what if you win?!" He yelled at the villains, with electricity coursing through his fist. The villains looked at him with stunned expressions. This wasn't supposed to happen. "Even if you convinced me, and even if you made people lose faith in Heroes, it wouldn't make a difference. All Might, my teachers, my classmates, even Bakugo, and myself…"

Wade grinned with a look of determination.

"They'll always be people like us. Because being a Hero means you're willing to do... what others cannot."

Shigaraki didn't move. He remained still on the floor with his back against the wall. He looked at the hand that was now lying on the floor in front of his feet. His eyes widened.

"Father!"

Wade stood there, until his attention was turned to the TV, which was still turned on. Grabbing the remote, he turned up the volume to hear the live broadcast of the U.A. Press conference. This got the attention of the other villains as they turned their attention to the screen. Watching as another reporter asked Aizawa some questions.

"You spoke about keeping the students safe, Eraserhead. But according to our information, you've encouraged them to fight during the attack on the training camp, putting them in grave danger. What was your reasoning for this?"

"I concluded that because we didn't know the full situation, allowing them to use their Quirks would help avoid the possible outcome." Aizawa replied.

"And what would that outcome be? Do you think 26 victims and one kidnapped child is a win for U.A. High?"

Even from the other side of the TV screen, Wade could tell how agitated his teacher was getting. "I assure you that things could have gone poorly. I feared every student would be tortured and killed in the end."

Nezu then took the moment to speak up. "Most of the victims were harmed by the gas attack. We've determined it to be the result of a poisonous Quirk used by one of the villains. It's thanks to the quick actions of Ms. Kendo and Mr. Tetsutetsu that injuries were kept to a bare minimum. Additionally, we're providing mental health counseling to every student, though at the moment, we do not see any signs of serious psychological trauma."

"So you've found a bright spot in this tragedy?" The reporter snarkily replied. Obviously trying to spark a reaction from the teachers.

"We're relieved that an entire class of burgeoning Heroes still have a future."

"And what about Wade Walker?"

Wade gasped and listened closely.

"He enrolled at your school with excellent marks and went on to win the sports festival. Before that, he survived the attack of a powerful sludge villain who eventually had to be taken down by All Might, and then he would be one of the three students to survive an encounter with the Hero Killer: Stain and a personal attack by the villains. The boy's obviously strong and heroic. However, his actions and his willingness to hurt himself shows that he's reckless. The villains obviously targeted your other student Bakugo and were trying to recruit him based on his violent attitude and his out-of-control temper. But what if they wanted to take Wade out the picture? They were able to brainwash his father, which many in the MMA league spoke highly of. What if they were using him to pull his son towards the path of evil? How can you sit there and tell us he still has a future."

Wade gulped nervously. This was bad, the reporter knew exactly what he was doing. He's trying to get a rise out of his teacher and get him to say something that would damn him and U.A.. Wade watched as Aizawa stood up from his seat. In his mind, the Spider-Man prayed to God that he wouldn't fall for the man's tricks.

What happened next surprised him.

Aizawa bowed and said, "As Wade Walker's teacher, I take full responsibility for his kidnapping, as well as not taming his recklessness. But the idea of Wade falling to darkness, frankly, is laughable. I've observed his progress, and during that time, I've gotten to know the kind of man he'll become. His reckless actions in the sport festival all stem from his convictions. He wants to become the top Hero, and is trying harder than anyone in his pursuit of that dream. However, he's willing to put himself in danger and risk his life and dream if it means he's able to save another person's life. And I know this because from watching him and the report of Wade sacrificing himself to save Bakugo from being taken. He's willing to break himself to save even a little child in danger. Wade'll never stop until he's become the best Hero he could be. Out of all my years of teaching and being in this line of work, he's shown that with all his powers and will, he's still a person with a heart of gold. The villains can try and use his father all they want, but if they think they have a chance of turning Wade to evil, they're grossly mistaken. I can guarantee you that much."

It wasn't just Wade that was stunned by Aizawa's words. Everyone in the press conference was taken aback by the praise the teacher gave his student. It took a moment for the reporter to regain his bearings and proceed with his questioning. "T-That doesn't amount to real evidence, though. I didn't ask you how you feel, I asked you if you had concrete information."

Nezu spoke up again. "We're doing our best with the intel we currently have available. I have no doubt the police will break this case very soon. We won't rest until our missing student is returned to U.A.."

"Heh." Wade smirked as he rubbed the back of his head. "Wow, that's got to be the nicest thing the guy's ever said about me. Well, you've got your answer from me, and my teachers. So, now that you know I'm not joining you creeps, I'll be taking dad and we'll be running along."

