Here you go, a little fluff for you.
Saturday, September 27, 1998
When Saturday dawned, Hermione woke up feeling more refreshed than she had in ages. Scorpius was sitting quietly and her emotions felt wonderfully balanced. "Morning, love," Draco said, looking at her over his glasses. "How are you feeling?"
Theo rolled over to face away from her and she smiled up at Draco. "Surprisingly great," she said. "Something about today feels… right?"
"It bloody well better be," Theo groaned. "Can we go back to sleep for a while longer?"
"You can sleep as long as you don't mind missing your first activity," Draco said with a wink.
Theo shot up. "No! What time is it?"
Hermione conjured a wandless, wordless Tempus.
"9:37," she said looking at Theo as he frantically got up, and started racing around the room. "What's-"
"Oh blast," Theo said, not even looking at them, "I'm late already. Gods have I ruined the whole day?"
"Master has not been ruining the whole day!" Gertie said, popping in with her hands on her hips.
Hermione let out a giggle and Draco chuckled. Theo spun around and glared at them playfully. "Up! Up! We have things to do."
"I be laying out clothes for Mistress and Masters," Gertie said primly before she popped away.
Theo gave them another look and then bustled to the bathroom to get ready. "Shall we, my lady?" Draco asked with a smirk.
"We shouldn't torture him for too long," Hermione said leaning up to kiss him.
When their lips touched, Scorpius gave an almighty kick that made her wince and Draco's eyes widen with awe. "I'll never get tired of that," Draco whispered against her lips.
"That makes one of us," she grumbled good naturedly. The two of them made their way to the bathroom where Gertie had indeed laid out their clothes. Draco had a light sweater and a pair of jeans while Hermione had a sweater dress and a pair of thin black tights.
Theo was stepping out of the shower rubbing at his hair with a towel. "Finally," he huffed, "I thought you'd never come!"
"So dramatic," Draco said, pecking his cheek as he stepped into the shower. Hermione stood in front of the mirror and got ready for the day. She added a light dusting of makeup and brushed her teeth. She turned and slid the tights up her legs and slid the dress over her arms.
When the three of them were ready, they Flood to their beach house in St. Ives. Theo glamoured Hermione and cheersed Draco with a flask of Polyjuice.
She grinned when Draco's features turned into a man in his late 20s and Theo's shrunk to that of a child around 10. "Hello," Theo said with a grin, "I found a mixed family for us to emulate. Now we can go on our adventure!"
Theo grabbed her hand and dragged her to the door, Draco following behind chuckling. The first place they went was a small restaurant on the beach. Hermione ordered a classic English while Theo and Draco indulged in seafood.
"You're not allowed to kiss me until you brush your teeth," she teased Draco.
"Why ever not, darling?" he asked, looking at her in confusion.
"Unless you're looking to match your outfit with a layer of vomit you'll stay far far away," Theo said knowingly.
Hermione giggled and dug back into her meal. By the time they'd finished, the sun was almost fully in the sky and the wind had picked up. She held Theo's hand as Draco wrapped his arm around her. They made it to the front of a cinema that was blaring "Saving Private Ryan," from all the signage.
"I've been wanting to see this one!" she said, excitedly.
"Oh," Theo said, a bit dejectedly. "I was going to have us see something else so I could go down on you while it was playing…"
Draco snorted, "Looks like we're out of luck, mate."
Hermione mostly ignored them and marched towards the box office, purchasing three tickets for the film. When they'd all settled into their seats with their popcorn and soda in hand she leaned over and kissed Theo on the cheek. The theatre was packed. "It's supposed to be excellent. Mum and Dad will be so jealous!"
It was in fact one of the best movies that Hermione had ever seen. Tears leaked down her face multiple times throughout the movie. Draco and Theo took turns comforting her, but she noticed that they both looked a little watery as well.
When they exited the cinema, Theo was pleased to see that the wind had died down and the sun was shining on the nice autumn day. He dragged her to the beach outside of their house and forced Hermione to lay down. Before she knew it she was asleep on the sand.
When she woke up, Theo was on top of Draco, kissing him passionately. Hermione laid there silently and watched them. The two of them together was so erotic, most of the time she couldn't handle herself. Today, though, she didn't feel like joining in and just watched them together.
After a while she felt her stomach growl and apparently so did the boys who both looked over at almost the exact same time. "Good morning, sunshine," Theo teased. "Are Scorpius and his Mum hungry?"
"Dreadfully," she groaned. "Please feed me, husbands?"
Draco snapped his fingers and a picnic was laid out before them. Hermione barely had a chance to sit up before she was handed a plate full of food by Theo. The rest of the evening was spent watching the sun set over the water.
"This is exactly what I needed," Hermione said with a sigh as she rested against Draco with Theo's head in her lap. "I feel like we so rarely get to be normal that these days feel extra special."
"I can't wait until our lives are boring," Draco said, laying a kiss on the top of her head.
Theo snorted, "If you think for one moment that our lives will ever be boring you have another thing coming, mister."
Draco sighed, "Point taken, I suppose I just mean not in a war."
Hermione smiled at the two of them, "One day, when we've won, I promise to let you both have as boring of lives as you want for at least a month, then we can start doing exciting things again. "
I've realised that I've backed myself into a bit of a boring corner by using Hermione's POV. Not much a pregnant lady should be doing in regards to a war... if you have any ideas on how to realistically spice things up, let me know!
