Chapter 14: Letter Home

Once Xavier reached the Owlery he sat down and began writing:

Dear Mum, Prongs, Uncle Moony, and Padfoot,

Guess what…I GOT INTO GRYFFINDOR, Phew isn't that great. I made a few friends on the Hogwarts train, two twin boys named Matthew (or Matt) and Lucas (or Luke), and also a boy named Jason (this next part is for Dad, Remus, and Sirius) after hanging out with them I realized that they are true friends and when I asked them if they wanted to be in the Marauders (I explained it to them first of course) and they answered yes. Anyway, I had Transfiguration today and we were transforming matches into needles, and I was one of the first. Then she said I that have your (James) talent in transfiguration. Then I had potions and Snape was totally trying to pick on me by giving JUST me questions (which of course I got them all correct which kind of annoyed him, but the main thing is he was just targeting me. Oh, but the best thing is when I had flying lessons and a Slytherin boy named Lucian bole took a girl name Elspeth's bag and started playing around with it and I tried to take it back but then he flew into the air, and I flew after him (best decision ever) with Jason and the Twins by my side. Then when he got scared after I threatened to knock him off his broom, he chucked the bag and all its items came flying out so while I got the bag Jason and the twins caught the objects before they hit the ground, but McGonagall us and took us to the forbidden forest where the care of magical creatures' class was going on and pulled out a Student named Charlie Weasley (who I've now found out is the Gryffindor Quidditch Captain), and you'll never…never…never ever guess what she said: she said that I and Jason are to become the new Gryffindor Chasers with a girl with the last name of Kinsley and the Twins are the new beaters can you believe it…I'm so excited. SO CAN YOU SEND ME MY BROOM OR MAYBE A NEW BROOM (NUDGE NUDGE WINK WINK)? But anyway, that's all for now, Say hi too Harry and Hailey for me.

Xavier then gave it to his owl ( a girl snow owl named Snow: really creative right!) and watched her fly off.