Wade kept up the smirk as he thought about all the trouble the villains went through, just to bring him here to their lair. They even confessed what they wanted from him. Wade almost laughed at the idea of them wanting him to join their crew. However, that means they didn't want to kill him. But now he had a chance to get out. However, getting his father out too was going to be a challenge. He could turn invisible and take out a couple of them, giving him the opening he needed to escape.

Wade cracked his neck and got into a fighting stance. "Alright, so we're not at camp, but that doesn't mean I can't fight back." He said, before cracking his knuckles. "And I didn't hear no bell."

Magne sucked through her teeth. "Dammit, he must've figured out that he's important to us. What a clever boy."

"No, he's just a fool." Dabi commented.

"No." Wade shook his head with a grin. "Just reckless."

Toga clapped her hands. "Let me stab him!"

"YOU STAY AWAY FROM ME!"

Spinner gritted his teeth in anger as Mr. Compress said, "A clever performer this one was. Acting like we were winning him over. But now that he's broken character, he's finished."

Wade stared at them until something caught his attention out of the corner of his eye. Ghost was standing back up and painted a line of blue ink on the way behind him. Reaching in, he pulled out a bo staff.

"Great," Wade growled, trying to keep his grin up. Things just got tougher.

On the floor, Shigaraki twitched his fingers. "Father."

Seeing this, Kurogiri started to panic. "No, Tomura Shigaraki! Be calm!"

He was about to activate a portal before Shigaraki stopped him by raising up his hand. "Don't lay a finger on him. Any of you." He told the other villains. The leader then stood up, picked up the hand mask with his thumb, pointer, and middle fingers. Placing it back on his face, he said, "This Hero is still a valuable piece. You should have taken my offer, Wade. Really, I thought you and I could come to an understanding."

"As if I would ever consider us the same." Wade said, glaring at him.

Shigaraki sighed. "Then I have no choice. The Heroes said they'd continue their investigation of our group, so we don't have time to stand around here and talk. And we have someone that would like to ask you a few questions."

Wade blinked in confusion. "Questions?"

Shigaraki grabbed the remote and changed the input. Now the TV was a blank screen with a [Sound Only] on the screen. "Master. Lend me your power."

"A wise decision, Tomura Shigaraki."

Wade gasped as his eyes widened in fear. No. It couldn't be. But why deny it? He was hearing the voice of evil itself. Mr. He-who-shall-not-be-named in the Hero world, and the most dangerous of all villains.

"Wade Walker, it's a pleasure to meet you. I'm sorry for the rather ruin introduction, but I'm afraid I can not be there to meet you in person."

"Not that I would've liked to see you in person, All For One" Wade said as he tried not to sweat out of fear.

"Ah, wonderful. I wouldn't have to introduce myself. So very few people even remember my name anymore. I'm hurt by that, you know."

"Yeah, and how can I help you, your evilness?" Wade asked sarcastically as he gave an exaggerated bow.

"During the Sports Festival, you truly stood out along your contemporaries. The bravery that you've shown and the skills you used were truly a sight to behold. But what really stood out to me is your Quirk."

Wade's eyes widened in terror. His heart sank as he realized what was going on. What All for One had figured it out.

"It truly is a sight to see you fight, Mr. Walker. You have the power to topple buildings and yet have the ability to turn invisible and use electricity. Along with other abilities. And, according to you, your powers were just 'late bloomers'."

Wade's breaths grew heavier as he was starting to have a panic attack. He didn't want to admit it, but he could already see where AFO was going.

"Forgive me, Wade, but I don't believe that. You see, I have a rather great fascination with Quirks. I know how they work, and I know for sure that by no means a boy such as yourself, who was born without a Quirk, could have developed one. No, no, it was something else, wasn't it? Or perhaps… someone."

Wade felt himself stop breathing for a moment. This wasn't possible, but at the same time, it was happening right now. The Sports Festival was broadcast to the entire world. AFO could have just turned on the TV and see what Wade's powers were like. But how did he know about his excuse about his Spider Quirk being a late blooming Quirk? How did he know about his Quirklessness? Many more questions were piling up in his head as he stared at the TV screen.

"So tell me, Wade Walker. How did it happen?"

At that moment, Wade got an idea. He took a deep breath and exhaled, making it look like he was giving up and relenting what he promised to keep a secret from his family and friends. "You really wanna know? Alright."

Everyone stared at Wade, anxiously listening to what he had to say. And then, Wade finally revealed the truth.

"My powers came to me when I was bitten by a radioactive spider that came from another dimension."

Silence.

That's all that was heard in the room.

Complete and utter silence.

It was hard to tell what Shigaraki's face was like behind his mask, as was Kurogiri with his head. Toga, Twice, and Spinner had blank faces with their eyes comically turned into small dots. Compress had to remove his mask to look at Wade like he was crazy. Magne's glasses slid down her nose as her jaw dropped. Dabi raised an eyebrow while tilting his head, while Ghost did the same.

No one said a word until Wade raised his hand. "May I please be excused from the classroom?"

"You're…kidding…right, kid?" Magne asked the boy.

"Uh, no, I think I hear a call of nature coming, and I would really not like to piss in these pants. They're kind of my only pair at the moment."

"I meant your powers, you dumbass! Do you really think we're gonna buy that you got your powers from a spider bite!?" She yelled.

"No I'm serious," Wade said, holding up his hand. "Wanna look?"

"No, I don't want to look at your spider bite!" Magne yelled as she stepped away in disgust.

Shigaraki finally found his voice again. "I think we've wasted our time long enough. Ghost, Compress, put him to sleep. Kurogiri, be ready to send him to the master." He ordered.

Mr. Compress sighed as he placed his mask back on his face. "I can't believe he's such a bad audience member. It's almost impressive." He and Ghost started to slowly make their way towards Wade.

"Hey, come on, fellas. It's the truth. I swear on my good-for-nothing mother's grave!" Wade said in a joking tone as he held up his hands.

But in his head, he knew his time was up. He could turn invisible, but the warp guy's way too fast. Plus, he doesn't know what Toga could do. She could have the power to see invisible people. As much as Wade didn't want to admit it, he couldn't save Daniel. Not today. His only option is to get out fast. And that means making an opening somehow and getting to the door.

Knock, knock, knock

"Pizza's here. Hello? I've got three extra large pepperoni pizzas with extra cheese." The delivery guy said, not even aware that behind the door was a villain's secret hideout.

Everyone looked at the door in confusion.

"You guys order pizza?" Wade asked, pointing to the door? "I mean, I'm flattered but who the fuck orders pizza to their secret hideout!?"

"I sure didn't!" Twice raised his hand. "Or did I?"

"Shut up!" Shigaraki snapped. "Someone go—"

All of a sudden the wall behind Spinner exploded and came crashing down.

"SMASH!" Yelled All Might, as he punched through the wall. Creating an opening to the outside world with his fist of justice. "Special delivery of Justice!"

Spinner looked at the Hero completely gobsmacked. "What the—"

"Kurogiri! GATE!" Shigaraki shouted. Taken out of his shock, Kurogiri was about to teleport them out of the bar when he was stopped by Kami Wood jumping in.

"Pre-emptive Binding, Lacquered Chain Prison!" He shouted his signature move as he used his power to tangle up and trap the villains in branches of his wood that shot out from his left arm.

Dabi looked down at the wood that trapped his body. "Big mistake," He said coldly. He was about to flare up his fire Quirk to burn away the wood when Gran Torino came flying in at lightning fast speeds and knocked out the villain with a kick upside the face.

"Don't do anything foolish!" The old timer exclaimed. How pathetic. Even the spider brat could handle that kick. "It's in your best interest to cooperate with us."

"Just what I'd expect from a competent new Hero, and a veteran pro who moves faster than the eye can see!" All Might compliment as Gran Torino flew over Wade's head and dropped something in front of him. The young man quickly caught it and was surprised to see it was his web-shooters.

He grinned. "Thanks, old man."

All Might's eyes glowed bright blue as he glared at the League. "You can't run anymore, League of Villains! Understand? Because we are here now!"

"R-Right after the press conference?" Compress asked in shock on the ground. He struggled to break free, but it was no use. "They had this ruse planned the whole time!"

"Tree man! You're hugging me too tight!" Twice yelled as Toga groaned in pain as the wood tightened around her body. "H-Harder, daddy!"

From behind the door, Wade heard the pizza delivery guy's voice. "One tends to neglect defense when they're on the offense. But we didn't come alone." He said before another Hero appeared near the door. This was the #5 Pro Hero, Edgeshot.

The Ninja Hero was a slim, muscular man who stood a bit shorter than most of his top-class heroic peers. He had gray hair shaped into three sharp points that cover the right side of his face and dark gray eyes, and he wore a blue mask that covered his mouth and nose that tied at the back of his head with red yarn. Being a ninja means you had to dress like one, and Edgeshot took inspiration from traditional ninja attire. He sported red shinobi shozoku underneath a blue robe, while his arms were covered in a thin, dark cloth that tucked into his white forearm sleeves. There are red straps attached to his belt and his robe that extend outward. There was a gold mask attached to his shoulder and he sported a signature red scarf that featured a white patch attached to the front of it. As for the feet of his costume, he had blue socks and yellow zori sandals.

"Take a look," he said, unlocking the door and opening it to reveal a squad of Japan's Special Assault Team, aka SAT. Each man was armed with a MP5a5 submachine gun. "You're surrounded by the police. Not to mention powerful Heroes like Endeavor."

Wade looked towards the hole in the walk and walked towards it. He looked down at the streets and was amazed to see armored SAT vehicles and police vehicles surrounding the building. Among them was Endeavor, who was talking with Tsukauchi.

"Tsukauchi, why does Edgeshot get to rush into the fight while I'm stuck here with you?" The #2 Hero questioned the detective with anger.

"Because if someone slips out, we'll need you to capture them immediately." The detective told him, much to Endeavor's annoyance.

Up on the floor with the hole in it, Wade smiled down at the police detective. "Wow, so everyone came out to rescue me?" He asked.

"That's right." All Might said as he approached the young man. "You must've been scared, but you stayed strong."

"Yeah, and not a moment too soon," Wade said, walking away from the hole. "But, All Might. I have to tell you something."

"When we're done here. I'm sorry for taking too long. But you're safe now, young man."

Wade wanted to protest, but didn't say anything. He was right. There's always a time and place for that, but now it was not the time. Not when everyone was around him. He especially didn't want the villains to think All for One was correct.

He turned his head to look at Ghost. The ink villain was tied up like the rest of the villains and was forced on his knees. He looked up at Wade and All Might, glaring at both of them with hatred.

It was a look that broke Wade's heart as he turned to walk towards him. Hoping to break through his programming once again. "Dad?"

Before he could approach him, All Might placed a hand on his shoulder. He didn't want to stop his successor, but now wasn't the time. Not when Daniel was still a villain and still dangerous. "I promise you, Wade. We will free your father from whatever villainous brainwashing they placed on him."

Seeing the #1 Hero comfort the young man made Shigaraki want to vomit. "After all I went through to prepare for this, the final boss goes and shows up on my doorstep." He grunted. Everyone's been restrained, and there was no easy way for him to escape. Not with the Heroes having backup. It can't be helped. He'll have to call in his, too. "KUROGIRI! WARP OVER AS MANY AS YOU CAN!"

A couple seconds passed, but nothing happened. Wade looked around, confused. "Was something supposed to happen?"

Shigaraki turned his head towards the Warp Villain. "What are you waiting for, damn it!?"

"I'm sorry, Tomura Shigaraki. The Nomus were supposed to be in a fixed location… but they're gone!" Kurogiri said.

"What?!"

"You still have a lot to learn, Shigaraki." All Might said, pulling out Momo's device and showing it to the villains. "Your little League underestimated all of us. The soul of this young man, his classmates' will, the police's diligent investigations, and our righteous fury!"

Wade looked at the device and gasped when he noticed something etched into the back of it. It looked like a chibi of a Russian doll. That was what Momo put on all of her creations, so that her classmates knew that it was hers. He grinned when he realized that his girlfriend helped All Might. "Way to go, Momo."

"We have control. The Nomu are neutralized." The voice of Best Jeanist said through the Hero's earpiece.

Wearing the famous smile, All Might stood tall and proud as the light from the outside shined on him. "Enough is enough! It's game over, Tomura Shigaraki!"

Spinner yelped. "ALL MIGHT, PLEASE! You're the only Hero Stain respected! You are worthy!" He yelled, while Wade looked at him with an exasperated expression.

"You see the kind of idiots I've had to put up with?" He asked, pointing at Spinner with his thumb.

Gritting his teeth in growing fury, Shigaraki felt the itch on his neck returning much stronger. "You think it's over? Don't be stupid. I've only just begun to play." He said, before struggling to get back up on his feet. Glaring at the #1 Hero with bloodshot eyes. "Justice. Peace. You created a garbage society by lifting up such ridiculous ideals. That's why I targeted you, All Might. It's why I started to gather people to my cause. You think this is the end? Then you've lost. KUROGIRI!"

However, a thin line of what appeared to be red string stabbed through Kurogiri's chest. The Warp Villain gasped before collapsing in Kami Wood's binding.

When Magne saw it, she yelped in fear. "What just happened?! I couldn't see anything. Did they kill him?!"

The red string wiggle in front of Kurogiri's body as it grew larger. And from the tip of it came Edgeshot's voice. "I played around with his insides and made him fall unconscious. Ninpo: Thousand Sheet Piece! He was such a nuisance. He had to sleep." The Hero said, as his head formed from the string. This was his Quirk: Foldabody. The power granted the user the ability to manipulate the thinness of their body as well as stretch their limbs. Meaning Edgeshot could be as flat as paper and be thinner than a toothpick.

"Weren't you listening earlier? You'll all be better off if you take us seriously," said Gran Torino. He then started naming off the villains by their real names. "Kenji Hikiishi, Atsuhiro Sako, Shuichi Iguchi, Himiko Toga, Jin Bubaigawara, Daniel Walker. Though they had little time and information, the police worked through the night to discover your true identities. Do you understand? There's nowhere left for any of you to run. So, Shigaraki, just one question. Where is your boss hiding?"

1 minute earlier.

It was supposed to be a simple rescue mission for the 8 students. They had gotten to Kamino Ward, got disguises, and followed Momo's tracking device to the location. It led them to a hanger, and if Momo's tracker was correct, Ragdoll's body hadn't moved all day. It was the best location to keep their friend/boyfriend. So, they all went into the tight alleyway to sneak around the back and see what's inside. Luckily there was a window for them to peek inside.

What they were not expecting to see was so many Nomus in bathtubs.

Nor were they expecting Mt. Lady to smash down the wall of the hanger with her massive leg. But when she did, the Pro Heroes assigned to raiding the building stormed in with SAT. As the Heroes and police did their work, the kids groaned in pain as they picked themselves off the ground after being knocked down from the shockwave caused by the kick.

Bakugo, who was dressed like Eminem in his music video "When I'm Gone", shot up and was about to say something really loud when Kirishima quickly covered his mouth. The fake horns he had on were blown off.

"Don't say anything loud!" The red head hissed.

"What happened?" Iida asked, looking like a butler. "Did the building just come down?"

Ochaco groaned as she rubbed her behind. She was wearing an All Might hoodie with the hood covering her head and tight yoga pants. "Man, I just got these pants…" She complained as Mina sat next to her. Waiting to dress up like a spy, the pink was wearing a full suit and tie with sunglasses.

"Quick, get me up," Momo said, wearing a pink dress. Todoroki, wearing a similar outfit to Iida, nodded and helped her stand on his shoulders. Iida did the same for Kirishima, and Bakugo—forcibly—had Mina do the same.

"Geez, what do you eat?" Mina groaned under the weight of Bakugo.

The three looked in through the window and were surprised to see the Heroes that were leading the raid. "Gang Orca and Mt. Lady?" Kirishima exclaimed.

"Best Jeanist is here too?" Bakugo asked, looking at the Hero he interviewed for.

"And Mr. Tiger, too." Momo said. The three of them watched as the Heroes collected all the Nomus.

Down on all fours with her ass up in the air, Mt. Lady groaned in disgust as she held a couple of the Nomus in her giant hands. "Ugh, are these gross dudes really alive? I thought we'd be in for a fight, but this was super easy." She looked at Best Jeanist who used his Fiber Master Quirk to bind multiple Nomus in his Hero costume's fiber. "Maybe we should've left this to the police and gone with All Might."

"Difficulty and importance are two very different things, rookie," The Fiber Hero said. "Riot squad, get the transports ready. There could be more of them. Be on your guard."

"Yes, sir!"

Meanwhile, Tiger found Ragdoll naked in a bathtub filled with water and ice before he pulled her out. He quickly wrapped her in a blanket and looked her over. She was injured badly, with scars all over her body from Ghost attacking her. "C'mon, Ragdoll! Wake up for me!"

That's when he was approached by the Killer Whale Hero: Gang Orca. His name was quite fitting. He was a tall, well-built man whose body had the features of a killer whale, thanks to his mutant-type Quirk: Orcinus. He had deep white eyes that feature several rings that circle his red pupils. His hero costume consisted of a white suit with a high collar. The collar reached all the way to his chin, and it was decorated with diamond shapes that are made to look like teeth. This went with a pink tie made to look like a tongue was coming out. He also wore a killer whale-like cape over his back.

"Is that your teammate?" He asked Tiger, before listening to Ragdoll. Having the qualities of a killer whale allowed him to hear the beating of her heart from where he was standing. As well as the breathing coming from her nose. "She's breathing. That's good."

"Yes, I know. But…look at her! What have they done to you, my friend?" Tiger asked Ragdoll, but got no response. The green-haired woman had a blank and emotionless expression on her face as her eyes looked up lifelessly. It was as if all of her spirit was sucked away from her.

Kirishina, Bakugo, and Momo were placed back down on the ground. Iida breathed a sigh of relief. "Everything's fine now. The Heroes were on top of this way before we were."

"That's a relief!" Kirishima said with a smile.

Bakugo growled as he shoved his hands into his pockets. "Great, we came all this way for nothing."

"But what about Wade?" Ochaco asked worriedly, gaining the attention of the others. "Where's he?"

"I didn't see him in there," Momo said, just as worried until she realized something. "They mentioned All Might being somewhere else. What if he's saving Wade right now?"

"And if All Might's really there, we have nothing to worry about!" Mina jumped with joy.

"Then let's get back home. At least we won't have to explain ourselves." Iida said, relieved that this ordeal was over. The eight students started walking back out of the alleyway, away from the direction of the Heroes as they did their job.

However, nothing could have prepared them for what was about to unfold.

It started when they heard footsteps approaching. The students were the first to hear them, and they stopped to listen. They were slow and menacing as they grew louder in a soft rhythm.

Then came a voice that said, "I'm sorry, Tiger." This voice got the attention of the Heroes, who looked in front of them in the direction the person was coming from. "But Ragdoll's Quirk was so useful. I just had to take it. How could I not?"

"Are you with the League of Villains?" Gang Orca asked the mysterious person. However, it was too dark for them to see.

"Somebody get us a light!" Tiger shouted at the police.

"Since my body was mostly destroyed, I have not been able to stock up on Quirks."

"Stop there! Don't move!" Gang Orca ordered. However, the figure kept coming towards the Heroes. Thinking quickly, Best Jeanist took the initiative. He used his Quirk's power to take control of the figure's clothing. Making the fibers force their legs together, and his arms behind his back.

"Hey! You can't attack like that! What if he's just a bystander?!" Mt. Lady exclaimed.

"Think, Mt. Lady!" Best Jeanist exclaimed, pointing to his head with his free hand. "A moment of hesitation in a situation like this could mean the difference between life and death! We can't let these villains try anything!"

All of a sudden, the man started to generate an insane amount of power in his body, as red and black lightning encircled him. Freeing him from Best Jeanist's Quirk. The Hero was about to counter-attack.

And then it happened.

Wade's spidey sense picked up on what could only be described as a giant disturbance. His head snapped to the right as he turned to look over his shoulder. His eyes widened as he tried to see what just happened. "Did anyone else feel that?" He asked no one in particular.

"No…" Shigaraki said, gaining Wade's attention. "This isn't over. Just you wait. The game is still mine."

Glaring at the villain, Wade started getting a gut feeling in his stomach that something was very wrong. This however wasn't felt by the rest of the Heroes.

"You'll tell us where he is right now!" All Might yelled.

"All Might, I think we need to get away from here!" Wade said, becoming anxious. His spidey senses were alarming him of something terrible coming their way.

Shigaraki stared at All Might with a crazed look in his eyes. "Go away. Disappear!"

All Might growled in anger. No way was he letting All for One get away again. "Shigaraki!"

"This is your fault! I HATE YOU!"

"All might!" Wade yelled as his senses alarmed him to a high degree.

Right at that moment, two gray liquid-like portals burst into existence beside Shigaraki. Everyone gasped in shock when Nomus started coming out of them, growling as they exited from the portals.

"Ah, shit." Wade groaned.

"Nomu! How'd they get here!?" Kami Wood exclaimed.

Wade gasped and yelled, "Look out!" Just then, more of the gray portal splattered open above the Heroes, bringing more Nomus with them.

"Dammit, Edgeshot! Shot Kurogiri!" Gran Torino yelled.

"He's still out! This isn't his doing!" The Ninja Hero said. More portals appeared.

"They just keep on coming!"

Seeing the situation turning on them, All Might pointed to Kami Woods. "Don't release them under any circumstances, got it!?"

"Right!" Kami Woods nodded, before gasping in terror. "All Might, the kid!"

All Might turned towards Wade. "What—"

Wade was standing here, with his mouth open, and a gray portal spilling out of his mouth. "H-Help!" He yelled as the portal formed over his body until it completely covered him.

"Wade!" All Might yelled and lunged to grab him. But when he did, the portal broke apart and disappeared. Taking Wade with it. "NNNOOOOOOOOO!"

"Endeavor! Help us!" Kami Woods yelled to the #2 Hero. Only to gasp in shock and horror. "No!"

The portals were appearing all over the street and around the police and SAT. The humans shot at the Nomus, with some managing to kill them with shots in the brain. But not all were able to make those shots before they were ripped apart by the abominations.

After blasting one of them in the brain, Endeavor turned to the detective. "Tsukauchi! Evacuate the area!"

"I-I don't understand. They're coming from the other hideout! But that location should be locked down." Tsukauchi said as his men pumped lead into the monsters. He quickly grabbed the radio mounted on his shoulder and pressed the button. "Come in, Jeanist! What the hell's going on over there?!" But there was no response, making him even more worried. "JEANIST!"

The Heroes and SAT fought off the Nomus whenever they came through the portals. All Might punched away a creature as Gran Torino landed beside him. "Toshinori, what now?"

"They shouldn't have been able to warp Nomu here and this backup came too fast!" All Might told his old friend. However, he already figured it out. Who was behind this.

He was making his move.

As the gray liquid poured around Shigaraki, he sighed in relief. Good, this was all good. The game was still going. And it was all thanks to one person.

"Master."

Star Trek lied, Wade thought in his head. Warping was not a pleasant experience in the slightest. It made him feel gross and dirty. Especially when it was coming out of his mouth! He was just happy when it was over, even if he reappeared in the air.

Wade yelled as he fell to the ground, yelping in pain as he landed on the ground. Having landed back first, Wade groaned as his legs swung down to lay flat on the surface. He panted for a moment, happy to finally get that stuff out of his mouth. And he was so happy to see the stars again. They were so beautiful. What's strange is that normally, you couldn't see them in the city. So, where was he?

Sighing, Wade turned his head to the left… and saw Best Jeanist's head laying next to him.

"AAAAAAHHH! AH! AH!" Wade yelled in fright as he quickly crawled away from the Hero. Seeing his body was badly injured as it trembled on the ground. With blood trailing down his arm.

Looking at Jeanist with eyes filled with horror, Wade took the moment to look around himself, and it wasn't a better sight to behold. The entire area the warehouse was at was completely destroyed, leaving it as nothing but a wasteland.

And it wasn't just him that was horrified. Having witnessed what just happened, the eight students that were there to rescue him hid behind the wall of the alleyway. They were completely frozen in pure shock and fear. Holding their breaths as best as they could. They were too afraid to make a sound. Not after the massacre they'd just witnessed. Not even when Wade showed up out of nowhere. They couldn't warn him, lest they be killed too.

Wade stared at the destruction all around him when he heard a moan coming from behind him. He turned around and was startled to see it was Mt. Lady. The female Hero was back to her normal size and was laying on the ground in pain.

"Mt. Lady!" He exclaimed, quickly turned around and rushed to her. When he knelt down, he gently rolled her on her back.

Grunting in pain, she opened her right eye to look up at Wade. "You're… the kid…"

"What happened here?" Wade asked, worried.

"You… got to… run…" She gasped out before falling unconscious.

Wade looked around for anyone that could help her and Jeanist, but there was no one. All over the ground, he saw the bodies of dead police, and the badly injured Heroes that raided the warehouse. Among them was Gang Orca and Tiger, their bodies broken and on the verge of death. It was indeed a massacre.

That's when the sounds of loud clapping could be heard.

If there was ever a time Wade's spidey senses told him to get the fuck out of there, now was the time. They didn't go off like a gun, they were instead like a cannon blasting danger that warns all of his brain.

Slowly turning his head, Wade looked up as he gazed upon the monster that was responsible. The puppet master lurking in the shadows, and the true face of evil.

All For One

[Shin Godzilla OST: Who will know]

Floating a few feet above the ground, the man that was known as All for One was a man of gigantic stature, who possessed strong, imposing features wearing a dark suit over a white shirt. He donned a navy blue, skull-like gas mask with angular tubes at the top, a wide collar-like life-support system around his neck with additional pipes connecting in the front and back, presumably to help him breathe.

The greatest, not to mention the most ruthless and vilest villain of all time floated in the air as he looked down at the injured Jeanist. "Impressive. I see why you are the #4 Hero, Best Jeanist. A blast like that would have killed all of you. But you were able to manipulate everyone's clothes and pull them out of the way just in time. Quick thinking. Color me impressed."

Best Jeanist looked at the man floating in front of him with a feeling he's never felt in all his years as a Pro Hero. Fear. True, pure fear. This was him? When he and the other heroes were debriefed on the mission, he and the others were told of an architect that was behind the formation of the League of Villains. A villain with strength equal to that of All Might. A villain that was crafty and cautious, that he wouldn't have revealed himself if he couldn't guarantee his own safety. That's why they were told to take Shigaraki down as quickly as possible. Then they could have moved on to their leader.

"It wasn't supposed to be like this." Jeanist grunted in pain. Using the fibers on the back of his costume, he tried pushing himself up. "But that doesn't matter. A true Hero doesn't believe in excuses!"

The Hero sent out many fibers from his costume to attack the villain, hoping to inflict some damage. But it was not to be. All For One blasted him with a shockwave of air from his arm. Punching a hole straight through Jeanist's abdomen. The ground behind him exploded, while blood exploded from the hole in his body. The #4 Hero then collapsed on the floor again.

Wade stared at the Hero in horror. "Now, I see." All For One said, making Wade look back at him. "Your strength comes from practice and practical experience, not raw power." He landed on the ground, and approached Best Jeanist's body. Stopping when he stood over his head. "I don't need your Quirk. It wouldn't pair well with Tomura's disposition." The villain nudged the seemingly dead Hero's face with his foot.

"Don't touch him!"

All For One looked up at Wade, who stood protectively in front of Mt. Lady. The eight students had to cover their mouths with their hands to stop their gasps and any other noises they would've made. What the hell was he thinking?!

"Wade! I'd almost forgotten you were here." All For One said sarcastically as he stepped around Jeanist's body. "I was hoping to make up for not being able to meet you in person the first time we talked. And might I say, you are rather impressive, and brave." He commented, seeing how Wade was willing to protect a Hero as vain as Mt. Lady. "All Might has chosen well."

With a shaking grin, Wade glared at the villain. "Well, I do aim to please." Unfortunately, he couldn't stop sweating bullets.

All For One stopped a few meters from him. "And you have."

Behind the wall, the students listened in on the conversation. Shoto's mind raced a thousand miles as he wondered who this man was, and what kind of power he could have. Kirishima was the same way, especially after witnessing All For One take out three Pros in an instant. He didn't believe that such power could exist in one person.

All eight of them knew that they couldn't stay there. They had to run! But how? They were too scared to move their legs. They were completely frozen in fear and shock. But the person they came to rescue was right in front of them, along with a powerful villain.

Just then, the gray portals from before appeared, and from them came all the members of the League of Villains. "That was so gross!" Toga gagged as she stood up.

"This black stuff reeks! I love it." Twice said. Behind him and the other villains laid the unconscious bodies of Kurogiri and Dabi.

Seeing All For One in front of him, Shigaraki bowed his head. "Master."

All For One sighed and approached him. "So, you failed once more, Tomura. But must not be discouraged. You'll try again. That's why I brought your associates back with you." He stopped in front of his apprentice and held out his hand to him. "Start over as many times as it takes. I am here to provide you with help. All of this is for you."

Shigaraki reached out, and took his hand. All For One helped him stand up again. The master was then approached by Ghost. "Master." He bowed.

"Ghost. You've done wonderfully. Your request for a mindwipe shall not go unfulfilled. But first, your assistance is needed." All For One said, before holding up a long gun case. Ghost took the case and opened it to reveal a 33in Desert Tech SRS with a high-powered scope. "Take position at the Kamino observation tower. This will be the most important mission I will task you with. You've never failed me before, and I expect you to not fail me with this."

"I shall leave at once," said Ghost, and disappeared by covering himself in invisible ink.

"NO!" Wade yelled, and was about to run after his dad. But then All For One appeared in front of him. Causing him to come to a skidding halt and step away from him.

"Wade…" Ochaco said in anguish, almost running out to him. However, Bakugo grabbed her by her hoodie, stopping her from going before she got herself killed.

"I will admit, the story of how you got your Spider Quirk is rather fantastical. I'm not surprised you would have kept it a secret. If it really did come from an interdimensional spider, then I will not be able to take it." All For One said, sounding amused. "But that's not the only Quirk you have, is it?"

Wade swallowed the lump in his throat. "Yeah? Then why don't you just take it?" He growled.

"I would, but I can't take it by force. You have to pass it onto me. So, what do you say? You give me your second Quirk, and I'll let you live to continue being a Hero."

Wade glared at the villain and activated Battle Focus. "Over my dead body!" He declared. "I'm never giving you this power!"

"Oh, so unwise." All For One reached his hand out towards Wade as he couldn't help but froze.

However, AFO stopped and looked up at the sky.

"Ah, there you are."

Gasping, Wade turned around and his eyes widened in amazement. It was All Might! He quickly jumped out of the way as the #1 Hero came flying towards his nemesis. He threw the first punch, but AFO caught it. The villain then tried punching him and All Might caught the punch. Their clash created a shockwave that shook multiple city blocks.

"I'll have you return my student, All For One!"

To Be Continued!

AN: Here we go, ladies and gentlemen! The first part of this two part battle to wrap up this Arc of the story. We had Wade sending time with the Villains, which were my favorite parts to work on for this chapter. So many funny moments. We had Ochaco, Mina, and even Bakugo joining in on the rescue.

In the canon series, Mina and Ochaco stay behind, but I didn't think that would fit their characters in the story. Not when their boyfriend was in danger. And we had Bakugo taking a jab at the classmates that didn't want to go along.

I didn't step time with the secret rescue team, as it would've just played out the same as in the series.

And even though it's not the Sinister 6, we do have our own version of one of the most entertaining characters in Spider-Man history. Josuke Joshua Jirachi is our version of J. Jonah Jameson. Or as I like to call him Triple J.

The Sinister 6 from the Spider-Man universe will be making an appearance in the story. But not yet. Not in this arc. They'll show up in an original arc.

We'll definitely be working on the second part of this battle, while at the same time I'll be working on the Seventh Son.

Once again, a huge thanks goes to francisthewitcher for his help.
